2127.16.56– Canopus Civic Colliseum, Carina – GWF Warzone
Symbiosis def. Aethran Overmaster (2) w/The Leveler with EVENT HORIZON. The night started off with a significant upset as Symbiosis was able to gain the upper hand during a brawl on the floor sending the Gladiator leader into the railing by the fans and then striking with his finisher back to back for the win (Snake Eyes) *
Bishop Hell (3) def. Nitro with HELLFIRE. This was a barn burning (grown!) with Nitro thrilling the fans with a series of dives to the floor that did damage to both men. Hell managed to survive BAD VIBRATIONS and was able to counter a deathjump with a roll through for a near fall and then unleashed his controversial finisher for the comeback victory. ***
Overtime def. The Betrayer w/The Dark Menace with OVERTIME RULES. This was non stop action from start to finish with plenty of dives to the floor to keep the fans rocking. Betrayer managed to keep himself alive with several last second kick outs that brought the fans to a frenzy before the Titan hit his finisher for the third time in the match for the win. The action does not stop at the three count as Anivar answers the call of Dark Menace and attacks Nitro after the bell. Overtime is helpless and taken out by a double clothesline. Betrayer then hits a DEATH FROM ABOVE not once but twice. Nitro is jointed by Ani-Men of Andromeda and they break up the attack. *****
Abroz and Dialectas come out and take seats to oversee the next round of the Infinity Challenge.
Tricks def. Plethador with COULROPHOBIA. This was a no contest from start to finish as Tricks drew fantastic heat from the fans and ended the match with his illegal finisher. *
Leaders of the Pack (Malkuth & Panther Warrior) def. Circus Strongmen (Gryt & Tanck) when Malkuth finished Gryt with LORD OF THE POUNCE. Another wild encounter with the Strongmen nearly taking the victory in the opening minutes with back to back STRONGMAN STRETCHES to Warrior but the momentum turned and Gryt was cut off for the balance of the match which was dominated by the Ani-Men team. ****
Galaxian Women’s Champion Shann-Ra def. She Devil with MACHETTE in a non-title match. Another closely contested battle between these two that saw Devil control early but a double knee counter to a turnbuckle charge turned the momentum in favour of the Champion who landed a suicide dive that stunned both competitors and followed with her finisher to complete the comeback. ***
The distance between Abroz and Dialectas is narrowed by one as Dialectas leads the Infinity Challenge 41 to 38. Oracle & BD Ani-Men (Balaal & Mantis) w/The Dark Menace def. FDF Reserves (Swarm & Legend Killers (Ensor & Payback)) when Balaal used BITE OF THE SERPENT on Payback. Lots of back and forth action in this encounter and a key distraction from Menace saved Balaal from ERUPTION OF THARSIS and allowed the Black Death trio to make an impressive comeback cutting off Payback for the last portion of the match. Payback appears to have avoided any infection from Balaal’s finisher. *** ½
Havoc (1) w/The Dark Menace def. Endgame w/The Guardian with a top rope lung blower. Havoc was able to survive a very early ROLLING FIGURE FOUR and came back to dominate this match getting the three count without using his finisher. [Endgame rolled 2 on level 3 defence (his PIN) four times in this match!] **
Galaxian Tag Team Champions Rush & Turmoil w/The Leveler def. FDF Prime (Helsin & Tauran) w/The Guardian when Rush used ADRENALINE RUSH on Tauran for the win. The Gladiators were healthy for the first time in several cards and although the challengers had their moments on offense they never really came close to getting in a position to win with the Gladiators retaining the titles in convincing fashion. **

