WHAT YOU MISSED Over 2088, a slew of new talent appeared. These names included Count Necros, Justice, Iron Mane, Vlad Hammer, Mr. Galaxy, Mitsuko, Quasar, Mayhem, Earthquake, Keepers of the Stone and The Cosmic Forces! They all land where promoters remember(just a little sooner.)
In the later months, it was announced a man named The Collector would be entering the GWF. He would be taking Renegade and Earthquake into his camp as a finishing school.
A little green man named Doomsayer makes his presence known by bringing together his Galactic Rebels! The Alien Corps and The Cosmic Forces look to gain retribution for their treatments in prision!
Pulsar declares that 2088 will be Pulsar's last year. 2089 will be the debut of Pulsar Prime!
The Bounty Hunter proposes a wager to BeastRider! The bet? COLLECTION VS COLLECTION. BeastRider's zoo vs Bounty Hunter's captives! WINNER TAKE ALL. In addition, thrown in by Reynard B. Guile, if Bounty Hunter wins, BeastRider is a slave to him for 2 years! But on the flip side, if BeastRider won, Reynard would be his janitor for 2 years! The night of the match finally came, and Bounty Hunter picked up a dubious win. Bounty Hunter, in a press conference after the match, stripped BeastRider of his name and forced him to use his real name. Now going as Terak again, Terak was named the new keeper of Bounty Hunter's zoo. Being forced to give no compassion or friendship to his charges, the next two years will be rough for Terak.
TWO HEEL SUPERGROUPS EMERGE. Kraken's Society of Death gain the Awesome Studs and The Keeper's of the Stone to further their own strength! But in a shocking development, Thantos creates a team! Thantos announced that beginning the first of the 2089, himself, Bounty Hunter, Terak, The Creeper, and two other will form Devil's Pact! They'll be challenging the FDF!
During the special Christmas show, a match between the Royal Family vs Massif & Commander Sam took place. The Royal Family pulled out the win, but the real story took place after the match. A small bald man came to the stage and pointed at Massif & Sam. Two DERANGED looking men stormed the ring! It was Renegade and Earthquake! The two looked completely different! During the beatdown, the man revealed he was The Collector! He then announced this was not Renegade or Earthquake, this was Cannibal and Chopper Mattock, the final two members of Devil's Pact! NUCLEAR HEAT.
And finally, on the same show, the annual Champions vs Champions tag team match took place. Star Warrior(Galaxian) & Billy Jo Boxer(IP) vs The Gladiators(Tag Team)! During the match, Thantos came out to be a distraction to Warrior, and it worked. He started a brawl at ringside, causing Boxer to get hit with a DECAPITATOR and get pinned. What ensued was a LOCKER ROOM CLEARING brawl! Star Warrior ended up in handcuffs as the mob was broken up! As a result, the GWF Board of Directors issued two decrees. One, a new commissioner would be named. This commissioner would be Zackary Carter! And their second decree, as dictated by Carter, is that all GWF championships will be vacate, effective immediately! The GWF Galaxian Heavyweight championship will be defended in a 2 night, 32 man single elimination tournament! The names will be announced over the coming days! It's anyone's to win!

(I've been running a slightly accelerated old school fed as of late. I handpicked a few debuts to happen early, although everything from 2087 to the end of 2088 remains pretty much the same. Will I stop another fed as quickly as I start it? Maybe! Do I think you'll enjoy everything until I do? Yep!)

DEIMOS PERENNIAL, NIGHT 2 ROUND 2 Massif defeats Incredible Badger (Notes: Massif, not wanting to expend too much energy, dispatched of the Animan in quick fashion.)
Spike defeats Lord Nexus (Notes: Spike defeated both leaders of the Titans this tournament in convincing fashion. Massif vs Spike for the 3rd round.)
Cannibal defeats Galactic Punisher (Notes: Punisher was interviewed before the match and promised to bring this villain down to size. Cannibal was enraged by this and went balls to the wall and eventually choked out Punisher, to the dismay of fans.)
