AEW Reportedly Releases Jimmy Havoc, Bea Priestley and Sadie Gibbs The Wrestling Observer reported on Thursday night at All Elite Wrestling had released three of its wrestlers — Jimmy Havoc, Bea Priestley and Sadie Gibbs. No reason was given for any of the releases at the time of the report. Havoc was suspended back in June following accusations of domestic abuse, rape and assaulting a fan. He was sent to counseling and rehabilitation by the company, and at the tame had released a statement saying his employment would be assessed following his rehab's completion. After turning down a WWE contract, Priestley made her debut for AEW at the Fight for the Fallen event in July 2019. She would go on to work eight matches, the last of which took place in March, and even teased becoming a contender for the AEW Women's World Championship. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic made it impossible for her to travel to the states, and she's been out of action ever since. Gibb had the least experience of the three, making her in-ring debut in 2017. She worked in the battle royal at the start of the 2019 All Out pay-per-view and worked in two dark matches, but has not competed in any promotion in 2020. She was the first to acknowledge her departure on social media.

Good names. I like Sadie Gibbs, saw her in a match I was watching to do stats on someone else. She is selling stuff on her twitter page, hope she isn't retiring. Her crazy dives to the outside are nuts!

Guess they finally felt that they couldn't keep signing people without eventually releasing a few.

Guess they finally felt that they couldn't keep signing people without eventually releasing a few. That's true. And these three weren't likely going to be able to appear for them anytime soon. No sense paying them to sit around. And probably best to get rid of Havoc regardless.

Do we still want Jimmy Havoc as a indie release ? After the rape claims on social media I would never use Havoc in my Fed because he’s a crap wrestler, but does he not get a chance to prove his innocent? These were claims, meaning only two people, he and the accuser, know if they’re true until tried in a court of law. Has any of them been proven to be true? Like anyone, accused or accuser, both deserve to have their voice heard

Like anyone, accused or accuser, both deserve to have their voice heard I am much more a fan of indy wrestling than you are and I still am no fan of Havoc's. He definitely deserves a chance to prove his innocence but if I remember right he has kind of half admitted to some of this stuff. I don't remember specifics but I remember reading something from him where he "took responsibility" for at least some of it.

Well obviously he admitted (half-assed or otherwise) doing something. You don't go to treatment if you're innocent. Not even just to keep a job.

I love all the hardcore stuff and would love a Jimmy Havoc card . Just wanted to see how everyone else felt ? I do agree he should be allowed to prove himself .
