Funny that WWE ignored EC3 while he was there but soon as he leaves Shane watches his videos and uses them for ideas. Plus you have the old TNA cage dancers minus the cages. Hopefully EC3 can put out something that WWE creative can copy without ruining.

The entire concept is dumb and pointless. I can't tell if it was a one-night thing to get the Hurt Business over or if it will be ongoing.
Also, is the WWE promoting a group that is basically ANTIFA a smart move right now? I thought maybe it was going to end up being UE from NXT, but there's 5 of them (from the video where they "firebombed" the electrical box).
All that, along with Montez Ford's "poisoning" made for a weird night.

Yea I said on twitter they were American ninjas but as bad as that was it was better than my other thought. Rioters was what I was thinking. Seeing Vince is friends with Trump I can see him doing this and making them bad and stupid. Like the real rioters only worse.
I stand corrected. It seems Shane AND EC3 were copying Chikara. At least EC3 did it as a small plot point in his video.

I've watched what WWE posted of the Raw Underground segments. Dumb all the way around. And after seeing that Chikara clip, wow is that a direct rip off... Thought it was funny that all the spectators of this "underground" fight were wearing masks. "We'll watch men beat the crap out of each other in unsanctioned street fights but we will do it in a socially conscious way." Other than that, those segments with the constant thump of the music, the guys pounding their fists on the ring and Shane's annoying half commentary were terrible.
Also on Raw, it was advertised that a new faction would be debuting. The only "faction" that debuted was the group that Molotov cocktailed the generator outside the building. So... WWE apparently knew that this group was going to do this in advance so they advertised it on their social media?
Alvarez and Melzer were comparing this stuff to 2000 WCW levels of bad. I don't know... I think I'd rather watch 2000 WCW again than this junk. They have tons of talent right now but no care in the world for how that talent is used. Storylines start and stop almost weekly.

Yeah, I saw Killer Kross on Facebook last night comparing RAW Underground to GCW's Bloodsport shows and his own Natural Born Killers shows that he helped FSW produce here in Las Vegas. But unlike Bloodsport or Natural Born Killers, RAW Underground was just awful. |
