Too bad Fake Mike did not take things seriously when he owned and ran the company. Good riddance. Yeah, guys like him and Starr were the most surprising, because they always sounded sincere & claimed to be the opposite of what they were accused of. Joey Ryan wasn’t shocking to me.

Every saint has a past, and every sinner a future. I'm not now, nor have I ever been, a fan of cancel culture. It's dumb as Hell and at it's most base level is ineffective at what it's intended mission seems to be because it just draws more attention to the person being 'canceled'. I often struggle with the idea that we can dislike an artist (in whatever medium) for their behavior but still love the art that they create. More often than not I can make the distinction because, as has already been pointed out before so eloquently, every one of us has done something inappropriate/wrong at some point in our lives. Sometimes I can't reconcile the difference between art and artist, though. I still love pro wrestling. I've been a fan through both good times and bad. I'm not going anywhere. I'm just a little more cautious about who I share my love of it with these days because I don't want to be judged by those who paint us all with a broad brush. After all, the public face of the industry has been given a black eye, and therefore, by association, we must all be okay with the bad behavior. Like I said before, I haven't felt a need to hide my fandom, as I have lately, for a long time. I agree w most of this, I just could care less about who knows I’m a wrestling fan. It was rarely thought of as cool during my lifetime. And other people are into plenty of things that I don’t think are cool either. Neither matters. And unless you were a big wrestling fan, you probably wouldn’t even know about any of this. Most people don’t. And if they don’t like wrestling, they think you’re a moron for watching anyways. I’ve heard plenty of that. But in the end, does it matter what someone else thinks. If someone can’t accept u for something about you that they don’t like (& it’s not a destructive behavior), then the problem is w them. Some people have no hobbies and like to look down on others for enjoying things. FG, video games, etc.. Like what you like. Wear it on your sleeve. We are the wrestling public. They have the option to p@%s off.

Watched the vid. That’s a lot of accusations. He did own up to most of them. Crazy year

I completely get that line of thinking.
I do. And I agree with all of it.
I'm still kind of embarrassed, though. Like finding out that someone or something you support doesn't really deserve it?
I dunno. At the end of the day the only people I really talk wrestling with are other fans but... I'm still very conscious of how this would look to outsiders.

Hey Quack, you can't say that this has nothing to do with the fake world of pro wrestling storylines and still say, "I'm Mike Quackenbush." Your real name is Mike Spillane and that's not a secret. Act like it instead of trying to cut a promo for your apology.
