1) 2 Cold Scorpio defeated The Mountie by Disqualification in 6:15 when Mountie used the Shock Stick.
-Unusual start to the match. Scorpio came out to the ring looking worse for wear and The Mountie quickly took advantage jumping him before the bell. He continued to press the advantage and hit a short choke slam for a two count. Scorpio rallied and turned the tables with some aerial tactics. Out of desperation the officer hit a low blow and used his Shock Stick. The ref saw the infraction and called for the bell. Security rushed to the ring to check on Scorpio and to keep the Canadian from inflicting more damage.

2) "The Beast" Dan Severn (w/Jim Cornette) defeated Super Crazy with a German suplex in 7:09.
-Severn was very aggressive and tried to keep the Mexican star grounded. Severn used a variety of throws and strikes to soften up his opponent for a German suplex into a bridge that got the three count. After the match he continued to stomp away and relented when Cornett told him it was enough.

3) "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff pinned Eddie Kingston with the Jumping Piledriver in 8:21.
-Kingston was a tough opponent to put away and gave Orndorff quite a battle. The grizzled vet put away the New York native with hit patented piledriver for the victory.

Bill Apter's HOT SEAT (w/ The Patriot)
BA: Welcome to Pro Wrestling USA everyone. How are you enjoying the action so far? (Crowd pops) Well we have more action coming up but before we get there I'd like to bring out my first guest for a recurring segment on this program and that's The Patriot.

P: Thank you Bill. It's my pleasure to be here and a honor to represent the Red, White, and Blue.

BA: Of course. Would you like to tell the fans what your goals are here in Pro Wrestling USA.

P: My goal is like any wrester, to prove that I'm the best and next month there will be an 8 Man One-Night only tournament to be held in Wilmington, Delaware and the winner will be the first PW USA Heavyweight champion. Now I think it would only make sense for me to be the first title holder.

BA: Well, there will be plenty of stiff competition for that coveted prize but I'm sure you will give it your all.

P: Always sir. I plan on showing everyone just what America can do.

4) Ivan Koloff defeated Sting with an Attack with chain in 11:28.
-The California native was on fire early in this one. Late in the match Eddie Gilbert came out to ringside and was able to distract Sting and it allowed Koloff to gain the upper hand. Gilbert kept the ref busy and Koloff used his Russian chain to hit the Stinger across the throat and gain a tainted victory. It didn't stop there as Gilbert and Koloff engaged in a two on one and they hit a spike piledriver on a steel chair. The Patriot rushed out along with security to clear the scene.
*Sting is injured for 6 match cards

-Main Event-
5) Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton & Stan Lane) (w/ Jim Cornette) beat The Fabulous Freebirds (Michael Hayes & Terry Gordy) (w/Buddy Roberts) by Disqualification in 12:09 when Roberts was caught interfering.
-A classic tag team match as these two teams engaged in a back and forth struggle. Cornette used his racket several times without the ref being able to spot him. Roberts then started chasing the pudgy manager and they eventually ended up in the ring. Roberts hit Lane with a right hand while the match was going on and the official called for the bell.

Fed Notes:
-It was determined after the show that 2 Cold Scorpio was attacked in the locker room before his match with The Mountie. Who perpetrated such an act? Hopefully we get more answers next show.
-The Stinger will be out six fight cards after the horrific double team from Eddie Gilbert and Ivan Koloff. But why? Perhaps next show Gilbert and Koloff will answer for their actions. In the meantime, The Patriot has challenged the Russia Bear to settling things in the ring next show.

1) "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert beat Eddie Kingston by Disqualification in 6:12 when Gilbert ducked and he accidentally hit the ref.
-A decent back and forth match. Kington whipped Gilbert to the turnbuckle and went to charge in. Gilbert dodged and put the ref in his path instead. Kingston slammed into the him. The two continued to fight with Kingston landing some stiff shots. Ivan Koloff hit the ring and attacked the New York native from behind to start a 2 on1 situation. The Patriot made the save to even the odds and beat the heels back. When the official regained clarity he called for the bell and gave the match to Gilbert.

2) The Mountie & "King Kong" Mosca defeated "Polish Power" Ivan Putski & The Crusher by Disqualification in 9:22.
-Mosca and The Montie used double teams and illegal tactics to isolate Putski. Crusher had enough and hit the ring with a fury. He landed Bolo punches all around but since the ref culd no longer control the situation he disqualified "The Man who made Milwaukee famous."

3) Lex Luger defeated "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff by Count-out in 10:54.
A very good match between these two. Luger hit a Flying forearm smash to Orndorff while he was on the floor. He knocked him cold and was able to slide back into the ring before the ref reached ten.

Bill Apter's HOT SEAT (w/2 Cold Scorpio)
BA: If you watched the show in Baltimore then you saw this man in the very first match in Pro Wrestling USA. My guest today is 2 Cold Scorpio.
Now Scorp, you got your hand raised but you had a host of problems on Card #1. What can you tell us?

2CS: Well Bill, let me say first that the Mountie is gonna get what's coming to him. He pulled out a shock stick and zapped yours truly. That ain't 'rasslin. So he's gonna have to pay for that.

