DX Announces WWE NXT “Takeover: In Your House” EventThe In Your House name is being brought back for the next WWE NXT Takeover event.
WWE Hall of Famers Triple H, Shawn Michaels and “Road Dogg” BG James appeared during tonight’s NXT episode and announced that “Takeover: In Your House” will air on Sunday, June 7 on the WWE Network.
As seen below, the logo for NXT “Takeover: In Your House” uses the original IYH logo. The idea behind “Takeover: In Your House” is that Superstars and fans have been spending a lot of time at home as of late due to the coronavirus pandemic, according to DX. Triple H noted that tomorrow marks the 25th anniversary of WWE’s first In Your House event. In Your House 1 took place on May 14, 1995 from Syracuse, NY with WWE Hall of Famer Diesel (Kevin Nash) retaining over Sycho Sid in the main event.
There’s no word yet on matches for Takeover.

Funny since I mentioned IYH in another thread yesterday. Also IYH usually had a secondary name and in this case it is the secondary name itself somewhat.

Wait, they aren’t actually coming to my house, right? Because Diane and I live in a pretty small apartment and I don’t know how many wrestlers we could fit in here comfortably, let alone having them fight, all while maintaining healthy social distancing protocols.

Hummm after the C&D letter to Freelance Wrestling (I think it was them) over their "In Your Wearhouse" event, I wonder if the WWE decided it was time to do something with the ™ to not loose it. (You have to use a ™ or ® every so often (5 or 7ish years, I'm not an Intellectual Property lawyer) or risk someone else taking it).

Oddly looking it up, the "In Your House" Trademark may have been lapsed at the time, but who wants to go up against the WWE IP Legal Machine™ (just kidding with the ™). It will cost you more than it's worth in lawyer's fees. With AEW grabbing at old show name trademarks, the WWE has been trying to nail down all the old ones because a lot had lapsed (you don't use a trademark in enough time you can lose it). I suspect we will see the WWE use more old names even if just on glorified house shows, (like the recent "Starcade") to strengthen their claims on them.

Yes!
Killer Kross makes his Takeover debut on this show:
The first match has been announced for the upcoming WWE NXT “Takeover: In Your House” event – Killer Kross vs. Tommaso Ciampa.
This will be the Takeover debut for Kross. The match was announced after Ciampa confronted Kross following tonight’s NXT opener on the USA Network, which saw Kross destroy enhancement talent Liam Gray of EVOLVE. Ciampa praised Kross as being special in the ring and with his entrance, but warned that he is also special and that’s why he was returning to announce the match at Takeover. Kross previously attacked Ciampa before making his official TV debut two weeks ago.
NXT “Takeover: In Your House” will take place on Sunday, June 7 from the NXT Arena at Full Sail Live on the campus of Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL. It will air live on the WWE Network.

Not familiar with Kross (as I don't usually get much of indy scene watched) but love his entrance and he seems extremely talented.
Having him face Ciampa makes sense as this will bring "street cred" and get him over with fans like me (who have very little exposure).
I liked the IYH back in the day and the TM statement makes sense...however, I didn't really care for DX announcing it for some reason. (I know...I know...they were a big part of the earlier versions and HHH runs nXt...but still)

I think this is the complete lineup for this Sunday's show?:
NXT TakeOver: In Your House Card
NXT Championship Backlot Brawl Adam Cole (c) vs. The Velveteen Dream
NXT Women's Championship Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Io Shirai
Tommaso Ciampa vs. Karrion Kross with Scarlett
NXT North American Championship Keith Lee (c) vs. Johnny Gargano
Finn Bálor vs. Damian Priest
Mia Yim, Tegan Nox & Shotzi Blackheart vs. Candice LeRae, Dakota Kai & Raquel González
To celebrate the PPV debut of Killer Kross, FSW is showing this show at their venue for $10 with free food and drink and originally there were going to be a couple of live matches too but now those FSW matches are being pretaped. However I am just going to watch this PPV at home instead of drive across town and pay $10 to see the same show that I can watch on my labtop.
