Thank you for the comments. Yep, reDRagon surprised me. The dice sure liked them. They will have their trophy presentation on Nitro. What could go wrong? While trophy presentations in wrestling tend to go awry they do have a bit better record than weddings, birthday cakes and contract signings. I remember Bret Hart receiving the 1991 WWF Wrestler Of The Year Award without incident. If he was still with the company at the time it would have been great to see Bad News Brown come out and get revenge for Wrestlemania 4.

January Week 2, Year 2
WWF Raw
Gorilla Monsoon: Welcome to Raw. We have a fun show tonight.
Bobby Heenan: Are you announcing your retirement?
Gorilla Monsoon: Stop it, Bobby. We have tag team action with the Midnight Rockers, Antonio Inoki has a match and in our main event Andre the Giant will take on PG-13 in a handicap tag match.
Bobby Heenan: That does not sound like a fair match. President Jack Tunney should allow PG-13 to have one more tag partner. Maybe two.
Midnight Rockers vs Killer Bees
The Killer Bees were on a roll early and made a pair of pin attempts on Shawn Michaels including after their tag team finisher. The Midnight Rockers fought back and Shawn hit Jim Brunzill with Sweet Chin Music. To everyone's surprise Jim kicked out. Shawn was not concerned as he waited for Jim to get to his feet. Then a second Sweet Chin Music put Jim away.
Winner: Midnight Rockers by pinfall (3 stars)
A promo for the next PPV coming at the end of the month. It is time for the Royal Rumble. Who will enter the Rumble and win bragging rights not to mention a big fat check? Here is a look at who has officially entered the Rumble.
- Big John Studd - Adrian Adonis - Blackjack Mulligan - Antonio Inoki - "TN Cowboy" James Storm - "Wildcat" Chris Harris - Mark Henry - Rowdy Roddy Piper - Kurt Angle - King Kong Bundy
More names to come.
Antonio Inoki w/Mr. Fuji vs Frogman Leblanc
Inoki dominated the action from bell to bell. He hit a belly to back suplex but Leblanc was able to kick out. Inoki simply laughed and used his Enzuijiri finisher to put Leblanc away in a squash.
Winner: Antonio Inoki via pinfall (1 star)
A black and white video from nWa. It uses quick clips and cut aways to other camera angles. Buddy Rogers talks about how at the Royal Rumble he will beat Bret Hart and add the WWF World title to the World Tag Team titles they already have. There is nothing Bret can do about it. But he is not completely cold hearted. After taking Bret's title he is willing to be Bret's buddy.
Adrian Adonis vs Don "The Rock" Muraco
Muraco was overwhelmed by Adonis and lost the match when Adonis put him in Goodnight Irene.
Winner: Adrian Adonis by sleeper/submission (1 star)
Next week WWF will crown their first ever Light Heavyweight Champion. There will be an eight man gauntlet match. Two men will be picked at random to start the match. When one loses he will be replaced with another. This will continue until only one man is left. He will be the Light Heavyweight Champion. Who are these eight men? Let's look at them. As each name is mentioned a short video is shown with some of their highlights.
Marshe Rockett Kid Lykos Rey Horus Son of Havoc "Speedball" Mike Bailey Killshot Matt Sydal Jigsaw
Andre the Giant vs PG-13 in a Handicap tag match
PG-13 knew they had their work cut out for them. So, they jumped Andre as soon as the bell rang. The referee told them one of them had to go to their corner but they ignored him for a couple minutes. J.C. Ice tried to pin Andre after a double team move. Andre was never in trouble as he kicked out before one. Then Andre went to work on one man and then the other. He had Wolfie D in trouble. Andre wanted to make sure any pin attempt would not be interupted so he went and knocked J.C. Ice off of the apron before hitting a Big Splash on Wolfie D. That was all she wrote.
Winner: Andre the Giant via pinfall (2 stars)
Buddy Rogers and The Invaders come down after and join Andre in the ring. The Invaders send J.C. Ice and Wolfie D flying over the top rope and crashing onto the floor. The nWa stand tall in the ring as Raw ends.
WCW Nitro
Nitro comes on the air with a video package looking at the highlights of the Crocket Cup tournament from this past weekend. All leading to reDRagon winning the Crockett Cup.
Tony Schiavone: Welcome to Nitro. Boy the Crockett Cup sure was an exciting event.
Larry Zbyszko: Yes, it was. I was surprised that reDRagon won the Cup.
Tony Schiavone: We will see them later as they are officially presented the Crockett Cup trophy. But before that we, man I cannot believe I am saying this, but we will see Zicky Dice defend his title in a Western States Wrestling North West United States Heavyweight Champion, North Dakota version title match.
Larry Zbyszko: That sure was a mouthful, Tony.
Tony Schiavone: You have no idea. Like Disco Inferno I am still amazed that is a real thing. We will also see Mike Rotunda, Drew Galloway and Big Van Vader in action. Vader's match will be our main event and it is a non-title match. Let's go to the ring for our opening match. It is Zicky's title match.
The champion came down and pointed to his opponent to Disco Inferno. Zicky looked disrespected.
"The Midnight Lover" Zicky Dice w/Disco Inferno vs Mike Jackson in a Western States Wrestling, North West United States Heavyweight Champion, North Dakota Version title match
The bell rang to start the match and Zicky laughed at Mike. The laughter ended as Mike started rocking him with punches. That got the attention of Zicky and he went to work. The champ did not struggle too much and while he did not win after his first finisher the second Zickity Do Dah finally stopped Mike's chances.
Winner: Zicky Dice via pinfall (2 stars)
After the match Zicky was celebrating. He walked over to the announcer's desk and asked them if they saw how he destroyed Mike Jackson.
Larry Zbyszko: Ok, ok. Calm down junior.
Zicky Dice: Excuse me? Shut your mouth old man before I slap you into the retirement home.
Larry Zbyszko: Keep running your mouth and I will show you who is old.
He starts to stand up, but Tony grabs his arms and tells Larry to ignore Zicky and focus on the job.
At that Zicky pulls back his hand as if was about to backhand Larry but it was just a threat. Disco shakes his head and walks off. Zicky sees him leave and takes off after him.
Mike Rotunda vs DJ Z w/Larry Sweeney
DJ Z looked to make short work of Mike Rotunda and almost pinned him after a Moonsault. It took a few minutes but Rotunda was able to fight back and get some of his offense in. Both men made pin attempts with no success. Once DJ Z hit his finisher, ZDT, he finally got the pin.
Winner: DJ Z by pinfall (3 stars)
Back from the commercial break and we see a table with tablecloth and the Crockett Cup sitting on top up on the stage. Tony Schiavone is standing there. He talks about how this past weekend reDRagon won the Crockett Cup tournament and it is time to present them with the trophy. The team of reDRagon comes out to a nice cheer. Tony hands them the trophy and they both grasp it and hold it high. Then Powers of Pain come running out and attack reDRagon from behind. They send reDRagon spilling down the entrance ramp. Just as they are about to follow up on the attack The James Gang rush out and attack Powers of Pain. As those two tag teams are throwing fists The Russians tag team comes out and they attack The James Gang. By then reDRagon recovered and joined in the wild brawl. Security and officials come out trying to pull the four teams apart as Nitro goes back to commercials.
