I think the biggest problem with the main event is you blew what should be the main event during Quarantine ... I would have booked a dusty finish so we could see Moxley/Hager again

I was surprised to see Brodie Lee already get a main event title shot. This in the heels of Moxley vs Swagger and Jericho vs Moxley. All ex WWE guys dominating the world title scene. What happened to Kenny Omega? Maybe AEW is just trying to recruit more ex WWE guys by showing they’ll sky rocket them to the main events but this has been done before. Lee getting the title shot was somewhat last-minute, they pivoted on the Moxley/MJF match they had planned (I'm guessing holding out hope that they can get it in an actual arena for All Out?) and there really wasn't someone else they could have put in there I guess. Archer was already set up for Cody and at that point, they had nobody else they really could slot in vs. Moxley. They’ll probably be solid matches. Not to gripe...as a wrestling fan I obviously love to see fans excited about any and all wrestling. But I can’t be the only one who sees too many parallels between AEW and TNA. I was checking out some dirt sheets this weekend and every other story is some AEW wrestler talking about WWE. Jericho does it, Cody does it, Moxley does it, Brodie Lee is now doing it. Even Tony Khan does it and he was never in WWE. You get fans who say “Why can’t fans just enjoy both!?” when it’s obvious AEW crafts itself for the anti WWE fan. It would be nice to enjoy both but Cody seems to go out of his way to unapologetically craft an anti WWE show. I’m not full time AEW fan so maybe I’m wrong? Do you think this is holding them back or is it just par fir the course?

I gotta go with Swarm on this, why does every thing have to be a competition. "If you build it they will come." Focus and build the product and they will come and watch!
Give the people variety, give them choice.

Who do you guys think will be the final unannounced participant in the Casino Ladder match?
I think either here or somewhere on this PPV there will be at least 1 debut.

This looks like the final lineup for tonight's show:
-Jon Moxley versus Brodie Lee for the AEW championship -Cody Rhodes versus Lance Archer for the TNT championship -Nyla Rose versus Hikaru Shida for the AEW women’s championship -The Inner Circle versus The Elite in a Stadium Stampede match -9-man Number One Contender’s Ladder Match -MJF versus Jungle Boy -Penelope Ford versus Kris Statlander -Dustin Rhodes versus Shawn Spears -Private Party versus Best Friends for a future AEW tag title opportunity

Any predictions for tonight?
It will be interesting to see who debuts. In addition to The Revolt (or whatever the hell they are calling themselves- they should change that name since they stole it from Caleb Konley and Zane Riley,) it seems obvious that the 9th unannounced participant will be someone making their debut as opposed to someone already on the roster such as Jimmy Havoc as otherwise what is the point of not announcing them ahead of time?
I wonder if Brian Cage will debut tonight? I would not think so as I thought I heard Brian Cage would not be healthy enough to compete until possibly AEW's September PPV, but it is not unheard of for a wrestler to make a much earlier than expected return from injury- especially during a PPV (such as John Cena in Royal Rumble 2008.)

I'm not expecting any recent WWE release to show up as their 90 day is still in effect. I was thinking Brian Cage would be that mystery man in the ladder match.

I could be wrong, but I think The Revolt are eligible to appear on tonight's show since, due to their immediate WWE release, they do not have a 90 day non-compete status unlike the other recent WWE releases? If he is healthy enough, Brian Cage is a good guess for the ladder match mystery competitor.

I love all of these guys but this is the sloppiest match! Not their day.
