I haven't played legends for a while... but having gotten back to my GWF fed, I was thinking about doing something... I'm into AEW right now, and it seems like there are official card for the vast majority of the roster, but scattered over the various indy sets.
Would there be any demand out there for a 'Best of the Promoted Indies' (or whatever you guys at Fed HQ was to call it) that would collect those guys in one set?

It’s funny you bring this up as I thought about this but was like would never happen so I started picking up the roster by picking up the other sets. I got MOX and MJF and some others and debating past promoter primes but I don’t have the extra money right now to do so.

Yeah, that's the thing. I might buy a set or two to start perhaps collecting those guys, but don't know that doing it that way will hold my attention

I doubt there would be enough interest in putting together such a set especially as they don't want to jostle certain feds they don't have signed with such a thing.
Good luck with building it up though. Would be a fun fed even though some of the ones we have aren't probably as close as we'd need (SSB, Peter Avalon and Brodie Lee all have cards but they would be different if redone and they're not likely going to be)

I imagine if they did something like this, sales would drop for the sets that had the AEW wrestlers in them. The biggest draw for some of these sets are the exact guys that are excelling in AEW right now. Putting them all into one super set would likely make those other sets less worthwhile to a lot of promoters. There used to be a "Best of Filsinger Games" set that had a lot of the bigger name talent from the indy sets but I don't feel like I've heard of them in a while. Not sure if they still exist.

Kind of going off what was just said, sometimes it’s nice to pick up those sets where you know one name and get to learn about new ones

There has yet to be a set where I didn't find someone I didn't have on my radar who I have really enjoyed using in my indy shows.

You guys are right that getting the sets if fun to encourage research for sure, but it's just that in this case you'd have to buy SO many to pull the roster together.

Best suggestion I can give then is see which of the individual cards you can get from other sources. Since Todd includes extras maybe people have guys they don't need that you can use for an AEW roster.

Yeah, maybe. I have to go through what I have and see what I'd want to do... I haven't done any legends stuff for ages. I might try something with the guys I have first to see if it sparks my interest first.