Drew Galloway vs "Raging Bull" Manny Fernandez
It looked like Drew was going to have a short night early on as he was completely in control. He tossed Manny into the ropes which Tony called an "Irish whip" but Larry corrected him by saying it was a "Scottish whip". Drew hit his finisher but Manny kicked out. It seemed to throw Drew off his game as Manny was able to start hitting some moves. He made a pin attempt with no success. Manny went on to his his finisher a pair of times but Drew kicked out after each one. The match ended up being really good as both men fought hard to finish the other one off. An Ego Trip from Drew finally led to the pin.
Winner: Drew Galloway via pinfall (4 stars)
A promo for the next PPV event, Superbrawl coming in February.
Before the main event begins the camera catches AJ Styles up in the rafters settling in to watch the action.
Big Van Vader vs Jushin "Thunder" Liger in a non-title match
The champion relied on his size and power to beat down the challenger. Big Van Vader felt he was going to have an easy night. After Liger kicked out from one pin attempt Vader hit his Released Power Bomb and made a casual cover. Liger kicked out and Tony questioned if Vader woudl come back to regret his cover. The champ followed up with a Vader Bomb but once again Liger showed he had a lot of fight in him as he kicked out. Vader lost his cool and then his focus as he swung wildly at Liger who kept ducking. Liger fought back for a couple minutes and went for the victory with a Fisherman's Buster but Vader was able to kick out. That was sadly Liger's best chance. Vader finally refocused and got going on offense. It still took some time but a suplex led to Vader getting the win.
Winner: Big Van Vader by pinfall (3 stars)
ECW Chaos
Shane Douglas, Francine and Mr. Hughes are standing in the interview area as Chaos comes on air.
Shane Douglas: Ha, ha. Once again the Franchise Shane Douglas is two steps ahead of everyone. I caught Ken Shamrock off guard with the Roughneck, Mr. Hughes. He came in and laid out that supposedly "World's Most Dangerous Man". He sure did not look so dangerous laid out on his back in the ring. I would suggest Shamrock pack his bags and leave ECW. Otherwise Mr. Hughes will just keep beating him down. Again. Again. And Again. Ha, ha. Show them Mr. Hughes.
With that the big man started to walk toward the camera. The shot went to the side and then up toward the ceiling before going to static.
Joey Styles: Welcome to Chaos and...did you see that? Did Mr. Hughes just lay out our cameraman? Can someone check on him? It is getting dangerous around here. Let's go to the ring for our opening match.
RVD vs Chris Sabin
Fans were pumped to see of the two most exciting wrestlers in the business today. They never got to see the match that they anticipated. Sabin got the jump on RVD and after only a minute he hit Hail Sabin. It did not get him the win but clearly stunned RVD and had him off his game. Not long after a second Hail Sabin led to the pin. The move and the fact Sabin placed his feet on the rope for some extra leverage.
Winner: Chris Sabin via pinfall (1 star)
Sabin leaves the ring and starts to walk up the ramp but keeping his attention on RVD. In the ring RVD is telling the referee that Sabin had his feet on the ropes but the referee motions that he did not see anything. RVD turns toward Sabin to ask "what was that" and Sabin just shrugs his shoulders and holds his hands up.
Inside the dimly lit lair of the Army of Darkness showing Kevin Sullivan sitting in his royal chair with B.J. Whitmer kneeling before him, head lowered.
Kevin Sullivan: I thought we were done with that pizza delivery man Tommy Dreamer. But like a bad penny he popped up once again. I have got you a match with him on the next Chaos. You need to end him. I have other plans for you and we need to focus on that. Not the punk Dreamer.
B.J. Whitmer: I will not fail you father.
The Pitbulls w/Stevie Richards vs War Machine
A hard-hitting match between two rough and tough teams. Early on War Machine had the advantage. Then The Pitbulls fought back. Both teams used double teaming moves and made pin attempts. Neither team wanted to go down easy and they didn't. Eventually The Pitbulls hit a Super Bomb on Hanson then Pitbull #1 made the cover.
Winner: The Pitbulls by pinfall (3 stars)
There is a special announcement that there will be a special event on TV titled The Night The Line Was Crossed. It will happen next weekend. In the main event it will be The Sheik vs Super Crazy in a No Holds Barred, Last Man Standing match.
Joey Styles: Did I hear right? The Sheik vs Super Crazy? In a No Holds Barred, Last Man Standing match? Are things not crazy and dangerous enough around here? Now we are letting these two nut jobs have free reign in a match to do whatever they want. I am just glad I do not have to pay the insurance bill for ECW. The rates are going to skyrocket. Can I call in sick that day? I think I might do that.
Alex Shelley vs Abdullah the Butcher w/Sir Oliver Humperdink in an ECW TV Championship match
This match was a clash of styles, and it was everything anyone could hope for. Alex Shelley would use his speed and agility to put Abdullah on the defensive for a while and then Abdullah would get his hands on Alex and use his size and strength to beat down on the champ. Abdullah used a Sudanese Meat Cleaver, but Alex kicked out. The match went to the floor a couple times and both men fought wildly. They used chairs on each other and tossed each other into the barricade and ring stairs.
Back in the ring Alex got rolling and tried to end the match with Border City Stretch. But Abdullah fought out of the hold. WIth his man in trouble Humperdink motioned to the back and Masked Madness ran down to the ring. As Humperdink kept the referee's attention Masked Madness entered the ring and jumped Alex. He tried to fight them off but the numbers game was too much. Then Masked Madness rolled out of the ring and stood by Humperdink to watch Abdullah go on the attack. It took a couple more minutes but finally Abdullah beat Alex with a Sudanese Meat Cleaver. We have a new ECW TV Champion.
Winner: Abdullah the Butcher via pinfall to win the title (4 stars)
Sir Oliver Humperdink ordered Masked Madness to enter the ring and attack Alex Shelley. Masked Madness and Abdullah the Butcher are beating down Alex when Chris Sabin comes running out from the back. He slides in the ring and rocks all three men with dropkicks. He jumps on Abdullah and is pounding away on him with fists when he is pulled of Abdullah by Masked Madness. Chris puts up a good fight but again the numbers game ends up being the difference. As Chaos ends Abdullah the Butcher holds up the TV Championship belp that Humperdink handed to him as he and Masked Madness stand over the bodies of Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin.
PWI News and Notes:
Bad Influence (Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian) won the NWA-TNA Tag Team Championship tournament to be crowned the new champions.
The Backseat Boyz (Johnny Kashmere and Trent Acid) won the ROH World Tag Team Championship.
Shaun Ricker won the CWFH Heritage Heavyweight Championship.
There is supposed to be some big news coming out of NWA-Wildside soon.

Fun stuff as usual!
As always you perfectly capture the chemistry that Gorilla and Bobby had.
If I had been reDragon I probably would have just casually snuck out of the ring during that tag team brawl. "If you guys want to beat the tar out of each other that's your business but we're out of here."

Thank you. As I've said before I always enjoyed Gorilla and Heenan so it tends to come easily. I just hear their voices in my head and can find what seems like something they'd say.

January Week 3, Year 2
WWF Raw
Gorilla Monsoon: Hello and welcome to WWF Raw. Tonight, we crown the first ever WWF Light Heavyweight Champion.
