Rikidozan vs. ‘Terrible Turk’ Youssuf Ishamaelo
Turk overpowered Rikidozan and made him submit to the STRANGLEHOLD.
(Turk refused to release the hold as Rikidozan began to lose consciousness. Antonio Inoki ran to the ring to force the break, but Turk released the hold and retreated as Inoki entered the ring. Medical staff tended to Rikidozan in the ring then helped him to the back.)
William Muldoon vs. Henry Irslinger
Irslinger wore Muldoon down with several FLYING HEADLOCKS before beating him with a cobra clutch suplex.
Sherri Martel vs. Ida Mae Martinez
Martel dominated and pinned Martinez with a TOP ROPE SPLASH.
Los Bucaneros (Pirata Morgan & Rey Bucanero) vs. Miracle Violence Connection (Steve ‘Dr. Death’ Williams & Terry ‘Bam Bam’ Gordy)
Both teams battled back and forth, but Los Bucaneros double teamed a few too many times, irritating the ref. The ref was at the end of his rope and disqualified Los Bucaneros.
(After the match MVC displayed their frustration with the constant double team tactics and attacked Los Bucaneros. Both teams brawled and it took the entire security force to regain order.)
Konnan vs. Abdullah The Butcher
This was a brutal match and both men were bleeding heavily by the end. Both men survived the other’s finisher multiple times, but Konnan finally locked Abdullah in the TEQUILA SUNRISE squarely in the center of the ring. The pain combined with the blood loss caused Abdullah to pass out.
Johnny Saint vs. Sabu
Sabu came out strong, but missed a TRIPLE JUMP MOONSAULT and Saint took control. Sabu battle back and the action continued back and forth. After a grueling match, Sabu locked in the CAMEL CLUTCH and made Saint submit.
Mildred Burke vs. Joyce Grable
Burke had things well in hand, but in the heat of the moment blasted Grable with a chair when the fight spilled out of the ring, earning Grable the disqualification victory.
Stan Hansen & Bruiser Brody vs. French Giants (Andre The Giant & ‘The French Angel’ Maurice Tillet)
This was a brutal brawl from the outset. Both teams beat the hell out of each other until Tillet locked Hansen in a BEAR HUG. Hansen fought to free himself as Brody entered the ring to break up the hold. Brody was met by Andre and the two brawled in the corner as Tillet increased the pressure on his hold, ultimately forcing Hansen to submit.

Very cool card Mad Kanter! (Even though Rikidozan just didn't have it this night) Got a real kick out of MVC getting so pissed off with Los Buchaneros that they started a second match after the decision. Not many teams cool enough to come to their own rescue. Also not that often Mildred Burke snaps - especially when winning. Really enjoyed the main event. Outstanding. The French Angel starts the downfall. Rockin! |

What a slobber-knocker of a match it must have been with the French Giants getting what I can imagine hard fought victory over Brody and Hanson..the stiff shots in that match...damn!
Turk taking down one of the most dominate Tradition Midwest Champions of all time Rikidozan quite the win for the Terrible one.
