A little disappointed that Melina didn't fare better in her title rematch... But, it's awesome that Vampiro is now at the top of the rankings... Excited to see him in hunt for some gold!

Another awesome drop of show results my friend. MSG was great as always, even if two championship matches were somewhat one sided. I like the addition of News and Views also. Good stuff.

Card 36 – Armory, Cherry Hill, NJ
Malia Hosaka & Ida Mae Martinez def. Toni Rose & Beverly Shade when Hosaka pinned Shade with a FRNKENSTEINER * ½. Shade & Rose controlled most of the action but a quick tag brought Hosaka back into the match and she hit her finisher for the sudden pin.
Francine def. Susan Green with a spear - **. Green controlled almost all of this match including two TEXAS BULLDOGS but could not get the win before Francine tossed Green off the top of the corner and connected with a spear for the comeback win.
Tina Moretti def. Jazz with a JUMPING FACEBUSTER - ****. An awesome match that went and forth with Jazz controlling early but she was not able to get the win after a BITCH CLAMP and STF and Moretti came back strong and used back to back finishers to get the comeback pin. Trish Stratus & Princess Victoria def. Glamour Girls (Leilani Kai & Judy Martin) when Stratus used a Chick Kick on Martin - ** ½. Victoria was all but finished after taking a beating from the Glamour Girls when she popped the fans with a thrilling hot tag to Stratus who cleaned house including her finisher against Martin before landing a kick to get the three count. Fabulous Moolah def. Nora Greenwald with a JACKNIFE CRADLE - *. Moolah found her shoulders on mat in the opening moments but quickly reset and came back to get the win.
Sherri Martel def. Candi Divine with a cobra clutch suplex - ** ½. Another great back and forth match with Divine nearly getting the win with a CROSS BODY BLOCK but Martel kicked out and then mounted a comeback picking up the win after controlling the last half of the contest. Mildred Burke def. Rockin Robin with a Scorpion Death Lock – dud. Robin was outclassed in her second opportunity at Burke and fell in less than fifteen moves. News and Views: Fabulous Moolah has moved up the ranking and will get the next shot at Mildred Burke’s Women’s Title as part of the upcoming Madison Square Garden show (#40) . . . Up next, we head to Lowell, MA for a show headlined by a Singapore Cane match between Pampero Firpo & Justin Credible plus Too Cool taken on Texas Hangmen & Buddy Rogers faces Al Snow

Card 37 – Memorial Auditorium, Lowell, MA
Lou Albano def. Ron Hutchison with a SICILIAN SLAM - *. Hutchison controlled early but was never able to get Albano in any serious trouble before Albano locked in a lengthy abdominal stretch and then finished his foe with back to back finishers.
Jimmy Snuka def. Rock Riddle with a SUPERFLY LEAP – dud. Snuka took more time greeting his fans at ringside then he did in the ring after the bell as this one lasted just five moves.
Larry Hennig & Hugh Morrus def. Frank Dalton & Tommy Gilbert when Hennig used THE AXE on Dalton - * ½. Gilbert looked to be finished after NO LAUGHING MATTER but a timely save from Dalton kept things going but in the end Dalton could not be saved after Hennig crushed him with his finisher.
Killer Kowalski def. Mikey Whipwreck with a jumping knee drop – dud. It took the much larger Kowalski just four moves to finish off Whipwreck much to the disappointment of the fans.
Buddy Rogers def. Al Snow w/Head with a FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE - **. Snow nearly ended it with some help from Head but Rogers just kicked out and later used a chair on Snow’s leg at ringside earning serious heat. Snow survived one FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE by making the ropes but could not get back into the match and fell via submission.
Texas Hangmen (Killer & Psycho) def. Too Cool (Brian Christopher & Scott Taylor) when Psycho pinned Christopher after a HANGMEN BACKBREAKER - ***. The story of this one was the Hangmen using their power to dominate and the smaller opponents just finding a way to stay alive and come back on offense just long enough to keep things interesting but the Hangmen managed to use their tandem finisher four times during the match and it lead to the win.
Justin Credible def. Pampero Firpo in a Singapore Cane Match with a basement dropkick - **. Both men did damage during brawls on the floor but the Singapore Cane never came into play as Credible was able to get the three count without using his finisher.

Card 38 - Rhodes On The Pawtuxet, Cranston, RI
Pampero Firpo def. Killer Kowalski by disqualification when Kowalski rammed Firpo into the ringside table – dud. The battle of the claw finishers ended In a non finish when the action spilled outside after only a few moves that were controlled by Firpo.
Soviets (Alexis Smirnoff & Nikolai Volkoff) def. B.G. James & Barry Windham when Volkoff pinned James – dud. This was a shocker as the finish came very early as James was in control against Volkoff when the Russian powerhouse countered a deathjump cross body block with powerslam for the victory.
Justin Credible def. Steve Corino by disqualification when Corino crushed Credible with the ring bell – dud. This was the third straight match to last less than ten moves as Corino took things too far when he got into some hot water.
Jimmy Snuka def. Iron Sheik by disqualification when Sheik slammed Snuka onto the ringside table – dud. Four in a row that ended quickly and the fans are wondering what is going as Snuka dominated the action in the ring but until Sheik put him through a ringside table.
Vampiro def “Iron” Mike DiBiase by disqualification when DiBiase used a chair to deck Vampiro – dud. Another short match and another disqualification had the fans boiling as this one also ended at ringside when DiBiase chose to attack his foe with a chair.
Jack Brisco def. Angelo Poffo with a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK - ** ½. Poffo had Brisco in some trouble early on picking up a pair of near falls before Brisco came back with an attack focused on the lower body and ending his finisher. Flying Redheads (Red Bastien & Billy Red Lyons) def. Vachons (Butcher Vachon & Mad Dog Vachon) when Lyons used a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK on Butcher Vachon- * ½. This was a highly anticipated showdown between two of the top teams in the territory and the action when back and forth until a key defensive tag from the Redheads lead to Lyons gaining the upper hand against Butcher Vachon and getting the submission victory