Bobby Heenan: I saw some of the guys who will be competing, and they are smaller than one of my legs.
Gorilla Monsoon: Knock it off Bobby. Eight men will be competing to be the champion. Two men picked in a random draw will start the gauntlet match. When one loses he is done and is replaced by another randomly picked wrestler. This will continue until seven men are eliminated and only one stands alone as the winner and Light Heavyweight Champion. Let's go to the ring to see who the first two combatants are.
First out was Jigsaw. He was followed by Rey Horus.
Rey Horus vs Jigsaw in a Light Heavyweight Championship gauntlet match
A fun opening match that saw Jigsaw get in a bit of offense before Rey took over and did not let up. He finished Jigsaw with his finisher, Pizza DDT.
Winner: Rey Horus via pinfall to move on (2 stars)
Next out was "Speedball" Mike Bailey.
"Speedball" Mike Bailey vs Rey Horus in a Light Heavyweight Championship gauntlet match
Poor Bailey never got a chance to get going. Rey jumped on him and kept the pressure on. He hit a 450 Splash and went for the cover, but Bailey kicked out. It was a Spanish Fly that did Bailey in.
Winner: Rey Horus by pinfall to move on (1 star)
A promo for the next PPV coming at the end of the month. It is time for the Royal Rumble. Who will enter the Rumble and win bragging rights not to mention a big fat check? By the way, that check went from $25K last year to $35K this year. Here is a look at who has officially entered the Rumble.
- Big John Studd - Adrian Adonis - Blackjack Mulligan - Antonio Inoki - "TN Cowboy" James Storm - "Wildcat" Chris Harris - Mark Henry - Rowdy Roddy Piper - Kurt Angle - King Kong Bundy - Shawn Michaels - Don Muraco - Virgil - Keith Steinborn
Next out in the gauntlet match was "Mr. M80" Marshe Rockett, the tallest man in the tournament.
"Mr. M80" Marshe Rockett vs Rey Horus in a Light Heavyweight Championship gauntlet match
Once again Rey Horus attacks his opponent right off the bat and makes short work of them. It took him only a couple minutes to secure the win to move on. He took out the larger man with a Cazador Bomb to secure the easy victory.
Winner: Rey Horus via pinfall to move on (1 star)
Rey Horus paced in the ring like an animal waiting for his prey. The next man out is one with experience and should be a tougher foe than the past couple. It is Matt Sydal.
Matt Sydal vs Rey Horus in a Light Heavyweight Championship gauntlet match
Horus once again went after his opponent as soon as he entered the ring. He used an overhead suplex into the corner on Matt and went for the cover but Matt kicked out. Matt was able to turn the tables on Rey after a minute and went on the attack. He hit his finisher, Shooting Sydal Press, but Rey kicked out. For the first time tonight Rey was really in trouble. It got worse a bit later when Matt hit Aftershock and hooked Rey's legs. The referee counted to three and Rey's night was over as Matt moved on.
Winner: Matt Sydal by pinfall to move on (2 stars)
Gorilla Monsoon: Rey Horus put on a good performance, but he ran out of gas it seems. I think we will see more of him in the WWF.
Bobby Heenan: It is the bad luck of the draw getting picked to kick off the gauntlet match. It means you have to beat seven other men to win it all. It is the same thing we will see in the Royal Rumble match at the PPV. You want to be the last man to enter the match as it gives you a better chance of being the last man in it.
Gorilla Monsoon: As astute observation Bobby.
Bobby Heenan: Of course. Hey, don't sound so surprised.
The next man to come out for the match is Killshot.
Killshot vs Matt Sydal in a Light Heavyweight Championship gauntlet match
This was the best match of the night by far. Killshot came in and caught Sydal flatfooted. He used elbow strikes and an enzuigiri to rock Sydal. Things were going Killshot's way until he went to the high rent district. He jumped off the top rope but was caught by Matt who put Killshot on his shoulders. Then Matt hit an F5 and went for the cover, but Killshot kicked out.
The match went back and forth for a few minutes. Killshot relied on his power advantage to beat down on Matt. Both men made pin attempts but neither man tried their finisher. Killshot used a missile dropkick and a pair of Killshot Drops to set Matt up for a slingshot double stomp that earned him the pin win.
Winner: Killshot via pinfall to move on (4 stars)
A promo video that first shows a hand holding open a door at a mall and a lady walking up. The hand lets go of the door and it shuts. The lady says, "how rude". Then it shows a different woman looking at her outfit in a mirror. She turns toward someone off camear and asks how does the dress look. A hand comes into the shot and gives a thumbs down. She says, "how rude". Finally, a man is about to grab the last bottle of beer in a cooler when a hand shots in and grabs it first. The guy gets an upset look on his face and says, "how rude".
The next wrestler comes out. It is Kid Lykos. Gorilla Monsoon points out he is next to the last one. Meaning the last man to enter the gauntlet match will be Son of Havoc.
Kid Lykos vs Killshot in a Light Heavyweight Championship gauntlet match
Kid Lykos had been watching the matches as he saw getting the early jump goes a long way to winning a match. So, he was all business as he entered the ring and locked up with Killshot. For his part Killshot had a tough match with Sydal and was not at 100%. The two put on a good match with each man having their chances at the pin. Killshot hit his 450 Splash finisher but Kid Lykos kicked out. Killshot went to the top rope but Kid Lykos recovered and ran up the ropes and nailed Killshot with a cutter off the top. Kid Lykos tried a couple pins to no avail. Then Killshot fought back. A second 450 Splash got only a two count. But Killshot sensened the end was near and went and hit his finisher for a third time. As they say, third times the charm.
Winner: Killshot by pinfall to move on (3 stars)
As Monsoon pointed out earlier, the last man out was Son of Havoc. A very tired Killshot waited for him in the ring.
Son of Havoc vs Killshot in the final Light Heavyweight Championship gauntlet match
Son of Havoc knew his opponent was ripe for the picking and took full advantage of that. When he entered the ring Killshot, also knowing he was in trouble and had to try and win the match fast, lunged at Son of Havoc who ducked. Son of Havoc hit a cartwheel plancha. He followed up with a standing shooting star press. Then it was a Space Flying Tiger Drop. He hooked Killshot's leg and got the pin to end the really short match.
Winner: Son of Havoc via pinfall to win the Light Heavyweight Championship (1 star)
Son of Havoc is handed the Light Heavyweight Championship belt, and he places it around his waist.
Bobby Heenan: See Monsoon, I told you. Son of Havoc was the last to enter the match and he easily won it because of that.
Gorilla Monsoon: Yes, yes Brain. You were right. Just be careful you do not pull your shoulder out of the socket from patting yourself on the back too hard. There it is a new champion in WWF as Son of Havoc is the first ever WWF Light Heavyweight Champion. Thank you for watching and we will see you next week on a brand new Raw.
WCW Nitro
Tony Schiavone: This is WCW Nitro. I am Tony Schiavone and as you may have noticed I am by myself tonight. Larry had to take care of some personal stuff and took the day off. I hope everything is well with you, Larry. Now on to tonight's show.
