The Road Warriors and Stan Hansen d The Midnight Express and Ric Flair when Flair fell victim to the Doomsday Device.
-Hansen was not happy that Hawk and Animal refused to tag him in at all during this match.

After the match: Burns started mocking Santo's mask, and kicking him. Santo tried to fight back but he was already weak from the match. Burns locked in the chicken wing and refused to let go until Santo was screaming in pain.


Terry Gordy slipped by Terry Funk with the Piledriver


Buddy Rogers made short work of Misawa. He locked in the Figure Four Grapevine early and wouldn't let go even after the referee called for the bell. He only let it go when the referee threatened to disqualify him.

1st Fall- Animal gets pinned after taking the Decapitator
2nd Fall Road Warriors blasted Smash with the Doomsday Device
3rd Fall- Animal is DQ'd for trying to mutilate Ax with one of their spikes.

Global Elite Tag Team Title Match: The Midnight Express (Champions) vs The Minnesota Wrecking Crew
1st Fall- Both teams are counted out for brawling outside the ring. The ref has to get help to regain control and get the match started again.
Commentary: Charlotte Flair points out that one team has to win two straight falls now and she doesn't think that's likely.
2nd fall- Condrey pinned Ole with an Elbow Slingshot
3rd Fall- Condrey pinned Ole with an Elbow Slingshot
After the Match: As the Midnight was getting ready to leave, Gene knocked Eaton to the floor and the Wrecking Crew locked in on Condrey's shoulder Ole drove a knee into the shoulder over and over. Eaton finally hit the ring and Ole and Gene left but the damage was done.
In the locker room: As soon as the Midnight Express gets to the back, Eaton grabs his phone and hits the speed dial. He tells the other person on the phone what happened. “When can you get here? Good. We need you!”

Global Elite Title Match: Bruno Sammartino (Champion) vs Lou Thesz
First Fall- Both men managed to escape the other's finisher, but Sammartino managed to win the fall with the backbreaker rack.
Second Fall- Thesz gets the duke with the Greco-Roman Backdrop
Third Fall- Thesz gets the win with the stepover toehold facelock

This was a tough match with all four men taking and inflicting lots of damage.
First fall- Bobby Eaton pinned Gene Anderson with the Alabama Jam
Second Fall Ole pinned Condrey with a diving knee to the shoulder
Third Fall- The Anderson's were in complete control at this point, working Condrey's already hurt shoulder. When it looked like the Anderson's would become champions, a figure could be seen run ning down the aisle. As Eaton distracted the referee this man jumped on the apron and whacked Gene in the head with a tennis racket!! The Midnight Express wins and they have been joined by Jim Cornette!!