BA: I'm sure. Now I understand that we got reports after the match that you had been attacked in the dressing room before you went out to compete!?

2CS: No doubt. I was getting ready to make my way out to the ring and I felt a sharp pain in the back of my head. I have no idea who it was.

BA: Well, hopefully we will be able to get to the bottom of this situation...

(A masked man ran up behind Scorpio and slammed a steel chair into his head. Scorpio quickly fell to the ground.)
BB: Did it feel like that?

BA: What's going on here? I'm trying to do an interview here. Security!

(The masked man grabs the mic from Apter and removes his mask...it's Buff Bagwell)
BB: Scorpio you and I have some unfinished business. But I can wait.

(Bagwell leaves while security attempts to restore order and medical personnel attend to Scorpio.)

4) The Fabulous Freebirds (Michael Hayes, Terry Gordy, & Buddy Roberts) defeated Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton & Stan Lane) & Dan Severn (w/Jim Cornette) when Gordy pinned Eaton after a Power Bomb in 12:09.
-An exciting six-man match that saw a very interesting finish. After a double clothesline Gordy went for the cover but Severn ran in to break the count. He charged towards Gordy who dodged and he hit Eaton who stumbled to his feet. Hayes pulled the top rope down and the Beast flew over top. Gordy then planted Eaton in the center of the ring with a Power Bomb for the three count.

-Main Event-
5) The Patriot defeated Ivan Koloff (w/Eddie Gilbert) with Uncle Slam in 13:42.
The masked man rallied and hit his Patriot Missile off the top rope. Gilbert jumped on the apron and the ref quickly went to attempt to get him down. Gilbert grabbed the ref and tried to continue to distract the pin but the Patriot used a forearm to knock him to the floor. Koloff tried to attack from behind but instead was caught with the Uncle Slam for the victory.

Fed Notes:
-So now we know who attacked 2 Cold Scorpio in the dressing room, his old tag team partner Buff Bagwell. Commissioner Cox was quick to sign a match between these two set for February 17 in Wilmington.
-The eight men who are scheduled to compete for the PWUSA Heavyweight Title in Wilmington will be released soon so stay tuned.

EG: You know there are people out there wondering why Ivan Koloff and myself injured Sting. Why did we put him out of wrestling? The answer is simple Sting. Let's go back to when you were a rookie in this sport. You were greener than a pepper tree and you had this jacked up body and didn't know what to do with it. And I saw that you had potential. I took you under my wing and I molded you into a champion. But what did you do? You went out on your own. No thank you. No gratitude. I made you son and if I can make you I can destroy you too and that's just what we did.

IK: You see Sting you are like most weak Americans. You expect for things to come easy. You want things handed to you on a silver platter. It was never easy for me growing up in Russia. I had fight and claw for everything I got. And so now you lay in a hospital bed as a reminder of your arrogance.

EG: Ivan Koloff is one of the true legends in this sport. An icon. So it's my pleasure to align myself with him. He is the first signing of Hot Stuff International and be warned that he's only the first and there will be others. So let's turn our attention to The Patriot. A man who hides his face and that makes me wonder just what you're hiding? Do you have a criminal record? Are you wanted in ten states? Whatever the case may be you will go down to defeat to Ivan and myself later today.

IK: And as for Lex Luger I know that you are friends with Sting. You are here to avenge your friend. Unfortunately for you, you will end up just the same as him. Hurt and out of work. I have something special for you. (wraps Russian chain around his arm)

1) Super Crazy beat The Mountie by Disqualification in 7:25 when he used the Shock Stick.
-Once again the Mountie used his Shock Stick and the ref was unable to see it the first time. When he tried to use it a second time, the ref saw the infraction and gave the match to the high flying luchador.

2) Buff Bagwell beat Eddie Kingston by Count-Out in 9:24.
-Bagwell displayed superior agility and hit his finish but Kingston kicked out at 2 3/4. Frustrated he tossed his to the floor and hit a Double-Arm DDT. The ref counted ten and Bagwell raised his hands in the air. 2 Cold Scorpio rushed the ring and a brawl began between the two that required security to pull them apart.

P: Eddie Gilbert I don't even want to say your name right now. To think that you would throw in with someone like Ivan Koloff just makes me sick to my stomach. I'll be glad to beat a little patriotism into you later tonight.

LL: Let me talk about Sting for a moment. He ad I have been rivals and we've been tag team partners and I will say this that I have a great deal of respect for the man. So when I saw what happened I knew that I had to be on the side that would help avenge him. Don't worry he'll be back in a few months and the beating that he has planned for both of you is going to be epic. But tonight you'll have to deal with The Patriot and the Total Package and you will more than have your hands full. (Luger flexes)

3) The Crusher beat "King Kong" Mosca by Disqualification in 7:56.
-The bout went to the floor and Mosca threw his opponent into the steel rails. The ref followed to try and get the match back in the ring but he was pushed aside by King Kong. The ref called for the bell and Ivan Putski and The Mountie joined the fray. Mosca and Mountie headed to the back and the Polish tandem was getting better of the situation.

