Nice! Bobo retains!!! However, Fargo over Thesz was a shock! That sir...is a win of a lifetime! Fargo has been really impressive in this fed... He won his previous feud against Duggan in pretty decisive fashion and now he's holding his own against Thesz... I foresee a title shot of some kind in the not too distant future. Always appreciate the great feedback, my friend... Many thanks!

Big win by Bobo, rare bad performance by AJ and love Savage winning. At this point in time, Brazil and Savage are probably the marquee players in this promotion... And although AJ had a bad night, he's overall record is excellent. Truly value the input, my friend... Many thanks!

My apologies... This should have been posted before the Independence Day Special card.
Pro Class Wrestling Association *** News Breakers *** Year 1, Jun-30
PCWA Singles Rankings
PCWA Global Heavyweight Champion: Bobo Brazil (PCWA Global Heavyweight Champion) PCWA Atlantic Open Champion: Rob Van Dam (8) 1. Randy Savage (2) 2. Ted DiBiase (1) 3. Iron Sheik (3) 4. Nick Bockwinkel (–) 5. Jackie Fargo (6) 6. The Destroyer (7) 7. Gorgeous George (9) 8. Blackjack Mulligan (–) 9. Jimmy Snuka (4) 10. Hacksaw Jim Duggan (–)
PCWA Tag Team Rankings
PCWA Global Tag Team Champions: Road Warriors (1) 1. Miracle Violence Connection (PCWA Global Tag Team Champions) 2. Blond Ambition (4) 3. Red Army (5) 4. King Kong Bundy & Ted DiBiase (–) 5. Flying Tigers (2)
- Bobo Brazil successfully defended the PCWA Global Heavyweight Championship against Nick Bockwinkel at Detonation. Although there are several competitors that could make a valid case for receiving the next title shot, Commissioner Dillon made a special announcement at Detonation that changes the game. A 13-Man Star Spangled Battle Royal will take place on the Jul-4 episode of Wednesday Night Whiplash - an Independence Day Celebration. The winner of that Battle Royal will challenge Brazil at the next PCWA supercard, Fire In The Sky.
- Road Warriors retained the PCWA Global Tag Team Championship against Red Army at Detonation. The former champions and current number one contenders, Miracle Violence Connection, will receive a title rematch at Fire In The Sky.
- The following wrestlers have been granted their immediate release: Jerry Lynn and Greg Valentine.
- Once again, the PCWA will partner with Interstate Independents for a special event. Frontline Tribute is scheduled to take place on Aug-19 at the TD Garden in Boston, MA and will feature eight of the most talented teams on the independent circuit in a standard tournament. Expect regular announcements regarding the participants in the weeks leading up to the event.
* Promoter's note: Having lost his Best of Seven series against RVD in rather decisive fashion as well as his following match against Ted DiBiase, it seemed like a no-brainer that Lynn would not appreciate his current standing within the company. As for The Hammer - it came down to a roll of the dice... It was going to be him, Dennis Condrey (who is out with an injury while Eaton looks for success with Candido as his partner) or Boris Zhukov (thought I might have Volkoff team up with Iron Sheik for a bit until another Russian joins the roster)... The dice picked Valentine, thus ending a possible program between him and Beefcake before it even had a chance to begin. LOL!

Maybe Beefcake crows about running Valentine out of the fed. At least until The Hammer returns and makes him eat it.

My predictions: Barry Windham David Taylor & Blond Ambition Lou Thesz Flying Tigers 13-Man Star Spangled Battle RoyalTerry Gordy I'm trying to push Bundy & DiBiase, but the Tigers are really proving themselves... Gordy winning this Battle Royal would be a huge opportunity... However, it would also mean MVC would have to give up their shot at the tag belts on the next supercard... Oh, snap!

Maybe Beefcake crows about running Valentine out of the fed. At least until The Hammer returns and makes him eat it. It looks to me like Valentine was not pleased with management forcing him to put The Destroyer over... With a figure four, no less... I still foresee a program between him and Beefcake somewhere down the line... Truly appreciate the continued interest, my friend... Many thanks!
