On the eve of the World Six-Man Tag Team Title Tournament, the championship committee of the NWA has been forced to make a few changes to the lineup.

Bruiser Brody had been partnered with Snuka and Rogers. He has since broke ties with the Superfly and has joined the Heenan Family! Brody will now team with the Vachons, taking the place of Harley Race.

USWA SUMMER SLAM Cleveland Municipal Stadium August 29, 2117
The biggest supercard of the year in the USWA -- Summer Slam -- is here! Live from Cleveland Municipal Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio.
On the USWA Glory preshow, the Sandman came to the ring and awaited his mystery opponent. He wasn't happy with who he saw coming down the aisle to funky rock music. It was the "Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant!
The Sandman wasted no time and struck before Valiant even got in the ring. Back inside the bell rang and Sandman DDTed Valiant and then blasted him with the Singapore Cane. The three-count came after that and Valiant was taken out in stunning fashion in his USWA debut.
Tag team action kicked off Summer Slam with the Killer Bees against Bob Orton Sr. & Iron Mike DiBiase. It was another excellent match between these teams with the Bees winning and Brunzell landed the dropkick on Orton.
Up next was another match between Ilio DiPaolo and one of the Impact Players, Chris Candido. The veteran DiPaolo kept Candido down on the mat and put a hurting on him. The Airplane Spin finished off Candido.
The first ever Intergender tag team match featured Ida Mae Martinez & S.D. Jones against Virgil & the Missing Link. The stipulation was if Martinez and Jones win then the Link is free to leave Virgil. Ida Mae worked for months to get the Link away from him and she beat Virgil with a series of dropkicks and the Link left with her and S.D.
A Brass Knuckles match pitted Hacksaw Jim Duggan against Konnan. Duggan has owned Konnan in their series of matches and he pummeled Konnan one more time. A final shot with the knucks finished off Konnan.
Bobo Brazil and Dan Severn faced off in a Last Man Standing match. Bobo completely dominated Severn in this one. After multiple head butts early on Bobo never gave Severn a chance to create any offense and finally Severn could not continue.
Antonino Rocca took on Justin Credible in a Singapore Cane Match. Rocca was beaten unmercifully with the cane and never got on the attack.
Gorgeous George and Greg Valentine have been trading matches across the country and it was the Hammer and King Kong Bundy that injured Koko B. Ware. George enlisted aid wherever he could and this time it was he and Mil Mascaras against Valentine & Bundy with Lou Albano. Mascaras saw little time in the ring and George took the brunt of punishment from Valentine and Bundy. It was a power slam by the big guy that ended the match.
In the first of three title matches the U.S. tag team champions the Midnight Express faced Buff Bagwell & Brutus Beefcake. The challengers had the champs in trouble several times but finally the great teamwork of the champs came through. The Rocket Launcher and then the Veg-O-Matic won the match and the MX retained the titles.
World tag team champions the Road Warriors defended against Rikidozan and Giant Baba in a Ladder Match. It was a back and forth contest but the LOD came out on top. Animal powerslammed Rikidozan off the ladder and then Hawk hit the Doomsday Device from the ladder to win the match.
In the main event, U.S. champion Nick Bockwinkel finally got his shot at the world title held by the Destroyer. Bockwinkel held the U.S. strap for nine months and made 12 title defenses before getting this opportunity. Bockwinkel took over right from the start and the Destroyer withstood both of his finishers on more than one occasion. Bockwinkel would not be denied and the Sleeper put away the Destroyer and a new world champion was crowned!
The U.S. title will now be declared vacant and the championship committee will decide on how to fill it.

Dan Severn forced George Hackenschmidt to submit to the Watigame.
In the first round of the Crockett Cup Tag Team Tournament, the world tag team champions the Road Warriors handled the team of Greg Valentine & King Kong Bundy. A powerslam by the Animal on the Hammer ended the match.

Jimmy Snuka & Buddy Rogers received a bye.
Sabu & the Sheik went after fellow ICW members Ted DiBiase & Masked Superstar. It was a cradle by Sabu off the ropes that pinned the Superstar.
The Midnight Express took over against the Japanese duo. Jim Cornette helped out numerous times and the Rocket Launcher pinned Rikidozan.
