Chapter 8 The rest of the card was worked out for Destiny on Deimos, which included Encubus defending against Bloodline, if Encubus is able to show up. Thantos is confident that he will be able to make the date. Massif hopes that he can somehow pin the kidnapping on Thantos. This has to be the worst thing he has done. Wildcat wonders why it was done and what Thantos would get out of it? Massif snorts that it doesn’t matter as long as it hurts Omega.
Sly Drury was excited. The plan that he had been formulating for months was on schedule. Thantos would not know what hit him, and anyone else that stood in his way would pay the price. Thantos would not be the only big casualty, he would demoralize the House of Omega. Drive the final nail into the coffin of the GWF founder to open his path, a path to rule the GWF. As long as Omega had influence, that would never happen. Thantos would be too destroyed to even pose a threat. Sly was warned that big events threatened him and that he would have to be very careful to survive. The call came. The next phase was about to start. Encubus would be returning.
Card 8 Taping One Vin Strutter finally does it and it is costly! Shann-Ra seems to be taking it to She Devil and looks like she may be on the verge of winning when Strutter interferes and it backfires. She Devil is able to come back and land the Cannonball Clothesline for the win. Shann-Ra and Strutter go at it verbally, bringing in Kill Prey. Kill Prey tells Strutter to stay out of his match. Things seem to calm down as they go.
Thrash comes out angry that she is being denied a title shot at Phantasy. Havoc comes out and shoves Thrash away and says no one cares about her or no women title. He tells the Guardians that he and Paralyze will...Thrash nails him from behind. She continues her raving until Lorelei comes to the ring. The bout finally starts. It’s a tough one but Thrash in devastation mode and finishes Lorelei with the Femme Fatal. Thrash demands a championship match since she has defeated every woman in the GWF.
Endgame comes out and tells the fans this is why they need a new Code. There should never be violence involving men and women, and people like Vin Strutter needs to stay out of other people’s matches. There also needs to be some protocol to wrestler interaction, bringing up Tristan and this stranger that is following him. The crowd cheers wildly.
Vin Strutter is out again. Amazing Mann takes on Tristan. Tristan gives Mann a good match, but just doesn’t have the experience. Mann catches Tristan in the Contortion for the win
An embarrassed Havoc is back out and tells Thrash she has gone over the line and that she will pay. He then takes on Reckless. Reckless nails him with the Reckless Driver for the win. Paralyze rushes down and attacks him. Valour comes down and then attacks him. The four fight it out until security and other wrestlers arrive.
There was excitement in the back. Encubus had arrived. The search was over. Now, everyone would find out what had happened and where had been. One thing was sure, he was different. He seemed a bit angrier, more determined and was at his father’s side. He refused to answer any questions, only saying that all his talking would be done in the ring. Thantos was close to a smile, which could not be a good thing.
Taping 2 Tanck comes out and introduces his partner, the man who has been tormenting Tristan, The Betrayer. This brings out Payback who is angry about this. The match starts fast and furious. Payback once again seems to injure himself as much as he injures his opponent. The match is taken to the floor where Payback is disqualified as they fight on the floor. Security and other wrestlers pull them apart.
It’s a non title match and that proves lucky for Stars-N-Stripes. They take on the Animen, Minotaur and Antak. The Animen pulls off a hard fought victory as Minotaur hits the Charge on American Guy for the victory.
Valour takes on Paralyze. It’s a brutal match that Valour is able to win with the Warriors Rage. Again security has to break things up, but lucky for them Havoc and Reckless were banned from ringside.
Encubus comes out. He looks forward to defending his title and promises to walk out the champion and leave Bloodline laying in a pool of blood. When asked about his relationship with Omega and the family, he tells them it makes him sick that he has Omega’s blood running through him. If Omega wasn’t a sick old man, he would give him the beating he deserves. He will not rest until the House of Omega was destroyed, which no doubt meant he would try to end Bloodline’s career. This was a much different Encubus.
The final match on the card was Endgame and Sly Drury. Sly tries to make it 2 in a row over Endgame. This time Sly falls victim to the Ultima Leap. Sly recovers and tells Endgame this isn’t the end, they will meet again.
Payback and Tristan have a conversation about the Betrayer. Tristan knows he knows him. There is something about his eyes. He can almost place him, but then it disappears. It is someone who is or was close to him. There is something about his manner and how he carries himself. Payback told him not to worry about it now, there will be time later. Right now it’s time to prepare for the match.
Thantos meets with Sly Drury and is happy with the results. He asks who was responsible. Sly tells him it must remain a secret and refuses to tell him. Thantos nods and leaves to be with his son. A man suddenly appears. He tells him the Master has programmed a special word for the other work that has been done. When the time is right use the word ‘Kestrel’.
Chapter 9 The next few weeks were filled with events to hype the show. These included meet and greets, interviews, guest appearances, and promos. Massif realized the importance of his first ppv since returning. Wildcat tried to calm his nerves. Most of the details had been handled. All that was left was making sure everyone got where they needed to go and to keep the feuding parties away from each other. They listened to everything to make sure it was promoted.
The morning came quickly and Deimos was excited. The Wrestlers began to check in at noon. They were told the schedule and the importance of good conduct and sportsmanship. As of late things have been run a little loose, and need to be tightened up. Massif wanted no dqs and clean finishes. Endgame piped up that this speech would be unnecessary if they had a Code of Honor. Massif smirked at him. Meanwhile, the lobby was starting to fill up. Fans were buying tickets, visiting the concession stands, visiting the souvenir shop, and actually spending money. Several of the wrestlers not scheduled to wrestle did meet and greet in the lobby.
Once everyone was seated, Massif entered the ring. He pointed out the exits in case of an emergency. He went over some rules and regulations intended to protect the fans and wrestlers. Then he promoted a copy of the event for half the ticket price. Also, hang on to the stub for half price at the next show. The lights lowered. Destiny on Deimos had begun.
The night starts off with the battle royale to earn a shot at the Galactic Championship. Sly Drury managed to somehow pull that off.
In the next match, Payback and Tristan take on Tanck and The Betrayer. Tristan, at some point must have figured out who Betrayer was cause he seemed to be in shock. Payback tags in and takes it to both. After putting down Tanck, Payback hits a leg drop off the rope to win it.
