The Royal Rumble was a great show!
Too bad Piper couldn't run the gauntlet from start to finish. He came close though. Congratulations to the Ravishing One.
Looking forward to seeing how The Hollywood Blonds perform in your Fed. They're doing pretty well in my league.
I'm about to run my first Royal Rumble in my COTG Fed. Since you just ran one do you have any tips to help make the match go smoother? I would appreciate any advice you may have.
Fun stuff as always!

There are so many ways to go about it. First there is the lineup. You can just take all the cards and shuffle them, so it is truly random. You can place the cards in the order you want them to come out to get certain matchups at certain times and give guys you would like to see win a better chance. A third option is a bit of both. Take certain cards that you want to either come early or late and slip them in after a random shuffle. This is especially good with guys that are debuting or making a surprise return. I have tried all three at one time or another. Just decide what works best for you. Beyond that as the match goes on, I do a mix of official rules and again what works for me. No official way to determine when the next person comes in. Sometimes I let the dice decide the action for a while and then bring someone in before going back to the dice. Sometimes I will decide to bring in a guy or two before going back to the dice. The times between new entrants varies a LOT when I play lol. One thing I do keep consistent is when a new guy comes in, he can attack anyone he wants, and I start him on level 2. Beyond that eliminations happen on a pin roll. I used to just let "out of ring" be an elimination but now I count it a pin roll. Pin = elimination over top rope, no pin I add 1 even on "out of ring" attempts. Beyond that deciding who is fighting who, I go with my gut mostly and see what makes sense (ie current feuds or face/heel matchups) or what could lead to an interesting future feud. I rolled the next Raw and the matches came out of what happened at the PPV with 3 of the 4 coming out of the Rumble match itself. My last piece of advice is this...have fun. I mean that is what this whole crazy game is about. Thanks for the comments and hope this helps.

February Week 1, Year 2
WWF Raw
Raw kicks off with a highlight video of the action from Royal Rumble. Then we are live
Gorilla Monsoon: Welcome to WWF Raw. I am Gorilla Monsoon and the man in the shiny red jacket is Bobby Heenan. I have not seen anything that fancy on you Bobby since your manager days. Do you have a hot date later or something?
Bobby Heenan: Don't be jealous that I have a fashion sense that you cannot comprehend. What do we have on tonight's show monkey boy?
Gorilla Monsoon: We will see a couple of the new guys that debuted in the Rumble. Rick Rude, who won the Rumble, and Brian Cage. Brian will be facing another powerful man in Mark Henry. Our main event will be a really fun match. In a non-title match the WWF World Tag Team champs The Invaders will face off against the newest members of the Hart Foundation, the Hollywood Blonds. Time for our first match.
Mark Henry vs Brian Cage
Cage tried to overpower Henry at the start of the match with a suplex. It did not work. Henry then shoved Cage all the way back into a turnbuckle. Cage just laughed and showed no harm was done. From there both men tried to overpower each other. Most of the time it was Henry who got the best of the exchange. He then hit his finisher, World's Strongest Slam. He covered Cage who found a way to kick out at the last moment. That did not sit well with Henry who hit it a second time. He pinned Cage after that.
Winner: Mark Henry via pinfall (2 stars)
In the studio Bobby Heenan stands up and starts to leave.
Gorilla Monsoon: Where do you think you are going Heenan? We are in the middle of the show.
Bobby Heenan: I um, I have to ah, I have to go to the men's room. Happy?
He takes off in a huff.
Gorilla Monsoon: Should have gone before Raw started Brain. Ah well. This is a good time to go to Jim Ross with information on some upcoming house shows across the country.
A promo with Jim Ross listing a few upcoming house shows including where they are and how to get tickets. Then it is time for our next match. Frogman LeBlanc comes out and then we hear "How Rude". As Rick Rude is introduced it is announced he is being led to the ring by The Unknown Manager. A masked man wearing a shiny red mask that matches his jacket comes out. Then Rick Rude, wearing a robe, follows him as they walk down to the ring.
Gorilla Monsoon: You have got to be kidding me. Boy, it is a good thing that Bobby is not here. He would be so mad to see someone wearing the same outfit as he was.
Rick Rude w/The Unknown Manager vs Frogman LeBlanc
The bell rings to start the match but Rick Rude is still removing his robe and gyrating for the ladies. Frogman tried to take advantage of that by hitting Rude with a forearm smash from behind. Rude turned around and gave him an "are you serious" look. Then he wiggled his finger in a no-no fashion and attacked Frogman. Rick made short work of him. He went for a cover but picked Frogman's shoulders up off the mat before the referee counted to three. He went to hit a Rude Awakening but stopped. He looked at Frogman with an expression of disgust and instead hit a piledriver before covering him.
Winner: Rick Rude by pinfall (1 star)
A promo for WrestleMania II
A returning Bobby Heenan sits down next to Gorilla Monsoon.
Gorilla Monsoon: Welcome back Brain. You were gone a long time, but I guess that happens with a man of your heightened age.
Bobby Heenan: Oh, knock it off Gorilla. What did I miss?
Gorilla Monsoon: Rick Rude had a match and won.
Bobby Heenan: What? I missed Rude? Darn my bladder.
Gorilla Monsoon: It gets worse. He has a manager that shops at the same department store as you.
Bobby Heenan: What are you talking about? This is not off the rack. This is a one-of-a-kind piece of art.
Gorilla Monsoon: Oh really? Interesting.
Bobby Heenan: Um, what..no, it's not, it's ah so who is up in our next match?
Gorilla Monsoon: Smooth weasel. Our next match is King Kong Bundy vs Kurt Angle. A match that came out of the Rumble action.
King Kong Bundy vs Kurt Angle
As the match started Angle tossed Bundy into a corner. He rushed in as Bundy rushed out and the mass of Bundy ran Angle over. Then Bundy tossed Angle into the corner and as he ran in Angle came out of the corner and leveled Bundy with a lariat. Then Angle started to work Bundy over. He applied his Ankle Lock but Bundy was able to power out of it. Angle applied it again and this time Bundy struggled for a bit and was in pain but he got out. Angle tried an overhead belly to belly but it was more like a simple belly to belly. Angle stood up, pulled the straps off his shoulders and attempted Ankle Lock once again. Bundy was to close to the ropes and he grabbed them for the break. Angle went to the top rope and hit a moonsault. After a German suplex Bundy looked to be finished but Angle hit a backbreaker just to make sure.
Winner: Kurt Angle via pinfall (3 stars)
America's Most Wanted are talking in the locker room about The Outlaws and the things they have been saying about AMW. Harris says it seems they need to teach The Outlaws a lesson. Storm agrees and says after that, it will be time to win the Tag Team Championship.
Inside a dojo Mr. Fuji is putting Antonio Inoki and Giant Baba thru the ringer as he is working to get them better. Then in walks a familiar face. It's Masa Saito. Mr. Fuji: Ah ha, now our team is complete.
The Invaders vs Hollywood Blonds in a non-title match
This was the intense brutal match that fans were hoping for. By the time it was over all four men were beaten and bruised. They knew they had been thru a tough match. It was the Blonds who were the first to seem to be on the verge of winning. "Flying" Brian Pillman had "Dr. Death" Steve Williams in trouble. After one pin attempt Brian hit his single finisher, Air Pillman, but Williams kicked out.
Brian tagged in "Stunning" Steve Austin who kept the heat on. He attempted a pin to no luck. Finally, Williams was able to tag out to Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy. It was The Invaders time to get rolling. Gordy put the pressure on and made a couple pin attempts of Steve, the last one broken up by Pillman. Gordy missed an elbow drop and Austin tagged out. Pillman came in but could not get any offense in. Gordy tried to finish him off with a Power Bomb a pair of times but the referee only got to two in his count. Then Gordy hit a Piledriver and finally was able to secure the pin.
Winner: The Invaders by pinfall (4 stars)
WCW Nitro
Tony Schiavone: Welcome to another exciting rendition of Nitro. I am Tony Schiavone, and he is Larry Zbyszko.
Larry Zbyszko: The one and only. Tell us Tony, what are we in store for tonight?
Tony Schiavone: I am glad you asked Larry. We have Drew Galloway in action, B.G. James taking on Ivan Koloff, reDRagon against Powers of Pain and then in our main event Moose will be defending the United States Heavyweight Championship against Mike Graham. Let's see how this all plays out.
Drew Galloway vs Mike Jackson
Jackson tried to give Galloway a fight but it was of no use. Things went Drew's way almost from the beginning. After a lock up he hit a power bomb and made a pin attempt. Not long after that he rocked Jackson with a big boot. Drew went for the cover but was surprised when Mike kicked out. Drew wore Mike down some more then hit his finisher, Future Shock DDT.
Drew Galloway by pinfall (1 star)
The first match for the SuperBrawl II PPV has been announced. It will be Disco Inferno taking on Zicky Dice in a Dance Off.
Larry Zybszko: A dance off? Wow, that will be entertaining.
Tony Schiavone: Look on the bright side Larry. At least they are not using a pole.
Larry Zbyszko: Don't give them any ideas Tony.
B.G. James w/Kip James and Chyna vs Ivan Koloff w/Nikita Koloff
Ivan caught B.G. with a high hip toss right from the get-go and it was Ivan's night after that. Nikita got in a shouting match with Kip and Chyna that got the referee's attention. That allowed Ivan to choke B.G. with his singlet. When the referee turned his attention back to the match Ivan hit a Top Rope Knee Drop. James was able to kick out in time but not after Ivan hit a second finisher.