The James Gang vs The Russians
There is heat between these two teams and this match did not fix that. B.G. James started against Nikita Koloff and he hit Nikita and did a crotch chop. That just angered Nikita. He started pounding on B.G. and tossed him out of the ring. Then Nikita went out after B.G. and once on the floor he grabbed the chain he brought down to the ring and hit B.G. with it. That was the end of the match.
Winner: The James Gang via disqualification (1 star)
Kip James ran over to attack Nikita which brought Ivan over. The Russians were beating down Kip when officials and security ran out and pulled the men apart. Then Chyna started to walk down the ramp. Ivan was yelling at her and it looked like security was going to lose control but The James Gang gathered Chyna and the three returned to the back.
A promo for tonight's main event which will see the Road Warriors defend the World Tag Team Championship against the #1 contenders, Midnight Express.
Zicky Dice and Disco Inferno came down for Zicky's next title defense. They waited on Zicky's opponent and when he came out everyone was surprised. It was a man not seen in a wrestling ring for a long time. It was the Living Legend Larry Zbyszko. Zicky and Disco pointed and laughed. Tony Schiavone says he can't believe it. Larry's "personal business" was a title match. And he didn't tell Tony about it.
"The Midnight Lover" Zicky Dice w/Disco Inferno vs Living Legend Larry Zbyszko in a Western States Wrestling, North West United States Heavyweight Championship, North Dakota version Championship match
Larry had not been in the ring for quite some time, and it was obvious from his ring rust. He got in a couple moves and then Zicky got going. He had the match on lock, but Larry was not going to do down easy. He kicked out after a Zickity Do Dah three times. So, Zicky went up a level and hit Snake Rattle & Roll. That was enough for Zicky to get the win and defend his title successfully.
Winner: Zicky Dice by pinfall to retain (2 stars)
A promo from reDRagon. They said they have unfinished business with the Powers of Pain so they will be showing up on Nitro sooner or later to finish that business.
Brad Armstrong vs Doug Gilbert
A short match that saw things go south for Doug after throwing Brad into a corner. He ran in and Brad sent Doug flying over the turnbuckle and crashing onto the ground. That really took the air, and fight, out of Doug. Once he crawled back into the ring Brad worked to end the match which came after a Russian Leg Sweep.
Winner: Brad Armstrong via pinfall (1 star)
A promo for the next PPV event, SuperBrawl II coming in February.
Road Warriors w/Paul Ellering vs Midnight Express w/James E Cornette and Ric Flair in a WCW World Tag Team Championship match
Hawk and Bobby Eaton started for their teams. Hawk took Bobby down with a pair of arm drags. After a body slam he tagged Animal and they leveled Bobby with a double clothesline. Animal took Bobby out to the floor and tossed him into the barricade. The referee came out to the floor but was stopped by Ric Flair. Ric was trying to distract the referee so James could hit Animal with his tennis racket. James smashed the racket onto Animal's back but the referee caught him. The referee called for the bell.
Winner: Road Warriors by disqualification to retain the titles
Hawk checks on Animal as the referee keeps the Midnight Express, Cornette and Flair from getting in any cheap shots.
ECW Chaos
Joey Styles: It's time for another exciting Chaos. Our last one before the special this Saturday, The Night The Line Was Crossed. That will be a wild and crazy night. But first we have a great Chaos. Let's get to it and not waste any more time.
Tommy Dreamer vs B.J. Whitmer
It looked like Tommy was going to beat B.J. once again and rather easily. He was in control and had B.J. in a lot of trouble. B.J. rolled out to the floor and Tommy went out after him. That was Tommy's one mistake and it was costly. B.J. fought him and won the exchange. Back in the ring it did not take long and B.J. used a Wrist Clutch Exploder to finisher Tommy off.
Winner: B.J. Whitmer via pinfall (2 stars)
A promo from RVD.
RVD: I lost to Chris Sabin recently thanks to a blind referee. Well, I am going to make sure that does not happen again. When I get my rematch with Sabin, I will make sure to have a special referee for our match. One that will call it right down the middle.
Sami Callihan vs One Man Gang w/Sir Oliver Humperdink
OMG was standing in the ring when the lights went out. When they came back on Sami was standing in the ring across from him. The two had one hell of a match. Each man having his chances. One Man Gang took a firm grip of the match when he and Sami went to the floor. Gang lifted Callihan and slammed him into the ring post a few times. The action went back inside the ring and Gang hit a 747 Splash. Sami rolled his shoulders and got one off the mat before being pinned. It just delayed the ending as a second 747 Splash led to his being pinned.
Winner: One Man Gang by pinfall (3 stars)
A promo for The Night The Line Was Crossed special this weekend. Along with the match between The Sheik and Super Crazy there will be other hot wrestling action. Chris Sabin will team with another former ECW TV Champion, Alex Shelley, to take on Masked Madness. The Pitbulls will face All Night Express. Shane Douglas will be taking on someone making their ECW debut. Finally, Raven will be defending the ECW World Championship against former champion, The Sandman.
Ken Shamrock vs Mr. Hughes w/Shane Douglas and Francine
A slug fest of a match with some wrestling tossed in. Ken is not used to facing someone more powerful than him and it showed as he would try to flex his muscles with certain moves only to have Mr. Hughes counter it due to his power. Ken was the first to try a pin. He went for a cover after a flying hip attack. Later Mr. Hughes tried for the win after his finisher, a Spike Slam. Ken Shamrock used rolling kneebar to wear Mr. Hughes down. He finally got the pin after another flying hip attack.
Winner: Ken Shamrock via pinfall (3 stars)
Ken quickly rolled out of the ring as Shane was getting in. Shane was upset at Ken winning. He was upset at not being able to get his hands on Ken tonight. He was just plain upset as he threw a fit in the ring while Chaos came to the end of the show.
PWI News and Notes:
NWA-Wildside announced there will be a five-on-five war games match pitting five men loyal to NWA-Wildside vs five men from the Xterminators faction. It will be for control of NWA-Wildside. The Xterminators have said when they win, they are going to close NWA-Wildside down for good.

Fun stuff as always.
Congrats to Son Of Havoc on winning the Light Heavyweight Championship. Nice showing by Rey Horus. Too bad he wasn’t able to run the gauntlet from start to finish.
Here’s hoping that Zicky Dice can hang on to that wonderfully named championship for awhile.
”How rude?” Is Stephanie Tanner entering the WWE? She wouldn’t be the first member of the Tanner family to set foot in the ring.

Yea for a while the way the dice loved him, I thought Rey Horus would go all the way. Then the dice turned on him. I thought Killshot might go all the way, but he took too much damage and did not have the fight in him. Seeing that clip makes me realize that the Gobbledy Gooker had offspring.

The Night The Line Was Crossed
A hype video is shown and then we are live.
Joey Styles: I am your host Joey Styles and this is The Night The Line Was Crossed. I took out extra insurance on myself as this night could easily get out of hand. We will have an ECW debut among all the craziness. Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin taking on Masked Madness. Pit Bulls batteling All Night Express. Raven defends his World title against The Sandman. Then who can forget our main event. The Sheik takes on Super Crazy in a No Holds Barred, Last Man Standing match. I just hope the arena is still standing after that one. Let's go to the ring to get the craziness started.