4) "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton (w/Jim Cornette) beat Micheal "P.S." Hayes with Divorce Court in 10:18.
-Buddy Roberts joined Hayes at ringside mid-match to help combat the antics from Cornette. He eventually chased the manager around the ring and in the chaos Eaton used the trademark Tennis Racket and then hit the Divorce Court for the pinfall.

Bill Apter's HOT SEAT (w/Paul Orndorff)
BA: Hello fans and welcome to another edition of the Hot Seat. My guest today is an international superstar who has wrestled all over the world. "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff!
PO: Well it's your pleasure Apter to have such an accomplished professional such as myself on this segment today.
BA: Your accolades are known far and wide but I wonder if you could tell the fans just what you hope to accomplish in Pro Wrestling USA?
PO: It's very simple, so simple that these hillbillies in the audience will be able to understand. I deserve a title. With titles come money and with money comes respect. All of these things will be accomplished by Mr. Wonderful after February 17th. I intend to run through the Heavyweight tournament like a hot knife through butter.
BA: What about Lex Luger? Do you see him as a challenge to that goal?
PO: What about him? He thinks he's a bodybuilder. He's doesn't have half the body I have but he does have half the brains. If we meet in the ring again, he won't stop me from getting what I want. This interview is over.

-Main Event-
5) The Patriot & Lex Luger defeated "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert & Ivan Koloff when Patriot pinned Gilbert with a Leg Drop in 12:52.
-All four men were in the ring and the faces reversed an attempted whip into each other. Koloff was sent into the turnbuckle while Gilbert crashed to the mat. The masked man quickly pounced with a Leg Drop and got the pinfall.

St. Valentine's Day Massacre

Pro Wrestling USA Heavyweight Title Tournament

First Round:

1) Ivan Koloff (w/Eddie Gilbert) beat Lex Luger by Disqualification in 8:44.
-Luger looked in control most of the match. A powerslam led to Gilbert jumping up on the apron to keep a count from happening. The ref was busy trying to keep Gilbert away from the action and meanwhile Koloff grabbed the Russian chain from his corner. Luger blocked a clothesline attempt with it and took the chain away from his opponent. Just then the official noticed Luger with the chain as he nailed Koloff with it. He called for the bell and the Russian advanced.

2) "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff defeated The Crusher with a Jumping Piledriver in 9:12.
-The match had a bit of controversy as Crusher went charging into the turnbuckle at Orndorff and ran into the ref instead. After a few minutes a new official came into the ring as the first was still being tended to by medical personnel. Orndorff used the chaos to land a low blow on the Milwaukee native and then drop him on his head for the three count.

3) The Patriot defeated "The Beast" Dan Severn (w/Jim Cornette) with the Patriot Missile in 10:35.
-Even match until the masked man caught the UFC original with Uncle Slam. He went for the cover and Jim Cornette attempted to step into the ring but Patriot cut him off and shoved him thru the ropes. He then went to the top rope and crashed into Severn who was was wobbly rising to his feet. One..two..three.

4) The Mountie beat Terry Gordy by Disqualification in 12:08.
-Gordy had the match all but won as he punished the back of his foe with several Power Bombs. Mountie rolled to the outside after the last one. Gordy Got too excited and slammed him into the ringpost and the ref did not appreciate the viciousness of the move and called for the bell.

-Grudge Match-
5) Buff Bagwell beat 2 Cold Scorpio with a Double Arm DDT in 15:42.
-Quite a contest between former tag partners. Scorpio hit "The Diss that Don't Miss" four consecutive times and then when he went for the cover Bagwell weakly moved his left leg to the ropes to break the count. Frustrated he picked up up and Buff hit a low blow and then a DDT and got a surprise three count. He may have won but he didn't look like a winner.

Semi-Finals:

6) Ivan Koloff (w/Eddie Gilbert) beat "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff" with a Falling face slam in 11:44.
-A rare heel vs. heel match where the fans were behind Orndorff. Gilbert played a role in the outcome again and distracted Orndorff so his charge could attack him from behind and pick up a ticket to the finals.

7) The Patriot pinned The Mountie with Uncle Slam in 6:55.
-The pride of America made short work of his opponent and rode some major momentum into the finals.

-Falls Count Anywhere-
8) Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton & Stan Lane) (w/Jim Cornette) beat Fabulous Freebirds (Michael Hayes & Buddy Roberts) when Lane pinned Hayes after a Rocket Launcher in 13:10.
-A violent match that was in and out of the ring. The Express were a bit too much and the win after a tennis racket shot by Eaton that set up the Launcher for the win.

Finals:
9) Ivan Koloff (w/Eddie Gilbert) beat The Patriot with Russian Bearhug in 18:46 to capture the title.
-The Patriot had the fans cheering him and he seemed poised for a win. He hit the Missile shoulder off the top and Gilbert ran into the ring to break up the count. The ref ejected him for the rest of the match but it allowed Koloff to recover and attack the Patriot from behind and then clamp on the Bearhug. Finally he passed out from the pain after fighting for several minutes. The fans were not happy with the result.