Winner: Ivan Koloff via pinfall (1 star)
Ivan and Nikita walk off laughing as Kip and Chyna check on B.G.
A promo for the next PPV event, SuperBrawl II coming in February.
reDRagon vs Powers of Pain w/James E Cornette
At the Crocket Cup Powers of Pain lost to reDRagon in the finals. They were looking for payback. It would not come this night. They tried to overpower reDRagon but Fish and O'Reilly were able to avoid most big power moves. They used frequent tags to stay fresh and they used double team moves to break down the bigger men. They hit a backbreaker/flying knee drop combo move on The Barbarian and O'Reilly made the cover.
Winner: reDRagon by pinfall (2 stars)
After the match Cornette was hot but not at reDRagon. He was upset with his own team and was chewing them out as they returned to the back.
A big announcement that the main event of the next Nitro will see AJ Styles cash in his World Title shot he earned months ago before he was kicked out of The Four Horsemen. It will be Big Van Vader vs AJ Styles for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship.
Moose w/Ric Flair vs Mike Graham in a WCW US Championship match
Mike started strong but Moose quickly swung things this way with a lariat that almost took Mike's head off. He followed that with a Pounce. But Mike is a good wrestler and found a way to start getting in some offense. Just not enough. The end came when Moose placed Mike on a turnbuckle and hit a high jump corner dropkick.
Winner: Moose via pinfall to retain (2 stars)
Once the match was over the Midnight Express came down and entered the ring. They joined Moose in a beat down of Mike. They held him up as Moose hit a Spear. Then AJ Styles came down and was taunting Ric Flair. Bobby Eaton saw that and pointed it out to the other Horsemen. Moose and the Midnight Express came out to get AJ Styles who slowly backed up the ramp. They started to run at him, and he turned and ran into the back.
A camera in back caught them cornering AJ Styles. They laughed at they prepared to attack him. Then suddenly two men came in with chairs and smashed them on the back of the Midnight Express members, causing them to fall to the floor. It is the tag team we saw at the Crocket Cup, Bullet Club. Moose finds himself surrounded by "The Machine Gun" Karl Anderson, Doc Gallows and AJ Styles as Nitro ends.
ECW Chaos
Joey Styles: Hello everyone, I am Joey Styles, and this is ECW Chaos. We have a banger of a show for you so let's get right to it.
Motor City Machine Guns vs Lucha Underground
The Guns worked like a team that had been together for years. Chris Sabin almost beat Stryker with Cradle Shock. He tagged Alex Shelley in who kept wearing Stryker down. Then he tagged Chris and they hit the double team Made In Detroit move, sitout powerbomb/Sliced Bread #2 combo, to secure the impressive victory.
Winner: Motor City Machine Guns by pinfall (1 star)
Vampiro seems unhappy about how the match played out. He walks off without waiting on his partner. Thus, he does not notice when Stevie Richards comes out, slides in the ring and attacks Stryker. After beating on him a bit Stevie yanks at Stryker's mask. Stryker tries to stop him, as does the referee, but Stevie is a man possessed. He yanks off the mask to reveal that Stryker is the American wrestler, Matt Striker. Matt takes off running into the back as Stevie holds the mask up high over his head with a very pleased expression on his face. After striking the successful hunter pose for a bit, he places the mask on the turnbuckle as he prepares for his match which is next.
Bandido w/Super Crazy and Rush vs Stevie Richards
Stevie's power advantage kept him in the match for a while but did not help him in the long run. Bandido put on a show of athleticism that had the fans cheering. He used his 21 Plex finisher to beat Stevie.
Winner: Bandido via pinfall (2 stars)
The LWO members are about to leave when Bandido stops, grabs Stryker's mask and then joins Super Crazy as they head to the locker room.
A promo for the Unhinged PPV.
Abdullah the Butcher w/Sir Oliver Humperdink vs Rocky Kernodle in an ECW TV Championship match
Abdullah played with Rocky like a cat playing with a mouse. He brutalized Rocky with power moves and a fork that he used when Humperdink was talking to the ref by the ropes. After flinging Rocky around down on the floor the champ returned the match to the ring. That is when he used Sudanese Meat Cleaver to end Rocky's misery.
Winner: Abdullah the Butcher by pinfall to retain (1 star)
PWI News and Notes:
Kota Ibushi defeated Kenny Omega to become the NWA World Heavyweight Champion
It is a sad day for fans of NWA-Wildside. The Xterminators team beat the NWA-Wildside team. Then the Xterminators, who won control of NWA-Wildside did the unthinkable. They shut the promotion down. NWA-Wildside is no more. It is believed that most of the roster will move on to other NWA promotions. However, there is talk that WWF, WCW and ECW may be looking to add a member or two NWA-Wildside alum to their own active rosters.

February Week 2, Year 2
WWF Raw
Gorilla Monsoon: Welcome to WWF Raw. Happy early Valentine's to all the lovers out there. You have any plans for the Rosati sisters this Valentines Day Brain?
Bobby Heenan: Shut your face Gorilla. What I do on my free time is my own business. Just do your business and tell us about the show tonight.
Gorilla Monsoon: Calm down Bobby. No disrespect meant. Take a deep breath and it will be ok. We do have a great show tonight. That Japanese sensation Kikutaro will be in action against WWF Light Heavyweight Champion Son of Havoc in a non-title match. We will see another Japanese great, Antonio Inoki, in action against Big John Studd. The Moondogs will also be in action and in our main event the WWF Intercontenental Champion Superfly Jimmy Snuka will defend his title against The Patriot. Let's go to the ring for our first match and do not worry Bobby. I am sure the Rosati's will return your call eventually.
Son of Havoc vs Kikutaro in a non-title match
As the match begins Son of Havoc starts to pace around the ring and Kikutaro mirrors him. Havoc stops and Kikutaro stops. Havoc takes a couple steps forward and stops again. Kikutaro mirrored him almost perfectly. Havoc takes a step backwards very slowly and Kikutaro does the same. Son of Havoc looks towards the fans and then the referee before gesturing toward Kikutaro. Kikutaro seems to be laughing.
Son of Havoc locks up with Kikutaro and shoves him back into the ropes. Gorilla wonders if we will see a clean break. We do as Havoc lifts his heads up over his head. Kikutaro does the same. Havoc slowly moves his arms from one side to the other in the air and Kikutaro mirrors him. Then Havoc locks up with him again and shoves him to the other side of the ring up against the ropes. Havoc does a clean break and puts his hands above his head in a Y like formation. Kikutaro does the same. Havoc goes on to make an M formation, a C formation and finally an A formation with Kikutaro mirroring right along. They continue doing the YMCA for a bit with fans singing and joining in before Kikutaro surprised Son of Havoc with a shoulder tackle.
Kikutaro's Pearl Harbour move gave him the advantage and he made sure to not give it up. He unleashed on Son of Havoc and had the champion on his heels. After one unsuccessful pin attempt Kikutaro hit his finisher, Shining Kikuzard. He almost got the pin but Havoc kicked out at the last very moment. Kikutaro waited till Havoc got to his feet and he hit a stunner and tried to pin again but only got a two count. A minute later Kikutaro did an atomic drop and made the cover. This time he had his feet on the bottom rope and the referee made the count.
Winner: Kikutaro via pinfall (2 stars)
Brian Cage is in the gym pumping an impressive amount of weight. Gorilla Monsoon talks about how Brian is not happy about the start of his WWF career, and he is going to do whatever he has to do to get on the winning track.
The Moondogs vs PG-13
A fun, good tag team match. The Moondogs worked together using double team moves on J.C. Ice including a Moondog Splash but could not pin him. Ice finally was able to tag out to Wolfie D. Then PG-13 started to roll and used double team moves and even a double team finisher, but they could not get a pin either. The Moondogs fought back, and they hit their double team finisher, Moondog Drop, and pinned Wolfie D.
Winner: The Moondogs by pinfall (3 stars)
A promo for WrestleMania II
Antonio Inoki w/Mr. Fuji vs Big John Studd
Mr. Fuji's man was flying around the ring and Studd had no answer. An Enzuigiri ended this short, dominating match.
Winner: Antonio Inoki via pinfall (1 star)
Mr. Fuji enters the ring and talks about how Inoki demands a WWF World title match at WrestleMania. Then the music for the nWa plays and out walks Andre the Giant. He makes his way down to the ring, stands on the apron and steps over the top rope. Inoki looks like he is ready and willing to meet this challenge but Mr. Fuji pulls him back and the two of them exit the ring. Andre stands in the ring wiggling a finger at Inoki then points to himself. It is clear, Andre thinks he should have the title match at WrestleMania.
Jimmy Snuka w/Capt. Lou Albino vs The Patriot in a WWF Intercontinental Championship match
The Patriot had a short run of offense in the middle of the match but the beginning and end were all Snuka. The champ used a flying headbutt to lay out The Patriot. That set Snuka up to go to the top rope and hit a Superfly Leap. He pinned The Patriot.
Winner: Jimmy Snuka by pinfall (2 stars)
WCW Nitro
Nitro comes on the air and AJ Styles is standing in the ring with a microphone. Standing on either side of him are Karl Anderson and Doc Galloways.
