Grant, this show was amazing. You captured Lanny Poffo and Roddy Piper perfectly. I always enjoy your write-ups, but this one is my favorite so far.

GUEST: "Cowboy" Bob Orton - Orton demands a title shot against the Iron Sheik. Sheik and Bolsheviks come out and a brawl erupts! Sheik challenges Piper & Orton to face THE BOLSHEVIKS in a NON-TITLE match next week. If Orton and Piper win, Orton will get a title shot.

STEEL CAGE MATCH
Magnificent Muraco d. Terry Gordy via escape after leveling him with the HAWAIIAN HAMMER - **** - A brutal and bloody match here! Muraco takes away the victory in this fued, leaving the, relative newcomer, Gordy a crumpled heap in the middle of the ring. Muraco and Mr. Fuji hurl insults at Gordy as the credits roll.

Mr. X with a win! Somebody cue joebreakdown! I can't believe X is going to the pay windah, if you will! Ok, it was by DQ but still he has a win over Orton. I'm really liking how you are using Piper and Orton here. Cool to see Don Muraco with the big main event win. I hear Muraco and Mr. Fuji may be getting a little more colorful in the near future  |

Orton and Piper are interesting to me because Orton has been in the fed since day 1 and has been a top contender. Piper debuted just a few cards ago. Will piper be able to live in Orton's shadow for long? It's a fun dynamic to play out. |
