Great to see so many of my favorites - Havoc, AF, Mistress, Balaal & Black - scoring big victories on this card... But, of course, the big news has gotta be Mantis with the monster upset against Monolith... Black Death Cometh indeed!

2127.08.48– Beeta Pictoris Stellar Hall, Pictor – GWF Warzone
Swarm def. Hector the Holy Brown Bear with an Exploder Suplex. It was clear from the outset that these two shared no love for each other as Swarm dug in early and took control including the Hornet’s Sting before getting the pin with an impressive suplex. Payback joins Swarm in the ring for some post action punishment including double deathjumps. The Gamemasters arrive and pull Hector to the floor to avoid significant injury. **
Black Death Ani-Men (Balaal & Mantis) w/Dark Menace def. Leaders of the Pack (Malkuth & Panther Warrior) when Mantis used PINCER CLAMP on Warrior. This match was shockingly one sided with the Black Team cutting off Warrior from the opening bell and Mantis nearly getting a count out victory after an assault on the floor before scoring the submission. DUD
Abroz & Dialectas come out for the next round of the Infinity Challenge.
Galaxian Women’s Champion Shann-Ra & Mother Superior def. Deadliest of the Species & She Devil when Ra used MACHETE on Deadliest. The action was fast paced and went back and forth from bell to bell with plenty of high flying dives to the floor from both Devil and Ra before the champion used her finisher to pick up two much needed points for Abroz. **
The standing in the Infinity Challenge are Dialectas 16, Abroz 10.
Interplanetary Champion Paralyze w/The Leveler def. Patch in a Non-Title Match with PERMANENTLY PARALYZED. Patch looked like he might actually have the skills set to give the Gladiator some serious trouble but Paralyze took control during a wild brawl on the floor that left Patch busted open and on defense for the balance of the match. **
Retribution w/Omen def. Nosfera w/MYTH BUSTER in a Castor Chain Match. It took a while for the chain to come into play but when it did both men used the weapon to render each other a bloody mess but this match really belonged to Retribution who used his submission finishers multiple times on route to a dominating victory. *** ½
After the match, Retribution uses the chain to assault Nosfera further and then traps in in GROUNDING THE DEMON. Nosfera needs medical assistance to leave the ring while the fans look on not sure what to think other then to boo the actions of Retribution.
Aethran Overmaster w/The Leveler def. Anivar w/The Dark Menace. This was originally booked to be Anivar against Tauran but the incapacitation of Tauran last card resulted in a change. The leader of the Gladiator was out to make a statement and thrashed Anviar in and out of the ring. The distraction for Menace kept the match going after REIGN OF THE OVERMASTER and later the interference of Sleeper Cell only made Overmaster more angry. ***
Coven Black w/Mistress of Darkness & The Dark Menace def. Helsin w/Scorn & The Guardian by disqualification when Helsin used a Stun Rod that Dark Menace had initially passed to Black. You would not known that Black was still recovering from injury by the way he dominated the first half of the match using BITE OF THE VAMPIRE three times but could not get the victory before Helsin drew on the support of the fans to come back. STAKE TO THE HEART looked to finish the match but a key distraction by Menace kept things going and it was Menace who took the Stun Rod from the under the ring for Black to use but Helsin was able to get control of the weapon leading to the finish. ****
Oracle w/The Dark Menace def. Tricks in a Titan Death Match with DARK FUTURES. Most of this one took place on the floor and Oracle dominated using a stun rod and the ring rails to punish Tricks who only had a view brief moments in control before Oracle put an end to this feud with his former partner. * ½
Ultimate Fighters (Clinch & Shoot) def. Galaxian Tag Team Champions Rush & Turmoil w/ The Leveler by disqualification when Rush smashed Shoot with a title belt during a brawl on the floor. The Gladiators were the aggressors from the outset and cut off Shoot from his partner and despite his moderate injury, Rush engaged in a brawl on the floor with Shoot leading to the disqualification finish. Both teams continued to battle after the bell and are joined first by Patch and then by Aethran Overmaster & Paralyze who gain control of the ring as he go off the air. Commissioner Euritar announces after tonight’s event that Retribution has been suspended for four fight cards for his attack on Nosfera.