AJ Styles: Last week these two men helped me beat down Moose and the Midnight Express. People have been talking all week about it, wondering what they were doing here. Well, it is quite simple. These men are part of the Bullet Club faction in NJPW. The Bullet Club wanted to expand into the US. So, they sent these good brothers to join me here in WCW to form the America Bullet Club otherwise known as the ABC. Their tag name will be The Good Brothers in fact. Bullet Club took over NJPW and America Bullet Club will take over WCW. They are here to watch my back including tonight when I face Big Van Vader in the main event. Vader, you may be a big man but you have not faced anyone like me. I will be taking that World title from you. Because I am AJ Styles, and I am phenomenal.
Tony Schiavone: Wow, that is some huge news. What a way to kick off Nitro.
Larry Zbyszko: It sounds like bad news to me Tony. The last thing we need is some outsiders coming into WCW and pushing their weight around.
Tony Schiavone: I hear you Larry, but we will just have to wait to see how this all plays out. For now, we have a great show ahead of us. There is the main event that AJ spoke of before of course but we have The James Gang taking on The Russians as their feud continues, Drew Galloway will be in action and in our opening match Juventud Guerrera will face off against former Cruiserweight Champion Tiger Mask. That match is now.
Juventud Guerrera w/Sweet 'n' Sour International vs Tiger Mask
Two of the best cruiserweights did battle in a really good match. Tiger Mask was in control for first few minutes but could not put Juvi away. Then Juvi found his groove and he started rocking. Tiger Mask was in a bad situation. Juventud used a series of Juvi Drivers to soften Tiger Mask up and then used a 450 Splash to finally put him away.
Winner: Juventud Guerrera by pinfall (3 stars)
Sweet 'n' Sour International join Juvi in the ring. He looks over at the Cruiserweight title belt that DJ Z is holding and he snatches it from DJ Z and looks it over intently. DJ Z is caught off guard and then it takes it back. Juvi looks upset but Larry Sweeney gets between them before anything more can happen.
Larry Zbyszko: Larry better gets things under control on his team fast. Jealousy can destroy a group faster than any opposition. It seems Juventud is not happy that the title he has been trying to win is in the possession of a fellow Sweet 'n' Sour mate.
Drew Galloway vs Mike Rotunda
The bell rang and Mike used a wristlock takedown and ride on Drew. Mike got up and smiled. Drew smiled and nodded his head. Then he grabbed Mike and hit a snap suplex. From there both men struggled to get on a roll until Drew did. He finally put Mike away with a Scot Drop.
Winner: Drew Galloway via pinfall (2 stars)
The Rock-n-Roll Express are in back talking to some of the WCW work crew when the Midnight Express walk past. The Midnighters are laughing and mocking the Rock-n-Roll Express who do not seem to happy about that.
A promo for the next PPV event, SuperBrawl II coming in February. The matches signed so far are covered.
- "The Midnight Lover" Zicky Dice vs Disco Inferno in a Dance Off - DJ Z vs Ricochet in a WCW Cruiserweight Championship Title match
The James Gang w/Chyna vs The Russians
A top-notch tag team match that saw both teams have their chances. The James Gang started hot than The Russians got in their licks. It was The James Gang double team moves that gave them the advantage in this match. After a spiked piledriver on Ivan Koloff, BG James hit a Pump Handle Slam and pinned him.
Winner: The James Gang by pinfall (3 stars)
Nikita Koloff was not happy about the loss and showed that unhappiness by grabbing his chain and swinging it wildly in the ring. That sent BG spilling out of the ring to escape. Chyna and Kip came over to check on him. Then BG grabbed a mic.
BG James: You Russians sure like that chain don't ya? Well that gives me an idea. It is time to put this feud to rest. So, how about this. We have a chain match at SuperBrawl. Not just one but a Best of 3 Falls Chain match. First one of us vs one of you. Then our partners have a match. If things are tied after that we each pick one member to face a member from the other team to finally decide the winner. Whatcha all think?
Ivan and Nikolai agree to the challenge. We have our next match scheduled for SuperBrawl.
A man is running on a treadmill.
Michael Elgin: My name is "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin. I have wrestled all over the world. I have now arrived in WCW. Why you may ask. It is because I have heard WCW US Champion Moose whining and complaining about no real challengers for his title. Well Moose, big man, here I am. I will be the toughest challenge you have faced. I will be the one to dethroan you. I will see you at SuperBrawl.
Big Van Vader vs AJ Styles w/Good Brothers in a WCW World Heavyweight Championship match
This looked like a PPV level match on paper and it did not disappoint. AJ Styles came down with his America Bullet Club members. Then the champ came down to the ring. If he was intimidated by the Good Brothers he sure did not seem it. As the match began Vader looked down at the Good Brothers and that let AJ Styles get in the first strike.
The match was your classic battle of power against speed. AJ Styles had the champ on the defensive for a couple minutes and used Calf Killer to try and make Vader submit. It did not work but it was a good plan as taking out the legs of a big man is always a solid plan. Then Vader was able to get his hands on AJ and start pounding on him. A power body slam and a Samoan Drop led to close pin attempts. AJ used a Pele Kick to go back on the attack. Vader was able to counter that and he took the match out of the ring. Vader beat on AJ and then returned the action to the ring. A Vader Bomb and it seemed the champ would retain but Styles kicked out at the last moment. AJ fought back once again and used a Styles Clash to get a two and a half. Another minute plus and then AJ hit his finisher a second time. He rolled up Vader and the referee made the count. We have a new champion.
Winner: AJ Styles via pinfall to win the title (4 stars)
As AJ Styles is celebrating the win, holding the belt high, the Midnight Express and Moose run out and attack the Good Brothers. As the three beat down the two AJ Styles watches and is getting ready to join in the brawl. He runs the ropes getting ready to do a dive but as he hits the ropes on the opposite side of the ring he is tripped up. Someone snuck out from under the ring and grabbed AJ's leg. It is the leader of the Four Horsemen, Bryan Danielson. He slips in the ring and jumps on top of AJ. He is raining blows on AJ as Nitro runs out of airtime.
ECW Chaos
Joey Styles: I am Joey Styles and you have tuned into ECW Chaos. May God have mercy on your soul.
The opening promo with highlights of matches, heavy on the violence.
Sami Callihan vs Rhino
A really good match full of move and countermoves. Neither man could get any big moves in for a while and then Sami finally did. After Rhino kicked out following a Cuerno Killer Sami transitioned into a Stretch Muffler. Rhino tried to break free but eventually he had to tap out.
Winner: Sami Callihan via submission (3 stars)
In the interview area Shane Douglas is standing with Francine hanging onto his left side and Mr. Hughes standing slightly behind him on the right.
Shane Douglas: Sandman, you have something the Franchise wants. Something the Franchise will take. Something the Franchise will have ah ha. (Rubs his hands together). That ECW World Title belongs to me. You are just holding it for me. At the Unhinged PPV I will let you return it to me. Till then you can show it off to your scumbag trailer trash friends to impress them. Just make sure you clean it up before you give it back to me after I beat you at Unhinged.
Rush w/LWO vs Mr. X
Mr. X put up more of a fight than expected but Rush was never in trouble in this match. He eventually hit a Rush Driver and made the pin.
Winner: Rush by pinfall (2 stars)
A promo for the Unhinged PPV. One match has been scheduled for the PPV. That is the World title match between The Sandman and Shane Douglas.
Raven vs Justin Credible
As Justin Credible stood in the ring Raven entered and then went to sit in a corner as he tends to do. Joey Styles points out that Raven looks even moodier than usual. Likely due to not having his lakely Stevie Richards to kick around anymore. Credible looked at Raven and started the match with a sliding baseball slide into Raven. From there the match went back-and-forth for a bit before Raven got rolling. He was having trouble to put Justin away so he went and brought a chair into the ring. Raven hit a series of piledrivers onto the chair. Then he set the chair up and performed an Evenflow DDT onto the chair. That did the trick.
Winner: Raven via pinfall (2 stars)
Before Chaos ends a video shows the ECW World Tag Team Champions the Briscoe Brothers leaving the arena with their rolling luggage. They are in the parking lot when two men rush out from behind cars and attack them. The men are the LAX. They slam the brothers into cars and stomp on them. Homicide then turns toward the camera.
Homicide: These punks disrespected us. They beat us which is one thing but then they took the titles they beat us for and trashed them. They thought they could do that without consequences. They thought wrong. We are going to keep beating down dem boys and make them our perras.
A flex from Hernandez and LAX walk off. The Briscoe Brothers try and get to their feet, and we see both of them have been busted open and blood flows down their faces.

February Week 3, Year 2
WWF Raw
Raw starts with an announcement from WWF President Jack Tunney from his office.
Jack Tunney: On the last Raw we saw two men try and claim their spot in the WWF World Championship match at WrestleMania II. After some thought, I have decided to make tonight's main event a #1 contender match between Andre the Giant and Antonio Inoki. The winner will go on to face Bret Hart at WrestleMania II for the WWF World Championship. May the best man win.
Gorilla Monsoon: That was a huge announcement. Welcome to WWF Raw. I am Gorilla Monsoon and this man to my left is Bobby Heenan.
Bobby Heenan: It looks like we will be crowing a new WWF World Champion at WrestleMania, Gorilla.
Gorilla Monsoon: Not so fast my friend. Andre and Antonio are both great wrestlers but so is Bret Hart. I mean that is why he is the World Champion. He is used to big men. In fact, he beat a larger man to win that title.
Bobby Heenan: Eh, Bret is the excellence of execution for sure but those are two all-time greats that will be fighting to see who faces him.
Gorilla Monsoon: Speaking of great men that is what we will have in our opening match. A pair of young men who are on their way to greatness. Kurt Angle taking on Brian Cage. Let's go to the ring for that match now.
