What are your thoughts about Wrestlemania 36 this weekend? I overall liked today's show. I was originally going to be in Tampa Bay for this show today until the pandemic forced the cancellation. But for some reason the WWE has not refunded me yet. Hopefully they will refund me soon.

Not seen it , in UK (I know BT was showing it) . Going to wait for the dvd release , but seen the results . But shouldn't they of let Shayna Baszler & Rhea Ripley win their matches ?

I had a very negative attitude leading up to Mania and wasn’t even planning to watch it. Instead I’d just read the live results online like most PPVs. But I ended up changing my mind and watched both nights and I’m glad I did. I enjoyed Night 1 more, but both were fun. Taker vs AJ was really wonderful and makes me wonder if they don’t do more stuff like this in the future. Loved both Goldberg vs Braun and Brock vs Drew. Both reminded me of big FG matches where guys are just killing each other with multiple moves and finishers. There was a lot of good on these shows and very little bad. I did terrible in my pick era so there were some nice surprises for me too. Only matches I didn’t care for or found myself zoning out of were Becky’s match and Orton vs Edge. The Cena/Bray match was weird in a fun way. I liked it.
Best match: Boneyard Match. Worst match: Edge vs Orton (or the women’s opener of night 2 if it counts).

With how poor NXT ratings are I wasn’t surprised to see Charlotte win. Storyline wise she should have won anyways. Agree about Baszler. Vince must not like here. She will prob be in an undercard tag team with Tamina soon.

Some of the results (especially on Night 1) surprised me including Shayna losing to Becky. Shayna had arguably the most dominating performance in Elimination Chamber history leading into this match and I thought she would win the title at Mania. I was really glad on Night 2 to see Bayley retain and Drew win the title.

I agree with you about the Boneyard Match being the best on the whole card. I think it was the best match I have seen that was outside the ring. I was put together nicely. I disagree with the Edge vs Orton match, I really enjoyed that match probably my second favorite match on the card. I believe it needed to be what it was to settle the score of where they took it. It was a Last Standing Match so it had that feel to it that they fought all over the building. I think that Baley should have lost the Smackdown Women's title more so than Becky. Baley's acting just seems so fake to me that she can't make it believable to me. I was hoping that the Drew/Brock match would have gone on longer though. I know that Goldberg matches will always be short but I know Brock and Drew can much longer.

Was surprised that Brock vs Drew didn't go longer. Overall it was pretty much the exact same script as the Goldberg vs. Braun match. Neither championship match did anything for me.
As far as stuff in the arena I guess Seth vs. KO was my favorite overall. Edge vs. Orton was what it should have been, not the worst match at all, but did go on too long.
Loved the Boneyard match the best. I love the out of the arena type matches, and this was an excellent one. The Cena vs. Wyatt match was really interesting, but I may need to watch it again to really catch everything. Lots of subtle and less subtle messages in there.
Overall, my biggest takeaway is that a 2-night Mania with 3.5 hour cards is far more enjoyable and digestable than 1 6-hour Wrestlemania.

I think it was a fun show. As TM said, much better over 2 days plus skips things like super battle royals. Boneyard was something else. Really fun and I think they should have gut Edge/Orton by about 15 minutes. Otherwise, much better than expected.

I haven’t been able to get into Edge’s return at all which is odd considering he was once my favorite wrestler. Just not feeling his return for whatever reason. Orton is one of my favorites and I still couldn’t get into it. I think I would have preferred they teamed upon his return and not feuded.

I think seeing that really helped me care more about Edges' return. I was never an Edge head in his first run in WWE. but seeing him now I have more interest in him as a person and wrestler. I am looking forward to see the special on the Undertaker and all the things that it takes to get him to his couple times a year appearances.
