Card 31 Armory, Hagerstown, MD
Killer Kowalski def. Mikey Whipwreck with KOLAWSKI CLAW – dud. Not much to this one as Whipwreck came out flying but was quickly grounded by his larger foe who used a dropkick and backbreaker to take control before getting the submission victory. Jack Brisco def. Lou Albano with a ROLLING REVERSE CRADLE – dud. Briscoe dominated this one but Albano showed some resilience surviving a pair of FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCKS before getting the pinfall with his other finisher.
Al Snow w/Head def. Steve Corino by disqualification for using a chair during a brawl on the floor - *. Snow had control of this one including a pair of arm trap and head butts before things went outside and both men tore it up with Corino taking things too far when he smashed Snow with a chair. Pampero Firpo def. Justin Credible by disqualification when Credible choked out Firpo with his Signapore Cane - *. Credible and Firpo went toe to toe for this brief but intense showdown that quickly spilled outside where Credible grabbed his favourite weapon. Both men brawled to the back after the bell. Larry Hennig & Hugh Morrus def. Texas Hangmen (Killer & Psycho) when Morrus pinned Killer after a spinebuster - *. In a battle of two powerhouse teams, Henning and Morrus controlled most the action with the Hangmen making use of the occasional double teaming without sustained success. Psycho’s pin save was blocked at the end of the match. Vampiro def. Angelo Poffo in a Chain Match with a power bomb - *** ½. This could have gone either way with both men making use of the chain in defensive moves to turn the momentum. Poffo hit back to back NECKBREAKERS but Poffo put a foot on the rope to keep the match going. Both men were busted open with Poffo using the chain and Vampiro doing damage during brawls on the floor before making a comeback for the win. World Champion Ted DiBiase & “Iron” Mike DiBiase def. Fit Finlay & Jimmy Snuka when Ted DIBiase pinned Snuka after a LOADED GLOVE - ***. The action was back and forth with both sides picking up near falls before Mike DIBiase ran Snuka into the ring post. Snuka was bleeding profusely after that and the World Champion crushed Snuka with a FULL POWER SLAM but Superfly kicked out but could not repeat the feat after DiBiase’s illegal finisher. News and Views: The women will be showcased as head to Hammton, NJ for card 32. On top, Mildred Burke defends the Women’s Title against Melina. Plus, Sherri Martel will take on Candi Divine and Fabulous Moolah will face Madison Rayne. In tag team action, the Glamour Girls battle Trish Stratus and Rockin Robin . . . Tonight’s main event has set the stage for the main event at the National Arena (# 33) in Washington as Jimmy Snuka will be looking for some payback when he battles World Champion Ted DiBiase one on one with the title on the line. Plus, Fit Finlay steps back into the ring with “Iron” Mike DiBiase in a warm up for his own title shot at Madison Square Garden (#35) . . .

Card 32 Arena, Hammonton, NJ
Nora Greenwald def. Princess Victoria with a somersault neckbreaker - *. This was a chess match from bell to bell with both women exchanging moves and counters until Greenwald struck with her neckbreaker really out of nowhere for the pin (snake eyes).
Joyce Grable def. Susan Green with an airplane spin - *. Another back and forth contest but Grable proved to have the better weapons tonight but it appeared that Green may have gotten her shoulder off the mat at the last second but the pinfall stood despite the post action pleas of Green.
Tina Moretti def. Jazz by disqualification when Jazz attacked Moretti with a chair during a brawl on the floor - * ½. The power of Jazz was on full display in this one but Moretti proved difficult to put away and the frustration of Jazz boiled over and cost her the victory. Both women brawled after the match and had to be pulled apart.
Fabulous Moolah def. Madison Rayne with a JACKKNIFE CRADLE - * ½. This was a highly anticipated encounter but once Moolah had control she never let up her attack including using her both of her finishers and a Boston Crab in attempts to end the match before finally getting the pin with her cradle finisher.
Trish Stratus & Rockin Robin def. Glamour Girls (Leilani Kai & Judy Martin) when Robin pinned Martin with a flying lariat - ** ½. The Glamour Girls had complete control of this one but a hot tag to Stratus turned things around and lead to back to back STRATUSFACTIONS and only a pin save kept the action going but the momentum never turned back and Robin picked up the three count.
Sherri Martel def. Candi Divine with a TOP ROPE SPLASH - **. It was clear from the intensity from the outset of this match that these to competitors did not like each other. The pin attempts came early and often and Martel took things up a notch when she posted Divine earning great heat from the fans.
Melina def. Women’s Champion Mildred Burke by disqualification - *. This one ended in controversy when Melina grabbed a chair and attempted to use it on the champion but Burke was ready, took the weapon away and deck her challenger. The referee called for the bell and Burke was livid. Melina grabbed the Women’s Title belt and escaped ringside with Burke in hot pursuit.
News and views: After the controversial conclusion to the main event, a rematch has been booked for the upcoming Madison Squared Garden Show (#35) . . .