For the Galactic Women Wrestling Championship, Phantasy defeats Latasha. Phantasy hits the Sweet Suicide to get the win. She quickly exits as Thrash makes her way down and calls out Commissioner Massif. Massif comes out and listens as Thrash states her case. Next card Thrash will fight Latasha for the next title shot.
It’s double excitement as The Interplanetary Title is defended in what has been called the Final Conflict. If Havoc and Paralyze lose they are gone from the GWF. The Guardians look ready. It’s a hard fought bout, but in the end, Valour uses Warrior Rage to finish off Paralyze. The Gladiators are gone.
Encubus defends the Interplanetary Title against Bloodline. Encubus is out of control and brutal from start to finish. Bloodline gets a few moments when he is in charge. The end comes when Encubus catches him with the Force of Darkness. Thantos pulls him out of the ring.
It’s a grudge match. Vin Strutter comes out with Kill Prey. Kill Prey gives orders to stay out of the match. He battles Swarm. Strutter can’t help himself and gets involved and nearly costs Prey the match. Kill Prey catches Swarm with the falling net to get the win.
The Galactic Tag Team Championship is on the line as Stars-N-Stripes with Latasha takes on the Troubleshooters with Phantasy. This gets wild as all six battle in and out of the ring. American Guy hits American Firepower on The Bomb for the win. Phantasy chastises the Troubleshooters all the way to the back.
The main event is for the Galactic Championship. Endgame and Sly Drury meet one more time with each man holding a win. This time Endgame is able to take the match, as Lorelei keeps Thantos from interfering. Endgame catches Sly in the Rolling Figure Four. Endgame has no time to celebrate, Disaster attacks him. Disaster is out to make him pay for the loss a few cards ago. A battered Bloodline comes in to make the save. Disaster yells there will never be another Code.
Wildkat Wilkins was in his office when Havoc and Paralyze walked in. He told them that they would fulfill their next few dates before they left. He then offered to be their booker. There were a lot of feds that would love to have Gladiators on their cards and with the people coming back, it might be a good time. Havoc was insulted and told him they didn’t need his charity. Wildkat sat him straight and said it was about making money, they made their bed to lay on and there was no reason why all of them shouldn’t profit. Once they built themselves back up, they could come back to the GWF. They discuss pay percentages and perks. They agree to allow Wilkins to book them.

Chapter 10 The problems between the Betrayer and Tristan go back long before the GWF. The two were step brothers, diehard wrestling fans, and both dreamed of being in the GWF. One might think this would bring the two closer together, but it didn’t. In practice each tried to do a little bit more or go a little farther than the other to get noticed. Then they decided to go together and formed a tag team. Scouts watched them and invited Tristan to go to the GWF. He tried to get the Betrayer in but they did not take him. Tristan accepted the invitation, devastating his step brother. If he could not be a GWF star, then Tristan wouldn’t either. He developed a partnership with Titan’s number one enemy, Tanck, and got him to break Tristan’s neck. When Tristan recovered and was announced to debut in the GWF, The Betrayer was born. He devised a plan and even got Tanck to get him as his tag partner. Payback ruined his chance at revenge. Tonight would be the chance to even the score and prove he was the better wrestler.
Havoc and Paralyze arrive for their final match in the GWF. It had been meant to be a glorious rise to the Galactic Tag Championship. The first of the rise of the Gladiators once again. They would take the Galactic Tag. Disaster would become Galactic Champion. Then, Thrash would take the women title. Though that did not mean as much prestige. Now, they leave in disgrace. They needed a win, maybe it would lessen the retribution of failure when they returned to Aethra.
Massif and Wildkat waited for the info on the PPV. The numbers were good. They had more than broken even, not much more. Enough to turn a profit. Massif sat back, not ecstatic but not too upset. Wildkat was. Most all of the fans were fans they already had, very few were new fans, especially younger ones. Massif told him it would take time to build back up. Wildkat agreed with that, the GWF had to earn back trust. The fans were not told why they had disappeared. They just tuned in and got Best of. They hoped the rest of the fans would come back. Earth’s Legend Wrestling Club and a few other new feds seemed to suck the air out of the room, not leaving much for the GWF. Wildkat had some ideas, but wanted to work them out.
Card 10 Taping 1 The Animen defeated Center Stage. Poor Vin Strutter got knocked around as the match went back and forth from the ring to the floor. Eventually Steele Freak is disqualified as he and Minotaur fight it out on the floor. The ref gets knocked to the floor and calls it.
Tristan got a measure of revenge for the stalking when he takes on The Betrayer. Tristan hits the Thunder Fire Driver to pick up the win. He is asked about The Betrayer. Tristan says he knows who he is and that this is his business and will deal with it. Tristan thanks the fans for all the good wishes and support.
Thrash demolishes Latasha much to the pleasure of Phantasy. Phantasy couldn’t have hoped for a better outcome as Thrash hit the Femme Fatal. Phantasy says she has a plan and promises that Thrash will not make it to the title match, she may not ever wrestle again after what Phantasy has planned.
The main event for the first taping is Havoc and Paralyze looking to go out with a win. Phantasy tells the Troubleshooters they better get their butts in gear and win this one. Once again the Gladiators come up just short. Muss picks up the pin on Paralyze after the Trouble Times Two. Wilkins sent word to the Aethrans he wanted to see them.
Taping 2 Things get crazy in a hurry. Payback takes on Tanck and these two don’t even wait till the intros. The rip into each other. Payback seems to be hitting moves that injure himself as well as Tanck. The end comes when he drives Tanck from the side of the ring to the floor. Tanck is counted out and Payback nearly is as well.
In the back, Payback and Lorelei have a bit of an argument. She is worried for him and making these crazy moves are not helping and is probably shortening his career. Payback tells her to take care of FDF business and let him take care of the ring business. The two are yelling at each other as Switchblade comes in. The two guys start arguing and nearly get into it. The two will have a match next time.
Genesis picks up a big win over the Colonizers. Anivar takes control of this one. He drops the Anvil to take care of Epoch and pins him, while Tauran takes care of the Slave Beast.
