Quite possibly the biggest finger snap Sudden Death fallout in CotG history. Really interesting way to cull the roster and lean up the talent.

So after 35 was something of a tumble for me, 36 is going to be so much better.....it feels more like a wrestling game than it has in a long time. Of course there's still all those questions of...where did people go and are we ever going to see them again but that's half the fun.

Chameleon Creatures? Sounds like a "Special Condition" that I probably wouldn't use. Makes me think of the Transevolver for some reason. Didn't Colossus used to mimic opponent's finishers? I never used him because of the ban on robot mechanics, so I really don't remember his card.
Wolf is STILL wrestling? Wow! I retired him in 2109 or something.
Two Commissioners? I may use that idea in my WAAF fed!
I do like the idea of the Royal Court returning. Certainly, an under-rated supergroup.
"Higgins" though, hehehee!

Just got my confirmation that it's the Best of Starter Set for later this year! Cool thing to have mentioned in there like that. Thank you for posting that news. It sounds like this set will ne released with a storyline in mind as opposed to a just a set of characters. Very nice. |

Mine came today.
Iâm gonna have Akuma lead a small faction w Mitsuko and Giant Azuma called âThe Wayâ in my Centra fed.
Might use Lt.Yusef w Saber (& the updated I.Krakan as well). I like Saber a lot!
Tank n Climber look way better. I actually like them now. Wouldâve preferred a slightly darker hair for Tank (as not to look like CWF Adam Blast or Pride).
I still use Exo-King, so Iâm gonna use the new guys by their real names. They look really cool. Exo-King shouldâve been rocking that purple & yellow. Excited for some new heroes tho.
Chameleon Creatures look cool. Innovative technique that I may use initially (like w the 3) & then just abandon the change roll all together. Too many cards to mess w as it is. 5 big COTG releases is a lot in one year. It went from one, not being enough to way too many. I spend more time redoing feds/ factions/ and totally eliminating characters than I do playing w the cards.
Basilisk is gonna be awesome to use. He might be my favorite.
Just put all my COTG ladies on the shelf due to lack of time lately, but now I may have to dig them back out w two good new female characters.
Looks much better than last years set to me.
Cool direction. The book is always good, even though I donât follow it exactly (particularly when it comes to axing wrestlers). Wish we got one every 4 months. Reading it is always one of my favorite parts of the game every year. Plenty of ideas to implement over the year.