Fed Notes:
-What a night of action. Ivan Koloff was crowned the first PW USA Heavyweight champion and it's safe to say that Eddie Gilbert played a large role in it. The Patriot has already petitioned for a re-match and he will get it on March 31st.
-The Buff Bagwell-2 Cold Scorpio rivalry is far from over. Scorpio didn't get the win but he did batter Bagwell from pillar to post. Bagwell won the battle but the war may just be starting.
-Midnight Express got the best of the Freebirds. Cornette's team has to be the odds on favorites to take the PW USA Tag Team titles which will be decided over the next few shows.

EG: What did I tell you? What did I tell every single one of you. This man is a true legend. He's the man that dropped Bruno Sammartino and now you can add The Patriot to the list of men that he's defeated. He's the champion and it will be that way for a very long time.

IK: That is correct. The road to Moscow is always paved in gold. Patriot how does it feel to have failed, not only in your quest to become a champion but to fail your country? You let a sworn enemy of your native land defeat you for a prize that bears your country's flag. You should hide your head in shame. The name Koloff has always be associated with class and superiority. This belt is mine and it doesn't matter who it is - Lex Luger, Patriot anyone who wants a chance to take this from me will will meet the same fate. I am the champion. All hail the name Ivan Koloff!

1) "Polish Power" Ivan Putski beat "King Kong" Mosca with the Polish Hammer in 9:45.
-The two matched power for much of the contest. On a reversal to the turnbuckle the ref took a hard shot and fell to the ground. Mosca slipped an object into his elbow pad and when he went for the kill shot on Putski he ducked and his arm slammed into the buckle. Putski then whipped himself off the ropes and hit his trademark double sledge Hammer to the chest. A groggy ref counted three and Putski was the victor.

-USPW Tag Team Tournament- First Round Match-
2) The Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton & Stan Lane) (w/Jim Cornette) defeated The Lightning Express (Brad Armstrong & Tim Horner) when Lane pinned Horner after a Flapjack in 10:21.
-Armstrong hit a flurry of dropkicks on Eaton and then quick tagged to Horner who kept the advantage going. Cornette tripped Horner off the ropes and it swung the advantage to his team. Several double team moves later and the Veg-O-Matic looked like it put things away but Armstrong made the save. As the ref led him back out to his corner, the Midnights hit the Flapjack that ended the bout.

Bill Apter's HOT SEAT (w/Buff Bagwell)
BA: Hey fans. I hope you are al enjoying the great action here in Pro Wrestling USA! My guest for today is someone who burst on to the scene on this very program. Ladies and gentlemen Buff Bagwell.
BB: I'm rough. I'm tough, and the girls just can't get enough! Bill Apter I am someone who says what he does and does what he says and everyone saw it at St. Valentine's Massacre that I beat Scorpio in the middle of the ring.
BA: Very true. Not the most honorable of victories. But I think everyone wants to know why you've attacked 2 Cold Scorpio? What has gotten between you two?
BB: You don't talk trash and not expect to get called out for it. I've heard you Scorpio. I've heard the things you said about me saying that I was the weak link on our team and that I was garbage. Well you were looking at the lights in Delaware. How ya like that?!

(2 Cold Scorpio walks out.)
BB: This is my interview time. No one wants to see a loser like you.
2CS: I'm no done with you yet. I beat you like a dog the last time we met but I have a challenge for you. Since you are such a great wrestler and competitor you'll have no problem accepting this match. First to Ten Falls-Iron Man Challenge. You and Me. No DQ. No Count-out. No excuses.
BB: I've got nothing left to prove to you or anyone else.
2CS: If I lose I will shake your hand and call you the better man. I'd except you to do the same but I won't hold my breath.
BB: Ok..you've got it.

BA: You heard it here first fans. Now back to the action.

-USPW Tag Team Tournament First Round Match-
3) "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff & Jesse "The Body" Ventura defeated The Fabulous Freebirds (Michael Hayes & Buddy Roberts) when Orndorff pinned Hayes with a Piledriver in 11:21.
-The debuting Orndorff and Ventura proved to be a formidable combination. The Freebirds were out quick isolating the Body and using double team moves. Ventura kicked Roberts off the ropes with an attempted back drop and the tide turned. Later in the match, Ventura slammed Hayes into the ringpost and the ref was distracted by Jim Cornette who decided to walk down to ringside. The Body rolled him back in and Orndorff used his finisher to grab a bit of an upset over the birds from Badstreet.

4) "Bam Bam" Terry Gordy and "The Beast" Dan Severn (w/Jim Cornette) fought to a Double-Disqualification in 7:23.
-Quite a matchup between two bulls of the ring. The match went to the outside and neither would heed the ref's instructions so the bell was called for. The two kept fighting until officials and security were called from the back to restore order.

-Main Event- No DQ- No Count-Out-
5) The Mountie defeated Super Crazy with a Short Choke Slam in 13:37.
-Crazy was hoping for a measure of revenge in this one but came up short. A failed Suicide Dive helped Rougeau gain control. He used the Shock Stick which was legal in this bout and then a choke slam to get the win.