Bloodline tries to bounce back after his brutal betrayal and defeat to Encubus. His opponent tonight is Disaster, who is hoping to make up for the loss of Havoc and Paralyze. It is not to be, Bloodline hits the Cosmic Big Bang to get the win. Bloodline is interviewed and he doesn't know what is going on with Encubus. He thinks that Sly Drury had something to do with him.
The main event sees a determined Encubus give Endgame all he can handle. Eventually, Encubus wears himself down. Endgame puts him away with the Ultima Leap.
Havoc and Paralyze were not in the best of moods having suffered another defeat. Wildkat handed Paralyze an envelope. “I cleared things with the Aethrans, you don’t have to go home. I am sure I can get you back on, but it will be awhile.” Wildkat said. “Take some time, get your crap together and come back. Until then those are a few dates that I booked you. Do me a favor and be on your best behavior.” Havoc was angry that he was talked to in that tone. He didn’t care that Wildkat was one of the few humans to make it through and survive The Cleansing. Paralyze stepped in and thanked Wildkat. “Listen, when the time is right I’ll talk to the big man.” Wildkat said as they walked out.
“I don’t know about this new format.” Massif said. “We’ve always shown all our matches. Not showing the main event after all these years will leave the fans feeling insulted.” Wildkat: “Look, there is no incentive for the fans to come if we show all the matches. If we don’t show the main event, then they will want to come. When they come they will buy a ticket, then some concession, and, hopefully, merchandise.” Massif: “We will lose some fans.” Wildkat: “Maybe, but we could gain some new ones. We give them incentives for bringing in new fans. A few promo nights giving stuff away. If we don’t do something we will go under. The PPV should have done more. Then, we will hit the road again. Nothing big, just a couple of shows.” Massif: “All right, we’ll give it a try, for awhile.”

Chapter 11 After months of fighting Commissioner Massif, Massif agreed to most of his ideas. The tapings would not include the main event. At least for the time being, there would be a talk segment and past wrestling special. The new option Massif was now weighing was a new title, Media title. As for the night’s main event, they would be taped and shown later, though the fans would not be let in. If they wanted to see it, they would have to attend.
Sly Drury lived up to his first name. Wildkat had no proof or he would have kicked him out personally, but he was behind the transformation of Encubus. Now all heck had broken loose between him and Bloodline. The Interplanetary Championship match had been just a skirmish, things were bound to get worse. Sly also had it in for Endgame. He fancied himself a champion and had gone over Massif’s head and convinced the powers that be he could end Endgame’s reign and his push to create a new code. There was only one way to settle this. The tag match was set up and agreed to. No one knew, but this match would be the beginning of a new chapter in the history of the GWF. one that Drury planned to be center stage in.
Card 11 Taping one The Betrayer and Tristan rematch. This time the Betrayer pulls out a win. Tristan takes a nasty fall off the top turnbuckle to the floor and is counted out. Payback is out there quickly to make sure that nothing happens. The Betrayer, who has not spoken on camera, continues to refuse as he and Tanck leave with no problem.
Paralyze makes his final appearance. It is a singles match with Reckless. The Gladiator is determined to go out a winner. The match is back and forth until Reckless stuns Paralyze on the top turnbuckle as Paralyze looks to hit a high risk maneuver. Instead, Reckless turns it into a top rope hurricanrana and pins the Aethrean. To the shock of the fans, Paralyze shakes Reckless’ hand and tells everyone that he will return one day and the Athreans will win gold and return to the glory days.
Vin Strutter brings out Kill Prey and Shann-Ra to take on Swarm and She Devil. Everytime it looked like Strutter was going to interfere, either Prey or Shann-Ra kept him from it. It was strange that they refused to let him interfere, but Strutter backed off. In the end, Kill Prey finished Swarm with his Ambush
There is a replay of the argument between Payback and Lorelei with Switchblade coming in to defend his mother. Lorelei is then shown trying to talk them out of facing each other. They refuse to heed her advice, feeling they need to clear the air. Payback defeats Switchblade with the Exvenge. The two shake hands and hug to end the taping.
Vin Strutter was upset as he read his email. He was told that he had to wrap things up with the Animen and move on. The Fed would not tolerate an endless war with them. He shot back that his feud with them was the most entertaining part of their rather boring show.
Taping Two A smirking Strutter led Steele Freak out to the ring. He announced that Massif was throwing his rather immense weight around telling him who his men could wrestle. To make sure that the fans would get a proper ending to his story, he would make a challenge next week that the Animen could not turn down. Freak then took on Minotaur in a wild fight. Minotaur would win by disqualification when Freak drove him through a table.
The Troubleshooters score a big win to put them in line for a Galactic Tag Title match by defeating former Tag Champions, Genesis. Bomb pins Tauren after Trouble Times Two. Genesis continues it's downhill slide. Troubleshooters tell Stars-N-Stripes they are coming for them.
Valour goes one on one with Disaster, having ran the other Gladiators out of the GWF. Any thought of revenge is quieted by Valour as he defeats Disaster with the Violent Outburst. He made things very clear to Encubus that he wants the Interplanetary title and maybe, just maybe, Endgame’s Galactic Title down the line. He doesn't care about his kidnapping or who his family is, Encubus has something he wants and he will get it.
Massif announces that the next PPV will be in about 6 weeks to commemorate the breaking of the Code. It will be called Galactic Showdown. Endgame comes to the ring and hands Massif a petition for a new Code. Massif takes it and says they will talk about it later.
In the main event, Endgame and Bloodline take on Encubus and Sly Drury. This proves to be a hard one for the ref to control as they battle in the ring and out of the ring, even at the same time. Endgame hits the Ultima Leap and goes to pin Sly Drury. As the ref starts his count, Encubus grabs his leg and yanks him out. The ref disqualifies him, angering Encubus. Sly uses the safe word ‘Kestrel’ to calm him before he goes after the referee.
Thantos demands to know what Sly had done to Encubus. Sly tells him not to worry, this is a better Encubus like he promised. Thantos is pleased with this new side of Encubus and that Sly lived up to more than his side of the bargain. He pays off Sly and leaves. Sly activates communications. Sly: “Everything is working out just the way we talked about it. Don’t worry, it’s coming together.” He pushed send.