Semifinals
Snuka & Rogers vs. Race & Brody has been the headline feud of the ICW in recent months. It was another hard-hitting encounter between these teams and this time Brody got the pin on his former partner the Superfly.
The Midnight Express reached the finals over Sabu & the Sheik after hitting the Veg-O-Matic on Sabu.
2/3 Falls World Title Match
Nick Bockwinkel made his first title defense against former champion the Destroyer. The masked man fought hard but Bockwinkel stayed on top in this one. Bockwinkel used the figure four to take the first fall and not too long after that a piledriver got the three-count to retain the title.
Finals
A tremendous match between the Midnight Express and Bruiser Brody & Harley Race. The MX used their trademark double team moves while Cornette and Bobby Heenan jawed on the outside as well as helping their respective teams. It was Brody that crushed Bobby Eaton with a knee smash to get the pin and win the Crockett Cup Trophy!

Putting up the major card results for my current game year of 2118.
ROYAL RUMBLE Jan. 29, 2118
The first ever Royal Rumble is here in Anchorage, Alaska! Thirty men from both the ICW and USWA will draw numbers to determine the order they will enter the ring with another man joining the fray every two minutes.
As fans were getting settled they enjoyed a womens dark match between Reggie Bennett and Madusa Miceli. The awesome power of Bennett dominated this one as Madusa struggled to find any offense. Bennett couldn't get the win even after a top rope splash. Madusa showed power of her own with a back suplex on the outside. Madusa pulled out the win with a roll up in the corner and her feet on the ropes.
USWA Glory hosted the preshow to the Royal Rumble. From ICW the Killer Bees faced Buff Bagwell and Konnan, the men who injured Brian Blair a few weeks ago. The Bees attacked before the bell and worked over Konnan with a double elbow smash. Brunzell hit a dive to the floor sending Konnan crashing into the railing. Konnan finally got away after hitting Brunzell of the ropes. Blair quickly got a tag but Bagwell hit a double axe off the ropes and scored a quick pin on Blair.
The Royal Rumble opened with an USWA bracket world TV title tournament match between Bob Armstrong and Killer Kowalski. Kowalski looked to win in quick fashion with an elbow smash and clothesline off the second rope. After being slammed on the floor Armstrong avoided being counted out. Armstrong rallied with chops and the sleeper. It was back and forth until both men went down off the ropes. Armstrong slapped on the Figure Four and got the submission to advance in the tournament and will face Danny Hodge in the semifinals of the USWA bracket.
The ICW TV title tournament match was Ted DiBiase against his former employee in the Million $ Team Bob Orton Jr. The match started with a brawl on the floor. DiBiase used his black glove off the second rope and secured a fast pin on Orton and will now meet either Don Leo Jonathan or Ox Baker.
Ed "Strangler" Lewis looked for payback against George Hackenschmidt who no-showed a six-man tag title defense, leaving him and Jim Londos alone to lose the belts to the Dream Team and Jimmy Valiant. Lewis took over with a full nelson and neck snap but Hackenschmidt came back on the floor. Hack powered to a surprisingly easy win with the Bear Hug and then the Bolsheviks rushed in the ring and triple teamed Lewis.
Nikolai Volkoff returned to ICW with Ivan Koloff to help him against the Iron Sheik. Iron Sheik tried to use a chair before the match but it was Volkoff blasting him with it. Volkoff nailed him with a shoulder block off the middle rope and knocked out referee Tommy Young. Volkoff hammered his former partner with his fininsiher but got a win by D.Q. when the Grand Wizard attacked him outside the ring. Ivan Koloff came out again and help work over the Iron Sheik.
Up next was a Triple Threat Match between Giant Baba/Antonio Inoki, the Midnight Express and the Kangaroos. With Baba and Al Costello both down Stan Lane landed a superkick on Baba. Al used the Greek Cross on Lane but Baba saved the pin. Inoki took over on Lane then a three way brawl broke out. The Kangaroos hit the Boomerang to put away Bobby Eaton.