Fed Notes:
-Buff Bagwell versus 2 Cold Scorpio in a First to Ten Falls Iron Man Match has been signed for April 21st in Cherry Hill, New Jersey for "Sunday Bloody Sunday".
This should be a tremendous test of stamina and courage as there will be No-Time Limit for this encounter.
-The Midnight Express and Paul Orndorff and Jesse Ventura advanced in the PWUSA Tag Team Title tournament. The finals are set for April 21st in New Jersey.

1) "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff pinned Tim Horner with a Jumping Piledriver in 7:32.
-Horner kept things interesting for a bit but Orndorff was just too much for him. He dropped the Tennessee native on his noggin for the three count.

-USPW Tag Team Tournament First Round Match-
2) The Crusher & "Polish Power" Ivan Putski defeated "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert & Ivan Koloff when Putski pinned Gilbert with the Polish Hammer in 11:09.
-The finish saw all four men in the ring. Koloff went for a Russian sickle and Crusher ducked sending him to the floor. This left Gilbert alone to take a Bolo punch from Crusher and then was flattened by Putski with his signature Hammer to advance in the tournament.

3) Jesse "The Body" Ventura beat 2 Cold Scorpio with the Body Breaker in 8:44 after a distraction by Buff Bagwell.
-Scorpio hit a flip legdrop for a two count and went to the top rope. Bagwell walked out and started jawing with Scorpio who stepped off the apron and started to go after Buff. The ref stopped him from stepping outside the ring. Ventura recovered hitting a double sledge and then throwing him over his shoulder. In the center of the ring, Scorpio went limp and the ref rang the bell. Bagwell laughed as he left the scene.

BA: Hello fans and I'm here with the one the remaining teams left in the PWSA Tag Team tournament - Bobby Eaton and Stan Lane - The Midnight Express and as always...
JC: Hold it Apter you bald geek. I'm about as thrilled to be here as sitting in a dentist's chair. But I can understand why you'd want to have the best tag team in the world here on your little segment. BA: I'd like to know your thoughts on the Fabulous Freebirds. You seem to have quite the rivalry brewing here in PWUSA.
JC: Hold on a second. A rivalry means that that gutter trash called the Jailbirds would be in our league which they are not. They can't beat us and they know it. In fact they aren't even in the tag team tournament anymore.
BA: That's true but I like to ask you then why you feel the need to interject yourself into your team's matches. Are you not confident that they can win on their own abilities?
JC: What?! Are you disparaging my character? The Midnight Express don't need any kind of chicanery to win matches and you need to change your attitude or myabe I'll have the Beast do it for you.
(Severn starts to advance on Apter who pleads for mercy. With that The Fabulous Freebirds hit the scene and a pier six brawl erupts that they eventually get the upper hand of as the heels retreat to the locker room.)

-USPW Tag Team Tournament First Round Match-
4) "King Kong" Mosca & The Mountie beat The Patriot & Lex Luger by Disqualification in 13:27 when Luger pushed the official.
-This was a very even contest between these two teams. The action spilled to the outside and Luger couldn't contain his competitive fire and he pushed the ref to be able to continue the punishment on Mosca. The ref lost control and called for the bell.

-Main Event - No DQ - No Count-Out-
5) Eddie Kingston beat Buff Bagwell when Bagwell charged face first into the turnbuckle in 9:32.
-Scorpio got Bagwell back in this one and distracted his foe into a huge mistake. He charged at Kingston who moved out of the way and then hit a schoolboy roll-up for the win. Kingston slid out of the ring celebrated with the fans and Scorpio as Bagwell kicked the ropes and complained.

1) "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert defeated Super Crazy with the Hot Shot in 6:11.
-Crazy was in control early with multiple aerial tactics. He crashed and burned from a Triple Moonsault attempt and Gilbert gained the advantage. Crazy reversed a whip into the ropes and hit a Leaping DDT for a 2 1/2 count. Crazy went for the finish but Gilbert ducked under and caught him with the Hot Shot for a well earned victory. As Gilbert stood up and raised his hands high he was quickly hit with a flurry of fists. It was Sting!!! The Stinger hit his splash into the corner and then a clothesline out of it. He then rolled out of the ring and Sting beat his chest. Then he took the mic.

"I've been waiting a long time old friend. You've got paybacks comin'! Owwwwwww!"

-USPW Tag Team Tournament -Semi-Finals-
2) "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff & Jesse "The Body" Ventura defeated The Crusher & "Polish Power" Ivan Putski when Orndorff pinned Putski with the Jumping Piledriver in 9:02.
-The ref was distracted as Ventura slammed Putski into the cornerpost on the outside. He rolled him back in to the waiting Orndorff who dropped him on his head. Crusher attempted a pin save but was cut off by The Body. Orndorff and Ventura posed for the crowd and gloated over their victory to the jeering crowd.

3) "The Beast" Dan Severn (w/Jim Cornette) beat Michael Hayes (w/Terry Gordy) by Disqualification in 8:35 when Gordy interfered on the outside.
-Severn used several throws to control the action. A violent brawl erupted on the outside of the ring between the two and while Severn had the advantage he goaded Gordy into throwing a punch. Gordy obliged and the ref called for the bell as a fight between Severn and Gordy raged to the locker room area. Several security personnel came out to help restore order.