Wildkat and Massif meet about next week’s card. It will be a tournament to decide the next challengers. Thrash will meet someone Phantasy is bringing in and there would be a match from the past that Massif would introduce. The main event would be Sly Drury getting one more chance at the Title. The two discuss how to handle Endgame. Wildkat suggested it wouldn’t be such a bad idea. Massif lets him know that those above him have said no and want Endgame to shut up about it.

Chapter 12 There were mixed reviews on Havoc and Paralyze, something that Wildkat did not want to see. Most were good, but others had Havoc getting their late and half drunk. It came as no shock that Paralyze contacted Wildkat to let him know they had been commanded to return to Aethra. Spike was not happy with them and the political situation had made their return madatory. First, they let Aethra down, not only losing, but getting cut from the GWF. And, if word had gotten back about Havoc it would not be good. With GWF Showdown fast approaching, it would be hard to get off, but Wildkat needed to get to Aethra to plead their case.
American Guy waits in the hallway smoking a cigarette when Phantasy walks by. He makes some remarks about her. She turns and walks back to him and slaps his face. He tells her he likes his women with spirit. She informs him that she isn’t his woman. He responds by kissing her. She goes to slap him again, but he catches her hand. She tells him if he tries that again Muss and Bomb will lay him out. He winks at her and leaves.
Card 12 Taping 1 Phantasy comes to the ring. She calls Thrash out. She may have to face Thrash for the title, but Thrash won’t ever get to that match. It seems that she has got a hold of some blank contracts Thrash has signed and Thrash will be fighting her new ‘friend’ Bertha. A 348 lb brunette comes to the ring. Thrash is unimpressed. The two women battle. Bertha controls the bout till she misses her elbow drop. Thrash takes over beating the big woman down. Phantasy watches in horror as Thrash nails a ddt to get a near pin and finishes the Trailer Park Bruiser with the Femme Fatal.
Looking to find a new #1 contender, Massif has started a couple of tournaments. To start out, Tanck takes on Epoch. This match goes back and forth until Tanck goes up on the turnbuckle. Epoch manages to toss him off and he crashes to the mat and then the floor. The two fight it out on the floor. The ref tries to regain control of that match but Tanck knocks him down.
Welcome to Flashback where we celebrate matches from the past. This match is from 2108 and features Amazonia taking on Anaxis. Amazonia is dominating the match. Ana survives the Amazon Attack and the savage claw. Amazonia suffered a leg injury late in the match opening the door for Anaxis. Ana hits the Call of the Siren but Amazonia kicks out. The Boston crab and the Grecian sleeper take it out of Amazonia, as she finally falls victim to the ax handle. Anaxis gets the surprising win.
The Troubleshooters faced Titans, Payback and Tristan. The Titans take it to them early, but Phantasy helps to turn it around. Just as it appeared The Titans were going to win, things changed. Payback hit the Exvenge, but only gets a two on The Bomb. Bomb tags in Muss. Muss hits a clothesline from the top rope, He follows up with a Muss em up. Payback kicks out. Muss tags in Bomb. They hit Trouble Times Two. Bomb pins Payback.
Bloodline makes it plain that he is in this tournament to get to Encubus. He knows Encubus is probably not in his right mind, maybe kicking his butt will get him right again. If not, he will give Encubus something to think about, as well as Thantos.
Bloodline advances in the tapings main event, dominating The Betrayer. Betrayer gets the upper hand for a bit, and picks up a near fall. When he goes up for a high risk move, Bloodline slams him to the mat. He works the indian deathlock and hits a catapult elbow drop. Finally he hits the Cosmic Big Bang for the win.
Taping Two Sly Drury overcomes Switchblade in a back and forth contest. He managed to hit the Last Call and score an impressive when to start off the taping.
Genesis has been struggling to get back into the title hunt. Tonight, they are dominant against the Colonizers. Epoch gets trapped in the corner and takes the brunt of the punishment in the match. Tauran hits several spinebusters driving the air out of Epoch and damaging his back. He further tortures Epoch with the sharpshooter. He sets him up and hits the Leg Hook Piledriver.
Massif comes to the ring for the debut of a Unique Opportunity. His first guests are Plethador and Scimitar. He asks why each wants to be a GWF Superstar and if they impress him, he will give them an opportunity. Both talk and insult each other and various stars. Massif has heard enough and tells them that next they will face each other and the winner will be granted a contract.
Disaster moves on over Valour. It’s a tough fight that the ref tries to keep under control. Valour at several points looks to blow his stack, but keeps from getting disqualified. Disaster devastated him with the Gladiator. This sets up for the Gladiator Piledriver. The Gladiator stands over Valour as the taping ends.
Main Event In the main event, it is champion v champion. Early on it looks like a dominating win for Endgame, but Encubus comes up fighting. Each one gets near falls, some which saw Thantos and Lorelei get involved until they were sent to the back. The back and forth struggle ends up on the floor where Endgame accidentally sends Encubus through the announce table. The ref disqualies Endgame to the displeasure of the crowd. Endgame apologies to the fans for allowing it to get out of control and not to blame the ref. It’s a tough job, but the right man is doing it.
Phantasy was upset at Bertha not getting the job done. She was supposed to hurt Thrash and take her out, instead the big girl got herself beat and humiliated Phantasy, who had bragged how Bertha would put out Thrash. Bertha told her to calm down, next time Thrash won’t be so lucky. Thrash will be lucky to walk out of the ring. Phantasy told her she had better.
Massif was not happy. Wildkat was leaving with a big event coming up. Wildkat said that Billy South, his assistant, would handle everything. He has all the notes and is a genius at matchmaking. Massif asks “then why do we have you?” Both smile. Massif reminds him there is nothing he can do since it is Aethran business. Wildkat reminded him that he would do the same thing if the situation was reversed. Massif says he better be back before the Showdown Card. Wildkat told him that was the plan.

Chapter 13 Spike considered everything. He was between a rock and a hard place. His position as head of the Aethran Empire was being challenged regularly. So far he had managed to fight off the challenges, but if he went easy on Paralyze and Havoc then he would be in an even weaker position. Still, they still had popularity and Wildkat was sure he could build them back up, so he did not want them to be permanently damaged. He ordered three sessions in the agony booth. It would not kill them, but ‘motivate’ them. The setting would be at medium. Wildkat wasn’t happy, but he accepted it, not that he had much choice.
