Thanks for the feedback, fellas!
I think those of you who play a set amount of cards per month are on the right track. 4-5 cards a month sounds about right. Maybe I do two small shows (WWF Superstars, NWA on TBS at 6:05) then one big RAW and one big NITRO a month along with any super cards that may fall in that month. My problem is I am technically running 2 LOW feds even though I write it as one Monday Night Wars fed.

I only play LOW and Indies, though my LOW fed takes place in the same universe and time frame as the CotG fed I plan to restart one of these days. Back when I could play, I would generally alternate cards between my various "brands." Sometimes I would get on a roll and do two or three shows for, say, MLW or CWA, or even Chikara (not sure if I am going to bother continuing that one). But mostly, I would just alternate them; they were different enough that each card felt fresh after a "palate cleansing" of the other two. Of course, I can't play anything right now as my fiancé and I are living in a fricking hotel (not as much fun as it sounds) due to a fire in our apartment complex. Only smoke damage to our apartment, thank goodness, but everything inside has to be decontaminated and cleaned--including all my Filsinger Games supplies. Can't wait to get back home and get back to the action! That's a huge bummer. Glad though it could have been worse. Here is hoping you guys get situated back at home soon. Amen. Very sorry to hear about that @poisonedshadows. Here's to hoping you guys get back home soon.

Hey Swarm! I'm hopelessly addicted to compressing both into one fed, I can't help it. For me there's just too many irresistible possibilities and compelling choices. Interesting poll!

I play both at the same time. But, this is exactly why I went to my title tour model, as playing full-blown feds in both worlds (LOW and COTG) was just too much. I'd play one for a while, jump over to the other fed....and promptly lose my place/momentum in the fed I'd set aside! The title tour model works better for running multiple feds, at least for my feeble head.

I can concur that living in a hotel is not as fun as it sounds. Years ago when I managed a HoJo in ATL the owner required I live on property. At first it sounded great. No rent, no commute. It got old after a couple weeks. Also if called in it was hard to tell them it would be awhile till I got there.

It got old after a couple weeks. Also if called in it was hard to tell them it would be awhile till I got there. Lol at that last part. Years ago I worked for a mortgage company in Atlanta (Amerisave) and lived in a hotel for several weeks while training (on Peachtree street so right in the middle of everything). Like you said, it was great at first and got old fast. One day it was well over 100 degrees and I got myself stuck in a stairwell of our office building. Total nightmare. We had a meeting the day before on the 10th floor but on this day we were meeting on the 9th floor and I forgot. So after taking the elevator to the 10th floor I decided I’ll just take the stairs down to the 9th floor no big deal - except that the door to the 9th floor is locked. So I go back up to the 10th floor to get back on the elevator and the stairwell door to the 10th floor is locked too. F^*k. You see where this is going. 8th floor, locked. 7th floor, locked etc....I’m absolutely sweating buckets by now between the heat and the panic. I get all the way down to the 1st floor and thank God it opens - I must have looked like Ace Ventura in the scene where he comes out of the bathroom - I’m soaking wet and just happy to be alive. So that’s my Atlanta story. I don’t use stairwells anymore.

I'd play one for a while, jump over to the other fed....and promptly lose my place/momentum in the fed I'd set aside! I notice this too. When playing the GWF my imagination is always churning until I start playing LOW then it’s tough to turn that off.

I like to play both federations at the same time I try not to neglect one for the other though sometimes you get really hot in one fed while the other cools off lol

Play both, one week is COTG then the following is LOW. I throw in Kronos/CWF for a weekend. ROH, SHIMMER, and CHIKARA have been added with CHIKARA added to COTG as a future setting but might be swept into LOW soon.