Sir Oliver Humperdink led Masked Madness down to the ring. Then they waited on Shelley and Sabin. The sound of machine gun fire is heard and then on the screen we see a picture of the state of Michigan with a star where Detroit is. It seems Shelley and Sabin are not just teaming but have formed a team with a team name.
Motor City Machine Guns vs Masked Madness w/Sir Oliver Humperdink
Masked Madness dominated Chris Sabin, mostly thanks to underhanded tactics, for the first few minutes. The Spoiler tossed Chris into the corner a few times. The last time Chris moved and shoved The Spoiler shoulder first into the ringpost and rolled him up for a cover. Chris followed up with a Hail Sabin but The Grappler kicked out. Sabin then tagged Shelley in. Shelley got in some offense and then tagged Chris Sabin. The Guns hit a tag finisher, Skull and Bones. As Sabin made the cover The Grappler came in to try and stop the cover, but Alex Shelley cut him off.
Winner: Motor City Machine Guns via pinfall (2 stars)
The Guns and Masked Madness are brawling after the match as Chaos goes to commercial.
Back from commercials and we are shown footage of security having a hard time pulling the two teams apart during the commerical break. Joey says it looks like the hatred between these teams will mean they are not done with each other. Then it is time for a new wrestler to debut in ECW.
Shane Douglas w/Francine and Mr. Hughes vs Rohit Raju
Raju used his quickness to get the jump on Shane. He just could not keep it going. Soon Shane was overpowering him. Shane used his Belly To Belly Suplex finisher but Raju kicked out. That seemed to bother Shane and he hit it a second time and got the pin.
Winner: Shane Douglas by pinfall (2 stars)
After the bell Shane stood up and called Mr. Hughes to come into the ring. Shane then sicked Mr. Hughes on Raju. Mr. Hughes pounded on the newcomer and finished him off with a choke slam.
A promo for the next PPV coming in February, Unhinged. The last Unhinged's main event saw The Sandman lose the ECW World Championship to One Man Gang. As it is, tonight, The Sandman might win it back.
The Pit Bulls w/Stevie Richards vs All Night Express
The Pit Bulls ran down and attacked All Night Express before the bell. They tossed King to the floor and Pit Bull #1 began against Rhett Titus. The momentum quickly faded and Titus was on the offensive. He was doing good but could not seem to get in the big move, so he tagged Kenny King in. King his Coronation on #1 a pair of times but could not get the pin. The match went on with Express doing what they wanted for the most part. Finally #1 was able to tag out but Pit Bull #2 could not get anything going. All Night Express performed a leg drop & splash combo which led to Kenny King pinning Pit Bull #2.
Winner: All Night Express via pinfall (3 stars)
Sitting in a dark room is ECW World Champion Raven when Stevie Richards walks in.
Stevie Richards: Hey boss, you ready to go out there and kick The Sandman's butt?
Raven: First tell me what just happened. Did you let the All Night Express beat The Pit Bulls? Again?
Stevie Richards: It wasn't my fault, Raven. I had a game plan, but those muscle heads did not follow it.
Raven: Shut up you dim witted nimrod. Time and time again you have shown yourself to be incompetent. You better not screw up in my match. (He stands up and gets in Stevie's face) If you do there will be hell to pay.
Then Stevie started to speak but Raven slapped him in the face.
Raven: Shut up. I do not want to hear it. Follow me and do not screw up.
He walks off with Stevie quietly following him.
Raven w/Stevie Richards vs The Sandman in an ECW World Heavyweight Championship match
First The Sandman made his way thru the crowd to Enter Sandman, stopping for a beer a couple times. Then the champion comes out and plants himself in the corner as he waited for the match to start. Once the action got going The Sandman tore into the champ. He hit a DDT and made the cover, but Raven kicked out. Then Raven took a cheap shot and started to attack The Sandman. He asked for a chair from Stevie who was slow to get it. Raven yelled at him then placed the chair on the mat. Raven hit a Russian leg sweep sending The Sandman face first onto the chair. A cover but this time it was The Sandman kicking out. Both men struggled to find an opening on the other. The Sandman started to roll, and he hit a Heinekenrana on Raven. He made the cover and earned the pin.
Winner: The Sandman by pinfall to win the title
Joey Styles: We have a new World Champion.
The Sandman held the title belt and his Singapore Cane over his head. Meanwhile Raven called Stevie Richards into the ring. He starts chewing Stevie out and slaps him a few times. Then Raven goes to slap him again and Stevie catches his wrist. Stevie starts yelling at Raven who looks shocked. Raven nods his head and Stevie lets go of his wrist and turns to leave the ring. Raven grabs him, turns him around quickly and hits an Even Flow DDT. Raven looks down with disguest at Stevie, spits on him and then leaves the ring.
A video showing highlights of the matches between The Sheik and Super Crazy over the last few months. Then the exchange of fireballs including Super Crazy sending one into The Sheik's crotch. All leading up to the main event.
The Sheik w/Abdullah Farouk vs Super Crazy in a No Holds Barred, Last Man Standing match
Sadly, for all the hype this turned into a one-sided affair. The Sheik poked Super Crazy in the eyes to start the match and then gouged them. He kept going after Super Crazy and never let up. He pulled out a metal spike and jammed it into Super Crazy's forehead. Then he took the fight to the floor. He tossed Super Crazy into the barricade. Dragged him into the back and threw him into a concrete wall, busting Super Crazy forehead up. As his face became a bloody mess The Sheik laid him next to the stage. The Sheik went up to the stage. He jumped off and hit an elbow drop. Super Crazy was in major trouble but refused to stay down as he got to his feet by the 8 count. The Sheik dragged Super Crazy back to the ring and rolled him in. The Sheik hit Super Crazy with his spike some more. Then he asked his manager for something. Abdullah handed him a pizza cutter. The Sheik held it up and a "holy shit" chant broke out. The Sheik treated Super Crazy's forehead like a pizza and rolled the cutter back and forth. He released his hold on Super Crazy who fell to the mat. The referee started his count and made it to ten then called for the bell.
Winner: The Sheik via opponent being unable to respond to the ten count
As The Sheik went to do more damage to poor Super Crazy the referee tried to stop him. The Sheik tossed the referee out of the ring. Then he got on top of Super Crazy and gouged at his eyes again. That is when the camera caught two men in blue jeans, grey hoodie sweatshirts and wearing bandanas on their faces (one red, one blue) coming from the fan area over by the stage area and then hopping the barricade and rushing down to the ring. The two men slid in and attacked The Sheik. They beat on him before flinging him over the top rope, sending him crashing onto the ground. They help Super Crazy, his face a bloody mess, up to his feet. They pull their hoodies off and the man with the red bandana takes it off.
Joey Styles: Who are these men? Wait, I recognize them. The one who took his face covering off is Rush. The other one is Bandido. I am not sure why they are here but it is a good thing for Super Crazy. He is badly hurt but it could have been much worse if not for them. Well, we are out of time. Thank you for watching this special and we will see you on Chaos. Hopefully we learn what Rush and Bandido are doing in ECW.

January Week 4, Year 2
WWF Raw
Gorilla Monsoon: Welcome to WWF Raw. We are coming off the hot last Raw that saw us crown the first WWF Light Heavyweight Champion.
Bobby Heenan: One thing I do not get about a lot of those guys is they wear masks. What are they hiding, Monsoon?