Kurt Angle vs Brain Cage
The two men locked up and struggled hard to gain an advantage. It was Cage's power that allowed him to do that. The for a couple minutes action went back-and-forth. Things swung hard into Angle's advantage when Cage tried a springboard moonsault. Angle caught him and turned it into a backbreaker. Then Angle applied an Ankle Lock. Cage fought out of the hold. Angle went for it a second time and Cage was in pain. It was harder but he broke free. Frustrated, Angle stood up, pulled his shoulder straps down and applied the hold a third time. Cage was unable to escape it again and he was forced to tap.
Winner: Kurt Angle via pinfall (2 stars)
Bobby Heenan: I will be right back Gorilla. Keep the show going. Try to not mess up with me gone.
Gorilla Monsoon: What? Where are you going now?
Bobby Heenan: I got word there is a large group of my fans that are seeking autographs. I need to go make them happy.
Gorilla Monsoon: I don't believe that for a second. Unless you are charging them for the autographs.
Bobby Heenan: I don't care what you believe. You do not know what it is like to have fans so you just can't relate.
He takes off leaving Gorilla shaking his head in disbelief.
Gorilla Monsoon: I am by myself once again. Let's see what match is up next. Oh, well look at that. Rick Rude will be in action. I am sure his manager, The Unknown Manager, will be out with him. Unknown indeed. (Lets out a little laugh)
Rick Rude w/The Unknown Manager vs Rey Horus
The match kicked off with Rey Horus flying around the ring. He had Rick Rude off his game. Then Rude caught Rey and hit a suplex on him. From there it was all Rude. He hit his Rude Awakening, but Rey kicked out in time. Rude followed up with a piledriver and a cover. Again, there was a kick out. The Unknown Manager motioned to Rude to go to the high rent district. Rude nailed Rey with a top rope knee drop. This time he covered and got the pin.
Winner: Rick Rude by pinfall (1 star)
With the match over The Unknown Manager grabbed a mic and entered the ring. He handed the mic to Rude.
Rick Rude: My manager wanted to make an announcement, but he has a case of laryngitis. (At that The Unknown Manager grabbed at his throat and made a no gesture with his other hand.) I will make it instead. He has worked hard and got me an Intercontinental Championship match at WrestleMania II. It will be nice to earn my first title in the WWF.
Walking in a hallway is America's Most Wanted.
Chris Harris: Come on, we need to talk to Jack before he gives away that World Tag Team Championship match to someone else.
James Storm: I'm coming, I'm coming. No need to rush though. Who would be a better team to face The Invaders than us?
They arrive in front of President Jack Tunney's office, Harris knocks and they go in. They find he is sitting behind his desk, and he is not alone. The Midnight Rockers are standing on the other side of his desk.
Marty Jannetty: What are you two doing here?
James Storm: We have come to claim our title match at WrestleMania. What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be doing your school homework or something?
Shawn Michaels: Ha, ha. Boy you should be doing standup instead of wrestling.
Jack Tunney: Gentlemen, calm down. If you cannot be civilized, I will have to ask you to leave my office.
Shawn Michaels: As we were talking about before we were interrupted, we want the title shot at WrestleMania.
Chirs Harris: Now hold on. That match is about more than just title belts. The nWa are trying to take over the WWF. You need someone who can beat them and take the titles back. Not half of a boy band. These kids are nice, but it will take a tough butt kicking team to do that. That is who we are and what we do.
Marty Jannetty: Do you guys not have an issue with The Outlaws? Go face them.
James Storm: Have you not heard? Orton hurt himself while working on his farm. He will be out a few weeks. Soon as he's healthy we will deal with them.
Jack Tunney: Ok. Enough. I have made my decision. AMW will face The Invaders at WrestleMania. Midnight Express can have a title match after that.
This does not sit well with Midnight Express as they throw their hands up in the air and shake their heads. They end up leaving the office in a huff.
James Storm: Sorry, about your damn luck.
Chris Harris: Bye, bye, bye.
Bobby Heenan returns to the studio.
Gorilla Monsoon: Welcome back Bobby. Did the signing go good?
Bobby Heenan: What signing? Oh, oh yea. That. Um, yea it went good. Now I am looking forward to seeing Rick Rude in action.
Gorilla Monsoon: Sorry buddy. You missed him again. His match has already happened.
Bobby Heenan: Gosh darn it. Damn my popularity getting in way of me watching him wrestle.
Gorilla Monsoon: Uh huh. Well maybe you will get the chance at WrestleMania. He has a match then. It is time for our next match. By the way, I am glad to see you got your voice back.
Hollywood Blonds w/Killer Kowalski vs Dupae Rupa and Frogman LeBlanc
The Hollywood Blonds had a tougher time with their opponents than they probably expected but they came out on top. Frogman LeBlanc performed a hip toss to begin the match but "Flying" Brian Pillman landed on his feet and attacked LeBlanc. It was a few minutes before the members of the Hart Foundation really started got going. It happened when Frogman LeBlanc put Brian Pillman in a headlock and seemed to be in control. He didn't pay attention to where they were in the ring, and he backed up near the Hollywood Blonds corner allowing Steve Austin to kick in and go on the attack. "Stunning" Steve Austin tagged Pillman and they performed an Atomic Blond on Le Blanc. Pillman covered to pick up the victory.
Winner: Hollywood Blonds via pinfall (2 stars)
A promo for WrestleMania II including matches set for the PPV.
- Bret Hart vs Andre the Giant or Antonio Inoki in a WWF World Championship match - The Invaders vs America's Most Wanted in a WWF World Tag Team Championship match - Jimmy Snuka vs Rick Rude in a WWF Intercontinental Championship match - Son of Havoc vs Killshot in a WWF Light Heavyweight Championship match - Hollywood Blonds vs The Moondogs
Andre the Giant w/Buddy Rogers vs Antonio Inoki w/Mr. Fuji in a #1 Contender match
Antonio Inoki was the first to start really stringing some offense together. He seemed to have the Giant in trouble once he got him down to the mat. Antonio used his Octopus Hold to wear Andre down but was unable to force him to submit. Then Antonio made the mistake of trying to toss Andre into a corner. He must have thought the big man was weakened enough but that was not the case. Andre crushed Antonio with a turnbuckle squash. Then he hit a sitdown splash before going for his finisher, Big Splash. Andre nailed it and it looked like Mr. Fuji was going to try and get involved but Buddy caught his eye and pointed at him. Mr. Fuji backed down. At the last moment Antonio got one shoulder up to stay alive. Just a bit after Andre hit a sitdown splash and this time he made the pin. Andre will be going to WrestleMania.
Winner: Andre the Giant by pinfall to earn a title shot (3 stars)
WCW Nitro
Tony Schiavone: Welcome to WCW Nitro. We are quickly closing in on our next PPV, SuperBrawl II. We now have our main event. After last Nitro's main event and what happened after it has led to AJ Styles defending his World title against leader of the Four Horsemen, Bryan Danielson.
Larry Zbyszko: That is going to be a great match and I for one am looking forward to it. But what do we have lined up for tonight, Tony?
Tony Schiavone: Great action as always. Disco Inferno has a match before he faces Zicky Dice in a dance off at SuperBrawl. Tommy Rick and Brad Armstrong will go at it. In our main event it will be a rematch of a recent match as the Crockett Cup winners, reDRagon, will go up against Powers of Pain.
Larry Zbyszko: It seems Cornette is running out of patience with the Powers of Pain. He hired them to take out the Road Warriors to protect the Midnight Express and the tag team titles. That did not work out. Then they were supposed to win the Cup and they came up short. Now, in a rematch they lost again. They say the third time's the charm and it better be for the Powers, or they will find themselves in really hot water.
Disco Inferno vs Lio Rush
Disco had trouble with Lio's speed and agility. He held on for a few minutes, but once Lio hit a Rush Hour off the top turnbuckle Disco's night was over.
Winner: Lio Rush via pinfall (2 stars)
After the match Disco Inferno just shrugged off the loss and danced. It seems he was saying that his match at SuperBrawl is a dance off so he will win as he is the superior dancer.
Ric Flair cuts a promo about how AJ Styles will be a footnote in the lineage of the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. At SuperBrawl Bryan Danielson will win back his world title and go on to be the greatest ever. Ric says even better than he was.
"Wildfire" Tommy Rich vs Brad Armstrong
Tommy could not get anything going in this match as Brad rolled pretty much from bell to bell. He hit a Russian Leg Sweep finisher, but Tommy kicked out. Not long after that Brad put Tommy away via an abdominal stretch.
Winner: Brad Armstrong by submission (1 star)
A promo for the next PPV event, SuperBrawl II coming in February. The matches signed so far are covered.
- AJ Styles vs Bryan Danielson in a WCW World Championship match - Moose vs Michael Elgin in a WCW United States Heavyweight Championship match - The James Gang vs The Russians in a Best of 3 Falls Chain match - Midnight Express vs Rock-n-Roll Express - "The Midnight Lover" Zicky Dice vs Disco Inferno in a Dance Off - DJ Z vs Ricochet in a WCW Cruiserweight Championship Title match
"Raging Bull" Manny Fernandez vs Doug Gilbert
A short match that lasted less than 2 minutes. Both men locked up, but neither could gain an advantage. Then the men exchanged go behinds. Finally, Manny started to control the action. He applied a sleeper, and it looked like Doug might pass out. Doug pushed backwards into the ropes to get a break. He stumbled into the middle of the ring. He turned around and was on the wrong end of a Flying Burrito.