An Interpromotional challenge match put the U.S. tag champs Ilio DiPaolo & Antonino Rocca against I-C tag champs the Vachons. The Butcher took a beating after a dropkick by Ilio and a somersault off the apron but was not counted out. Rocca took over but Butcher got the tag after a figure four by Ilio. The match was back and forth and Ilio almost won with a small package. Rocca had the backbreaker on Mad Dog and the Butcher stormed in and was D.Q.ed.
The 2/3 Falls match between world tag team champions the Road Warriors and the Destroyer/Dan Severn combination was one of the greatest matches in wrestling history. The LOD had won by D.Q. and by C.O. in previous encounters.
The Destroyer took over on Hawk in the corner and used the boston crab and suplexes. Severn battered Hawk with firemans carry slam. Hawk fought back on the outside but the LOD didn't seem together in this one as they usually are. Animal power bombed Severn hit a flying shoulder ram before both men went down in the corner. A power slam and double sledge hammer off the ropes had Hawk in trouble and then the Figure Four by the Destroyer won the first fall.
Destroyer tried to put Hawk away again but hit the referee off the top rope. The masked man laid into Hawk with the referee out of it. Animal got back in with the ref on his feet and a spike pilderiver on Destroyer. Outside Severn came back and put the bow and arrow on Hawk with Animal making the save. Hawk made the tag but Animal missed his charge in the corner. Severn back suplexed him off the top rope and planted him with a firemans carry slam.
Animal rallied with a press slam and power slam off the 2nd rope on Severn. Severn came back on the floor and the Destroyer put the Figure Four on Animal but Hawk saved the titles again. Animal got up first after a double clothesline but Severn caught him with a piledriver. Paul Ellering kept the LOD in the match after the Wakigatame. A double boston crab on Animal still didn't get a submission. Animal caught the Destroyer with a power slam and the LOD somehow were able to hit the Doomsday Device to even the match at one fall apiece.
The Road Warriors tried to pull off the Decapitator but Destroyer got off of Animal's shoulders and both LOD members went down. Destroyer couldn't finish Animal off and Hawk came in. They spilled to the outside and the LOD leveled him with a double clotheseline.
The Destroyer came off the top rope with a dropkick and applied the boston crab. Severn then laid Hawk out one last time with the firemans carry slam and got the pin to win the world tag team titles!

Wrestlemania II Chicago, IL March 27, 2118
Professional wrestling's biggest show of the year is finally here! Welcome to the Rosemont Horizon in Chicago, Il. This is Wrestlemania II!!!
Dark Match
Princess Victoria & Malia Hosaka def. Reggie Bennett & Alexis Laree
Fans in the arena were treated to a womens tag team match before going live on the air. There has been talk of a womens division being created at some point in the future. The powerhouse Reggie Bennet pounded away on Victoria. Alexis Laree came in with ferocity, hitting multiple spears and a top rope ddt. Both teams were able to make tags and Hosaka landed a flying double chop on Laree who just made it back into the ring. After a karate kick, the Frankensteiner by Hosaka got the pin on Laree.
USWA Glory hit the air live from Wrestlemania II for a countdown to the big event.
Ida Mae Martinez def. Sherri Martel
It has been some time since these two squared off in the ring but the usual intensity. Martinez took charge from the start before Martel could pull off a pearl-harbor attack. Several flying head scissors and dropkicks gave Ida Mae the win.
Gorgeous George & Koko B. Ware def. Killer Bees
These two teams wrestled three weeks in a row on ICW Impact with no clear winner decided after splitting pins and a countout. Cherie helped George get the upper hand but he missed off the top rope. Brian Blair ran into the ring post and Koko got the three-count after a flying head butt. As the winners were leaving Chris Candido and Danny Doring charged in and began assaulting the Bees. It would appear these two are back and wanted to let people know it.
Captain Lou Albano def. Bobby "the Brain" Heenan
A big part of Wrestlemania is the matches between Albano's Army and the Heenan Family. The managers were signed to a match as well. The two exchanged dirty tactics and both showed an ability to take punishment. Albano came up with the win after using a foreign object. Don Muraco and Bob Orton Jr. came out and then decided to get some shots in on Heenan. Then the Vachons ran in and soon every member of both stables were fighting it out in a battle royal setting. Glory went off the air with officials trying to clear the ring and Wrestlemania II began!