Thantos defeats Pit Viper (Notes: The Devil Himself moves on passed a very game Assassin.)
Adam Blast defeats Comrade Terror (Notes: The miracle run continues! Adam Blast defeats one of his greatest foes in short order!)
Bishop Hell defeats Battering Ram (Notes: The brash Animan tried to follow up on his victory from last night, but got met with HELLFIRE.)
Tongsoon defeats Wolf (Notes: Perhaps the fans greatest hope of a hero winning the tournament fades as Tongsoon silences the mighty howl of Wolf with a BATTLECRY.)
Brute defeats Exo-King (Notes: If you like two big, meaty men hitting each other as hard as possible, this was your match. Neither gave a dingdang inch, but finally by way of BRUTE FORCE, Exo-King fell.)
ROUND 3
Spike defeats Massif (Notes: The Gladiator destroyed the rock climber.)
Thantos defeats Cannibal (Notes: Cannibal looked to end his team leader’s career, but Thantos was able to cause Cannibal to pass out. Thantos showed respect for the treachery of his teammate.)
Bishop Hell defeats Adam Blast (Notes: Miracles can’t last forever, as Bishop Hell takes down the young man and kills the last hope for a hero to win the tournament.)
Brute defeats Tongsoon (Notes: BRUTE FORCE after BRUTE FORCE after BRUTE FORCE puts down a Rebel.)
SEMI-FINALS
Thantos defeats Spike (Notes: Thantos simply out-wrestled Spike.)
Bishop Hell defeats Brute (Notes: Power meets HELLFIRE. HELLFIRE wins out.)
NON-TOURNAMENT ACTION
Splatter defeats Chopper Mattock, Billy Jo Boxer, Death Masque, Bounty Hunter, Mesmer, Count Necros, Pulsar Prime, Commander Sam, Killer Queen, Invincible Kraken, Massacre, Justice, Mr. Galaxy, The Creeper, Terak, Reptillo, Vlad Hammer, Iron Mane, and Mad Jester to win a battle royale for the vacant InterPlanetary Championship (Notes: In an un-announced treat for fans, the vacant IP title was put up for grabs in a battle royale! Unfortunately, a villain also stole this one. Splatter unveiled what he called ARESENAL, a massive club, to whack Pulsar Prime out of the ring.)
FINALS
Before the match, trumpets sound and the announcer calls for the fans to welcome our finalists. As Thantos and Bishop Hell re-entered the arena, accompanied by their respective teams, the fans booed them out of the galaxy. Clearly upset that the finals featured two of the most prominent rule-breakers in the industry, the fans drowned out the opening introductions with their jeers. Thantos and Bishop Hell were locking eyes the entire time as their teams jeered back at the fans. The introductions are over, it’s time to crown a champion.
Thantos defeats Bishop Hell (Notes: The two perennial villains didn’t pay attention to the chorus of boos as they locked up. Something strange happened, however. Over the course of the match, it proved to be exciting! In fact, some GWF historians theorize this might be the greatest match in the 15 year history of the federation. The two men won the fans over for the time being. Thantos was able to lock in the MASTERLOCK to cause Bishop Hell to tap out. Your winner and the (channeling The Fink here) NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW GWF GALAXIAN HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION, THANTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOS!)
CHAMPIONS
GWF Galaxian Heavyweight: Thantos
InterPlanetary: Splatter

Card #1 As the show begins, Thantos and Devil’s Pact arrives to the arena. Thantos berates the fans as he flaunts his big win in the Deimos Perennial and capturing the GWF Galaxian title. This causes Star Warrior and the FDF to arrive. Star Warrior makes a challenge for tonight, him vs Thantos for the title! Thantos just laughs at him citing his loss in the first round. Commissioner Carter interjects by way of the titantron. In the spirit of fairness, he offers Star Warrior a deal. Due to him never truly losing the GWF title in a defense, he will offer him his shot tonight. But because he in fact lost in the first round last weekend, should Star Warrior lose, he will not receive another GWF Galaxian title shot for the remainder of 2089. He consults with the rest of the FDF, but as if there was any doubt, Star Warrior agrees. Thantos is irate as the segment ends. Alien Corps defeat The Young Allies (Notes: After a humiliating loss at the hands of Adam Blast in the second round of the Deimos Perennial, Comrade Terror wanted revenge! And he got just that, as Alien Corps put down the young upstarts.)