Phantasy reminded Bertha this would be her last chance to injure Thrash. She has paid her a lot of money and wants results. Bertha tells her not to worry, Thrash won’t be able show up for the title match because she will be hurt too badly...Down the hall, Plethador drinks plenty of water to make sure that he does not dehydrate. He is confident that he can beat Scimitar and get that GWF contract...Disaster is ready for Bloodline. He has a chance to bring greatness back to Aethra. He must defeat Bloodline and then the winner of the Epoch/Sky Drury match up. Bloodline says he doesn’t want Endgame or the Galactic Title, he just wants Encubus...Sly Drury met with Epoch. No one could hear their conversation, but one thing was clear, neither were happy. Sly noticing the camera, smashes it and shuts the door.
Card 13 Taping One Plethador and Scimitar enter the ring with Massif sitting ringside to battle for a GWF contract. Plethador is dominant. He out wrestles Scimitar and works his finisher the Suction Claw. Scimitar manages to escape several times, but in the end succumbs to the move. Massif proudly awards the contract to Plethador as a bloody and disappointed Scimitar leaves.
The Animen, Minotaur and Antak, face the Colonizers. It’s a back and forth contest until Slave Beast attempts the Pavo powerbomb. Minotaur is too strong and blocks it. Minotaur catches the Beast with an elbow and chokes him over the ropes before tagging out to Antak. Antak picks up the win with the nerve grip.
It’s time for Blast from the past. This time the match comes from 2095. With Sudden Death heating up, Reynard B Guile sent the Bounty Hunter to take on Massif. It’s a hard hitting bout. Twice, Hunter almost gets the win with the Animal Trap and with a Sunset Flip. Massif at one point hits the Volcanic Drop, Reynard manages to distract the referee. In the end it ends on the floor where Bounty Hunter is dqed.
It’s semi final time. Bloodline takes on Epoch. Epoch, who let Slave Beast do most of the tag wrestling is ready to go. It's a long bout that finds Bloodline fighting 2 on 1. Beast manages to get involved a lot by distracting and physically, allowing Epoch to do some damage. Bloodline will not be pinned. Epoch sends him to the floor. Bloodline grabs his leg and yanks him out as well. Then cracks Epoch’s head into the post and drags him back in. It’s the Cetus Masterlock for the third time in the match! Slave Beast does his best to distract the ref, but Epoch taps out to end the taping.
Taping Two Big Bertha comes out with Phantasy to rematch Thrash. Once again, Thrash has the upper hand and ddt’s Bertha. Thrash goes up after her and Phantasy has a verbal exchange as Bertha slowly gets up. Bertha catches Thrash and drives her viciously into the mat. Climbing to the second turnbuckle Bertha leaps off and hits the Trailer Park Pounce. Thrash is unable to kick out. Bertha is slow to get up. As she celebrates, Thrash is still on the mat holding her ribs.
Tristan is back after the bad spill a few weeks ago. He once again faces his nemesis, The Betrayer. The Betrayer really works over Tristan. He dominates the Titan, hitting his finisher and various other moves to get near falls, but Tristan manages to kick out and hold off The Betrayer. The Betrayer sends Tristan into the turnbuckles, as he rushes in, Betrayer hits the turnbuckles hard allowing Tristan to hit the Arcana and pick up the win.
Massif once again enters the ring to give another opportunity to a wrestler. He calls Reckless to the ring. He asks him if he has his wrestling gear. Reckless tells him he has. He tells Reckless he has a title shot tonight against Endgame. Encubus comes out and says he deserves that title shot after last time and Endgame using the table. Reckless thanks Massif for the opportunity, but he would rather earn it tonight. He then hits Encubus. Main Event will be Encubus v Reckless.
Center Stage, with Vin Strutter, wrestled the Champions, Stars N Stripes to a draw.
In the last semi final match up, Disaster defeats Sly Drury. Sly really shows he is a tough customer. He survives two near falls by the dominating Aethran. Eventually it catches up to him. After crashing into the turnbuckle, Disaster hits the Gladiator Piledriver and finishes him with the Rampage. Rampage faces Bloodline in the finals.
Main Event Encubus takes on Reckless for a shot at Endgame. Encubus quickly takes charge and out wrestles Reckless. At one point the Referee is knocked out. Thantos and Encubus really poor it on. Reckless is bleeding profusely, but refuses to give up or be pinned. Encubus looks frustrated. He hits a dropkick in the corner and follows with a bulldog. Encubus pins Reckless, even Lorelei does not try to distract the ref. Encubus will go on to face Endgame.
Thrash is angry as they try to tape her ribs up. The doctor, smoking his cigarette, says he needs to x-ray her ribs to see if they are bruised or broken. She sneers just tape them up or he’d be the ones that would need x-rays. He tells her fine, he has other patients to deal with. Just as he finishes, Reckless is helped in. Thrash is pretty impressed with Reckless, even though she doesn’t like him. Lorelei smiles and thanks her for that compliment. Thrash tells Reckless he has the heart of an Aethran. Lorelei tells Thrash she saw what happened and asks if she is ok. She says she will be. She is asking for a handicap match with Fat Suzi and Phantasy. Lorelei says they have fought a lot, but she has respect for Thrash and offers to be her partner. If Thrash wants to do all the wrestling fine, she’ll just watch her back. Thrash says she will think about it.
On Aethra The screams were nearly deafening as Wildkat made his way to the booth that would torture Paralyze and Havoc. Many were Aethrans, others from various races. Their crimes were not important. The penalty went from sessions to death. Trust Wildkat, sometimes death is preferable than the Booth. Paralyze and Havoc never screamed. They even fought to hold back the grimaces. The operator seemed to take offense that they didn’t scream and turned up agony. By the time the first session was over, Havoc was unconscious, while Paralyze had to be helped from the Booth. The first session had gone from a medium setting to the highest. The two were carried to cells, where they were examined.

Chapter 14 Dragon Master and Vanity hated the production meetings. They would have everything set up as far as the line up. Then a few days later, everything would change. The longtime voices of GWF War Zone met with Massif and Billy South. Wildkat would be out again this week. This would be an important card cause it would set up the main matches at the Showdown. For his segment, Massif would offer Tanck and Betrayer a chance at a big tag match, if they can get past Payback and Tristan.