Gorilla Monsoon: They are not hiding anything per say, Brain. It just lets them keep their identity secret. It gives them a slight advantage when people do not know who they really are.
Bobby Heenan: Hmm, interesting. Um, ah but tell us about our show tonight, Gorilla.
Gorilla Monsoon: (Gives Bobby a curious look before speaking) OK, Bobby, we will see two of those Light Heavyweights in action when Killshot has a rematch with Matt Sydal. Then former tag team partners and Royal Rumble participants King Kong Bundy and Big John Studd have a match. Midnight Rockers face off against The Outlaws and then in our main event Antonio Inoki will face off with Killer Kowalski.
Killshot vs Matt Sydal
A hot match between two exciting wrestlers. Both men had their chances. Killshot hit his 450 Splash finisher but Matt kicked out. The end came later when Killshot hit a slingshot double stomp and hooked both of Matt's legs to get the pin.
Winner: Killshot by pinfall (3 stars)
A big announcement regarding the Royal Rumble PPV. The WWF World Tag Team Champions, The Invaders, will defend against the former tag team champions, the British Bulldogs. The former champs have not been seen since losing to The Invaders.
Big John Studd vs King Kong Bundy
This match was in stark contrast to the opening match. This was too big bulls trying to impose their will on the other. If you enjoy two big men beating on each other this was all you could ask for. Both men used bearhugs to wear the other down. Studd made an impressive show of strength by bodyslamming Bundy. At another point Bundy stood on Studd. At the end Studd hit a big elbow drop and got a two count. He quickly followed up with his Backbreaker finisher to get the W.
Winner: Big John Studd via pinfall (3 stars)
The two men did not seem satisfied with a pin ending their night. They started brawling after the bell. The referee looked like he would try and pull them apart but decided against it and exited the ring. Security had to come down and pull the two giants apart. Bobby Heenan said, "Forget our security, they should call in the national guard. Call in the Marines and Air Force. This is like Godzilla fighting the real King Kong".
A promo for the next PPV coming this Sunday. It is time for the Royal Rumble. Who will enter the Rumble and win bragging rights not to mention a big fat check of 35K? Here is a look at who has officially entered the Rumble.
- Big John Studd - Adrian Adonis - Blackjack Mulligan - Antonio Inoki - "TN Cowboy" James Storm - "Wildcat" Chris Harris - Mark Henry - Rowdy Roddy Piper - Kurt Angle - King Kong Bundy - Shawn Michaels - Don Muraco - Virgil - Keith Steinborn
Midnight Rockers vs The Outlaws
The Rockers used their speed and frequent tags to keep their opponents on the defensive. Marty hit a superkick on Bob Orton Jr and followed that with a top rope fist drop. He went for the cover but Orton kicked out. Marty then tagged Shawn in. After a short burst of offense Shawn hit Sweet Chin Music. Blackjack came in to try and stop the pin. Marty went to stop him. The referee was busy with them that by the time he went to make the count Orton was able to kick out. Shawn Michaels hit his finisher on Orton a second time and was able to make the pin.
Winner: Midnight Rockers by pinfall (2 stars)
Promo videos from Bret "The Hitman" Hart and Buddy Rogers before their title match at Royal Rumble.
Antonio Inoki w/Mr. Fuji vs Killer Kowalski
A top-notch match that was clearly a main event caliber match. It went back and forth numerous times. When it looked like Kowalski was finally getting on a roll Mr. Fuji got on the apron. As Inoki distracted the referee Mr. Fuji tossed a handful of ceremonial salt in Kowalski's eyes. That allowed Inoki to go on the offensive. It was not enough as Killer Kowalski came back with a vengeance. He was able to finish Inoki after a big knee lift.
Winner: Killer Kowalski via pinfall (4 stars)
WCW Nitro
As Nitro comes on the air, we see Zicky Dice and Disco Inferno in their locker room.
Zicky Dice: I am so psyched. I get to defend my title again tonight.
Disco Inferno: Oh yea. Who is your opponent?
Zicky Dice: I am not sure; they won't tell me. Just another chump, I am sure. Some scrub I can beat without breaking a sweat. Just wish they would give me some competition one of these days.
Disco Inferno: Hey, be careful what you wish for. You know what they say. You might just get it.
Then we go to the announcer's desk.
Tony Schiavone: Welcome to Nitro. We have a great show for you tonight but before we get to that I want to welcome back my partner in crime, Larry Zbyszko. I am happy you are doing good after dealing with your personal situation. You know, the one where you almost became the North Dakoka United States west by north west version.
Larry Zbyszko: Ha, ha Tony. Yes, I am fine. It is the Western States Wrestling, North West United States Heavyweight Championship, North Dakota version by the way. Get it right. What can I say? I saw Dicky flaunting it around and talking big including talking down to me. So, I talked to our boss to see if I could get a title shot. I got it but I had too much ring rust as you saw, and I came up short.
Tony Schiavone: I am just happy to have you back. We have a pair of title matches tonight. Tiger Mask will defend the WCW Cruiserweight Championship. Zicky Dice will defend that supposed title of his as well. Kip James will go one-on-one with Nikita Koloff. Then, in our main even AJ Styles will try and avenge an upset loss to "Raging Bull" Manny Fernandez. Let's get the night started.
Tiger Mask vs DJ Z w/Larry Sweeney in a WCW Cruiserweight Championship match
The two men went flying around the ring in an attempt to get the win. DJ Z got the champ off guard. He hit a hurricanrana and almost got the pin. A bit later he followed up with a Moonassault and again came close to making the pin. A minute later he hit ZDT and finally got the three count.
Winner: DJ Z via pinfall to win the title (2 stars)
Larry Sweeney is as happy as a proud pappa. He gets the title belt from the timekeeper's table and hugs it before presenting it to his Sweet 'n' Sour International member.
The pair of Zicky Dice and Disco Inferno are walking toward the ring area entrance for Zicky's title defense when Disco stops.
Disco Inferno: Shoot. I forgot something. You continue on ahead. I have to run back to the locker room for something.
Zicky Dice: Ok, well don't be too long. I want you to see me defeat yet another challenger to my precious title.
He turns around and walks towards the ring while Disco smiles.
Disco Inferno: No worries pal. I will be there. Count on it.
Zicky Dice is standing in his corner looking for Disco Inferno while waiting to see who his opponent will be this time. Then Disco Inferno's theme starts to play. Zicky is happy until he sees Disco and realizes what he "forgot". He changed into his wrestling attire. Disco Inferno is dancing toward the ring as he is Zicky's opponent.
"The Midnight Lover" Zicky Dice w/Disco Inferno vs Living Legend Larry Zbyszko in a Western States Wrestling, North West United States Heavyweight Championship, North Dakota version Championship match
As the two men stand across from each other Zicky is trying to figure out what Disco is doing. Disco just shrugs and makes a belt gesture. Then they lock up but neither man can get an advantage. They lock up again and it is another stalemate. Zicky stands back and thinks about it. He nods his head and smiles. He offers his hand to shake. Disco Inferno goes to shake it but Zicky kicks him in the gut. Zicky gains the early advantage. Zicky tried to gain the quick win, and taunt Disco a bit, by performing a Snack Rattle & Roll. Disco was able to kick out in time. Zickey used a Northern LIghts suplex and Snake Eyes to put Disco in a bad way. Then a bit more showboating by Zicky followed by a swinging neckbreaker. A cover and kick out.