Winner: "Raging Bull" Manny Fernandez via pinfall (1 star)
Based on the success of the Crockett Cup we have seen tag team action is hotter than ever in wrestling. There will be an announcement coming soon regarding the tag team division in WCW.
reDRagon vs Powers of Pain w/James E Cornette
Once again, the great teamwork of reDRagon had them rolling along in good fashion. First Kyle O'Reilly hit Armageddon on The Barbarian. Kyle tagged out and Bobby Fish went to work. After a Sleeps With The Fishes, he attempted a pin, but The Barbarian kicked out. Another tag and soon Kyle used Armageddon on The Barbarian again. This time Cornette tossed his tennis racquet into the ring. The referee saw it and grabbed it before The Barbarian could use it. As he went to remove it, he missed The Barbarian hit Kyle with a low blow.
That allowed The Barbarian to hit a press slam on Kyle and then tag out to Warlord. A short burst of offense from Warlord then after one pin attempt he tagged The Barbarian, and they performed their Power Head Butt tag finisher. Kyle was able to kick out. He knew he was in trouble so Kyle dove for his corner and tagged out. Bobby Fish came in and used hit and run tactics before placing a leglock on The Barbarian. The Barbarian tapped out before Warlord or Cornette could do anything.
Winner: reDRagon by submission (3 stars)
Cornette was in the ring chewing out the Powers of Pain after the match. Then he fired them. They looked at each other then they grabbed Cornette and tossed him into the ropes. He bounced off and the Powers of Pain leveled him with a double boot.
Before Nitro ends Tony reminds people to tune in next week for the last Nitro before SuperBrawl II.
ECW Chaos
Joey Styles: You have found the most exciting wrestling show on TV today. This is ECW Chaos. Strap in and hang on for this will be a wild ride.
The opening promo with highlights of matches, heavy on the violence.
Mr. Hughes vs Al Snow w/Head
Early on Mr. Huges was simply overpowering Al Snow. He kept the pressure on but seemed to be playing with Al. Mr. Huges grabbed Head and used it to give Al headbutts. Then Mr. Hughes tossed Head out of the ring. It seemed that pissed Al Snow off as he started to fight back. Then Mr. Hughes tossed Al into the corner and rushed in. Al pulled himself up to float over Mr. Hughes who rammed his shoulder into the ring post. Al folded the big man up and went for the cover, his legs on the ropes, but Mr. Hughes was able to kick out in time. Al was in control for a couple more minutes and attempted another pin. Then Mr. Hughes was able to overpower Al and go back on the attack. Mr. Hughes beat on Al for a minute or so then used a released gut wrench to finally finish Al off.
Winner: Mr. Hughes by pinfall (4 stars)
A heated promo from the Briscoe Brothers. They talk about how LAX jumped them like the cowards they knew LAX to be. They say if LAX wanted to get their asses kicked in a match again all they had to do was ask. They have agreed to face LAX at unhinged and it will be a No DQ match so they can do whatever they want to do too LAX. When they are done, LAX will never want to show their ugly faces in ECW ever again.
Stevie Richards vs Stryker
Matt Striker, still going by Stryker even without his mask, took control of Stevie early on. He tossed Stevie into the ropes and Stryker dropped to the mat and Stevie jumped over him. This happened four times before Stevie grabbed the ropes to stop his momentum. That time Stryker got to his feet and Stevie hit him with a flying forearm. Stevie was full of energy and kept on the offense. He hit a Stevie Kick, but Stryker kicked out at two. Stevie was frustrated and hit Stryker with a second Stevie Kick. When Stryker kicked out Stevie yelled at the referee about a slow count. Then Stevie tried to win with a Rat Trap but again no luck. Stevie used a sidewalk slam and finally pinned Stryker.
Winner: Stevie Richards via pinfall (1 star)
Joey Styles reminds people to order the Unhinged PPV this weekend.
A promo for the Unhinged PPV. Highlights of the matches signed.
- The Sandman vs Shane Douglas in an ECW World Championship match - Briscoe Brothers vs LAX in a NO DQ ECW World Tag Team Championship match - LWO (Rush and Bandido) vs The Sheik and Sabu - Abdullah the Butcher vs Rhino in an ECW TV Championship match
Super Crazy w/LWO vs Rohit Raju
The bell rang to begin the match and Raju went to shake Super Crazy's hand. Super shook it but before Super could try anything Raju did by hitting a jumping Flatliner. He covered and almost got the lighting fast win but Super Crazy kicked out at the last moment. Rohit Raju was on fire as he followed up with a Dragon Stomp and rolled Super Crazy up. The match lasted less than a minute and Raju had the upset win.
Winner: Rohit Raju by pinfall (1 star)
Rohit Raju did not get to celebrate as LWO slid into the ring and jumped him. They beat on Raju and then as they held him down Super Crazy went to the top and nailed Raju with a Moonsault.
In a dark, smoky room ECW World Champion The Sandman is smoking a cigarette and drinking a beer.
The Sandman: Shane, you want a shot at the World title? No problem buddy. I am happy to beat on your snot nosed punk ass at Unhinged. (takes a drink and a puff, slowly blowing the smoke out) I am not scared of you Shane. Or should I say "Franchise". Give me a break. I am not scared of your hired muscle Mr. Huges either. He is a big bodyguard, but I have dealt with bigger and tougher ones while getting thrown out of bars. As far as your sweet piece, Francine, I might be a little scared of her. She looks like she might be the tougher of you three. Either way, I will walk into Unhinged as World champ and will walk out with the title belt. Then I will head to some seedy bar and party all night.
All Night Express vs Motor City Machine Guns
Two tag teams that relied on speed, frequent tags and double team moves. Momentum swung from one team to the other. The Motor City Machine Guns used a Thunder Express on Kenny King. It had him reeling and a bit later Chris Sabin used a Cradle Shock to pick up the impressive win.
Winner: MCMG via pinfall (3 stars)

Unhinged - ECW
A hype video to kick off the PPV.
Joey Styles: Welcome to Unhinged. The latest ECW PPV. We have some great matches lined up for you tonight. All three titles will be on the line. Let's go to the ring for our opening match between LWO and the team of The Sheik and his nephew...Sabu.
LWO (Rush and Bandido) vs The Sheik & Sabu w/Abdullah Farouk
This ended up being a one-sided affair. LWO took turns in the ring with Sabu and worked him over. He kicked out of a couple pin attempts. Abullah Farouk tried to distract the referee to help his man to no avail. Bandido used 21 Plex to finally put Sabu away.
Winner: LWO via pinfall (1 star)
The Sheik grabbed a chair and got in the ring but both members of LWO went to the floor and quickly moved away from the ring before he could do anything to him. He kept trying to get them to come back into the ring as his manager checked on Sabu.
Abdullah the Butcher w/Sir Oliver Humperdink vs Rhino in an ECW TV Championship match
The two men slugged it out for a couple minutes trying to gain an advantage over the other. That came when Abdullah whipped Rhino into a corner and Rhino bounced out and leveled the champ with a clothesline. He then waited for Abdullah to get to his feet and he hit a Gore! on Abdullah. It seemed to take a bit out of Rhino as well as he bounded off the large man. It took him a bit to make the cover which would explain how Abdullah was able to kick out.
Rhino felt a win was in his grasp, so he hit a second Gore! Sir Oliver Humperdink got on the apron to try and get the referee's attention but what he got was a Gore! thru the ropes that sent him crashing to the ground. Rhino went for the cover but Abdullah kicked out again. Rhino was frustrated and went to wear the Butcher down some more. He used a Death Valley Driver, spinning spinebuster and side belly-to-belly suplex before tossing Abdullah out of the ring.
Once the TV champ reentered the ring, he was hit with yet another Gore! Before it happened Humperdink had recovered enough to motion to the back. That brought out One Man Gang who hit the ring and attacked Rhino. The two men brawled with Rhino winning the exchange and tossing One Man Gang over the top rope. Rhino then motioned to the crowd he was going to end the match as he made a slashing motion with his thumb over his throat. He hit another Gore! and went for the pin but somehow Abdullah was able to kick out. Abdullah stayed alive but was in major trouble. Rhino went to the floor, grabbed a chair, rolled into the ring and set the chair up. He then lifted Abdullah and performed a Death Valley Driver onto the chair. He finally was able to pin Abdullah and win the TV title.
Winner: Rhino by pinfall to win the title (3 stars)
A promo for Ken Shamrock. He will be returning to ECW soon.
Super Crazy vs Rohit Raju
A bit of back and forth and then Rohit Raju got rolling. He hit a Mumbai Drive-By but the referee only got to two before Super Crazy kicked out. A bit later after a Tiger Knee he tried another cover but again a kick out. Rohit Raju went to the top rope for a high risk move and it paid off when he nailed Super Crazy with a flying elbow drop. Then he went for his finisher again. As he hit it LWO came down and started to approach the ring from opposite sides. The referee ordered them to the back or he would disqualify Super Crazy. They put up their hands and returned to the back. A minute later Rohit Raju hit a neckbreaker and gourdbuster before folding Super Crazy in half and pinning him.
Winner: Rohit Raju via pinfall (2 stars)
Super Crazy was enraged after losing once again. He kicked at the bottom rope. Then he rolled to the floor and grabbed the ring stairs and tossed them. He started walking around the ring then he grabbed one of the ring crew who was kneeling by the guardrailing. He slapped for the poor kid a couple times then he threw him hard into the railing. Super Crazy was about to leave but then he turned around and stomped on the crew member. A couple ECW officials and another referee came out and pulled Super Crazy off the crew member and worked to get Super Crazy into the back.
