Another stellar run of shows my friend. Love to see a card from the Sunnyside Gardens, now that is old school! That MSG shows was awesome top to bottom. Angelo Poffo gets a big win over Finlay in the cage and that Ted Dibiase vs. DDP bout sounded great. Dibiase has been having a strong reign on top thus far. Looking forward to more upcoming action from this fed.

Card 17 Agricultural Hall, Allentown, PA
Madison Rayne def. Princess Victoria with a boot to head - * ½. Great back and forth action that had the fans into the match from the outset that saw the momentum turn when Rayne ran Victoria into the ring post late in the contest earing great heat from the fans. Brutus Beefcake def. Steve Corino by disqualification when Corino cracked Beefcake with the ring bell - ** ½. Corino showed he was not afraid of taking things to the extreme using a ringside weapon multiple times to render Beefcake a bloody mess before the official finally had seen enough and called the match.
Justin Credible def. Mikey Whipwreck with SIGNAPORE CANE - ** ½. Another exhibition of violence as Credible made use of the Singapore Cane not only to get the pin but also earlier in the contest that went back and forth. After the match, Whipwreck recovers and wears up Credible with his own SINGAPORE CANE! Killer Kowalski def. Diamond Dallas Page with KOWALSKI CLAW - ***. This was an intense battle between two of the top contenders in the territory as former champion Page looked to stay near the top of the rankings but ran into a laser focused Kowalski who dominated much of the contest including a pair of Bombs Away before getting the pin with his finisher. Flying Redheads def. Sheepherders in a Texas Tornado Match when Red Bastien used an ATOMIC DROP on Butch Miller **. This was chaos from start to finish but the Redheads showed they could go blow for blow with the wild men from New Zealand as Billy Red Lyons tied up Luke Williams and prevented the pin save. Abdullah The Butcher def. Jimmy Snuka in a Falls Count Anywhere Match after running Snuka into a wall - ** ½. Butcher was in his element and thrashed Snuka from the restrooms to ringside and back again before finishing him off for three count at the back of the hall. Fit Finlay def. Angelo Poffo with a hard scoop slam in a Steel Cage Match - ** ½. Poffo looked to have this one in the bag after battering Finlay to a bloody mess but Finlay mounted a brief comeback and the simple body slam was enough to get the win (snake eyes)

Enjoyed that big win for Kowalski... And the feud between the Butcher and the highly ranked Superfly continues to entertain in vicious fashion... Another fun show!

Card 18 Catholic Youth Centre, Scranton, PA
Iron Sheik def. Diamond Dallas Page with a CAMEL CLUTCH - *. Sheik had the fans throwing trash before the bell with Dr. Mike Lano capturing the heat from the floor. Sheik dominated this one and set up the finish with a nasty loaded boot smash to the back from the top of the corner.
Too Cool def. Vachons with a bulldog from Brian Christopher to Butcher Vachon - *. All four men were involved in the action early on with both sides making defensive tags and it was a defensive tag that lead Christopher tagging into the match and immediately catching Vachon with a bulldog that was just enough to get the three count from Morgan Dollar. B.G. James def. Pampero Firpo with a Shake, Rattle & Roll knee drop - ** ½. Both men were a bloody mess after running each other into the ring post as there was plenty of action in and out of the ring before James was able to land his knee drop that earned him the victory. It looked to some that Firpo had his shoulder up at the last second but the decision stood despite Firpo’s protests after the bell. Flying Redheads def. Soviets when Billy Red Lyons used a SLEEPERHOLD on Alexis Smirnoff – dud. Voloff’s singing appeared to get under the skin of Morgan Dollar and the official may have been quick to call for the bell after only two moves in the match!
Jazz def. Joyce Grable with STF - * ½. Jazz was able to use her power to dominate this one from bell to bell with Grable finding ways to just kick out after a sit-out power slam and after a double underhook suplex before finally tapping out to her opponent’s finisher.
King Kong Bundy def. Larry Henning in a Scranton Street Fight with an ATLANTIC CITY AVALANCHE - **. Early in the match the two battled over a rope on the floor with Hennig getting control and choking out Bundy. The finish came when Bundy brough a chair into the ring and smashed Henning twice with the weapon before crushing him with his finisher. World Tag Team Champions Road Warriors w/Paul Ellering def. Texas Hangmen with a DOOMSDAY DEVICE to Psycho – dud. The challengers threatened Morgan Dollar before the bell and the official appeared shaken up as the action got underway but the power of the Warriors was too much for the Hangmen as Psycho never tagged out of the match and fell to the champion’s finisher when Killer’s pin save was blocked by Animal while Hawk made the cover.

Flying Redheads continue to roll. Nice win by Bundy as well. Thanks for the comments Bundy will challenge Ted DiBiase for the World Title at the next MSG show and the Redheads will clash with Hawk and Animal for the Tag Titles on the same show. Plus in the blow off to the Snuka v Butcher feud they will clash in a steel cage match

Card 19 National Arena, Washington, DC
Steve Corino def. Brutus Beefcake with OLD SCHOOL EXPULSION - ***. Beefcake had the early advantage much to the please of the fans at ringside and even had Corino trapped in his finisher SLEEPER twice before Corino battled blood loss to come back and hit his own finisher, with the second time getting the three count.
Iron Sheik def. Hugh Morrus with a CAMEL CLUTCH - **. This was a violent encounter with plenty of brawling and Sheik spiling bucks of blood from his head after a brawl on the floor. Sheik managed to load up his boot to take control of the action and picked up the submission victory.
Nora Greenwald def. Francine with a FLIPPING SEATED SENTON - **. Greenwald was in complete control of this one but missed her finisher leading to Francine getting an impressive run including a DDT but Greenwald survive and came back to get the pin.
Al Snow w/Head def. Angelo Poffo with SNOW PLOW - ** ½. Poffo and Snow put on a classic of back and forth action including an appearance of Head that had the fans roaring before Snow was able to hit his finisher.
Sheepherders def. Too Cool with a running knee to the gut to Scott Taylor from Butch Miller - **. Some solid back and forth between these two teams that could have gone either way with Scott Taylor missing THE WORM twice and later being bailed out by Brian Christopher twice as well before Miller scored the win.
Vampiro def. Fit Finlay with a roll up after a missed charge to the turnbuckle - * ½. There was a quick pace to this one and that favoured Vampiro who punished Finlay with kicks and used a defensive move to get the three count out of nowhere.
Abdullah The Butcher def. Jimmy Snuka in a Falls Count Anywhere Match with a elbow drop off the second rope - **** ½. Another crazy encounter between these two that went all over the arena with no fewer than three tables getting smashed and both men getting busted open before Butcher came off the corner in a bone crushing finisher.

I think that turnbuckle has won more matches than any wrestler.
Go Molly.