As expected, the matches were shuffled around and some of the spots changed. This always seemed to annoy Dragon Master, as he would have to rewrite his notes. Vanity paid no mind to it as he concentrated on his other endeavors. It really wouldn’t have made a difference any way, he always went on air unscripted and note free. Several times Vanity had to be bleeped out or said something that offended a group of people or said something so crazy no one knew what to say. That was another annoyance that Fighter had, but Vanity was his good friend now, though you could not tell it on the broadcast, and he accepted it. The signal was given and the taping of the GWF War Zone had begun.
Card 14 Taping 1 The show starts off with Plethador taking on Slave Beast. Plethador does well until he becomes dehydrated. This allows Slave Beast to hit the Cry of the Beast. He pins Plethador.
Vin Strutter is interviewed. He is asked about the upcoming Animen matchup. He smiles and says that his men are locked away at a secret compound and he is not leaving anything up to chance. They will defeat the Animen and he will finally have them in his sideshow. Swarm comes down and tells him the only thing he is going to leave with is nothing. It will be just another embarrassing loss.
Next up is Payback and Tristan taking on Tanck and The Betrayer. Tanck and Payback start off. It’s a bit of back and forth, so Payback tags Tristan, when Tanck was hurt. Somehow Tanck managed to piledrive Tristan and apply the Iron Man Vise.Tristan bravely tries to hold out, but taps out.
Massif comes out with his deal of the week. He calls Vin Strutter out and says he heard his interview and it occurs to him that it isn’t right that the Animen were putting up their careers and Strutter has nothing to lose. He gives Strutter a chance to make double the winning pay off if they win, providing they agree to leave for 90 days. Strutter accepts. That tells Massif that Strutter has something up his sleeve. To keep it fair, he will be there to keep an eye on Strutter and anything he might have in mind. Strutter throws a fit.
Bertha and Thrash meet one more time. Bertha works the ribs over. Thrash is obviously hurt, but tries to fight back against the huge girl. Eventually, Bertha hits a devastating clothesline. She goes up to the second turnbuckle and hits the Trailer Park Pounce. Phantasy comes to the ring for a double team, but Thrash is saved by Lorelei. Phantasy tells her that she will retire her old behind for interfering, but had the damage been done? Thrash had to be helped from the ring.
It’s the battle for the #1continder match. The winner faces Stars-N-Stripes for the Galactic tag belts, while the loser goes for the Interplanetary Tag Titles. The Troubleshooters earn that spot as they hit Trouble Times Two after winning a brawl on the outside. Muss pins Tauran. The first taping ends with Troubleshooters and Phantasy celebrating.
Taping 2 Phantasy defeats Lorelei with the Sweet Suicide. Big Bertha comes in and they double team Lorelei. As Phantasy holds her legs, Bertha drops a couple of big elbows and hits the Trailer Park Pounce. Thrash with her taped ribs comes to the ring with a chair and stops the carnage. Lorelei is wheeled out.
Next is the Flashback Feature: Tonight is a steel cage bout between Iron Mane of the Animen and Spike of the Gladiators. Mane is able to exit the cage after defeating the ‘Poster Boy’ of the Gladiators.
The Battle Zone Championship: Epoch takes on Sly Drury. Epoch puts up quite a fight and refuses to go down. Finally, a knife edge attack takes down the bloody Epoch. Sly becomes the first Battle Zone Champion if he can hang on to it for 5 defenses, he earns a Galactic Championship match.
The final event on the show is the Galactic Championship. Endgame rematches Encubus. Thantos has been banned from ringside. In the first fall, Endgame works Encubus for the Ultima Leap to pick up the first fall. Endgames holds off the challenge from Encubus by using the Northern Light Bomb to score the pin.
The Main Event: Disaster earns the next shot at Endgame. He manages to defeat Bloodline with the Rampage. As a result, Disaster will face Endgame for the Galactic Championship, while Bloodline faces Encubus for the Interplanetary Championship.
Wildkat and Spike sit down for a chat. Spike told him that he could not allow Paralyze and Havoc escape punishment due to the political pressures. There had been several attempted coupes, so far all have failed. The young Aethreans want glory. The elders tell great stories of their exploits and the young ones want to follow.

Chapter 15: GWF SHOWDOWN Things were hectic leading up to the second major PPV for Wildkat. He was double checking the matches and spots. He was also booking Paralyze and Havoc. Not fully healed up from their ‘treatments’ they still wanted to get back on the road and bring glory to Aethra. Massif was in rare form, wanting this and that at the last minute. Billy South was quick to deal with him, so Wildkat could get things finished and ready to start.
As was his custom, Omega would show up for a little while and share stories with the fans in the lobby and have pictures taken with them. He did seem a bit down as he worried about Encubus and Bloodline. He wasn’t sure how to get to Encubus, but he had too... Phantasy was confident. Thrash had taken several splashes from Susie and by all accounts she was hurt pretty bad. It would be an easy defense, she thought to herself…
The opening contest pits Big Bertha against Lorelei. Lorelei puts the big woman down and takes the win with Maternal Rage
This contest is a six man tag match, if Center Stage wins, The Animen belongs to Vin Strutter, if they lose Strutter is gone for 90 days. Vin Strutter costs Center Stage the win by hitting Swarm with a microphone while Mann went for the pin. Then it’s a back and forth bout until Swarm’s Hornet’s Sting finishes Steele Freak. Strutter is gone!
For the Galactic Women Championship: Phantasy retains against an injured Thrash. Phantasy worked the injured ribs and then hit two Sweet Suicides to retain her championship against a still super tough Thrash.
For the Interplanetary Tag Championship: The Guardians retain the tag belts against Genesis. Reckless hits a perfect cross body block to pin Anivar in an ok match. The crowd did not seem to get into the match.
Battle Zone Media Championship: In his first defense, Sly Drury defeats Tristan with the Last Call.
For the Galactic Tag Title: Phantasy and Latasha are banned from ringside. Stars-N-Stripes retain the tag titles against The Troubleshooters. American Guy catches The Bomb with American Firepower to score the pin and win. Phantasy is not happy as she comes out and chastises them once again.