Briscoe Brothers vs LAX in an ECW World Tag Team Championship, No DQ match
The Brothers started hot and showed why they have been champs for so long. They tore into Homicide and started to wear him down using frequent tags and a bit of double teaming. Homicide rolled out to the floor to try and catch his breath. Mark Briscoe went out after him. The two slugged it out for a bit and then Mark hit a Cut-Throat Driver on Homicide on the ramp. Mark dragged Homicide down to the ring and rolled him in. He went for the cover but Homicide kicked out.
Mark went for a second Cut-Throat Driver but again Homicide kicked out. Mark tagged Jay in who kept the pressure on Homicide. As Jay went for a cover Homicide came in and dropped an elbow on Jay. Mark then came in and both teams started brawling wildly. LAX won the exchange. As things were returned to normal by the referee Homicide tagged Hernandez in. After a Crackerjack, Hernandez hit Jay with a Border Toss and went for the pin but Jay kicked out. Homicide tagged in and was all over Jay. He hit a Da Gringo Killer but Jay kicked out. A couple minutes later Homicide hit his finisher again. Mark tried to make a save but Hernandez hit him with a flying corssbody and both men spilled out to the floor. In the ring Homicide got the pin to win the ECW Tag Team titles.
Winner: LAX by pinfall to win the titles (3 stars)
Sitting in front of a computer monitor Sami Callihan was typing on a keyboard then he looked into the camera.
Sami Callihan: I see that Rhino won the TV Championship. Congratulations to him. I seem to recall having a match with him recently. How did that match go? Oh that is right. I beat him. Sadly he was not the champ then. Rhino, how about we have another match and you put your new title on the line? I think I would like being the ECW TV Champion.
The Sandman vs Shane Douglas w/Francine and Mr. Hughes in an ECW World Championship match
The champion made the challenger wait as The Sandman took his time going thru the fans and stopping to drink a beer a few times. He finished his cigerette and entered the ring. After the intros both men went face to face in the center of the ring. That is when The Sandman blew smoke into Shane's face. As Shane waved it away and rubbed his eyes The Sandman slugged him. The champ kept things going his way for a bit but then Shane started getting his offense in. The Sandman fought back a few times but it was clear that Shane was the better man in this match. After The Sandman kicked out of one pin attempt Shane hit his Pittsburgh Plunge finisher and made the pin. Shane was the World Champion once again.
Winner: Shane Douglas via pinfall to win the title (2 stars)
Francine and Mr. Hughes enter the ring and Francine hugs Shane.
Joey Styles: What a night. All three titles changed hands including the World title as we just saw.
Entrance music plays and the three people in the ring look toward the stage.
Joey Styles: I know that music. That is Samoa Joe's music.
Sure enough, the former Triple Threat member walks out to the stage. He stands there and stares at the ring while rubbing his chin. Shane looks a bit concerned as the PPV ends.

February Week 4, Year 2
WWF Raw
Gorilla Monsoon: Hello everyone, welcome to WWF Raw. We have Kikutaro, Mark Henry, Giant Baba, The Moondogs, the Midnight Express all in action and in our main event the leader of the nWa, Buddy Rogers, will take on Hart Foundation member Killer Kowalski.
Bobby Heenan: Do you know if Giant Baba is from southern Japan?
Gorilla Monsoon: No, I do not know. Why?
Bobby Heenan: I am pretty sure Baba is Japanese for bubba. I mean, he looks like a giant bubba don't you think?
Gorilla Monsoon: Give me a break, Brain. Let's go down to the ring for our first match tonight. I don't know about you sometimes.
Kid Lykos vs Kikutaro
Kikutaro danced his way down to the ring. Stopping to interact with the fans along the way. Maybe he should have been focused more on his opponent as he did not do much in the match. Kid Lykos hit a Brainbuster finisher but Kikutaro kicked out. A second attempt led to Kikutaro escaping. A bit later a third attempt was successful as was the cover.
Winner: Kid Lykos via pinfall (2 stars)
A promo from Killshot. He says Son of Havoc got lucky in the Light Heavyweight Championship tournament. Killshot had been through a tough match while Son of Havoc came in fresh. There will be no such advantage for their title match at WrestleMania. Killshot says he will leave Mania with the title belt. He then points at the camera and makes a shooting motion.
Mark Henry vs Giant Baba w/Mr. Fuji
The two large brutes slugged it out for a few minutes. Giant Baba used a Neckbreaker Drop to finish Mark Henry.
Winner: Giant Baba by pinfall (3 stars)
Gorilla Monsoon: Impressive win for Giant Baba. Mark Henry is still new to the world of pro wrestling, but he is hard man to beat. Maybe he will get an IC title shot after your man does at WrestleMania.
Bobby Heenan: Yep, bubba sure did put a beat down on...wait, what? What do you mean by "your man"? I mean I like Rude but he is not my man.
Gorilla Monsoon: Oh that is right. You have not officially announced yourself as Rude's manager. Anyways it is time for our next match. The Midnight Rockers take on the new, cooky team of The Moondogs.
Midnight Rockers vs The Moondogs
A classic tag team match with double teaming and frequent tags. The surprising part of it was it was The Moondogs who did it. They put Shawn Michaels away with a Moondog Splash.
Winner: The Moondogs via pinfall (2 stars)
A promo for WrestleMania II including matches set for the PPV.
- Bret Hart vs Andre the Giant in a WWF World Championship match - The Invaders vs America's Most Wanted in a WWF World Tag Team Championship match - Jimmy Snuka vs Rick Rude in a WWF Intercontenential Championship match - Son of Havoc vs Killshot in a WWF Light Heavyweight Championship match - Hollywood Blonds vs The Moondogs
Buddy Rogers vs Killer Kowalski
A shocking match that was short and one-sided. Kowalski caught Buddy Rogers off guard and was all over him. A Bombs Away almost earned him the win. He then grabbed Buddy and performed a giant swing. The Invaders started to come down to the ring but Kowalski went for the cover and got the pin (snake eyes) before they could get down to make the save.
Winner: Killer Kowalski by pinfall (1 star)
The Invaders arrived too late for the save but that did not stop them from jumping Killer Kowalski. They were starting to get the better of him when Hollywood Blonds ran down and helped Kowalski fight the nWa members off. The Hart Foundation members sent Buddy and The Invaders out of the ring as Raw ended.
WCW Nitro
Tony Schiavone: I am Tony Schiavone. I am joined by Larry Zbyszko, and this is the last Nitro before the exciting SuperBrawl II PPV.
Larry Zbyszko: Ola Tony. I am looking forward to the WCW World title match at SuperBrawl when AJ Styles defends against Bryan Danielson. It was at the first SuperBrawl that Bryan Danielson won the World title for the first time. Can he repeat the feat at this year's SuperBrawl?
Tony Schiavone: We will find out this weekend but first we have a great night of action here on Nitro. Our opening bout is right now.
Flamita vs Eli Everfly w/Sweet 'n' Sour International
A nice opening match that saw both men show off their ability. In the end Eli Everfly won with Spanish fly.
Winner: Eli Everfly by pinfall (2 stars)
As Sweet 'n' Sour International make their way toward the back the camera catches Juventud Guerrera focusing his attention on the Cruiserweight Championship belt in DJ Z's possession.
Rock-n-Roll Express vs Gilbert Boys
The Express looked to be back in form as they dominated the action and their opponents. The best chance the Gilbert Boys was in the first minute when Doug used the top rope to choke Robert Gibson. He could not do much to follow up on that. After a double team by the Express led to a close pin attempt Robert hit an enzuigiri on Doug and pinned him.
Winner: Rock-n-Roll Express via pinfall (2 stars)
A promo for the next PPV event, SuperBrawl II going down this weekend. The matches signed so far are covered. It appears this will be the final card.
Mike Graham vs Brad Armstrong
A good, fun match between two men who are evenly matched. Both got on runs but, in the end, it was Mike who picked up the win after a Figure Four Leglock.
Winner: Mike Graham by submission (3 stars)
A promo from Bryan Danielson. He said AJ Styles was never good enough to be in the Four Horsemen. That is why he had to be kicked out. AJ got lucky by winning the World title. Bryan says he will be coming for what is his destiny. The WCW World title was his and will be his again.
Big Van Vader vs Drew Galloway
Two men fighting to stay in the World title picture. Vader had the advantage first. Then Drew fought back and was rolling. Big Van Vader started to put a hurt on Drew and made a few pin attempts. A second Vader Bomb in the match and Vader had the W.
Winner: Big Van Vader via pinfall (3 stars)
Even though he won Vader did not seem happy. He beat on Drew some post-match and hit a buckle bomb. Then set up Drew in the corner of the ring and went to the top of the turnbuckle and jumped off into a moonsault onto Drew. Vader stood over him, glaring down at him as Nitro ended.
ECW Chaos
A video showing highlights from the Unhinged PPV. All three titles changed hands. Then at the end the shocking return of Samoa Joe. We are now live.
Joey Styles: Welcome to ECW Chaos. The hottest wrestling show on TV. We have Samoa Joe in our main event and after it I will try and get a word with him to see why he has returned to ECW and what his plans are. I will be also talking to the ring crew member who was brutally attacked by Super Crazy.
The opening promo with highlights of matches, heavy on the violence.
