On the other hand, Mick Foley even posed with the COTG game and that never went anywhere. Cross your fingers but never set your expectations too high which allows you to be blown away when someone like Windham or Vader signs.

I know Mick through years and years of helping him at the post office and I’ve said it for years, the simplest way to get him in the game would be to donate some of the profits of the sales of his card(s) to charity...

I feel like that would be the best way to get a bunch of guys but I think price point is an issue. What's a normal card cost to make now a days, a couple bucks? Then artist fees? Add charity $2 on that ... $6-$8 card? That's not terrible...

Love this! I always enjoy hearing the background stories about the signings and especially enjoy when a wrestler or a wrestler's family is really into being a part of the game. I love that this game can keep wrestler's memories alive in such a unique way. Hall of fames are great but there's something special about being able to use a wrestler's card that helps make them seem real and bring a real feeling of what that wrestler was like in the ring. I also love getting AWA guys. I grew up hearing stories of AWA wrestling from my dad so I always love getting anyone from the AWA. James Storm is also an awesome get! Great job, everyone! My feelings exactly, pikemojo! There’s no better way to keep a wrestler’s legacy alive. That’s why I’m always so disappointed when we hear of a wrestler or their family member declining to be in the game, unless of course they’re contractually prohibited. Now, about that Legends game being sent to Bret Hart... I'm disappointed when I hear that as well but I think it's important to understand that everyone has their reasons. Look at Martha Hart... I've never heard that FG has approached her in the past but if they had the answer most likely would have been "no." She seems to loathe the wrestling business and I think we can all understand why. But now recently she has been willing to allow Pro Wrestling Tees to create Owen Hart t-shirts. Many wrestlers have also been cheated in the past by promoters of wrestling shows, autograph signings and video games. I remember hearing that Acclaim didn't pay some of the wrestlers that appeared in their Legends of Wrestling series of games from the early 2000s, though I don't know specifics. All that to say, many wrestlers and their families have reasons to not always be so trusting in those looking to use their likeness.

I’d be willing to bet that just like in real life, most “promoters” would be willing to pay a higher price for top-tier guys we might not normally get otherwise. No offense whatsoever to James Storm, who I’m ecstatic to have in the game and more than happy to pay four bucks for, but I personally would be willing to pay double that for a Mick Foley card.

Awesome to have Bill Irwin (and The Long Riders) in now, too bad we couldn't get a Goon variant!