Card 33 National Arena, Washington, DC
Iron Sheik def. Ron Hutchison with CAMEL CLUTCH – dud. Sheik dominated this one and cranked up the heat but beating Hutchison to a bloody mess and releasing him from his finisher at one point to allow for more punishment to be dished out.
Frank Dalton & Tommy Gilbert def. Too Cool (Brian Christopher & Scott Taylor) when Gilbert used a RUNNING KNEE LIFT on Christopher - *. Too Cool had the early advantage but things turned. Taylor was able to save his partner from Gilbert’s first knee lift but a second finisher was too much.
Fit Finlay battled “Iron” Mike DiBiase to a double disqualification – dud. It only took a few moves for this one to spill to the floor and it was clear that both men had no interest in following the rules which allowed the official no choice but to disqualify both competitors who brawled their way to the back.
Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk) w/Paul Ellering def. B.G. James & Barry Windham when Animal pinned Windham with a POWER SLAM - ****. This was a classic tag team battle as both sides made use of double teaming and key defensive tags to keep things going back and forth. Twice during the match Windham was saved by James, including once after a DOOMSDAY DEVICE, but in the end, Animal crushed Windham into the mat with is singles finisher to claim hard fought win.
Buddy Rogers def. Mikey Whipwreck with a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK - *** ½. Rogers expected a walk in the park but Whipwreck came to compete and pushed the Nature Boy to the brink picking up three very near falls during the match that had the fans out of their seats before Rogers came back, bloodied his foe to earn some serious heat and then picked up the submission win.
Flying Redheads (Red Bastien & Billy Red Lyons) def. Soviets (Alexis Smirnoff & Nikolai Volkoff) when Lyons used a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK on Smirnoff - **. The speed of the Redheads proved to be a huge difference maker in this one and in the end, Lyons was able to get the submission while Bastien blocked the pin save attempt.
World Champion Ted DiBiase def. Jimmy Snuka with a fist drop - * ½. The Superfly was dominating this one and had picked up a pair of near falls in the opening minutes when DiBiase countered back and hit a fist drop and retained the title after what appeared to be a very quick count by Morgan Dollar (snake eyes).
News and Views: World Champion Ted DiBiase continues to roll and will be defending this title at the Madison Square Garden event (#35) against Fit Finlay who battled the champion’s father “Iron” Mike DiBiase to a double disqualification tonight . . . Road Warriors won a classic tonight and have momentum heading into their return match with the Vachons for the tag team titles in Harrisburg (#34) and then again at Madison Square Garden when their two sides will collide in a steel cage! . . Buddy Rogers had to dodge some tough questions from the media after he narrowly defeated Mikey Whipwreck. The Nature Boy stated he could be beat the upstart fan favourite anytime anywhere and the rematch between the two has been added to the Madison Square Garden show . . . Jack Brisco told he media after tonight’s event that he was disgusted with the actions of the Iron Sheik and has challenge the Iranian to a match in New York (#35).

Card 34 - Zembo Mosque, Harrisburg, PA
Flying Redheads (Red Bastien & Billy Red Lyons) def. Texas Hangmen (Psycho & Killer) when Bastien used a moonsault to pin Psycho – dud. The Hangmen had words for Morgan Dollar before the bell and the official was anything but impressed and appeared to make a faster count then normal when Bastien made the first cover of the match and gained the somewhat controversial victory.
Steve Corino def. Al Snow w/Head with an OLD SCHOOL EXPLUSION - ** ½. Plenty of action in and out of the ring as you would expect between these two with Snow connected with back to back SNOW PLOWS early on but not finding victory before Cornio batted back and his own finisher two out of the last three moves of the match. Barry Windham & B.G. James def. Larry Hennig & Hugh Morrus when Windham pinned Hennig after a SWEETWATER SUPLEX - ***. This was a close battle under the watchful eye of Morgan Dollar as both team held the advantage at various points before Windham uses a sleeper to set up his finisher in match that has to move Windham and James close to the top of the contenders list. Pampero Firpo def. Justin Credible by disqualification when Credible used a SINGAPORE CANE on Firpo - ** ½. This was a wild and intense battle from the opening bell with both men literally clawing and punching their way into control of the match. Credible made the ropes to survive EL GARFIO and then broke out his weapon. He got away with using it once but the second time was enough for the referee to call for the bell. Both men carried on with the brawl after the match and into the aisle before security arrived to break it up. Killer Kowalski def. Jimmy Snuka with a KOWALSKI CLAW - ****. This was an awesome encounter that went back and forth. Snuka picked up a pair of near falls early on after a series of backbreakers and piledriver before Kowalski rammed Snuka into the ringside table and took control of the match. Kowalski trapped Superfly in his finisher several times but could not get the submission before Snuka mounted a comeback but Kowalski weathered the attack and trapped Snuka in his finisher once again to get the three count from Morgan Dollar. Vamprio def. Angelo Poffo with a roll up after a missed turnbuckle charge in a Harrisburg Street Fight - **. The action only left the ring once and was a time very technical and it was the sure wits of Vampiro that gave him the victory tonight after a fun back and forth contest. World Tag Team Champions Vachons (Mad Dog Vachon & Butcher Vachon) def. Road Warriors (Hawk & Animal) by disqualification when Animal used the tag team title belt to deck Mad Dog Vachon during a brawl on the floor - ** ½. Morgan Dollar sent Paul Ellering to the back once again the Warriors were livid. The action was intense and violent with the Champions having long stretches in control of the match before the frustration of the Warriors boiled over and Animal was disqualified by Dollar. Both teams brawled afterwards and security was needed to pull the two sides apart. News and Views: The stage is certain set for the main event at Madison Square Garden (#35) as the Vachons will defend the Tag Team Titles against the Road Warriors in a Steel Cage Match. The Vachons dominated a majority of the title defense tonight and could bounce the Warriors from contention with a successful title defense inside the cage . . . Vampiro and Angelo Poffo continued their feud tonight and things will escalate at MSG when the two battle in a Dog Collar Match . . . Firpo and Credible will also look to settle the score in New York when they meet in a New York Street Fight that should be off the charts . . . With these encounters in addition to the matches previously announced, the Madison Square Garden show is cannot miss this time around!