For the Interplanetary Title: Encubus dominates Bloodline. Bloodline is unable to get anything going and has to survive near falls. Eventually Encubus catches Bloodline with a dropkick that sends him into the corner and follows up with a bulldog to score the pin and win.
For the Galactic Championship: Endgame takes fall 1 with the Rolling Figure Four after surviving the Rampage. In fall 2, Disaster survives the Ultima Leap, but is caught in the Rolling Figure Four again. End game retains in two straight falls.
The note Wildkat received during the final match did not provide much information. It gave a place to meet and a time. It must have been important, but the writer was a mystery. He managed to slip off. In an old storage area in the bowels of Deimos Arena was Slave Beast. He told Wilkins that Encubus and Sly Drury were going to get rid of Thantos and take over the GWF. He doesn’t know how or when, but it does have something to do with Encubus. Wildkat asked him if anyone else was working with them. Beast said that Sly had a silent partner, but nothing else. Wilkins promised to help him someday he'd help him.

Chapter 16 Thantos was not in a good mood. Wildkat knew he would not be welcomed, but he had to try to warn Thantos. Thantos did welcome him and treat him as a guest, but wanted to get to the point. The point was Sly Drury. Wildkat warned Thantos that Sly was planning on getting rid of him. Thantos saw this as an attempt to drive a wedge between him and Sly and wanted proof. Wildkat had no solid proof, but if Thantos had to wait for it, it might be too late. Thantos ordered him to leave. As soon as he left, he had someone check into Sly.
Massif calls in Kill Prey and Shann-Ra into his office and informs them that Vin Strutter has taken off. He did say that Strutter owns their contracts for the rest of the year, but is not sure where this leaves them or Center Stage. As far as he is concerned, they can act as their own agents until it is settled.
Taping 1 Kill Prey makes quick work of Plethador after catching him with the Ambush.
Latasha faces the huge Big Bertha. Nothing she seems to do phases the woman. The big moment in the match happened when Bertha went to crush Latasha in the corner. Latasha moved, leaving Bertha to crash to the floor. Bertha tries to get back in, but Latasha comes out and smashes her with a chair. An unsteady Bertha pulls herself back into the ring. Latasha hit a catapult body press on the teetering Bertha to score the pin. Phantasy throws a fit and accuses the ref of favoritism for not dqing Latasha.
The Titans (Payback and Tristan) defeat Tanck and The Betrayer. Payback pulls some wild moves, including hitting a perfect cross body. Betrayer breaks it up. After nailing him with back to back flying clotheslines, Payback hits the Exvenge to score the pin.
Battle Zone Championship: Switchblade is a bloody mess, but somehow survives the beating that Sly Drury gives him and the interference from Thantos. A springboard hurricanrana sent Sly to the floor, then the two brawled wildly on the floor. Back in the ring Switchblade hit a flying clothesline. Then using his last bit of energy connects with the Blade of Retribution and pin Drury. The match lasted over 40 minutes with Drury beating down Switchblade, but Switchblade came back.
Taping 2 The show starts off with a Blast from the Past. This goes back to 2110. Anaxis had survived a barrage of offense from Miss Liberty including a Patriot Missile and the Liberty Leap. Eventually, Anaxis catches Liberty in the Grecian sleeper and puts her away for the win.
The Troubleshooters and the Animen go at it. Phantasy is watching closely as the two try to deal with Minotaur. Eventually, Muss uses the Muss Em Up to hurt Minotaur and even gets a near fall. This set up the tag and Trouble Times Two. Bomb gets the pin on Minotaur.
Epoch stuns Bloodline! It looks like Bloodline was going to pick up another win with the Cetus lock, but Slave Beast gets involved. Epoch manages to come back and finishes BLoodline with the Epoch slam.
Encubus wins a big match up against Valour. It was a match where he was never in any trouble, most of the time Valour wasn’t either. Then, Valour got knocked to the floor. Thantos hit the Skullcrusher as Encubus distracted the ref, much to the complaints of Lorelei. Things did not get much better as Encubus hit the Gamemaster DDT to finish Valour.
Main Event Endgame hands Disaster another defeat with the Rolling Figure Four. With 2119 winding down, there may not be many more title shots for him this year.
Epoch was smiling as the night ended and asked Sly Drury what his plan was now that he lost the Battle Zone Championship. Sly told him to shut up. Epoch gleefully reminded him he won his match against Bloodline. Drury says it don’t matter. The future has been written and cannot be changed. He would not have to settle for little titles much longer, he would have something bigger, something that would be fitting his importance.
Commander Sam muttered as he stepped out of the teleporter and shook hands with his former protege. He told Wildkat that he had to cash in a lot of favors and create others to get the information. He said he hoped that it would bring peace of mind to Omega. Wildkat agreed and thanked him. Sam went back and teleported home. Wildkat opened the paper and saw the coordinates.

Chapter 17 Massif shook his head. Massif: “After all the trouble Thantos has caused us why would you want to save his sorry behind?” Wildkat: “We know Thantos, and Thantos does have some scruples, not many, but some. He will only go so far. Now Sly is a different cat. You give him an inch and sooner or later he will take the mile. (Wildkat smiles.) Besides, I’ve always kinda liked Thantos.”
Sly Drury was still in a foul mood. Word of Sam’s inquiries got back to him. A brief communication would cover his tracks. He grumbled about doing something about Wildkat Wilkins sticking his nose in their business. Epoch did not want him killed as it would draw attention. “You think,” Drury shot at him. “Tell me something I don’t know. I’ve worked on this all year and he will not blow it for us. When we make our move, it will lead to reprisals. Are you sure you have that covered?” Epoch promised him that his part of the plan was ready. Slave Beast slinked out on a supposed errand.
Card 17 Plethador continues to look for his first win since officially joining the roster. He takes on Slave Beast. Slave Beast proves too much for the Animan. After hitting an Andromeda Drop, Beast sent Plethador to the floor. Plethador makes his way back into the ring and right into the Cry of the Wild. Slave Beast picks up a win.
The Troubleshooters continue their winning ways by defeating the new Titan tag team. Muss and Bomb cut off the ring from Payback and really worked him over. Payback survives Trouble Times Two when Tristan breaks up the pin. Eventually, he is hit with a second Trouble Times Two. Muss with the pin.