Zicky examines Disco laying on the mat and decided to try a different approach. He puts Disco in an ankle lock. Disco frantically fights out of the hold and gets to his feet. He says, "what the Hell" to Zicky as he points toward his ankle. Disco does a little dancing to check out his ankle. He then motions that the ankle is off limits. The match continues and Zicky nails Disco with a Zickity Do Dah but does not get the pin once again. Zicky decides he has had enough of this match and while in the middle of the ring applies the ankle lock again. Disco does not want to take any chances as he knows he is in a bad place, and he quickly taps.
Winner: Zicky Dice by submission to retain (2 stars)
As Zicky Dice is walking up the ramp he is met by Gordon Solie on the stage.
Gordon Solie: Zicky a moment of your time please. I was wondering if you were aware that the Western States Wrestling promotion has closed its doors?
Zicky Dice: Wait, what?
Gordon Solie: Yes, the WSW shut down and is no more.
Zicky Dice: What does that mean about my title?
Gordon Solie: Um, it is just a memento now.
Then Disco Inferno walks up.
Disco Inferno: Are you telling me we just fought over a useless piece of junk?
Zicky Dice: Hey, don't talk about my title like that.
No more words were exchanged. Disco attacked Zicky as Gordon ran off to safety. The two former tag partners and friends fought wildly on the stage. Zicky stomped on Disco's ankle as Disco yelled out in pain. Then Zicky placed him in an ankle lock causing more pain. Officials came over and pleaded with Zicky to release the hold. It took a few moments but Zicky did let go. He walked off with his title slung over his shoulder as the officials check on Disco.
Ric Flair is in back talking on his phone. He is trying to convince whoever he is speaking with that Danielson deserves the World title shot at SuperBrawl II.
Kip James w/B.G. James and Chyna vs Nikita Koloff w/Ivan Koloff
Kip starts the match by trying to use his power with a forearm jab which was a mistake. It had no effect on the big Russian. Then Nikita went and showed Kip what real power is like. He battered Kip and tossed him around the ring. HIs Russian Sickle finisher earned him the rather easy victory.
Winner: Nikita Koloff via pinfall (1 star)
A promo for the next PPV event, SuperBrawl II coming in February.
AJ Styles vs "Raging Bull" Manny Fernandez
Styles was not happy about losing to the Raging Bull a few weeks back and it showed in this match. He dominated from bell to bell. A pair of Rack Bombs led to Styles making the pin. He earned his payback and will soon be moving on to other things.
Winner: AJ Styles by pinfall (1 star)
ECW Chaos
As Chaos comes on the air, we see Super Crazy, his forehead wrapped in bandages, standing in the middle of the ring with Rush and Bandito.
Super Crazy: You are looking at the future of ECW. Those that watch wrestling know it is most often a numbers game. If I was just dealing with The Sheik that would be one thing. But there is his manager Farouk. HIs nephew Sabu. So, I decided it was time to even the playing field. I called in some friends and we are forming the Latino World Order. Rush, Bandido and I are not only the latest but we are the greatest. Farouk, you tell your men we are coming for them. Estamos aqui. Conoceras el miedo.
Joey Styles: Welcome to ECW Chaos. What a wild night this past weekend when we presented The Night The Line Was Crossed. Along with the arrival of Rush and Bandido, forming the Latino World Order with Super Crazy it seems, we had the crowning of a new ECW World Champion. The Sandman beat Raven for the title. Then Raven proceeded to fire his minion, Stevie Richards. As far as tonight, we have Al Snow taking on Rohit Raju. Then in a rematch Chris Sabin faces off against RVD. Finally, in our main event the Briscoe Brothers defend the ECW World Tag Team Championship against All Night Express. Time to get things rolling.
Al Snow w/Head vs Rohit Raju
The veteran Snow was in control of the rookie Raju. The newcomer got in a bit of offense before Snow tossed him out of the ring. Al grabbed his "manager" Head and looked to use it on Raju. The referee came over to stop him and took it away. As he went to place Head back in the corner Al took a chair, smacked it on the barricade, tossed it to Raju who caught it and then fell to the ground. The referee turned around to see a scene that appeared to be the result of Raju hitting Al with the chair. As Raju tried to explain it was not what it looked like the referee called for the bell.
Winner: Al Snow via disqualification (1 star)
A promo video from earlier in the day. Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley are standing in the interview area.
Chris Sabin: People have been asking why me and Alex decided to form a tag team. It was one of those things that just happened when things fell into place. Sure, we had a rivary over who the better wrestler was and we have both held the TV title. But there was mutual respect between us. Then, Abdullah and the Masked Madness tag team decided to jump Alex.
Alex Shelley: I was out there all on my own. That is, till this man ran out to help me. (He slaps Chris in the chest) Sure, the numbers were against us and we got beat down but that is ok. We are both from the Detroit area. When you are born and raised around there you get used to being knocked down. You also get used to standing back up and keep on fighting. That is what we did. We got a match against Masked Madness but we wanted to do more than just that. Thus was born the Motor City Machine Guns. We are from the Motor City. Our offense is fast like a machine gun. Be it single matches or now tag team matches, the people in ECW better be weary of Chris, myself or both of us. If we are across the ring from you, you are in for a long night.
Both men point toward the camera like a gun. Then hold up their palms to form the image of Michigan and point to the Detroit area.
Chris Sabin vs RVD w/special referee Bill Alfonso
As Bill came down to officiate the match Sabin gave RVD a once over to try and figure what he was up to. If RVD did have a plan it never came to frutation. Sabin got the early jump on RVD and never let up. After an unsuccessful pin attempt Sabin followed up with Hail Sabin and made the pin.
Winner: Chris Sabin via pinfall (1 star)
As Alfonso slapped the mat the third time he got a shocked look on his face. It felt like he did not realize what he did until it was done. RVD looked at him after the match was over and Alfonso shrugged his shoulders. Then RVD got to his feet and he looked heated. He went up to Sabin and both men stared intently at each other. Finally, RVD offers his hand and after a pause to think about it Sabin shook it.
A promo for the Unhinged PPV.
Briscoe Brothers vs All Night Express in an ECW World Tag Team Championship match
The champs looked like a well-oiled machine in this match. All the All Night Express could seem to do was survive. That did not last long. It looked like once Kenny King tagged in, they might get something going but Mark had things going for his team before long. He tagged his brother, and they performed a Doomsday Device. It looked like the match was over but King kicked out at the last moment. Jay picked him up and hit a Jay Driller. That was the end of the match.
Winner: Briscoe Brothers by pinfall to retain (1 star)
The Brothers grab their title belts and climb a corner as fans cheer. It looks like the Briscoes may be settling in for a long title reign.

Royal Rumble - WWF
Gorilla Monsoon: Welcome to the WWF Royal Rumble. I am Gorilla Monsoon, and I am joined by Bobby "The Brain" Heenan and Jim Ross.
Bobby Heenan: Why is JR here again? We can do this show without him.
Jim Ross: I am here to enjoy this great PPV Bobby. That and to give my wrestling insight.