Card 35 – Madison Square Garden, New York, New York
Texas Hangmen (Killer & Psycho) def. Too Cool (Brian Christopher & Scott Taylor) when Killer pinned Christopher after choke with the bullrope - ***. Hot opening with the fans eating up the back and forth action which featured pin saves after THE WORM and after a HANGMEN BACKBREAKER before the illegal tactics of the Hangmen lead to their victory despite the watchful eye of Morgan Dollar. Al Snow w/Head def. Steve Corino with a moonsault - ***. The story in this one was Snow unleashing everything he had in an effort to put his opponent down including four SNOW PLOWS but Corino just kept finding ways to kick out as the fans became more and more frantic for Snow to find a way to win which he did from the top rope. Larry Hennig & Hugh Morrus def. Soviets (Alexis Smirnoff & Nikolai Volkoff) when Hennig pinned Smirnoff after Smirnoff was blinded by the flash of Dr. Mike Lano - *. This powerhouse battle was just starting to heat up when Lano moved in for a close up and blinded the Russian leading to the easy pin by the Axe with Morgan Dollar making the count quick so Smirnoff could be attended to.
Buddy Rogers def. Mikey Whipwreck with drokicks - *. The fans cheered each and every move from Whipwreck who again put up a spirited fight but the Nature Boy had the answer to everything and picked up the win with a series of dropkicks that landed with the precision of a champion.
Pampero Firpo def. Justin Credible in a New York Street Fight with EL GARFIO - ****. This match was insane and spilled outside into the parking lot before it was all said and done. Both men made liberal use of chairs, the ring rails and pipes to beat each other into a bloody mess before Firpo was able to use his finisher to get the victory in the middle of the ring. Jimmy Snuka def. “Iron” Mike DiBiase with a SUPERFLY LEAP - ** ½. DiBiase earned some serious heat when he ran Snuka face first into the ring post busting him open but Snuka kicked out after the following TOP ROPE KNEE DROP and then battled back to get the win with his own finisher from top of the corner.
Jack Brisco def. Iron Sheik with a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK - **. It looked early on that Brisco may have bitten off more than he could chew when he challenged Sheik to a match but Brisco survived the early attack of his opponent and took control with a mix of science and brawling, including a wicked looking backdrop at ringside that lead to a near count-out, before he picked up the submission decision from Morgan Dollar. Vampiro def. Angelo Poffo with NAIL IN THE COFFIN in a Dog Collar Match - **. The was a slow paced back and forth strategic battle with both men using the chain to choke out each other at various times and mix the chain into their standard offensive attack. B.G. James & Barry Windham def. Flying Redheads (Red Bastien & Billy Red Lyons) when Windham pinned Bastien with an inside cradle - ****. This was a fan pleasing thriller that could have gone either way. James looked on the verge of defeat but a hot tag late to Windham turned the match and lead to back to back SWEATWATER SUPLEXES to Bastien. Lyons made the pin save the second time but Windham tossed him outside and then rolled up his Bastien for the three count from Morgan Dollar. Women’s Champion Mildred Burke def. Melina with an ALLIGATOR CLUTCH – dud. The champion came to the ring with payback on her mind and she more than collected as Melina has held to just a few offensive moves the entire match with Burke being relentless against her challenger. World Champion Ted DiBiase def. Fit Finlay with a FULL POWER SLAM - *** ½. DiBiase had words for Morgan Dollar before the match and the official seemed rattled after the encounter. Finlay was in control of the match late when DiBiase avoided a charge to the corner leading to a roll up. Finlay kicked out at the last second but DiBiase followed with one of his finishers and retained the title which what appeared to be a fast count from Dollar.
Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk) w/Paul Ellering def. World Tag Team Champions Vachons (Mad Dog & Butcher Vachon) in a Steel Cage Match to win the titles when Hawk pinned Butcher Vachon after whipping him into the cage wall – dud.