Welcome to Wrestlemania II! What a way to start it off with an impromptu battle royal between Albano and Heenan's men. Both managers were injured in the major altercation and it is unlikely that either man will be able to come out with their charges for any matches here tonight.
Iron Sheik, Sabu, Terrible Turk def. Ivan Koloff, Nikolai Volkoff, George Hackenschmidt in an Elimination Match
A great six-man battle opened Wrestlemania. The Russians maintained control, tagging in and out. The Terrible Turk was disqualified on the outside fighting with Hackenschmidt. The Russian Bear Hug then eliminated Sabu. Before leaving, Sabu and the Iron Sheik double teamed Hack, but he was not counted out. Hackenschmidt was eliminated by the Camel Clutch. Volkoff then gave in after being nailed with the loaded boot, leaving the Iron Sheik and Ivan Koloff. The two went back and forth and then a blow off the second rope gave the Iron Sheik the pin and the win as sole survivor.
Midnight Express def. Ted DiBiase & Steve Williams
A challenge match between the USWA and ICW. A lariat by Dr. Death almost put away Stan Lane. After the figure four by DiBiase Eaton made the save, and then Cornette interfered. More shenanigans by Cornette led to Williams getting pinned. Hacksaw Jim Duggan then ran in to help Doc and DiBiase, then Dennis Condrey joined the fray.
Bruiser Brody def. Crusher
Bruiser Brody represented ICW and evened the series at 1-1 against the USWA. Brody dominated the Crusher and revelled in his hardcore tactics. The big knee drop put away the Crusher.
Harley Race def. Jimmy Valiant
The first match between Albano's Army and the Heenan Family. After a back and forth brawl Race took over the match. A top rope head butt and then the piledriver finished off the Boogie Woogie Man.
Road Warriors def. Kangaroos
A dbl clothesline by Hawk and Animal got the match going. Red Berry quickly charged in after the Doomsday Device. Animal powerslammed Costello and the Legion of Doom scored a decisive victory.
Rikidozan def. Buddy Rogers
The Nature Boy returned to action for a special challenge match with Rikidozan. The Japanese legend nearly won by countout early on. Rogers was caught off guard and the boston crab gave Rikidozan a major victory. Bob Orton Sr. came in from nowhere and helped Rogers lay a beating on Rikidozan. Orton also had not been competing in recent months until reaching the semifinals of the Family Feud tournament a week before Wrestlemania.
Mil Mascaras def. Curt Hennig 2-0 in a 2/3 Falls Match
The man of 1,000 masks exploded at the start with high-flying and then submission moves. Hennig was on the run and lost the first fall early after a cross body. After that Hennig gave Mascaras all he could handle. Hennig came back on the floor and used the Perfect Plex. Mascaras missed an elbow drop to the outside but was not counted out. Mil then kicked out of the Perfect Plex. Hennig got a shoulder up after a slingshot suplex. Mil missed a top rope splash but put a foot on the ropes. After kicking out of a running knee lift, Mascaras flew back into the ring with a cover and pinned Hennig to win the match.
Dream Team def. Ray Stevens & King Kong Bundy to retain the U.S. tag team titles
Albano's champions took on Heenan's challengers. Beefcake hammered away on Bundy and the big man went down after a double clothesline. Stevens saved Bundy and Beefcake missed in the corner. Stevens suplexed him around the ring and the Bombs Away landed. Beefcake was doubleteamed and Valentine came in for the save after the avalanche. Amidst the chaos the Hammer came up with the pin on Bundy.
Don Leo Jonathan def. Buddy Rose to retain the World TV title
Jonathan controlled the match until missing off the top rope. Jonathan came back and Rose tried to buy time. He kicked out of the Mormon Swing and then Sherri Martel interfered when he used the move again. Sherri accidentally hit Rose and Jonathan got the three-count. Martel screamed at her man, slapped him and left Rose alone.
Jim Londos def. Larry Zbyszko by D.Q. to retain the U.S. title
The living legend decided to make a statement rather than actually try to win the U.S. title. He smashed Londos with a chair just as the match started and was disqualified and continued to beat Londos after the bell.