Thantos wrestled the entire match for the Gamemasters and this one ended quickly as Clinch could get nothing going and gave way to Shoot who was too aggressive when he attempted to turn things around during action at ringside. DUD
Abroz and Dialectas are introduced before the next round of the Infinity Challenge.
Mother Superior def. Deadliest of the Species with MOTHER OF DESTRUCTION. Superior looked very impressive in one and really controlled almost the entire match making use of Feel My Pain to weaken her opponent before using her finisher back to back to claim three big points for Abroz. *
Nitro def. Master Race (Thraxx & Zygon) (3) with a Kinetic Super Kick to Thraxx. With Tristan still suspended, Nitro decides to go it alone against his former allies and puts in the performance of a lifetime supported by the fans at ringside. Thraxx appeared to be in control but Nitro countered a charge into the corner with a still elbow and followed up with the kick to the chin of his match larger foe for the stunning three count. ***
Overtime def. Symbiosis (2) with OVERTIME RULES. Symbiosis dominated this one from the opening bell in and out of the ring but Overtime was able to reverse a whip on the floor sending Symbiosis into the rails. Once the action returned to the ring, Overtime hit is finisher, his first offensive move of the match, for the win despite having a moderate injury. * ½
A complete sweep for Abroz including an inspiring performance from Nitro sends Abroz into the lead 45 to 41 with only two more rounds left in the Infinity Challenge. Harbringer w/The Dark Menace def. Swarm (5) with SOUL TAKER. This was an absolute war from start to finish with Swarm throwing everything he had at the leader of Black Death but he could get no closer than a two and half count after a VENOMOUS STRINGER before Harbringer’s power proved too much for the popular Ani-Men competitor. *****
Alpha Female w/The Dark Menace def. Scorn with SLAVE NO MORE. Scorn looked to be control of the match picking up a pair of near falls but the power of Female lead to a big comeback and the victory for the former Gladiator. **
Nosfera def. Retribution w/Omen in a Four Weapons of Destruction Match with THE DEMON’S BREATH. This started off as a back and forth brutal battle until both men when down after a double clothesline. From that point, Nosfera dominated the match and picked up the feud ending victory over Retribution. ***
FDF Prime (HelSin & Tauran) def. Cage Rage (Anivar & The Betrayer) w/The Dark Menace when Tauran pinned Anivar with a VICTORY STAR DROP. This match spilled all over the Coliseum and out to the parking lot not once but twice before it was all over. The Defense Fighters showed they could brawl with the best of them making liberal use of weapons and they battered their Black Death opponents with chairs, Vid Monitors and the ring steps before Tauran pinned his former tag team partner for the emotional three count. ****
Interplanetary Champion Paralyze w/The Leveler def. Coven Black (6) w/The Dark Menace by disqualification when Black Death members Harbringer and Cage Rage interfered in the match. Paralyze thrashed Black from bell to bell until Menace had to finally call to the back for assistance but Paralyze and Leveler were able to dispense with the intruders. *

Abroz and Dialectas come to ringside for the latest round of the Infinity Challenge.
Symbiosis (3) def. Plethador w/Skwish with EVENT HORIZON. The popular competitor from Andromeda made this match closer than many thought he would but in the end the power of Symbiosis proved to be the difference. *
Master Race (Thraxx & Zygon) (1) def. Leaders of the Pack (Malkuth & Panther Warrior) with a POWER OF KROLL on Warrior. This one ended quickly after Race managed to get Warrior cut off from this corner and hit their finisher for the pin fall (Snake Eyes). Galaxian Champion Shann-Ra battled Deadliest of the Species to a double disqualification. Deadliest was the controversial selection to get this title shot largely due to the Infinity Challenge schedule and she made the most of it and battled the champion move for move until the action went to the floor and both women were not prepared to stop the fight and heed the instructions of the official. **
With just one more round to go, the Infinity Challenge is deadlocked at 45 points each!
Cage Rage (Anivar & The Betrayer) w/The Dark Menace def. Titan Conflict (Nitro & Tristan) when Betrayer used NO ESCAPE on Tristan. The Black Death team managed to cut off Tristan from his corner and worked him over inside and outside the ring. The popular Titan managed to avoid being counted-out twice but had no counter for his former partner’s finisher. Betrayer is not interested in releasing the hold after the bell but Nitro is ready and takes out Anivar with BAD VIBRATIONS before saving Tristan from being injured. The Titans double up and go after Betrayer ending with a ARCANA onto the arena floor. Betrayer is holding his neck as he heads to the back. **
Bishop Hell (5) def. PSI with HELLFIRE. The usual defensive skills of PSI were just not working in this one and Hell controlled most of the bout taking the win after his controversial finisher. *
Circus Strongmen (Gryt & Tanck) def. PDF Prime (Helsin & Tauran) The Guardian by disqualification when Helsin took a chair from Tanck and smashed him with the weapon. Helsin and Tauran were able to control most of this match and it looked like Helsin had the bout won after a STAKE TO THE HEART but Gryt managed to kick out and keep the match going. ** ½