Flash Back: It’s 2098, Star Warrior and Thantos, known as the Gamemasters, take on Superiority Complex, Prodigy and Skinhead. The Gamemasters proved too much on this night. After weakening Prodigy with the Gamemaster grip, Star Warrior tags Thantos and they hit the Endgame. Thantos scores the pin.
Phantasy calls out the Old Woman to the ring and Lorelei comes out. Phantasy isn’t pleased that she stuck her nose into her business with Thrash. That is met with a slap from Lorelei. It’s back and forth until Phantasy catches Lorelei with a knee to the head. Lorelei staggers back stunned. Phantasy hits a big bulldog. As Lorelei struggles to get up she is met with a kick to the knee to send her back down. Rolling her over, Phantasy goes to the top turnbuckle and hits a frog splash. She scores the win to end the taping.
Taping 2 The show starts off with a rematch with Big Bertha taking on Latasha in a rematch. Bertha dominates from beginning to end. She cuts off the ring and uses her mass to wear down and hurt, Latasha. After humiliating her with a stink face, Bertha hits the Trailer Park Pounce to score a pin over the grease stain once known as Latasha.
Genesis continues to look to get back into the title hunt. Tonight they take on the Animen. Things again do not go well. Animen takes a big win. Tauren survives the Formicid and the Animen double team attack. He is knocked to the floor. The badly hurt Tauran is counted out.
Battle Zone Championship: Switchblade makes his first title defense against a randomly selected opponent, Reckless. These two give the fans a show. The key moment was both working on the turnbuckles. Reckless was looking for a superplex, but was shoved off. Switchblade hits a brutal Blade of Retribution and scores the pin.
Disaster takes on Valour, who tries to rebound from his loss to Encubus. Valour seems to be doing well, until he tosses Disaster to the floor Disaster grabs his leg, pulls him out and smashes his head into the steel post. The two continue their wild brawl on the floor. Back in the ring, Disaster hits the Gladiator Piledriver. As Valour struggles to get up, Disaster finishes him with the Rampage. The taping ends with the Gladiator standing over another victim.
Main Event It’s no dq! Encubus takes on Bloodline. As expected it's a fight to the end. Eventually, Encubus catches Bloodline with a nasty neck breaker and follows up with 2 Gamemaster DDTs to defeat Bloodline.
Sly smiled as the night ended. “Did you see that? Encubus destroyed Bloodline.” Thantos nodded his head. It seems that Sly lived up to his end of the bargain. Sly asked him if he ever had any doubts. The elderly former wrestler looked at Sly’s poker face. “I don’t know what to expect from you. You still haven’t told me what you did.” Sly laughed and asked if they were back to that again. Why couldn’t Thantos be happy with what was accomplished. He patted Thantos on the back and left. As he left, Thantos remembered the warnings about Drury, but dismissed them.
Wildkat thanked Paralyze and Havoc for going with him. Havoc shot back that they were only there cause Spike ordered it. Paralyze asked what he expected to find. Wildkat admitted not much, but maybe some clue. Havoc snorted wildly and claimed this was a wild goose chase. Wildkat agreed it might be, but it’s the only clue to solve the Encubus problem. Havoc said it isn’t an Aethran problem, so why are they here? Wildkat only said ‘back up.’

Chapter 18 Massif walked the floors. Why does he put up with his matchmaker disappearing at a moments notice, even if it's for an errand for Omega. Billy South worked hard to put the finishing touches on the card as he met with Dragon Master and Vanity. Truth of the matter is that Massif wanted to go on this adventure. He had been under so much stress that it would have been nice to get out of the office. He did have an assignment though, keep on eye on Sly Drury.
Thantos visits Omega. The old man is happy to see his son. Thantos says his being there is not a sign that their long feud is over, but Omega hopes it's a first step. Thantos asks what Omega thinks of Encubus since his return. Omega acknowledges that there is a deep conflict in him now, but his confidence is high and it is affecting his skill, much like it did his father. Thantos sneers and reminds him that they are not the loving father and son Omega dreams them to be, but he too recognizes that. He tells Omega that he doesn't know where he was or what happened. Furthermore, he doesn't know who to trust or not too. Omega says that is one drawback of wrestling true friends are few and far between. Thantos is reminded he does have a family he can count on. Thantos roars he has no family and is a lone and the Old Man needs to get that through his thick head. arm Card 18 Taping 1 Plethador steps into the ring, still looking for his first official win. Tonight he faces Steel Freak. Once again it's another pounding for the Animan. Even Dragon Master and Vanity wondered how long Massif would allow Plethador to continue taking beatdowns like this. Steele Freak finishes him with the Berserk Pounding Attack.
The strange pairing of Lorelei and Thrash take on Big Bertha and Phantasy. Thrash makes it more of a fight than a match. Phantasy saves herself from a beating by tagging in Bertha. Bertha hurts Thrash with the Trailer Park Pounce, after Thrash got two near falls on her. Thrash tags in Lorelei. Lorelei does fall victim to the Trailer Park Pounce.
Amazing Mann steps into the ring with Swarm, replacing Kill Prey who has his shot at the Battle Zone Title. Swarm dominates the match, but can’t put the slick Amazing Mann away. A neckbreaker, Hornet’s Sting, backbreaker isn’t enough to put away Mann. His frustration allows him to get caught in Mann’s cobra clutch. It’s a near fall for Mann, but Swarm escapes. Swarm finally puts Mann away with a second Andromeda Drop.
The Battle Zone Title is on the line, Switchblade faces Kill Prey. Switchblade survives the Ambush and the ruptured ear strikes. Kill Prey puts Switchblade away with the falling net.
Taping 2 It’s a special GWF Battle Zone as it will be a battle royal to decide who takes on Endgame at Final Conflict. First, She Devil faces Shann-Ra. Shann-Ra is dominating in this match. She Devil manages to hold her off until Shann-Ra lands a final suplex onto the ring apron. She Devil rolls to the floor and is counted out.

Four big title matches have been announced for The Final Conflict. For the Galactic Title, Bloodline will face Endgame. For the Women Title, Phantasy defends against Latasha. The Troubleshooters challenge Stars-N-Stripes for the Galactic Tag Titles. The Animen face off against The Gauardians.
