Well it's only fair they get to host it next year.
Feel they might have stretched a bit for Arnette, but hope he surprises.

my Seahawks just drafted Jordyn Brooks at #27. I was expecting defense, but not a linebacker.

Yeah, I was more excited about the news about the draft coming back here in 2 years than I was about Arnette. Las Vegas drafted for need at that spot as they needed a cornerback as their deal with free agent Eli Apple recently fell apart.

Very happy w the Okudah pick. He was the best defensive player in the NCAA college football playoffs and might be the best player in the draft. Very disappointed we were not able to trade down and get him though.
Tonight should be just as exciting. Still tons of talent left in the boards. There are 7-8 guys I’ll be thrilled with in round 2.

We will see how this plays out, but at the moment I am not too enthusiastic about the 3 players my 2 teams drafted in the first round yesterday.
my Seahawks: I don't understand drafting Jordyn Brooks when linebacker is not much of a need and when I think there were better linebackers available at that spot anyway like Patrick Queen who Lamar Jackson calls "Ray Lewis Jr." I guess we will know more down the line when Brooks and Queen have some seasons played as to who should have been picked first, but Seattle has 2 2nd round picks today and I would not have been surprised if Brooks would still have been available for them. Hopefully Brooks will be better than last year's first round pick L.J. Collier who had a total of 4 tackles (but the Seahawks did make an excellent pick in last year's 2nd round by taking DK Metcalf with the last pick of the 2nd round.)
Las Vegas Raiders: Ruggs is a 1st round talent and very fast, but I don't get picking him over Jeudy and Lamb at Wide Receiver. Lamb will probably have a great year next season with Prescott throwing to him in Dallas. And the Raiders apparently did not get good value with where they selected that corner back. I was also disappointed in the Raiders 1st round selection last year of Clelin Ferrell at #4 when Josh Allen was still on the board (athough the Raiders did make great picks later last year with both Josh Jacobs and Maxx Crosby.)

Typical Lions bad luck. With Tua's injuries he had a lower market. Then the teams wanting/needing a QB were either right behind us in the draft or way down where it was too far to trade down.

It’s cool. Okudah is a beast. Was rewatching Clemson/Bucks highlights again today getting all excited. Big night tonight! Wearing my Gladiators T-shirt for good luck! I’m intrigued the Hurts rumor. I’d be okay w that I just don’t expect it. Gotta be a smokescreen. But he’s legit, like Lamar.

With the 48th pick (which they just got from the Jets,) the Seahawks select Darrell Taylor. I like this pick as they need help at Defensive End.

Love the D’Andre Swift pick. Stunner. He might be the no.1 fantasy football rookie RB this year.

I know the Las Vegas Raiders really needed help at wide receiver and I know this draft was especially deep at the position, but drafting 3 wide receivers in the first 3 rounds?
