Pro Class Wrestling Association
*** News Breakers ***
After several successful tours, Pro Class Wrestling was forced to close for eight months. It has just been purchased by a new owner and is being rebranded as Pro Class Wrestling Association (PCWA). Although the actual fed history will not be carried over, individual wrestlers/tag teams will retain their placement in the rankings from the time that Pro Class Wrestling tours ceased operation.
JJ Dillon named as PCWA commissioner.
Event schedule:
- Wednesday Night Whiplash will take place every Wednesday at the Manhattan Center in New York City.
- Supercards will take place on the last Friday of each month.
The PCWA Global Heavyweight and Tag Team Championships will be awarded on the first PCWA supercard, Pride & Glory.
- The PCWA Global Heavyweight Championship will be decided by an eight man single elimination tournament. As past PCW Global Heavyweight Champions, four competitors have already been selected to participate: Lou Thesz, Randy Savage, Bobo Brazil and Harley Race. Despite multiple attempts to reach an agreement that was satisfactory to both parties, PCWA was unable to sign two-time PCW Global Heavyweight Champion, Buddy Rogers, to a contract.
- The PCWA Global Tag Team Championship will be decided in a Best of 3 Falls match between outgoing PCW Global Tag Team Champions, Miracle Violence Connection and previous top contenders, the Road Warriors.
Promoter's notes: I will be using the federation management chart passed along to me by our good friend and well known promoter, bookerbill - This will determine how many wrestlers depart/join the federation after each Brutal Planet episode and help guide the roster selections. Before scheduling each episode of Wednesday Night Whiplash, I will roll on a slightly modified version of the Dave Marquez card released by throwingtoasters - This will determine if/what title is defended on the show plus provide a few other great options for what might take place. Finally, before each match I roll 2 dice - a 2 or 12 roll means that one of the wrestlers involved might suffer a legitimate injury. After the match concludes, I randomly determine which wrestler must roll on the following chart:
2 = Wrestler injured for an indefinite period of time. (A roll of doubles at the beginning of any given month means this wrestler can return to action.)
3 = Wrester out for 10-12 months. (Roll 1d6, 1-3 = 10 months, 4-5 = 11 months, 6 = 12 months)
4 = Wrestler is out for 5-6 months. (Roll 1d6, Odds = 5 months, Evens = 6 months)
5 = Wrestler is out for 1-2 months. (Roll 1d6, Odds = 1 month, Evens = 2 months)
6 = Wrestler is out for 1-3 weeks. (Roll 1d6, 1-2 = 1 week, 3-4 = 2 weeks, 5-6 = 3 weeks)
7 = NO INJURY!
8 = Wrestler is out for 4-6 weeks. (Roll 1d6, 1-2 = 4 weeks, 3-4 = 5 weeks, 5-6 = 6 weeks)
9 = Wrestler is out 3-4 months. (Roll 1d6, Odds = 3 months, Evens = 4 months)
10 = Wrestler is out for 7-9 months. (Roll 1d6, 1 = 7 months, 2-3 = 8 months, 4-6 = 9 months)
11 = Wrestler is out for 1 year.
12 = Wrestler injured for an indefinite period of time. (A roll of doubles at the beginning of any given month means this wrestler can return to action.)
As always, I appreciate all my friends and fellow promoters for taking the time to check in... Any comments/feedback is highly valued... Many thanks for staying tuned! TRUTH!