Gamemasters (Star Warrior & Thantos) def. Military Powers (Paganax & Tharkas) when Warrior used a COSMIC BIG NOVAL LAUNCH on Paganax. Thantos and Warrior were in early trouble but Warrior survived a OBLITERATOR before the Gamemasters made some key tags which allowed Warrior to hand his finisher ending the match earlier than many expected. *
Deadliest of the Species def. Alpha Female w/ The Dark Menace by disqualification when Female rammed Species into the ringside rails. Female and Deadliest battled move for move with Deadliest surviving two DIRE STRAPH finishers and Female getting out of PURIFICATION before the action went to the floor and Female took things too far. **
Abroz & Dialectas are introduced and take seats at ringside to oversea the next round of the Infinity Challenge. Battlezone Match Tristan def. Tricks with a Titan Huracanrana. The Titans are back from suspension and made an immediate impact getting the first fall of the Battlezone after Tristan managed to use his speed to control most of the opening bout. ** ½ 2
Tristan def Symbiosis with a deathjump cross body block. Tristan kept his momentum going and dominated the entire match against his larger fall with quick offensive moves. DUD 3
Zygon def. Tristan with a TRI-CLAW. Tristan finally ran out of steam against the Master Race member who managed to slow the Titan’s attack and work him over in and out of the ring. Tristan managed to make the ropes to escape to TRI-CLAWS but the third one ended his night. ** 2
Zygon def. Plethador w/Skwish with a TRI-CLAW. The fans were psyched to see Plethador but even with his home planet fans behind him and with Skwish at ringside, Plethador was outmatched and became dehydrated allowing Zygon to get back to back submissions. * 3
Nitro def. Zygon with BAD VIBRATIONS. Nitro made the most of his return from suspension and dominated Zygon from bell to bell with his speed and high impact offense. Zygon managed to survive one BAD VIBRATIONS and a second one was not successful before third in a row ended it. * 3
Thraxx def. Nitro with a side power bomb. Nitro had no answers for the power of Thraxx who battered Nitro to the point where he could barely stand and the pin was academic (Nitro’s pin reached 13!). DUD 3
Malkuth def. Thraxx with a deathjump cross body block. Malkuth was able to survive an early assault by the Master Race member and mounted an impressive comeback to get the pin much to the delight to his home planet fans. * ½ 2
Gryt def. Malkuth with a spinebuster. Malkuth looked like he would take this one without too much resistance but the Gryt kicked out of a couple of pin attempts and the referee was taken out of the match. By the time a new official arrived to take over, Gryt was back into the match and then unleashed back to back to back to back STRONGMAN STRETCH submissions but the Ani-Men had an answer each time. The action went back and forth from that point with Gryt coming out on top. *** ½ 2
Gryt def. Overtime with STRONGMAN STRETCH. Overtime hit the ring fired up and took control of this match but a Titan Tower Bomb did not put Gryt away. Gryt made a second impressive comeback and used his finisher several times up Overtime simply could not continue. *** ½ 2
Panther Warrior def. Gryt with JUMGLE NIGHTS. Warrior hit the ring and the fans were out of their seats to great the Ani-Men. Warrior set a fast pace and controlled this match from start to finish hitting his finisher early and then three times before the match was over. * ½ 3
Panther Warrior def. Tanck with a cross body block deathjump. It was power v. speed for the last match of the Battle Zone with victory hanging in the balance. Tanck assumed control and nearly submitted Warrior with a Iron Man Vice but Warrior just managed to escape. Warrior drew on the support of his fans and took control of the match using his finisher four times and also landing an impressive dive to the floor that knocked Tanck for a loop. ****. 2