Vachons def. Don Muraco & Bob Orton Jr. in a Chicago Street Fight to retain the I-C tag team titles
Mad Dog and Orton went back and forth until Butcher made the save after a superplex. The Hawaiian Hammer by Muraco almost ended this one. Mad Dog was in serious trouble outside the ring. He reversed and sent Muraco into the ring barrier. Butcher smashed him with a steel pipe and then the Vachons double teamed Orton. A piledriver by Mad Dog finished off Orton and Heenan's men enjoyed a win over Albano's.
Rick Rude def. Johnny Valentine to win the I-C title
Valentine had everything going his way as he sent Rude into the ring post, hit the Skullcrusher and a clothesline off the second rope. Valentine missed a big splash allowing Rude to come back. Valentine survived the Rude Awakening and he slammed the Ravishing One off the top rope. Rude kept fighting and wouldn't go down. They went in and out of the ring. Rude caught Valentine on the ropes again and then the Rude Awakening gave him the Intercontinental title.
Destroyer & Dan Severn def. Giant Baba & Antonio Inoki to retain the World tag team titles
Baba and Inoki worked over the Destroyer at the start. On the floor the Destrouyer took control. Inoki and Severn slugged it out and then a legsweep on the outside on Severn nearly ended the match by countout. The Destroyer put Baba in the figure four and the match was over.
Bobo Brazil def. the Sheik in a Stretcher Match
The level of brutality in this one far exceeded anything that was expected. Bobo was bound and determined to put an end to the Sheik anyway possible. Sheik caught Bobo with a boot in the corner and threw the fire in his face. Outside it was a double clothesline and then the Sheik hit a huge elbow smash off the apron onto the stretcher. Bobo survived the camel clutch and came back, backdropping Sheik over the top rope. Bobo hit a splash off the top onto the Sheik on the floor and both men were hurt. They were both being carried to the back when Bobo got up and renewed his assault on the Sheik. Bobo took over with his head butt. Sheik hit the post and after another head butt he was carried out of the arena on a stretcher and Bobo Brazil slumped in the ring with his hand raised in victory.
Jimmy Snuka def. Nick Bockwinkel to win the World heavyweight title
Bockwinkel tried to catch Snuka off guard but he missed and hit the corner. Snuka hit a big flying head butt but missed a clothesline and spilled to the floor. Bockwinkel used the sleeper and the figure four but it wasn't enough. Snuka smashed Bockwinkel into a table and again used the head butt. After a piledriver the Superfly came off the top with a splash and pinned Bockwinkel to win the world heavyweight title.
After the match, Harley Race entered the ring and had words with Bockwinkel. He then confronted Jimmy Snuka and proclaimed he should be the first man to challenge for the belt. Bockwinkel disagreed, but before they could come to blows Bruiser Brody stormed into the ring and blasted both men with huge clotheslines. Brody also hit Snuka with the big boot. Ray Stevens came out and appeared to be backing up Bockwinkel. The Heenan Family members got out of the ring with Brody looking for anyone to fight, and the Superfly didn't know what to think when his former partner attacked him too. Brody was also part of Heenan's stable for a time but has been increasing unpredictable and uncontrollable in recent weeks.

USWA GLORY PRESHOW
Glory opened up the big night with a pair of matches.
Ilio DiPaolo def. King Kong Bundy Ilio hit a flying shoulder block off the top to pin Bundy.
Larry Zbyszko def. Antonino Rocca The Living Legend was irate at not getting a U.S. title match tonight and instead Londos' friend Ed Lewis did. Zbyszko dominated this one and piledrove Rocca for the win.
PARADE OF CHAMPIONS
Curt Hennig def. Crusher The top two wrestlers in the USWA kicked off the Parade of Champions. It was the mat work of Hennig against the power of the Crusher. The fight went in and out of the ring. Hennig controlled things but the Cursher would fight back until the Perfect Plex ended this one.
FRANK GOTCH 10 MATCH TRIAL SERIES #1
Frank Gotch def. Buddy Rose The first of a series of matches pitting Frank Gotch against the top 10 wrestlers in the USWA. Rose fought off the leg work by Gotch who used the figure four and the rolling knee bar to set up the Toe Hold. Rose hung in there, helped out by a foreign object, but finally the Toe Hold was too much for him to withstand.
