The Boys from Mecatoid
Main Feuds: None Yet
The Boys from Mecatoid are a group of friends living their dream of being together in the CWF. Growing up, they became huge fans of the GWFC when it arrived in 2110. While disappointed when that federation returned to Dimension K, they were elated when Lance At-Las announced the creation of the CWF.
They were such huge fans of wrestling that they started their own “backyard fed” in their neighborhood. While they had hours of fun pretending to be their favorite stars, their parents shut down the activity after several of the kids were injured in the competition.
Kristoff, Samuel and Hiro were not deterred. They continued to practice their craft at a local gym. They continually lobbied CWF staff for tryouts whenever the CWF put on a show in Mecatoid. Finally, in late 2115 they received their opportunity. Lance At-Las’ team saw enough in the three youngsters to sign them to the CWF on non-guaranteed contracts.
Most of the roster isn’t paying much attention yet, but it’s clear that the three of them work well together and have plenty of potential. While they outwardly try to appear cool, they’re really still marks who are thrilled to be sharing a locker room with guys who they were watching as fans just weeks ago.
Kristoff likes to finish his matches with his MOON LOCK (a Boston crab). Samuel likes to use a pumphandle slam that he calls THE BIG SLAM. Hiro is very comfortable in tag matches and likes to work with his teammates. Samuel or Kristoff throws the opponent into the ropes and Hiro executes a springboard superman punch. They call it the MECATOID BOMB. In singles matches, Hiro doesn’t have the advantage of his teammate whipping the opponent and it is less effective.
Grovel & Cringe
Main Feuds: None
Grovel and Cringe are still loved by the fans. Many have wondered what the arrival of Paganax and the Oppressor might mean to them, but so far neither Grovel nor Cringe have given any indication that they have even noticed the arrival of others like themselves.