2127.19.59– Aethra War Dome, Aethra– GWF Warzone
Retribution w/Omen def. Oracle w/The Dark Menace by disqualification when Oracle uses a chair to smash Retribution during a brawl on the floor. The size and skills of Retribution gave him the advantage early on but Oracle survive a GROUNDING THE DEMON and battled back to make the match competitor before taking things too far on the floor. * ½
Scorn w/HelSin def. Mistress of Darkness w/Coven Black with a Holy Cross Body Block. The hatred between these two competitors simmered from bell to bell as both executed key counters to keep the action going back and forth but it was the efforts of Scorn that proved superior tonight. ** Swarm def. Nosfera with a VENOMOUS STINGER. The fans anticipated some mayhem from these two but Swarm took immediately control of the action and before long used a Hive Driver to set up his finisher which he used three times in a row to get the victory. *

Superior wrestled a stellar match with the opportunity to seal the victory for team Abroz but despite picking up several near falls and hitting MOTHER OF DESTRUCTON finisher she was unable to get the job done and Devil made an comeback with a impressive offense flurry ending with her finisher. ***
Circus Strongmen (Gryt & Tanck) def. Titan Conflict (Nitro & Tristan) when Gryt used a STRONGMAN STRETCH on Nitro. This was over quickly as Nitro was cut off from his corner and missed three opportunities to get a defensive tag before Gryt used his finisher to get the win and claim the victory for team Dialectas (Snake Eyes!). Dialectas wins the Infinity Challenge 50 to 48. It is his first victory after two straight years of frustration. Despite his loss tonight, Tricks is awarded the singles bonus. Master Race wins the tag team bonus and She Devil claims the women’s bonus paycheck!
Endgame w/The Guardian def. Harbinger (6) w/The Dark Menace with a ROLLING FIGURE FOUR. Endgame took an epic beating in the first half of this encounter as he tried to work around Harbringer’s skillset but managed to turn things around with a pair of suicide dives to the floor and then picked up the submission victory as Menace decided not to attempt to interfere or cause a distraction. *** ½

Gladiators of Aethra (Aethran Overmaster, Rush, Turmoil & Interplanetary Champion Paralyze) w/Leveler when Female used a Death Valley Driver on Rush. This was as wild as you would expect despite the Black Death team losing their connection as a result of Harbringer’s loss just moments before the match. Female is not involved in the action until the sequence leading to the finish and she picks up what might be the biggest pinfall of her career. The Black Death team is quick to leave ringside as War Dome erupts into mayhem. ** ½
It is takes nearly two hours for order to be restored and the War Dome is emptied before the main event can take place! Havoc w/The Dark Menace def. Galaxian Champion Monolith by disqualification. 2127.20.60– Deimos Intergalactic Arena, Mars – Galactic Wars

There was a lot of back and forth in this one including several brawls on the floor but the team experience of the Gamemasters gave them the upper hand and lead them to victory. **
PSI def. Hector The Holy Brown Bear with MIND OVER MATTER. This was a hard fought battle from start to finish with both competitors able to use their finishers but it was PSI defensive skills that gave him the advantage late. ****
Military Powers (Paganax & Tharkas) (2) def. Legend Killers (Ensor & Payback) when Tharkas pinned Ensor after a sit-down powerbomb. The spend and skill of the Killers kept the match in their favour early on but Ensor was soon cut off from his corner and subjected to a precision attack by the Military Powers. * ½