Bill Apter's HOT SEAT (w/ The Fabulous Freebirds)
BA: Hello wrestling fans and welcome to another edition of the HOT SEAT. Today my guests are one of the greatest three man teams of all time and of course I'm talking about Michael Hayes, Buddy Roberts, and Terry Gordy.
MH: Hey Apter. Listen up. Everybody just saw what my brother Bam Bam did to that ugly punk Severn. If he can get him in a ring he'll show everyone what a Freebird can really do.
TG: That's right you know. Dan Severn you're used to fighting cages, well I've been fighting in the streets my entire life. So why don't you take a walk down Badstreet my friend and see what it's all about.
BR: It doesn't matter who it is because we will get the job done. I do know that personally I'd like to get my hands around the neck of that weasel Jim Cornette.

(Jim Cornette walks out.)
JC: Hold on. Hold on. I came out by myself just to issue a challenge. Sunday Bloody Sunday is coming up and I already have my lawyers drafting up papers for the match between Dan Severn and Terry Gordy but I noticed that you two degenerates don't have opponents. I mean the Midnight Express would be glad to whup you two again but no doubt they will be in the Finals for the PWUSA Tag Team titles after we take care of the Canadian Border Patrol later today. So I'll offer this I have a mystery team that will challenge you two and if by the grace of God you happen to win. Buddy Roberts you want me then you will get me in a ring one on one.
BR: I like the sound of that!
MH: We don't care who the mystery men are, we don't back down from nothin'. You get the contracts and we will sign'em.

BA: You heard it here fans. Sunday Bloody Sunday is shaping up to be a barnburner!

-PWUSA Tag Team Title Tournament- Semi-Finals-
4) Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton & Stan Lane) (w/Jim Cornette) defeated Canadian Border Patrol (The Mountie & "King Kong" Mosca) when Lane pinned Mountie after a Flapjack in 12:07.
-The Express were smooth with their teamwork and kept the Canadians on the defensive. They isolated Mountie and put him away with the Flapjack to walk into the Finals.

-Main Event- -Non-Title-
5) The Patriot defeated Ivan Koloff (c) (w/Eddie Gilbert) by Disqualification in 15:42 when Koloff used the Russian Chain.
-The masked man rallied with the crowd behind him. He hit the Patriot Missile off the top but Gilbert grabbed Koloff's foot and put it on the bottom rope. This brought out Sting who chased Gilbert to the back. In the confusion Koloff grabbed his chain and his a russian sickle with his arm draped in the steel. The ref turned around and called for the bell. Lex Luger and Sting burst on the scene to chase off Koloff.

Sunday Bloody Sunday

1) The Crusher defeated The Mountie by Disqualification in 7:45.
-The Milwaukee native rallied behind the cheers of the crowd. He rattled the Canadian with lefts and right and a Bolo punch that sent him to the outside of the ring. Crusher went after him and was hit with a steel chair that was sitting at ringside. The ref called for the bell due to the obvious infraction and this brought out Ivan Putski to even the odds and sent Rougeau headed towards the locker room to escape retribution.

2) Lex Luger defeated "King Kong" Mosca with the Torture Rack in 8:12.
-Excellent hoss battle between these two big men. Luger gained the advantage after consecutive clotheslines off the ropes. He then hoisted Mosca over his shoulders in an impressive display to gain the submission victory.

3) Terry & Dory Funk Jr. (w/Jim Cornette) defeated The Fabulous Freebirds (Michael Hayes & Buddy Roberts) when Dory pinned Hayes after a Butterfly Suplex in 12:36.
-Cornette was out with the mic to announce his mystery team. "My mother has some deep pockets and she had to dig real deep once I told her who I wanted to hire. Two former world champions and the toughest men in the history of wrestling - The Funk brothers!" Hayes and Roberts met them as they came down the aisle and the match was on. The Birds used several double team moves to gain control while the illegal tactics of the Funks and Cornette balanced the match. The finish saw all four men in the ring and Terry knocked Roberts to the floor with an object he pulled from his tights. He then hit Hayes low which gave his brother a chance to hit a textbook suplex on his foe for the three count.

4) Sting defeated "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert by Disqualification in 10:44.
-The Stinger was out for revenge and he battered Gilbert around the ring. After a turnbuckle splash he locked in the Scorpion Deathlock but before Hot Stuff could concede a huge figure ran into the ring. It's Nikita Koloff! Koloff attacked Sting and hit three Russian Sickles before Lex Luger and The Patriot hit the ring. The damage had been done though as Gilbert pointed to his head laughing as he led the massive Koloff away from the jeering crowd.

-Texas Death Match-
5) Dan "The Beast" Severn defeated Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy with the Wakingtame in 13:24.
-This was a war. Both men landed some heavy shots in on the other to punish their opponent. Both men crashed into each other after Gordy whipped Severn into the turnbuckle. The Beast bounced out hard and hit heads with the Freebird. As the ref counted to eight, Severn took hold of Gordy's arm and locked in his submission. Gordy fought for several minutes but was forced to tap.