Bobby Heenan: Well, that should be an informative 5 seconds.
Gorilla Monsoon: Behave yourself Bobby. Let's go to the ring for our first match. It is for the WWF Tag Team titles.
The Invaders vs British Bulldogs in a WWF World Tag Team Championship match
This was a fun, wild match from the get-go. Dynamite Kid hit "Dr Death" Steve Williams with a head butt at the start. Williams took it, shook his head and seemed fine. Dynamite looked surprised. Then Williams hit Dynamite with a head butt of his own. Dynamite Kid took a step or two backwards, cracked his neck by moving it side to side and then grinned at Williams who was shocked.
Then the match saw control swing from one team to the other. The first time it appeared a team might gain the win is when the Bulldogs performed a Tower Of London on Williams. As Dynamite Kid covered Williams, Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy tried to make the save but was stopped by Davey Boy Smith. Williams kicked out to keep the match going. After a couple more minutes of intense action Gordy hit a power slam on Davey Boy and covered him to the three count to earn the win. What a way to kick off the PPV.
Winner: The Invaders via pinfall to retain (4 stars)
Jim Ross: The British Bulldogs put up a good fight, but they came up short in trying to win their titles back.
Bobby Heenan: Now it is time to take them to the vet to be euthanized.
Gorilla Monsoon: Have you not used that joke before Heenan?
Bobby Heenan: Do they euthanize gorillas as well?
Jim Ross: I am not sure, but they do that for weasels.
Gorilla Monsoon breaks out in laughter.
Bobby Heenan: No one asked you JR. What are you laughing at Gorilla? Keep it up funny boy and you will get no bananas later.
Gorilla Monsoon: All right Bobby. Let's go to the ring for our next match.
"Mr. M80" Marshe Rockett vs "Speedball" Mike Bailey
Marshe caught Bailey off guard with an explosive attack from the opening bell. He was relentless and went for a quick win when after only a couple minutes he used his finisher, M-80. Bailey barely kicked out in time. Marshe kept rolling and finally beat Bailey after a Harlem Sidekick.
Winner: "Mr. M80" Marshe Rockett by pinfall (1 star)

- eliminated: Chris Harris by the Moondogs after a running knee in corner by Rex

Bundy attacked Piper and used his size and Piper's exhaustion to put Piper on the verge of elimination. Then Piper reached into his trunks and pulled out a small bag, He opened it and tossed a powder into Bundy's eyes
The clock reaches zero and the next entrant came out to zany music
Bobby Heenan: What the hell is that?
The entrance is a man in a goofy looking costume mask
Gorilla Monsoon: That is Japanese wrestling sensation Kikutaro.
Jim Ross: He is an inquired taste. He is something different that is for sure.
Bobby Heenan: That is an understatement of the year JR. Does the home know he has escaped?
Gorilla Monsoon: Give us a break, Heenan.
- 15th entrant, Kikutaro
The goofy one went after Moondog Rex. He used a Shining Kikuzard to stun Rex. He lifts Rex and almost gets him over but Rex fights back to stay in the ring. But Kikutaro was not done with him

- eliminated: Keith Steinborn by Shawn Michaels with Sweet Chin Music
- eliminated: Rowdy Roddy Piper by King Kong Bundy following an Atlantic City Avalanche

Bobby Heenan: Who...is...that?
Jim Ross: That is the newest WWF talent, Rick Rude.
Bobby Heenan: That is a future champion JR.
- 19th entrant, Rick Rude
Rude goes after Killshot and makes short work of him
- eliminated: Killshot by Rick Rude after a Rude Awakening
- 20th entrant, Don "The Rock" Muraco
We have our last entrant plus we have our final four. (King Kong Bundy, Shawn Michaels, Rick Rude and Don Muraco) Who will win the Rumble?

Don Muraco tore into the big man
- eliminated: King Kong Bundy by Don Muraco after an Asiatic Spike
Rick Rude was in control of Shawn Michaels. He seemed to eliminate Shawn as he tossed Shawn over the top rope. But Shawn grabbed the top rope and did a skin the cat. As he pulled himself back into the ring he slung himself into a Rude Awakening from Rude
- eliminated: Shawn Michaels by Rick Rude after the Rude Awakening
The last two men, Rick Rude and Don Muraco, paced around inside the ring as they studied each other. They locked up and battled for supremacy. Don flung Rick into the ropes but Rick grabbed the top rope and stopped his momentum. Don rushed at Rick without thinking and Rick bent down while pulling the top rope down. Don's momentum sent him flying over the top causing him to eliminate himself
- eliminated: Don Muraco by Rick Rude via a back body drop
Winner: Rick Rude (5 stars)
Bobby Heenan: What a man. What a body. What a big fat check he is being handed right now.
Gorilla Monsoon: Wipe your chin, Brain. You seem to be drooling just a bit.
Bobby Heenan: Shut up you two!
Jim Ross: Hey, I didn't say anything.
Bobby Heenan: I am sure you were about to. Why are you even still here? The Rumble is over.
Gorilla Monsoon: The Royal Rumble match is over Bobby, but the PPV is not. We still have one more match. The one for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship.
Before the main event a promo for the next PPV, WrestleMania II
Bret "Hitman" Hart vs Buddy Rogers in a WWF World Heavyweight Championship match
This was a top-notch championship match. Both men were giving it their all to come out on top. Rogers used piledrivers to soften up Hart. After a few minutes of action Buddy got Bret in his Figure Four Grapevine finisher. Bret looked to be in trouble. But the men were close to the ropes and Bret was able to crawl over and grab the bottom rope to get the break. Buddy did not release the hold right away, but the referee started to count and when he got to four Buddy finally released the hold.
The match continued as both men worked to find the move to finish the other off. Bret came off the ropes and level Buddy with a shoulder block. Then it was his turn to hit his opponent with a piledriver. Next Bret went for his finisher. He had Buddy in the Sharpshooter and Buddy appeared to be in great pain. It seemed he might tap but he dug down to find the strength to pull himself, and Bret, near the ropes and this time it was Buddy that earned the rope break. Bret did not let Buddy catch his breath and placed him on the corner. Then Bret hit a superplex and rolled Buddy up. The referee made the count.
Winner: Bret "Hitman" Hart via pinfall to retain (4 stars)
Bret was sitting in the ring catching his breath when The Invaders came running down. They entered the ring and quickly attacked Bret. The referee was trying to order them to stop but of course they ignored him. Suddenly two men in bright colored jogging suits came thru the fans and hopped the barricade.
Bobby Heenan: What are those two fans thinking?
Jim Ross: Those are not fans. That is "Flying" Brian Pillman and Steve Austin better known as the Hollywood Blonds tag team.
Gorilla Monsoon: The real question is, why are they here?
That was answered as they jumped into the ring and attacked The Invaders. The fight was not long as Buddy Rogers rolled to the floor and called for his men to do the same. As the three nWa members stood on the floor regrouping the Hollywood Blonds helped Bret to his feet in the ring. Then they pointed to the nWa members and got their attention. Brian and Steve unzipped their jogging suit jackets to reveal t-shirts underneath. Hart Foundation t-shirts to be exact. It seems the Hollywood Blonds have joined Bret and his Hart Foundation. The two groups of men are staring at each other as the PPV comes to an end.