Titan Conflict (Nitro & Tristan) def. Cage Rage (Anivar & The Betrayer) w/The Dark Menace when Nitro used BAD VIBRATIONS on Anivar. The Betrayer was still recovering from his injury and did not spend a great deal of time in the ring as a result. Tristan took a near fall on Anivar and then Nitro followed up with his finisher for the victory. *
Aethran Overmaster (4) w/The Leveler def. Endgame (6) w/The Guardian with a REIGN OF THE OVERMASTER. Endgame was on the defensive early and managed to avoid the Gladiator’s finisher once but moments later the Overmaster was in control again and crushed the leader of the Federation Defense Fighters with the full impact of his finisher for the victory. * ½
Alpha female w/ The Dark Menace def. Deadliest of the Species and Galaxian Women’s Champion Shann-Ra in a Tirion Triple Threat Match with DIRE STRAPH on Deadliest. The action was chaotic at times as expected with Deadliest seeming to be the focus of the action but it was Female who took control late and used her finisher back to back to get the victory. **
Galaxian Tag Team Champions Rush & Turmoil w/Leveler def. Master Race (Thraxx & Zygon) with TOTAL TURMOIL to Zygon. Once the Gladiators were able to cut of Zygon from his partner the beat down was without mercy and the Gladiators continue their impressive run atop the tag team division. *
Symbiosis def. Interplanetary Champion Paralyze w/The Leveler by disqualification when Paralyze shoved the referee to the ground to continue a brawl on the floor. An impressive outing by Symbiosis who managed to frustrate the Champion again and again until the action spilled to the floor for the second time and that is where things ended. **
Galaxian Champion Monolith def. Havoc w/The Dark Menace with I BREAK YOU in a Titan Death Match. This was insanity as Havoc proved he did not need his connection to the Black Death to come very close to reclaiming the Galaxian Title. Tables were smashed early on and the action spilled out to the parking lot before it was all said and done. Monolith keeps his finisher locked on after the bell injuring his challenger as the season ends! ****
The 2127 Year End Awards… Wrestler of the Year. Havoc was impressive in his ten card run as Galaxian Champion but it was Paralyze who was even more dominating as Interplanetary Champion holding the belt for three -quarters of the season and making a strong argument to being the next challenge for the Galaxian Champion in 2128. Paralyze takes home the prize this year.
Tag Team of the Year: The Gladiators take their second award this year as Rush & Turmoil dominated the tag team division with a title reign that currently stands at 16 cards. The Gladiators accomplished this despite a significant injury to Turmoil early in the year. Woman of the Year: Shann-Ra held the Galaxian Women’s Title for the entire year except for two fight cards. Might be a run that will not be matched again.
Most Improved of the Year: Symbiosis came from out to nowhere to become a top challenger for the Interplanetary Championship after a shocking victory over Aethran Overmaster but it was Monolith, who had struggled since returning to action injury in 2126 but managed to springboard from a series of victories over Endgame to capture the Galaxian Heavyweight Title. Monolith takes the award.
Newcomer of the Year: While Harbringer struggled at times to get victories, Balaal managed to work his way into some competitive matches and his team with Coven Black are climbing the rankings. Black Death’s serpent claims the award.