Commander Sam defeats Killer Queen (Notes: Sam’s American pride was in full display, as the Red, White, and (Black &)Blue trampled all over Killer Queen.)
Terak defeats Vanity (Notes: Although he may be under a slave contract, Terak won’t back down from any villain! He was able to beat his old teammate.)
The Gladiators defeat The Animen of Andromeda, The Greek Gods, and The Fighting Titans for the GWF Tag Team championships (Notes: In a four way match, The Gladiators were able to cut off any offense their opponents would make, and hit a big DECAPITATOR on Lord Nexus to recapture the championships they never lost.)
Pulsar Prime defeats Pit Viper (Notes: Viper underestimated the new resolve of Pulsar and lost soundly)
Star Warrior defeats Thanatos(c) for the GWF Galaxian Heavyweight championship(had Star Warrior lost, he would not receive another shot at the title until 2090) (Notes: This was a fight from jumpstreet! But Star Warrior hit a big COSMIC BIG BANG for the win!)
As Star Warrior was given the championship, the lights flickered. Once he raised it fully, they went out completely! After a few moments, the lights roared back on, and there was a mysterious man in all black and face paint in the ring! Star Warrior locked eye contact and looked as though he saw a ghost. He looked at the title and seemingly said “It’s about this isn’t it? WELL COME ON!” Star Warrior DEMANDED the referee call for the bell and we have a title match!)
Crow defeats Star Warrior in an impromptu match for the GWF Galaxian Heavyweight championship (Notes: Star Warrior was obviously tired, and the mysterious man took advantage. Crow locked a sharpshooter in deep to make Star Warrior pass out and come away with the GWF title. As Crow raised the title over Warrior’s body, the lights went back out. When they came back up, Crow was gone, along with the title.)
CHAMPIONS
GWF Galaxian: Crow
InterPlanetary: Splatter
Tag Team: The Gladiators

Card #2 Brute & Massacre storm to the ring and declare an open challenge match for the GWF Tag Team Championships to prove nobody, even when they aren’t prepared, can match the might of the Gladiators. The GalactiCorps come raging out of the locker room to accept the challenge.
The Gladiators defeat The GaltiCorps to retain the GWF Tag Team Championships (Notes: The match didn’t last long. Brute had been the one doing the talking, so he and Justice started. Justice immediately had the upper hand and hit two Shock Probations! Brute would have been pinned if Massacre had not started a massive brawl that saw Punisher get tossed head over heels out of the ring and the Gladiators hit a big DECAPITATOR for the win. Brute was flustered.)
Battering Ram defeats Exo-King (Notes: It was an all-out, hold nothing back fight. Seems to be a trend with Exo-King lately. Battering Ram was able to hit a BATTERING RAM to fell the king.)
Tongsoon defeats Adam Blast (Notes: Tongsoon made quick work of Blast. As is the theme of the night, it was a quick hard hitting match.)
Comrade Terror defeats Vlad Hammer (Notes: Terror ABSOLUTELY underestimated the rookie, as he almost got caught throughout the entire match. If it wasn’t for foul play on the outside, Hammer may have shocked the galaxy.)
Bishop Hell defeats Wolf (Notes: Continuing the theme, a very quick and hard fought match. Wolf took a HELLFIRE on the outside, and a FLYING CROSS inside the ring to get put down.)