-PWUSA Tag Team Tournament Finals-
6) The Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton & Stan Lane) (w/Jim Cornette) defeated "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff & Jesse "The Body" Ventura when Eaton pinned Orndorff with a Top rope elbow in 12:41.
-The express were quick with their tags and double team moves. They were simply too much for their opponents and it didn't even take interference from their cowardly manager. Cornette crowd on the mic to the fans at ringside as his team held the belts high for all to see.

-First to 10 Falls Iron Man Challenge-
7) 2 Cold Scorpio defeated Buff Bagwell 10 falls to 5 falls in 37:29.
What a test of endurance and stamina. Both men should be commended for their efforts. Here's the breakdown of the falls.

After the finish the two exhausted performers meet in the center of the ring. Scorpio threw out his hand. Bagwell thought about it but instead kicked it away and stormed off.

-PWUSA Title Match- Russian Chain Match-
8) Ivan Koloff (c) defeated The Patriot in 22:08 when he hit a Russian Sickle with the chain wrapped around his arm.
-What a battle! Both men were bleeding from the head after each took numerous sots from the chain. Eddie Gilbert who was barred from ringside walked down after Patriot hit the Missile from the second rope. As the ref counted Gilbert put Koloff's leg on the ropes. Officials were out to escort Hot Stuff to the back but this distraction gave Koloff the opportunity he needed to clothesline the masked man with the chain to retain the belt.

Ocean City, Maryland

1) Ole Anderson defeated Super Crazy in 10:44 with the Falling Face Slam.
-Anderson walked out and began to threaten ring announcer Gary Michael Cappetta for no real apparent reason. Super Crazy came to his rescue and the match was on. This was a strong debt for the veteran Anderson but Crazy put up an excellent showing himself. Crazy hit several high risk moves but crashed and burned after a tope to the floor. Ole then applied a full nelson and slammed his opponent face first for the three count. After the his hand was raised Anderson continued his attack. This brought out Eddie Kingston who had seen enough and beat Anderson back. The two started jawing at each other as officials made sure Ole made his way back to the locker room.

2) The Body Shop (Paul Orndorff & Jesse Ventura) defeated The Fabulous Freebirds (Michael Hayes & Terry Gordy) (w/Buddy Roberts) when Orndorff pinned Hayes with a Jumping Piledriver in 11:31.
-Roberts attempted to grab Ventura's leg off the apron in retaliation for a shot he took from him earlier on the floor. The ref turned his attention towards the fracas and Orndorff kicked Hayes low and planted him with his patented hold. The ref turned around and counted three. All three Freebirds were left frustrated in the middle of the ring staring at each other.

3) Eddie Kingston defeated David Taylor Esq. with a Yakuza Kick in 8:45.
-A very competitive matchup with the debuting Taylor showing solid mat skills. Kingston reversed a turnbuckle whip and landed a stiff Yakuza kick to get the pinfall. Just then Ole Anderson hit the ring and attacked Kingston from behind. He slammed his right arm on the mat and locked in a rough looking armbar. Security was out to restore order but Kingston was hurt and hurt badly.

Bill Apter's HOT SEAT (w/Jim Cornette and his stable)
BA: Hello fans and I was hoping to have Lex Luger in the Hot Seat today but as you can all see this is not the Total Package.
JC: Apter, I decided out of the kindness of my heart and the depth of my mother's bank account to spare the people from listening to the mumblings of a muscle headed moron like Lex Loser. Instead look upon greatness. The Midnight Express are you're new PWUSA Tag Team champions. Just like I said we would we ran through the competition and as always came out on top. But the problem is Apter, where do we go from here? Who is left for us to beat up? Who left for us to prove ourselves against? Who will challenge us and give us a challenge? And the answer is NO ONE. So I am asking that pencil pusher Charlie Cox, the Supposed commissioner of Pro Wresting USA and I am begging him to find us some competition. On this program we will give any team an opportunity against us - non-title naturally.
BA: Non title?
JC: Well yes, for all I know Cox will book guys like Snake Brown or the Mulkeys next show. Whoever faces us will need to prove themselves just like we do each and every time we step foot into the ring. So Cox you've got some homework to do and Apter I'm done with you.

-No DQ - No Count-Out-
4) The Mountie defeated The Crusher with the Shock Stick in 12:32.
-The two brawled around the ring and the Milwaukee native was dominant. Jabs, crosses and the dreaded Bolo punch were effective. The Mountie was able to use the ringpost and then his dreaded Shock stick which was legal in this one to be the difference and get the victory.

-Main Event-
5) Sting, Lex Luger, & The Patriot defeated "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert, Ivan & Nikita Koloff when Nikita broke up the pin by elbow dropping the official in 15:09.
-All six men were brawling in the ring for the finish. Luger hit consecutive clotheslines and then a power slam on the PWUSA champion and went for the cover. Nikita elbow dropped the official and the match was given to the faces.

Fed Notes:
-Ole Anderson made a strong impression in his debut. He won a competitive match against the Super Crazy and displayed a vicious attitude that drew the attention of Eddie Kingston. Kington paid for helping Crazy after his match with the Rock as he was attacked and his left arm damaged due to a post-match attack.
-Commissioner Cox is searching for a team to challenge the Midnights in a non-title affair. Word is that he has found them but it will be a surprise.

