What an incredible match to kick off night two of the Galaxian Tag League. Both teams held the offensive for a good portion of the match.
The end came when Man Mountain kicked out of the Pulverizer and Vanity dumped him to the outside and drilled him with a chair shot to cost them the match.

It has happened. The Bomb Squad have upset the reigning GWF Galaxian Tag Team Champions in the tournament. Commander Sam would not lay off the gas
in taking the fight to both members of the Greek Gods in this contest. The end came when Sam hit Proteus with Sam’s Atomic Drop to pick up the win.

Renegade defeated Executioner with a double knee lift at 2:01

Wow what a quick match.
Executioner went for a gut wrench but Renegade counter with a cropper slam and then caught Executioner flush with a double knee lift and the three count for the win.

Ghengis Khan defeated Brute with a TWIN THRUST at 2:06

What just happened here? This far overshadowed the win over the Henchmen.

A good back and forth contest here.
Killer Queen has just not been able to defeat Invincible Krakan since losing the Interplanetary Championship to him earlier this year.
Killer Queen held his own but in the end could not survive 2 Falling Face Slam finishers as Krakan picks up an important win.

Who would have thought that Thantos would make a mistake like this in the G1 Climax?
After choking Massif on the ropes the big man fell to the outside of the ring. As the ref got to 13, it set in for Thantos that a count out win means nothing in the tournament.
He tried to pulled Massif back into the ring before the final count of 20 but Massif is just to big and slipped out of his hand dropping to the floor as Thantos picked up the Count Out win. A BLOCK STANDINGS

An absolutely fantastic back and forth match-up kicked off night 9 of the G1 Climax.
Both men were able to connect with their finishing moves but were not able to get the win.
Pulsar then used his high flying moves to catch Splatter with a perfect crossbody off the top and cover for the win.

Like the action Rex! Surprised by Mesmer doing so well, but I can see it...that card's defense makes it somewhat hard to put him away. Very fitting Thantos and Star Warrior are leading their respective blocks!

Very fitting Thantos and Star Warrior are leading their respective blocks! This tournament has set it set up so beautifully. Nights 11 - 14 are going to be amazing for the G1 Climax. I just finished Night 11 for the A Block and it comes down to the final match of that show to see who wins the block. The tag league is alittle more surprising right now cause the Society of Death is killing the B Block right now. Really hoping for the ultimate upset and they win it out and get the automatic tag title shot. Thanks for the follow Stu. |