The lead for Dialectas was cut to 28 to 25 as the Titans return from suspension and it looks like it will be a tight race to determine this year’s Infinity Challenge winners. FDF Reserves (Swarm & Legend Killers (Ensor & Payback) def. Harbinger & BD Ani-Men (Balaal & Mantis) w/The Dark Menace when Swarm used WASP TRAP on Mantis. The fans were all over the Black Death team from the moment they entered the Pavilion so the fans were thrilled when the Reserves took control of this one early on. Harbinger looked almost beatable at times during the match with Swarm almost putting the Black Death leader away and Payback missing his finisher which allowed Harbinger to get out of match. It was an emotional finish with father submitting son at the end. ****
Monolith def. Endgame with a press slam and throw across the ring. This was an intense battle that had controversy in the middle of the contest when the referee went down. Endgame used his finishes three times while the official was down and once the referee recovered, it was all Monolith and he took the win with back to back press slam and throws. **** ½
Interplanetary Champion Paralyze w/The Leveler def. Bishop Hell w/ The Dark Menace by disqualification for smashing Paralyze with a chair. The action was very closely contested and Hell was actually pushing the momentum of the action but took things too far during a brawl on the floor and it cost him the match. **
Gladiators of Aethra (Aethran Overmaster, Galaxian Tag Team Champions Rush & Turmoil) w/The Leveler def. Fight Club (Patch & Ultimate Fighters (Clinch & Shoot) when Turmoil finished Patch with a TOTAL TURMOIL in a Cosmic Cage Match. This was lengthy and bloody war. The Fight Club was able to control the action against the tag team champions particularly with Rush still dealing with a moderate injury but Overmaster was able to turn the tide after a key pin save kept the action going. Overmaster soon found himself in some trouble and the Gladiators were pushed to the brink before they were able to single out Patch and after Leveler tossed a chair into the ring, Turmoil crushed Patch with back to back to back TOTAL TURMOIL finishers for the win. *****

2127.10.50– Deimos Intergalactic Arena, Mars – Galactic Cup 2127
Galactic Cup Round One
Swarm def. Galaxian Champion Havoc w/The Dark Menace with a WASP TRAP. This was a one sided battle from the open bell and only the distraction from Dark Menace kept this match from ending earlier after a VENOMOUS STINGER. *
Endgame w/The Guardian def. Aethran Overmaster w/The Leveler with an ULTIMA LEAP. This was a wild back and forth battle. Overmaster used his power to punish Endgame throughout while Endgame battled back and thrilled the fans with his high flying offense. The interference of Leveler after Endgame connected with an ULTIMA LEAP kept the action going and later Guardian made a key distraction which saved Endgame from being pinned after a Revolutionary Spear and allowed Endgame to storm back and take the victory. *****
PSI w/Guardian def. Interplanetary Champion Paralyze w/The Leveler with MIND OVER MATTER. PSI showed some toughness and took it to the Gladiator on the floor bouncing his head off the ringside table before taking the match back inside the ropes and using his finisher three times in a row to advance to the next round. *
Hector the Holy Brown Bear def. Bishop Hell w/The Dark Menace with I KNOW YOUR SECRET. Hector was focused on defeating his former stable mate from the outset and dominated this match from the opening bell. Menace was able to cause a distraction to save Hell after Hector used his finisher for the first time in the match but could not stop Hector’s momemtum in this impressive victory. **
Mother Superior w/Titan Conflict, Overtime & Payback def. Deadliest of the Species w/Master Race, Symbiosis & She Devil with a roll up after a missed corner charge in a Hydra Lumberjack Match. Superior used Feel My Pain to do some significant damage to her opponent but Deadliest battled back thanks to some chaos on the floor and managed to hit her finisher but a timely attack by the lumberjacks kept the match going until Superior defensive maneuver that gave her the victory. *****
