Had a ton of fun with it. Sadly, I lost it to the sands of time. Fell out of love with wrestling. Got back into wrestling a few years back. Just realized a few days ago this game still exists and has expanded way beyond just LOW/COTG.
Memories are extremely hazy, but I think it was possible to cross over COTG/LOW. Is that still the case if I wanted to mix Legend and Indys? Or are there reasons to keep them separate? I'm sure its written somewhere. Didn't see it though.
About to put in an order. Hopefully they're still shipping lol.

Hey friend! To answer your question, in my current federation I run in an alternate timeline so what I do is run my LAW federation in two different eras currently.
I run LAW Legends which takes place/will take place between 1980 to 20??. In that I am currently utilizing all of the legends and Indy sets. Especially needed to do so to build my womens division. So I have it set at the moment to mix but I may change that. I have bought most of the sets and what I did was design sets based on my timeline (ex Ted Dibiase becomes MILLION dollar man at the time he shows up in WWF)
I then run my champions fed set in that future in 2087. So there are things present in my LAW Legends fed that reflect that.

It's perfectly easy by the rules but the COTG wrestlers tend to be a bit stronger since they are in the future and not always human.

Welcome back! You can mix if you want, but there are so many cards available, that you really don’t have to.

Awesome. Perfect! I'm not sure yet if I want to set myself into a specific time frame like that from the get go. But yeah. That's exactly what I was hoping for. TBH, never got into COTG back then but had that feeling given the sci-fi nature of it. Something I absolutely want to do this time after I get my Indy/Legend set where I want it. Thank you guys for the info!
And thanks Pikemojo and MHardcore. Like I said, about to put my order in. Can't wait to get my cards.

I think that there was an article in one of the old GWF PROMOTER snail-mail newsletters concerning bringing Legends of Wrestling characters performing in the COTG time period. It was something about every wrestler appearing in the LWF is an exact clone of his/her real-life counterpart living on a planet inhabited entirely by clones. DNA collectors would travel back in time to a particular wrestler's time period and could collect samples by touching the performer, even something so ambiguous as shaking hands. I believe that this is the same planet whose scientists had collected a sample of Crossfire's DNA after he'd been killed by Blazing Skull, if I remember correctly. I don't know where that particular issue is at the moment and don't feel like tearing apart my apartment just to find it at this time.

Lol, it was the soft worker handshake that doomed wrestling to endless wrestler returns from the 80s and 90s. That actually sounds like a really cool idea. Thank you.