Princess Victoria def. April Hunter to retain the womens championship A rematch from the finals of the Queen's Cup Tournament. It went a lot like the first time with Victoria able to nail some high risk moves on Hunter like a moonsault to the floor. Hunter's power advantage saved her at times but the champ maintained the offense and won after a second rope leg drop.
U.S. Tag champs the Dream Team def. the Armstrongs by D.Q. The Armstrongs were ready for their title shot and kept Brutus Beefcake in trouble until Brad slammed into the corner ring post. The match went back and forth with near countouts, disqualifications and pinfalls. It was Bob Armstrong that got DQed on the outside.
Danny Hodge def. Don Leo Jonathan to win the World TV title This was a super technical back and forth match. DLJ was able to match dropkicks with Hodge and both men kept up a sustained offense. Fortune smiled on Hodge when Jonathan hit the turnbuckle headfirst and Hodge covered him for the three count.
During intermission there were problems in the back with Brody and Snuka looking for each other and brawling around the building. The board decided that this would be an unsanctioned match and it would take place inside a steel cage. They also decided that the world title would not be on the line but the original loser leaves town stipulation would still be in effect.
Valiants def. the Road Warriors in a Texas Death Match The Valiants stood toe to toe with the Legion of Doom. After much carnage in and out of the ring a low blow by Johnny Valiant gave Jimmy his chance. After a shot with the chair Jimmy beat Animal with the Sleeper.
Ed Lewis def. Jim Londos to win the U.S. title As expected these two traqded moves and counters on the mat. Lewis continually came back with the full nelson and head lock. Finally the grueling pressure of the headlock wore out Londos.
Kangaroos def. Giant Baba & Antonio Inoki to retain the World Tag Team titles This was a 2/3 Falls match. Baba missed a charge in the corner and was abruptly hit with the Boomerang and pinned. Inoki applied the Octopus and then blasted Costello with the Enzuigiri to even the match. The Kangaroos started a four-way brawl and then used the Boomerang on Inoki to end the match.
Nick Bockwinkel & Ray Stevens def. Harley Race & Larry Hennig This was an Elimination match. The two teams were tremendous in their double team moves and making tags when they needed. Race was hit from behind and Bockwinkel beat him with the piledriver. That left Hennig alone and it didn't take long for Bockwinkel & Stevens to finish him off.
Jimmy Snuka def. Bruiser Brody in a Steel Cage match Bruiser Brody is now out of work for 90 days! Snuka took some punishment but kept dishing it back to Brody. The Superfly was on a mission in this one to be done with Brody once and for all. Snuka did just that with a flying head butt for the pin.

The Cauliflower Cup Tournament Pittsburgh, PA May 29, 2118
The second annual Cauliflower Cup Tournament takes on even more importance this year as it is for the vacant NWA World heavyweight title. One year ago Mil Mascaras def. the Destroyer in the final to win trophy. The man who can outlast 15 other wrestlers will earn the right to wear the coveted championship belt.
USWA Glory
Madusa Miceli def. April Hunter
An important rankings match between ICW and the USWA. Madusa came away with a fast win after a top rope dropkick.
Masked Superstar def. Killer Kowalski
The series between these two started at Pain & Punishment when they were the last men left in the double ring battle royal. The Superstar picked up the win after a spinning neckbreaker.
Frank Gotch def. Anonio Inoki
This was No. 4 in the Frank Gotch 10 Match Trial Series. An amazing technical display by both grapplers. Inoki could not stand anymore after Gotch repeatedly used the rolling knee bar and took the win with the Toe Hold.
The Cauliflower Cup
Round 1
(1) Johnny Valentine def. (16) Greg Valentine
There is a lot of history between the father and son that squared off in the opening match. They were the first ever World tag team champions. In October of 2116 they won the inaugural Crockett Cup tag team tournament. It was a month later in Japan where the Valentines broke up and a bitter feud started between father and son that saw Johnny def. Greg in a Dog Collar match at Starrcade 2116. In April of 2117 Johnny and Don Leo Jonathan took the tag team belts from Greg and Brutus Beefcake and beat the Dream Team again at the Parade of Champions in a Lumberjack Match.