Cage Rage (Anivar & The Betrayer) & Oracle w/The Dark Menace def. Titan Conflict (Nitro & Tristan) & Overtime by disqualification (snake eyes!) when Tristan used a chair to drop The Betrayer during a brawl on the floor. There was plenty of action in this one with Nitro really standing out with his offense. The fans are psyched as Tristan takes the fight to his former tag team partner and the action goes to the floor when the Titan takes things too far. The action carries on after the bell and Tristan puts Betrayer onto a chair and crushes him with a cannon ball of the top followed by Thunder Fire Driver onto the chair. Betrayer needs assistance leaving the ring. ***
Galactic Cup Semi-Finals
Endgame w/The Guardian def. Swarm with a ROLLING FIGURE FOUR. It was back and forth from the opening bell and the match went to the floor where both competitors missed suicide dives. Endgame ended up being able to roll Swarm into the ring after both men were down and out on the floor and applied his finisher for the submission. **

PSI is able to use his PSI Thrust multiple times to keep control of this match from start to finish and advances to the finals. * Galaxian Women’s Champion Shann-Ra def. Back inside, Scorn fired back and made use of a floating vid monitor. The second half of the match stayed mostly in the ring and Ra was able to hit her finisher and claim the victory. ** ½ Galactic Cup Finals
Endgame def. PSI with a ROLLING FIGURE FOUR. The Guardian comes to the ring with Endgame and then leaves ringside after wishing both competitors good luck. Based on the previous two rounds, many thought PSI would be the fresher of the two competitors but Endgame comes out strong and really dominates the action starting with a tope suicida to the floor that knocks the wind out of both men and then using a ROLLING FIGURE FOUR that forces PSI to the ropes. Endgame manages to avoid a PSI Thrust counter and claims the Galactic Cup. ** 1/2
Endgame is presented with the Cup by Commissioner Euritar after the match and will receive an opportunity at the Galaxian Championship. The festivities are interrupted by Monolith who stares down the tournament winner. Galaxian Tag Team Champions Rush & Turmoil w/The Leveler def. Ultimate Fighters (Clinch & Shoot) with THE TEMPEST to Shoot from Rush in a TITAN DEATH MATCH. Rush was still dealing with a moderate injury and the Fighters were able to get the advantage on the Gladiator early in the match as the action spilled outside to the parking lot not once, but twice. The challengers could not get the victory however with KNOCKED OUT on Rush and the Gladiators stormed back focusing their offense on Shoot. TOTAL TURMOIL almost ended it and a key pin save after CHAOS IN THE CROWD kept the action going just long enough for Rush to smash Shoot with a vid monitor and then hit is own finisher. *****
Coven Black w/The Dark Menace def. Helsin with BITE OF THE VAMPIRE in a Cosmic Cage Match. Helsin was able to get the fans out of their sets ramming Black into the cage wall several times rendering him a bloody mess but in the end Black was able to come back and use his finisher back to back to get the victory.
Euritar addressed the media and announces that Tristan has been suspended for six fight cards for his attack on Betrayer.
The Commissioner also announces a new contenders rankings system that will take place immediately. The contenders to the Galaxian Title, Interplanetary and Galaxian Tag Team Titles will be selected from the pick six group. The higher a wrestler is seeded, the more leverage he has in determining the scheduling of championship matches. A ranked wrestler that defeats a higher seeded wrestler assumes that spot in the Pick 6. The losing wrestler and those ranked lower drop one spot in the standings. An unranked wrestler that defeats a Pick 6 contender assumes that wrestler's spot, and everyone lower slides down one rank, with the wrestler ranked number 6 falling out of the Pick 6. Any competitor/team in active for three straight cards will be removed from the pick six standings and a new competitor/team will enter the rankings at number six. Any competitor/team who is unsuccessful who loses cleanly to the reigning champion drops out of the pick six and must battle their way back into contention.

