Looks like Magnum TA is stringing together a pretty impressive record... Really looking forward to his upcoming encounter with Zbyszko and think the winner really would deserve a shot at the title... Fun times!

Jack LaHart kicks off this broadcast talking about the third Special Event from CALIFORNIA WRESTLING being RIPTIDE and then he talks about how Hacksaw Jim Duggan faces Butcher Vachon in the opening match. Hacksaw Jim Duggan spoke to LaHart about how he will turn things around by beating Vachon, then we have Fit Finlay facing Tully Blanchard and JJ Dillon who is busy on this night will be in Blanchards corner as he is with Vachon... Red Bastien vs. Ray Stevens w/Bobby "The Brain" HeenanJJ Dillon told media at a press conference that "Tully Blanchard Enterprises" will sweep RIPTIDE and then we will all see Tully Blanchard win the WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP. The third match of the night has Red Bastien versus Ray Stevens who will have Bobby "The Brain" Heenan in his corner and Heenan states that Ray Stevens will cripple Bastien and that Stevens will be the next WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPION and not Blanchard. The fourth match on the night pits two fan favorites in newcomer Tiger Conway Sr. versus Magnum T.A. and both those two men look to face off with one another as they stated at a press conference... Masked Superstar vs. Nick Bockwinkel (*)The Masked Superstar at BASH AT THE BAY 10/1 defeated Magnum T.A. and he demanded a title shot for the WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP and Nick Bockwinkel the WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPION at that Special Event granted MS that shot. Those two will lock up at RIPTIDE with the winner leaving the event as the WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPION, the question is can the Masked Superstar beat Bockwinkel. Another great run of shows my friend. Very cool to see Nick Bockwinkel survive Gorgeous George at Bash at the Bay and then offer the future title shot to the Masked Superstar. That should be a heck of a title match at Riptide. I'm really enjoying the success that Ray Stevens and Tully Blanchard have been having. Either one would be an awesome upcoming challenger for the television title.