Booker Notes: I have just reviewed Black Death 2128 and the storylines are going to turn my GWF on its ear. First off, there are several roster moves that have thrown me a booking curveball. Shann-Ra is gone and she was my Women’s Champion for the entire 2127 season except for two cards! Her rematch with Alpha Female was going to be a featured attraction early in the 2128 season but those plans are scraped now. Instead, I am booking a Tirion Triple Threat Match at the Deimos Perennial to determine the first challenger for the new Champion. With Phantasy and then Ra departing, the women’s roster is getting thin!
Symbiosis was a top contender for the Interplanetary Title currently held by Paralyze and I had planned to book their rematch, with a stipulation, at the Deimos Perennial but that match is off the books now as well with Symbiosis leaving. Mantis was a strong performer for me as a Black Death member including a win over Monolith so I am curious to see how he will make out after he comes out the other side. Commissioner Euritar addressed the media in the wake of being attacked by members of the Black Death team and assured all in attendance that he was well on the way to recovery and remained fully capable of continuing on as Commissioner. He addressed several orders of business including the following:
• Following the actions of Black Death, the main event of the Deimos Perennial card will see the newly formed Power Force battle End of Days and The Three in an eight-man tag team battle for the ages. • With the departure of former Women’s Champion Shann-Ra, there is no clear number one contender for new Women’s Champion Alpha Female. As a result. She Devil, Mistress of Darkness & Scorn will square off in a Trition Triple Threat Match on the Perennial card to determine who will face Alpha Female on an upcoming Warzone episode. • With the sudden departure of Symbiosis from the GWF, Interplanetary Champion Paralyze has been left without an opponent for the Perennial card. Rumor has it that the Commissioner is experiencing some difficulty finding the champion an opponent and several top contenders have passed on the title opportunity in order to have matches with feuding opponents. The Commissioner has assured the fans that the title will be defended at Deimos but it is unclear exactly who the challenger will be. • After the recent events and burning incident between Hector the Holy Brown Bear and Bishop Hell, the former stable mates have been booked to clash at the Deimos Perennial in a Titan Death Match! Extra medical personnel will be brought in and stationed at ringside for the event to ensure the safety of the fans and the competitors.
• Tauran has had enough of his former partner and has challenged Anivar to an Earth Ladder Match at The Deimos Perennial. The prize hanging above the ring will be a contract for the first opportunity of 2128 at the Galaxian Title currently held by Monolith! • With so many roster shifts, the Commissioner has reset his pick six contender’s system. A new list of contenders will be announced at the conclusion of the Perennial card.

• Also on the episode, Galaxian Women’s Champion Alpha Female will defend the title against the winner of tonight’s Tiron Triple Threat Match Scorn
• The Commissioner confirmed that as a result of his victory tonight over Tauran, Anivar will receive a title shot against Galaxian Champion Monolith on the 2018.04.64 edition of GWF Warzone.
• Speaking of title matches, the first match for Cosmic Clash (2018.05.65) has been signed as Panther Warrior will get a rematch against Interplanetary Champion Paralyze after defeating the champion tonight via count-out. However, Warrior will not have to wait to get into the ring with Paralyze until then as Warrior will be jointed by Swarm and Mantis on the next GWF Warzone to take on The Gladiators in six-man action
• After the wild six-man tag team encounter between Fight Club and Council of War tonight, Paganax will take on Patch in singles action on the next GWF Warzone. • Finally, the Commissioner announced the first pick six listing for 2128 and reminded fans that title challenges will be picked from this list.
Pick Six: 1. Anivar 2. Bishop Hell 3. Panther Warrior 4. Nitro 5. Havoc 6. Paganax
1. BD Arcana 2. Reconciliation 3. BD Danger 4. Gamemasters 5. Warriors Born 6. Immortals
Promoter Notes: The win by Panther Warrior shook up my original booking plans. I had planned to have Paralyze challenge Monolith in a title v. title match at Cosmic Clash but Warrior’s win has changed those plans and the Ani-Man will get his return match first.

The Commissioner urged all of the GWF rosters, regardless of how they feel about the fans or each other, to take advantage of this situation while it lasts!

The Commissioner would not comment on the rumours that Omen had reached a deal with The Dark Menace to appear at ringside for the match. • With Galaxian Champion Monolith successful retaining his title tonight with a clean victory over Anviar, the Commissioner confirms that Anviar is removed from the pick six and with that move, there is a vacancy in the pick six rankings. The Commissioner announces that End of Days has been awarded the sixth spot in the pick six and now is in contention for a future title shot • The Commissioner confirmed that regardless of the outcome of the Titan Death Match between Galaxian Women’s Champion Alpha Female and Scorn at Cosmic Clash, the winner of that match will defend the title on the 2128.06.66 Warzone at the Tethys Sports Centre on Saturn against She Devil.