Master Race (Thraxx & Zygon) (4) def. Military Powers (Paganax & Tharkas) (3) by disqualification when Paganax rammed Thraxx into the rails by the fans. This was a solid opener with Master Race dominating at times and getting near wins with POWER OF KROLL on Tharkas but key pin saves keep the action going but things end outside the ring. ***
PSI def. Patch with MIND OVER MATTER. PSI controlled most of this match but Patch provided double tough to put away avoiding defeat after several finisher from PSI but it was MIND OVER MATTER as a defensive counter that sealed the deal. *** ½.
Gamemasters (Thantos & Star Warrior) def. Leaders of the Pack (Malkuth & Panther Warrior) when Thantos finished Malkuth with a top rope clothesline. The Gamemasters cut off the King of the Jungle and kept him in the ring the entire match. A pin save kept the action going after a COSMIC BIG NOVA LAUNCH and Malkuth kicked out after a LEGEND LARIAT but in the end, it was one sided from start to finish. *
Swarm (6) def. Harbinger w/ The Dark Menace with VENOMOUS STINGER. This was over much quicker than many expected with Swarm solving the offensive attack of the leader of the Black Death early and then taking over the match getting the win with his finisher (Snake Eyes) *
Alpha Female w/ The Dark Menace def. Scorn by disqualification when Scorn rammed Female into the rails by the fans. Perhaps a controversial call ended this one much to the displeasure of the fans as Scorn had survived DIRE STRAPH and had come back to take control of the match as things went to the floor. * ½
BD Spellbound (Balaal & Coven Black) w/The Dark Menace def. Ultimate Fighters (Clinch & Shoot) (5) with a BITE OF THE SERPENT to Clinch. The Fighters looked to have this match won in just minutes after an ULTIMATE COMBO KO to Black but Balaal was able to interfere. Clinch cased Balaal around the ring which allowed Black to ambush Clinch turning the momentum of the match and leading directly to the finish. Clinch appears to avoid a lasting affects of the BITE OF THE SERPENT. **
FDF Prime (Helsin & Tauran) (2) def. Cage Rage (Anivar & The Betrayer) w/ The Dark Menace by disqualification when Betrayer smashed Helsin with a chair during a brawl on the floor. This was a solid back and forth battle that went to the floor several times before the referee had finally seen enough. Both teams brawl to the back after the bell. **
Retribution w/Omen def. Nosfera with a Retribution High Hammerlock in a Torture Chamber Match (3-1). Retribution used his submission finishers to dominate the early action but a bloody and battered Nosfera battled back and before the end both men were showing signs of being in a war but Retribution picked up the dominating Nosfera victory. *****
Galaxian Champion Shann-Ra def. She Devil with a roll up. As with the previous battles between these two there was plenty of action to keep the fans on the edge of their seats. Ra went for several pin attempts in the first half of the match and Devil made an impressive comeback including a suicide dive to the floor before hitting her finisher. Ra kicked out of the cover and battled her way back into the action but it was defensive counter that lead Devil crashing into the corner for the roll up finish. *** ½
Interplanetary Champion Paralyze w/The Leveler def. Hector the Holy Brown Bear with PERMAMENTLY PARALYZED. The Gladiator continues to look very impressive as champion and was not really ever in trouble in this one using a HEART TRANSPLANT to set up his finisher and retain the title. * Galaxian Tag Team Champions Rush & Turmoil w/The Leveler def. Legend Killers (Ensor & Payback) (1) with a TRIPLE SUICIDE to Payback. Rush continues to recover from injury and Turmoil was more than happy to work the most of this match for the Gladiators team who controlled this one for the most part from start to finish. * ½
Monolith (1) def. Galaxian Champion Havoc w/The Dark Menace & Endgame (2) w/Guardian with an armless airplane spin on Endgame to win the title. There was clear strategy in this one as both Monolith and Havoc focused their offense on Endgame as opposed to each other and as a result, Endgame took an epic beating and only pin saves from Havoc & Monolith kept the action going until Monolith was able to claim the victory and the title. ****