The Norse Gods defeat The Eastern Dynasty (Notes: IT’S THE MATCH THAT NEVER EEEEEEEEEEEEEENDS. IT JUST GOES ON AND ON MY FRIEEEEEEEEEEENDS. These two teams that are on the bottom of the rankings sure decided a good night to show up. Man-Mountain put down Khan with MOUNTAIN SLIDE.)
Massif defeats Spike to become the number one contender to Crow (Notes: The two men picked the theme back up, and left everything in the ring. Massif made Spike pass out to a bear hug for the win)
The lights go out once more and when they come back, Crow and Massif are standing off with one another. Crow is holding the title in the air as the lights go back off, and Massif is left alone. Massif signals that he’s ready and sends the crowd home happy.
CHAMPIONS
GWF Galaxian: Crow
InterPlanetary: Splatter
Tag Team: The Gladiators

Card #3 Doomsayer strolls out with the Cosmic Forces. He wants to show off his new charges(heh) and asks for the best of the best! Which obviously means…Meteor Storm!...Wait huh? Did I read that righ-I did. It’s really Meteor Storm?…Okay then.
Meteor Storm defeats Cosmic For-WAIT WHAT?! METEOR STORM DEFEATS COSMIC FORCES?! (Notes: The Astro Turk RAN WILD over Matter! Cosmic Forces took control for a short time before Astro got back on offense, but when they hit METEOR SHOWER, it was over! Doomsayer orders Comics Forces to attack the winners and called for the Alien Corps! The Galactic Rebels were looking to END Meteor Storm, WHEN THE YOUNG ALLIES RUN OUT. With the help of the two men from Earth, Meteor Storm battles back. The end of the segment comes when Meteor Storm DOUBLE CLOTHESLINES Cosmic Forces over the top rope to a huge crowd pop! The Young Allies talk to Meteor Storm a bit in the ring and they leave together.)
Society of Death (Kraken, Mr. Galaxy, Scourge, & Rouge) defeats The Fighting Titans (Lord Nexus, Billy Jo Boxer, Quasar, and Trainer Jim) (Notes: The main target was Trainer Jim, obviously. But after a big breakdown in the action, Kraken hit a FALLING FACE SLAM on Quasar for the win.)
Devil’s Pact (Bounty Hunter, Reynard B. Guile, and The Creeper) defeats The Animen of Andromeda (The Incredible Badger, Iron Mane, and Reptillo) (Notes: The match never actually started for about 8 or so minutes, the two teams met on the outside to fight! The Creeper and Reptillo made their way into the ring, and the bell was called. As soon it was sounded, Creeper hit an ELIMINATOR on Reptillo, and the Animan couldn’t kick out.)
The Headsmen defeated The Greek Gods (Notes: In a surprisingly clean contest, The Headsmen hit a GUILLOTINE for the win.)
Mad Jester defeats Mayhem, Chopper Mattock, and Splatter to win the GWF Heavy Metal Championship (Notes: A four way Titan Death match decided the first Heavy Metal champion in history! And it the Mad Jester that was able to edge(heh) out his competition! He hit a piledriver on Chopper for the win and the title.)
Massif defeats Crow to become the GWF Galaxian Heavyweight champion! (Notes: In a contest that felt oddly personal between these two men, the big man was able to use his power to put down Crow! After a missed DEATHSAULT, Massif hit a big piledriver and a VOLCANIC DROP to capture the title and beat the mysterious newcomer! As Massif was given the championship and began to celebrate, the lights went out! When they came back up, Crow was missing! After this, Massif took the microphone to address the crowd and promised to be a fighting champion!)
CHAMPIONS
GWF Galaxian: Massif
InterPlanetary: Splatter
Heavy Metal: Mad Jester
Tag Team: The Gladiators
(And that's week 1 in the books! This turned out to be a lot more fun for me than I thought it was gonna be. As I type this, I'm getting things ready for week 2 - 5 to be rolled. I'm not really setting matches for the cards, I'm just making sure that most of the roster gets a match during the week. I hope this is turning out to be just as fun to read as it is to play!)