B.J. Whitmer w/"The Prince of Darkness" Kevin Sullivan vs Rocky Kernodle
The fans were behind Rocky from the start which got him pumped and allowed him to take an early advantage. Then it was all B.J. for a couple minutes. Rocky seemed to be making a comeback so Kevin whistled and B.J. acted like Rocky poked him in the eyes. As the referee checked on B.J.'s eyes Kevin slid into the ring and hit Rocky with a fireball. After Kevin vacated the ring B.J. went for the pin. He would have got it if not for Rocky getting his leg on the bottom rope. Kevin tried to push it off before the referee saw it but he was too late. B.J. kept attacking Kevin. Then Kevin got on the apron and as the referee went to order him to get on the floor B.J. hit a Low Blow on Rocky. This time B.J. rolled Rocky up and got the pin.
Winner: B.J. Whitmer via pinfall (2 stars)
LAX cut a promo showing off their ECW World Tag Team title belts. Homicide talks abouit how they did what they said they would do. They beat the tar out of dem boys and took the titles off of them. They will be champs for a long, long time and prove to everyone they are the best tag team today and ever.
MCMG vs War Machine
This was a really good tag team match. A clash of speed vs strength. The Guns started hot and then War Machine got in their licks. The Guns used Thunder Express on Hanson and Chris attempted to pin him. After Hanson kicked out Chris grabbed him and hit Hail Sabin. Then he was able to pin Hanson.
Winner: MCMG by pinfall (3 stars)
Joey Styles: During our Unhinged PPV this past weekend Super Crazy came unhinged and attacked one of our ring crew members. He has been suspended and fined for that attack. Now we are going to talk to that crew member, Brandel Littlejohn, via satellite from his home. Welcome Littlejohn. How are you doing?
We see via split screen the crew member, a thin looking man, that was attacked at the PPV. He is sitting on a nice looking couch in a decent looking apartment. He is wearing a neck brace and winces in pain every now and then.
Brandel Littlejohn: Thank you Joey. You can call me Cheeseburger. That is what all my friends call me. As far as how I am doing, I am sore and in some pain but overall, not too bad.
Joey Styles: Well we here at ECW are wishing you a speedy recovery and hope that you come back and rejoin the ring crew very soon, Cheeseburger.
Brandel Liitlejohn/Cheeseburger: Thank you Joey. I will not be rejoining the ring crew however. It has always been a dream of mine to be a professional wrestler. It is why I joined the ring crew in the first place. To be close to the action. I got a bit too close this weekend but it has inspired me to follow my dream. So, once I am healed I will be continuing my wrestling training. I plan on signing with ECW and meeting Super Crazy in the ring one day.
Joey Styles: Well, best of luck in that and I for one look forward to seeing you in the ring. You just might want to eat a few more cheeseburgers so you can bulk up some.
Bandido w/LWO vs Sabu w/The Sheik and Abdullah Farouk
As the match started Sabu pointed toward the lights and then swung at Bandido who blocked it. The match was back-and-forth for a couple minutes. Then Abdullah Farouk slid a chair into the ring and Sabu picked it up. He used it to nail Bandido with an Arabian facebuster. Sabu tried a couple pin attempts but Bandido kicked out. Sabu grabbed the chair again and set it up. He ran the ropes and performed a Triple Jump Moonsault. He was able to earn the win after that.
Winner: Sabu via pinfall (3 stars)
Inside the lair of the Army of Darkness sitting in his throne is "The Prince of Darkness" Kevin Sullivan. Standing in front of him is Sir Oliver Humperdink.
Kevin Sullivan: I feel like my plans have not been going the way I had laid out. I need to refocus. Come up with something new. I am disbanning the Army of Darkness. You can take Abdullah, One Man Gang, The Spoiler and The Grappler. I shall lead my son Whitmer to greatness. Also, I will gather the armies of the four winds and control the tag team division. Now, go.
It appears that Humperdink is about to say something but decides better of it. He bows to Sullivan and then walks off. Kevin Sullivan sits there deep in thought.
Samoa Joe vs Val Venis
The bell rang to begin the match and Val removed the towel from around his waist. He tossed it on Joe's head and then hit a forearm. He backed off and Joe removed the towel. He did not seem fazed nor happy. He tossed the towel out of the ring and attacked Val. Joe gave a nice beating. Val was able to fight back for a minute or so. He went for one pin attempt and Joe kicked out at one. Then Val went for his Money Shot finisher. He hit it but again Joe kicked out. Then Joe was able to go back on the offense. A powerbomb that he transitioned into a Boston crab. After that it took a pair of Muscle Busters to finish Val off.
Winner: Samoa Joe by pinfall (2 stars)
Val Venis rolled out of the ring and slowly made his way into the back. Passing him on the ramp was Joey Styles who came down and entered the ring.
Joey Styles: Welcome back Joe. People want to know, what brought you back to ECW?
A stare from Joe but he does not say anything.
Joey Styles: Um, ok then. Are you planning on going after our new World champion, Shane Dougla?
Again, just staring from Joe before he puts a hand on Joey's shoulder and pushed him to the side. Joe walks off, leaves the ring and walks up the ramp.
Joey Styles: Well, that was productive. Samoa Joe, a man of few words. Thank you for watching and tune in next week for another exciting episode of ECW Chaos.
Before Chaos ends, we see Val Venis, nursing his wounds, walking in back. He turns a corner and stops. He stands tall and smiles.
Val Venis: Heeeeeeello lady. Why are you all dressed up like that? Who are you?
A woman in a matching light blue wrestling gear outfit; shorts, crop top and mask with black straps on top walks into the camera shot. Val Venis is looking her up and down when a shadow is cast over the two of them as something is blocking some of the lights. Val looks up and his eyes which were already big as he checked out the woman got even better.
Val Venis: What the hell is that??!!
The show ends with no answer.

SuperBrawl II - WCW
An opening hype video for the PPV covering the matches tonight.
Tony Schiavone: Welcome to SuperBrawl. I am Tony Schiavone, and this is Larry Zbyszko.
Larry Zbyszko: Greetings and salutations. We have a great card ahead of us tonight, Tony.
Tony Schiavone: That we do Larry, that we do. We have done enough talking about it. Let's get to that great action with our opening match and it is for the WCW Cruiserweight Championship.
DJ Z w/Sweet 'n' Sour International vs Ricochet in a WCW Cruiserweight Championship match
An exciting match that saw both men flying around the ring. Momentum going from one man to the other. It was an even match that lasted several minutes. It seemed like it might go longer than DJ Z put a nice string of offense together. He hit a lucha arm drag and followed it up with a Moonassault. Then he went to the apron and hit a springboard crossbody. A cover and a shocking pin (snake eyes).
Winner: DJ Z via pinfall to retain (3 stars)
After the bell Juvi went over and grabbed the Cruiserweight Championship belt. He walked off to the back leaving his stable mates caught a bit off guard. DJ Z turns toward Sweeney and motions toward Juvi. Larry is working on calming DZ J down.
Midnight Express w/James E Cornette vs Rock-n-Roll Express
The Rock-n-Roll Express came out to loud female cheers. After the hot opening match, we got a hot tag team match. Robert Gibson tossed Bobby Eaton into the corner. He rushed in and Bobby sent him flying thru the ropes and onto the floor. After beating on Robert on the floor Bobby rolled him into the ring. He set Robert into the corner and went to the top rope. Bobby jumped off and Robert lifted his knees. Bobby crashed on them and Robert went for the pin. R-n-R kept control for a couple more minutes and made another pin attempt. Then Bobby was able to counter a move and tag out. Stan Lane came in and took the fight to Ricky Morton. After wearing him down some he tagged Bobby and they performed a drop toehold & elbow. Bobby was able to pin Ricky. The Midnight Express got another one over the R-n-R Express.
Winner: Midnight Express by pinfall (3 stars)
A shot of Bryan Danielson and Ric Flair arriving to the arena in a limo. They look to be all business before Bryan's World title shot later tonight.
Zicky Dice vs Disco Inferno in a Dance Off match
The men stared at each other a bit. Then the referee signaled to start the music. Both men motion for the other to start. Finally the referee tells Disco to go first. He does some Travota Saturday Night Fever moves. Then Zicky does some Running Man followed by the Cabbage Patch. Disco laughs at Zicky. It does not sit well with Zicky who pushes Disco. A shock look on Disco then he gets a mad expression and shoves Zicky back. Both men turn to the referee and say something. The referee nods his head, makes a gesture to cut the music and calls for the bell. It seems this has gone from a Dance Off to a standard match.
Zicky licks his hand and chops Disco. It really stung from Disco's reaction and Zicky wasted no time following it up. He kept the pressure on and after a cannonball he tried a pin but Disco kicked out. A couple minutes later Zicky put an ankle lock on Disco. A bit of a struggle from Disco and then he tapped out.
Winner: Zicky Dice via pinfall (1 star)
After the match was over Zicky looked down at Disco, who was rubbing his ankle, for a bit. Then he offered his hand to help Disco up. Disco looked at it a bit then got a mad expression and slapped it away. Zicky started yelling at Disco who yelled back. Then the sound of rap music is heard. Then a large, hefty man comes out. Tony identifies him as P.N. News.
P.N. News: Yo, yo, yo. This is no time for hate. Get back to dancing before it's too late. You used to be friends that were best. Let me join you two and we will be better than the rest.
