Typical Lions bad luck. With Tua's injuries he had a lower market. Then the teams wanting/needing a QB were either right behind us in the draft or way down where it was too far to trade down. It’s cool. Okudah is a beast. Was rewatching Clemson/Bucks highlights again today getting all excited. Big night tonight! Wearing my Gladiators T-shirt for good luck! I’m intrigued the Hurts rumor. I’d be okay w that I just don’t expect it. Gotta be a smokescreen. But he’s legit, like Lamar. I know but would have been nice to get him at 5, maybe save a bit $, and get a player late in first round with Miami's other pick. This has been a great draft for Lions so far. Possibly top CB and top RB, based on many boards, plus solid pass rusher at LB or DE and a good G. I'm happy and excited.

the draft is now over, and I am not too excited about what my teams did
why did the Raiders draft 3 wide receivers in the 1st 3 rounds when they other needs? Why did they draft that cornerback at #19? Why did they select Ruggs over Jeudy and Lamb?
Not excited at all about what the Seahawks drafted this weekend.. There was a time when John Schneider was the smartest guy in the room for the NFL Draft- picking guys in back to back to back years such as Earl Thomas, Bobby Wagner, Russell Wilson, Richard Sherman, Kam Chancellor, Russell Okung and K.J. Wright which led to them winning Super Bowl 48- but that was years ago.
Since 2016, the Seahawks only have a few hits such as Jarran Reed, Shaquill Griffin, and Michael Dickerson. And the misses have been horrific such as LJ Collier (last year's 1st round pick had 4 tackles total-so when the Seahawks took so many players this weekend ahead of their projected spot I have no confidence,) and Malik McDowell (he had very obvious red flags when they picked him and he never played one NFL game.)
I do however love the Seahawks signing today QB Anthony Gordon who played for Washington State where I got my undergraduate degree. Last year, Anthony Gordon finished 2nd in college football with 5,580 yards and 47 touchdowns and I was shocked he was not drafted. Good move by my Hawks to sign the local QB as a backup to Russell Wilson!

So I loved our draft. Swift is going to be a star! What a surprise pick. My favorite pick is the G from Kentucky aka Richie Incognito V2. Kid is an absolute monster a hole. I hope he can be molded into an absolute stud.
Lots of great late round picks to go along w Richie V2. Love the DT we got and the other G from tOSU. Our O line is going to be gruesome.
If Stafford can stay healthy I like our chances this year to compete in the Norris. Chicago and Green Bay had very strange drafts and appear to be tending down. Vikes are still legit. Ezra Cleveland was a nice pick.

Two years in a row he passes on superior players at positions of need and reaches for a sub par player. Clelin Ferrel last year over Allen and now Ruggs over Lamb (Star) and Jeudy (Star) this draft. Head scratchers for sure.