1) "Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff (w/ Eddie Gilbert) defeated Buddy "Jack" Roberts (w/ Michael Hayes) with the Russian Sickle in 6:45.
-Roberts used his savy and guile to stay away from the big man. He hit consecutive Neckbreakers and got a 2 count. A distraction by Gilbert got things rolling and Nikita never looked back. He hit two Russian Hammers and this brought Hayes into the ring as the ref was trying to get Gilbert off the ring apron. Hayes took an object from his trunks and swung. He connected with his partner instead. Koloff then picked up his limp body and finished him off with the Sickle. After the match Hayes tended to an obviously out of it Roberts. As he came to, he shoved Hayes and complained about the miscue. Terry Gordy rushed to ringside to play peacemaker and the three left with obvious tension in their camp.

2) Lex Luger & Sting defeated Canadian Border Patrol (The Mountie & "King Kong" Mosca) by Disqualification in 9:10 when Mountie was caught using the Shock Stick.
-The muscular duo looked sharp in this one. Each time the Canadian duo tried to mount offense the stronger team was able to cut them off. Luger hit a Power Slam on Mosca and signaled for the Torture Rack. Mountie frantically grabbed for the Shock Stick. As he hoisted the big man over his shoulders the Rougeau used his Stick to gain an immediate disqualification. The Stinger helped clean house and he and Luger got the victory.

3) Ole Anderson beat Eddie Kington in 10:08 with a Standing Armbar submission.
-This match started as Kingston attacked Ole as he came up the aisle. The two brawled around much of the building and pushed the rules to their breaking point. Anderson continued to work Kingston's left arm in typical fashion. He then locked in a vicious looking Armlock and Kingston was forced to tap. Anderson attempted to continue his assault but the ref threatened a hefty fine and he backed away.

Bill Apter's HOT SEAT (w/ The Body Shop - Paul Orndorff & Jesse Ventura)
BA: Hello wrestling fans and here we are back in the Hot Seat and my guests today are a tag team that has had quite a bit of unexpected success here in the PWUSA and I'm talking about the Body Shop - Jesse "The Body" Ventura and "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff. Gentlemen welcome.
JV: Aa always Apter, it's your pleasure Jack.
PO: Yes and let it be known that Mr.Wonderful is the first two-time guest to the Hot Seat. No doubt the ratings were sagging for this segment so you called in a sure thing right Apter. Listen You are looking at two of the most perfectly conditioned athletes in the territory. And we aim to prove and soon enough we will wear gold in Pro Wrestling USA. Bank on it.
JV: Look at that deltoid (Flexing) Just gorgeous. I want to throw down a challenge to those two geeks Luger and Stink. You two like to think of yourselves as not only great wrestlers but also pretty tough in the gym. Well we challenge you to a match next card in Baltimore. And the winner I hear would get a shot at the PWUSA Tag Team Titles. So put up or shut up and Apter I don't think they've got the guts.
BA: You heard it fans. Will Lex Luger and Sting accept? We will find out soon enough.

-Non-Title Match-
4) The Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton & Stan Lane) (w/ Jim Cornette) (c) beat The Eliminators (Perry Saturn & John Kronus) when Eaton pinned Kronus after a Veg-O-Matic in 12:45.
- Commissioner Cox was out and announced the mystery team and the former ECW favorites - The Eliminators hit the ring and sent the Express running. This was a back and forth match with the new team matching tag team moves with the champions. A catapult moonsault from Kronus yielded a two and half count. This sent Cornette to the apron and his distraction helped turn the tide. All four men ended up in the ring for the finish and as the ref ordered Saturn back to his corner, Eaton and Lane hit the Veg-O-Matic to escape with a victory.

-PWUSA Heavyweight Title Match- Main Event-
5) "Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff (c) (w/ Eddie Gilbert) beat 2 Cold Scorpio with an Attack with Chains in 13:51
-Scorpio had the crowd behind him and it looked like he might become the new champ. He hit several high risk moves that paid off. Gilbert tripped up the high flier off the ropes and this gave Koloff a breather. Scorpio rallied and hit a suicide dive to the floor and sensed victory. Once again Gilbert interjected as Scorpio went to go to the top rope. Scorpio hit a superkick that sent Gilbert out to the concrete. Koloff used the distraction to grab his chains in the chaos and hit a land a heavy forearm smash. Koloff fell on top and the ref spun around and counted three.

Fed Notes-
-The Fabulous Freebirds have run into an unexpected losing streak and it's starting to affect their partnership. Keep a close eye on this situation as it looks close to boiling over.
-Ole Anderson continued his winning ways as he put away Kingston. The War King put up a great fight and Anderson knew he was in for a battle.
-Word is that Sting and Luger have accepted and will face the Body Shop with a tag team title opportunity in the balance.
-Speaking of the tag team champions they were just barely able to get by the newly arrived Eliminators. It will be interesting to see how this exciting tag team will be able to make waves and perhaps earn another chance to get Cornette's team in the ring.
