New Galaxian Pro Wrestling Violent Storm Special Report 10.05.2088 - Hello everyone, I'm Johnny Rocket and this is you Violent Storm Special Report. The road to Violent Storm will start on October 17th and conclude on October 23rd. Violent Storm holds alot of history in the company and may actually see history repeat itself one year last on the first night of the tour. It was one year ago that Wolf won the number one contenders tournament and defeated then champion Thantos to become the 6th person ever to hold the GWF Galaxian Championship. While his first run did not go all that well. Wolf will look to learn from that tour and reclaim long lost gold when he faces off with Star Warrior for the GWF Galaxian Championship in a Titan Death Match. Meaning there are no rules, count outs or disqualifications. The referees only job in this match to either count the pinfall or submission and declare the winner of the match. These two have started one of the most heated rivalries in NGPW history over the GWF Galaxian Championship and the board of directors are out to put an end to it once and for all. Can Wolf repeat history on night one of the tour or can Star Warrior continue his reign atop of NGPW as champion? Here is a look at the first round matches in the tournament for Violent Storm. #1 Contenders Tournament - GWF Galaxian Championship - First Round Matches Exo-King vs Mesmer Massif vs Thantos Spike vs Bishop Hell Speaking of history, Invincible Krakan is going to be making alot of it before the tour even kicks off. After Krakan defeated Pit Viper to retain the GWF Interplanetary Championship at Burning Wave. It extended his record of days hold that championship to 210 days, By the time the Violent Storm tournament kicks offs, He will be at a record setting 225 days as champion. That smashes the mark set by then GWF Champion Thantos who single reign record was 217 days before he lost to Star Warrior back at Summer Fight Festival. Krakan can also tie Thantos in another record if he is able to retain the title against whoever he faces at Violent Storm as that would be his 9th successful title defense, Tying the record Thantos currently holds. Will anyone be able to finally take down the Invincible one or will we possibly see another one of Thantos records fall to the Hitman? Here is a look at the first round matches in the Interplanetary Tournament. #1 Contenders Tournament - GWF Interplanetary Championship - First Round Matches Omega vs Death Knight Reptillo vs Splatter Pulsar vs Killer Queen The Animal Pack finally have their first successful title defense behind them beating rivals, The Greek Gods at Burning Wave to retain the titles. This was a feel good moment for the tag team who were a one and done championship holders their first time around. Taking down the former 4 time champions have to be a big boost for them going into the Violent Storm tournament. But does it mean that there might not be a team that can survive the tournament and the champions? With the amount of talent we have in the GWF tag team division, it is very tough to say what might happen at anytime. Here is a look at the first round matches for the GWF Tag Team Championships. #1 Contenders Tournament - GWF Galaxian Tag Team Championships - First Round Matches Beauty & The Beast vs Society of Death N.S.C. vs Norse Gods G.O.A. vs Bomb Squad Henchmen vs Titan Power And there you have it. What history could we see after the main event of Violent Storm on October 23rd? Only one way to find out and that is by staying right here with us on the official page for the things NGPW. See ya..