The Hammer just last week won the World TV title and the right to be in this tournament, while his father won the I-C strap for the second time also last week.
Greg had his dad hurt with the shoulder breaker and was able to get the Figure Four applied. Johnny fought back and beat his son with the Skullcrusher.
(12) Iron Sheik def. (5) Bobo Brazil
These two definitely know each other as Bobo was forced to fight the Iron Sheik along with the original Sheik and the rest of his mob. Just two weeks ago both men were involved in the War Games match at Pain & Punishment.
The Iron Sheik attacked before the bell and put Bobo in the Camel Clutch. Bobo never got things turned around and the Iron Sheik scored a major upset by submission with the Camel Clutch.
(7) Mil Mascaras def. (10) Jim Londos
Mascaras stayed in charge all the way and came at Londos from every direction. Londos got the Airplane Spin but Mascaras won with the top rope splash.
(14) Don Leo Jonathan def. (3) Curt Hennig
These two exchanged moves and Hennig got the Perfect Plex on DLJ. Jonathan took the match with the Mormon Swing.
(4) Rick Rude def. (13) Crusher
Rude and the Crusher fought back and forth and went in and out of the ring. The Rude Awakening ended the night for the Crusher.
(8) Harley Race vs. (9) Nick Bockwinkel
Two former Heenan Family Members have been feuding since Wrestlemania II. The went through a war at Pain & Punishment in a Last Man Standing match. This time it was a lot shorter as after brawling on the floor Race planted Bockwinkel with the piledriver and won the match.
(6) Rikidozan vs. (11) George Hackenschmidt
Rikidozan proved to be too much for Hackenschmidt, at least on this occasion. Rikidozan was all over the Russian with hip locks and then his big chops scored the pin.
(2) Ed Lewis def. (15) Steve Williams
This one was a great match between two very big and powerful men. Lewis, the U.S. champion, weathered the storm against Dr. Death. Williams was in control most of the time but Lewis came out on top with the full nelson.
Quarterfinals
Johnny Valentine def. Iron Sheik
This is another match the fans have seen a lot. At Starrcade 2117 Valentine took the I-C strap from the Iron Sheik in a Lumberjack Match. This one was nothing but a slugfest and Valentine won again with the Skullcrusher.
Mil Mascaras def. Don Leo Jonathan
Mascaras stayed away from the power of Jonathan and won another match by coming off the top rope.
Harley Race def. Rick Rude
A match no one ever thought would happen when these two were members of the Heenan Family. Rude and the rest of the team have not gotten involved in the problems between Race and Bockwinkel. Rude stayed with the former world champion but after both men were down after hitting the ropes Race won again with the Piledriver.
Rikidozan def. Ed Lewis
Lewis only applied his headlock once to the Japanese superstar. Rikidozan beat the U.S. champion after a piledriver and his famous chops.
NWA Womens Championship Match Sherri Martel def. Princess Victoria to win the title
Sherri Martel would not be denied after earning her title shot. She was all over the champion. A big knee lift, leg drop and then the top rope splash finished off Victoria.
Semifinals
Mil Mascaras def. Johnny Valentine
Mascaras moved on to the finals by beating the I-C champion with a missile dropkick and then his patented top rope crossbody.
Harley Race def. Rikidozan
Race reached the championship match, something he and Bockwinkel have been fighting over for months. Race dished it out to Rikidozan and finally downed the Japanese legends with the Piledriver.
NWA World Tag Team Title Match Kangaroos def. Vachons to retain the titles
The Kangaroos faced the I-C tag team champions. The Vachons didn't give them much of a fight in their long-awaited title match. Al Costello beat the Butcher with his leglock.
Finals
Mil Mascaras def. Harley Race to win the World heavyweight title
These two are very familiar with one another. At Starrcade 2116 Mascaras took the gold from Race. It was in the spring of the next year, after Mascaras lost the belt and regained it, that Race took it back at the Parade of Champions.
Race held the advantage for most of the match with head butts and suplexes. Mascaras kept coming back and forced Race to submit to the octopus hold to become a three-time world heavyweight champion.