He gets in the ring and both Zicky and Disco look at him like they are not sure what they are seeing. News just smiles at them with a big cheesy grin. He puts out his hand to Zicky who slowly takes it and shakes it. Then News offeres his hand to Disco. After a long pause Disco takes it and News helps him to his feet. News lightly slaps them each on their shoulder and then starts dancing. He goes to the ropes and holds them apart and motions for the other two to exit. They slowly do and then he joins them on the floor. He starts dancing and encourages Zicky and Disco to join him. It takes a bit but soon they are dancing too. Their moods seem to improve, and all three men dance their way into the back.
Tony Schiavone: Well, that just happened.
Larry Zbyszko: I am more into the Swim and the Potato but that was not as bad as it could have been, I guess.
Moose w/Ric Flair vs Michael Elgin in a WCW United States Heavyweight Championship match
A hard hitting match that saw both men tear into each other. It was Elgin who first had a chance to pick up the W. He hit a Black Hole Slam and followed it up with a lariat and pin attempt. When Moose kicked out Elgin grabbed him and hit an Elgin Bomb. Flair could tell him man was in trouble so he entered the ring and dropped an elbow on Elgin as the referee was starting to count. The referee ordered Flair to return to the back. Flair put on a show to keep the referee's, and Elgin's, attention on him. Flair took off his sports coat. He took off his Rolex and put it in his pants pocket. He started to roll up his sleeves. The referee kept ordering him to return to the lockers. Once Flair saw Moose had recovered, he grabbed his coat, pointed at the referee and Elgin, had words for both and then left and went into the back.
Then Moose attacked Elgin. He used a lariat, an Avalanche and then a Pounce. Elgin was showing fatigue. Then Moose set Elgin up and hit his Spear finisher. That looked to be the end of the match but Moose gloated a bit too much before making the cover. Elgin kicked out just in time. Moose kept going in an attempt to put Elgin away. He put Elgin on a turnbuckle and hit a high jump corner dropkick. Then it was corner shoulder thrusts. Just when it looked like it was over Elgin started to battle back. He caught Moose off guard and hit a second Elgin Bomb. Elgin hooked Moose's legs and the referee counted the pin.
Winner: Michael Elgin by pinfall to win the title (4 stars)
A ring crew member brings out the long chain for the next match.
BG James w/Kip James and Chyna vs Ivan Koloff w/Nikita Koloff in the first fall of a Best of 3 falls Chain match
Both men get the chain attached to their wrists and the match is underway. Ivan hits a high hip toss. That allowed him to have an early edge. Then he tried to hit BG with the chain but BG ducked and hit Ivan with the chain. BG gets in a small bit of offense before Ivan goes back on the attack. The match goes out to the floor and Ivan used the chain to put a hurt on BG. Back in the ring BG regains control and tosses Ivan out of the ring. BG is about to go out after him but Ivan yanks on the chain causing BG to crash into the ring post. Once again the action returns to the ring and Ivan used his Bear Hug finisher to wear BG down. Then Ivan wraps some of the chain around his knee before going to the top rope. He jumps off and nails BG with a Top Rope Knee Drop. He easily pins BG after that.
Winner: Ivan Koloff via pinfall to go up 1 fall to none (2 stars)
As Nikita and Ivan celebrate their win in the first fall Kip checks on BG. Then Kip puts the chain on his wrist and Nikita does the same. Nikita looks confident that he will win and give him and his uncle the clean sweep.
Kip James w/BG James and Chyna vs Nikita Koloff w/Ivan Koloff in the second fall of a Best of 3 falls Chain match
Nikita started strong but Kip fought back. He wrapped the chain around Nikita's neck and flung him across the ring. Then Kip wrapped the chain around his wrist. He kept slugging Nikita's forehead until he busted it open and some blood started to flow out of it. Kip kept on the attack. After a couple unsuccessful pin attempts he piled some of the chain on the mat. He grabbed Nikita and hit a Famouser onto the chain pile. Kip made the pin to even the match.
Winner: Kip James by pinfall to tie it up 1 fall apiece (2 stars)
It is time for the third fall and to decide who will start for each team. Nikita wants to go for his team to make up for the loss but with the blood on his face Ivan insists it will be him. Kip and BG are talking and like Nikita, BG wants a chance to avenge his loss but Kip is saying he is fresher. As the two of them decide to use rock, paper, scissors to pick who goes Chyna walks up, gently pushes both to the side and grabs the chain. She puts it on her wrist. BG and Kip look at each other and try and talk her out of it. She glares at them and both of them took a step back. Chyna motioned for Ivan to put on the other end of the chain. He waves off and refuses. He points to BG and Kip and gives thumb up. He points and Chyna and wiggles his finger. Nikita goes over to try and put the chain on his wrist but Ivan pulls him off. When it becomes obvious that Chyna will be going for her team Ivan leads Nikita off to the back. The referee calls the match a no contest.
Winner: none, No Contest as match was tied 1-1
Tony Schiavone: It is just about time for our World Tag Team Championship match. But first, an announcement regarding the tag team division. Over in the singles division we have a World title and just below that in importance is the US title. Well, that is about to be the case in tag team wrestling in WCW. There will soon be a tournament to crown the first United States Tag Team Champions. More information will be coming soon on Nitro. Now, time for our next match.
Road Warriors w/Paul Ellering vs reDRagon in a WCW World Tag Team Championship match
In a night of great matches this one was right there with them. It started with the champs trying to overpower the challengers. Hawk was beating on Kyle O'Reily and tagged Animal so they could double team Kyle. From there it was all about the power of the Road Warriors vs the wrestling ability of reDRagon. The champs made numerous pin attempts on Kyle but he refused to be pinned. Animal even used a camel cluth on Kyle a few times with no success. Then reDRagon worked over Animal and hit their finisher but he kicked out. Desperate to get a breather Animal made a hot tag to Hawk. It seemed like this match could go either way. At the nearly 20 minute mark Animal and Bobby Fish ended on the floor. Animal grabbed a chair but before he could use it, and likely be disqualified, Bobby took it from him and smashed it on his head. That DID get reDRagon disqualified.
Winner: Road Warriors via disqualification (4 stars)
Bobby could not believe the lapse in judgement and how it cost his team. He was apologizing to Kyle who brushed it off as just one of those things that happens. Hawk checks on Animal. They seem a bit pissed but Paul talks them out of taking any action against their opponents.
Tony Schiavone: It is time for your main event of the evening. The challenger will have Ric Flair in his corner, but AJ Styles will not have his America Bullet Club faction mates the Good Brothers in his corner. They had obligations over in Japan for NJPW.
AJ Styles vs Bryan Danielson w/Ric Flair in a WCW World Heavyweight Championship match
This might have been match of the night. After a small bit of back-and-forth AJ started to take control of the action. He hit a Styles Clash but it was still too early in the match and Bryan kicked out. Flair was jawing with AJ who went and hit a second Style Clash pretty much right in front of Flair. Too close as it was because as AJ made the cover Flair grabbed Bryan's arm and placed it on the bottom rope then yelled for the referee to make sure he saw it. AJ got heated and dragged Bryan to the middle of the ring and hit a thrid Styles Clash. He coverd Bryan, stared right at Flair and counted with the ref. One...two...kick out. AJ should have hooked the leg and worked more on the cover.
Bryan fought back for a short bit and then AJ was back in control. He went to the top rope and hit a flying clothesline on Bryan who was gasping for air and in trouble. After a Phenomenal DDT Styles went to the top rope again. Flair waved toward the back and the rest of the Four Horsemen came out. The Midnight Express got on the apron which got the referee to come over and demand they get down. As he was distracted Moose got in the ring and hit a nasty Spear on AJ. The referee ordered the three men to leave the ring area. He started to tell Flair to do the same but Flair said he did not do anything. Bryan rolled on top of Styles and the referee turned around to make the count. AJ kicked out.
Finally Bryan got his offense going. He worked AJ over and made a couple pin attempts but AJ kicked out. Then the next few mintues saw action go from one man in control to the other. The action went to the floor and Bryan was holding AJ when Flair went to hit AJ with a forearm but AJ broke away and Flair nailed Bryan. He could not believe what happend. Flair's hands were on his head as he checked on Bryan. AJ came over and rolled Bryan back into the ring. AJ's advantage did not last long. Bryan put AJ in Cattle Mutilation. AJ fought hard to get out of the move and stay in the match. But the pain was too much, and he tapped out.
Winner: Bryan Danielson by submission to win the title (4 stars)
Flair joins Bryan in the ring and puts the title belt around his waist.
Tony Schiavone: Well, the Horsemen lost a title and earned a title today. Bryan Danielson did what he said he would do. He won the World title again.
Larry Zbyszko: That is true Tony, but I do not see AJ going anywhere anytime soon. He will be trying to get that title back from Bryan.
Tony Schiavone: So true, Larry. For Larry Zbyszko I am Tony Schiavone. Thank you for watching SuperBrawl and join us this week for WCW Nitro. Have a good night.

What a great show Super Brawl was. Your dice were very kind to you as it doesn't seem like there was a bad match in the bunch.
The dance-off was fun. Too bad it ended before someone could break out The Mashed Potato or The Shopping Cart. I'm really out of touch with dance moves as I had to YouTube The Cabbage Patch. Great to see that P.N. News was able to help Disco & Dice patch things up.
Congrats to Danielson on winning the World Title.
Great stuff as always.👍

Yes the dice were kind and I enjoyed this PPV more than any I've rolled in a long time. Sometimes the matches end quickly (darn you snake eyes, the dice roll not you GI Joe legend Snake Eyes) or they go a long time with no pin attempts and start to get boring (someone pin someone already). But there was great flow and each match entertained me.
