ECW Unhinged
2 Cold Scorpio over D'lo Brown for the TV Championship by pinfall after a flip leg drop to win the title. (3 stars)
The former champ almost won the match in the first couple minutes with his finisher. But D'lo wasn't going down without a fight. Numerous Tombstones weakened him and a flip leg drop finally finished him off. It ended his two day run as TV champ.
Samoa Joe beat Marshe Rockett by pinfall after a Muscle Buster. (1 star)
Marshe had a few matches in ECW but this was his PPV debut. He got destroyed by Joe in his ECW in ring debut.
Taz w/Bill Alfonso over Sabu by pinfall after Tazmission Plex.
Sabu entered the ring after the lights went out and came back on. It gave him a short lived advantage. The men fought tooth and nail both in the ring and around it. Taz came out on top.
The Pitbulls beat The Mongrols in a World Tag Team Championship match by pinfall when Pitbull #1 pinned Geeto Mongrol after a double team Super Bomb to retain the title. This was a wild brawl. Both teams had momentum throughout the match. The Mongrols used their chains while The Pitbulls used chairs. This feud might not be over just yet.
Raven over Tommy Dreamer by pinfall after a Raven Effect DDT thru a table.
This was no wrestling match. It was a pier six brawl. Tommy Dreamer set up a table outside of the ring and laid Raven on it. He got on the apron to jump off but Raven rolled off the table. In the ring the match looked over as Raven hit a second drop toe-hold into a chair then his finisher, Raven Effect DDT. But Dreamer kicked out. Frustrated Raven pulled Dreamer out of the ring and put him on the table. Raven climbed on it and hit another Raven Effect DDT crashing thru the table. Back in the ring Raven made the cover.
One Man Gang beat The Sandman in a World Championship match via pinfall after a running corner splash to win the title.
The champ came thru the crowd to the sound of Enter Sandman. He stopped a couple times to pop a cold one, smashing the near empty can on his head. One Man Gang paced inside the ring ready to get to work.
The champ was rolling till he tossed Gang into the corner. Gang bounced out and ran over Sandman. The large man pounded on the champion till he finally got the three count. As One Man Gang holds his title up to celebrate Samoa Joe ran in and smashed a chair into his back. A couple more hits with the chair had Gang laid out. Joe grabbed a mic.
Samoa Joe: Enjoy that title while you can. You are just holding it for the real world champion. He will be here soon and when he arrives he will be taking it from you.

February week 1, year 1
WWF Raw
Dan Spivey over Lanny Poffo by pinfall following a Power Bomb. (1 star)
Poffo started off by strutting around then slapping Spivey. He instantly regretted it seeing Spivey's expression. He offers his hand to shake but Spivey pulled him for a short arm clothesline. From there he dominated the match.
It seems The Mountie and The Sheik found something they agree on. The WWF is not big enough for both of them. So at WrestleMania they will face off in a Loser Leaves Town match. Now we have our first Mania match this year.
Iron Sheok & Nikolai Volkoff over The Hart Dynasty by pinfall when Volkoff pinned Tedd Hart after a Backbreaker Drop. (2 stars)
Koko B Ware beat Mr. Fuji via DQ. (3 stars) Momentum went back and forth over first few minutes. Fuji hit his finisher a couple times but Koko kicked out. After that Fuji was dominating but couldn't get the pin. It led to him trying an underhanded tactic. He threw salt in Koko's eyes. Unfortunately for him the ref saw it and called the match.
Big John Studd, King Kong Bundy and Bobby Heenan come down for the main event. Bobby is irate and goes over to the announcer's table.
Bobby Heenan: What the heck is going on around here? We get told we are in the main event just a couple hours ago but not against who. No one seems to know who our opponents are. What kind of monkey operation is being ran around here? Well I tell you this, Jack Tunney has some explaining to do tomorrow.
He then joins his men in the ring. The entrance music for Andre the Giant plays and he comes out to the entrance.
Bobby Heenan: What is this? Hey Andre, you big buffoon this is a tag match. You have no partner so you shouldn't be out here. Get back to the back and do something useful. Like change the light bulbs that maintenance need a ladder to reach.
Andre rubs his hands and smiles. Then he points to the entrance. It seems he does have a partner as out comes the great Tony Atlas.
Andre the Giant and Tony Atlas beat Big John Studd & King Kong Bundy w/Bobby Heenan by pinfall when Andre covered Bundy after a Big Splash. (1 star)
Studd who usually starts the match stood on the apron and told Bundy to start. Atlas was all over him and after a pin attempt he tagged Andre in. He hit his finisher and Studd didn't even try a save. However as Andre and Tony celebrated Studd took a chair from Heenan and entered the ring. He smashed it over Andre's back forcing the giant to his knees then another quick hit to Andre's head laid him out. Tony looked at Studd but was held back by the chair then was leveled by Bundy. Security ran down and ordered Bundy and Studd out of the ring. Medical staff checked on Andre and they were trying to figure out how to move him to the back to examine him better.
WCW Nitro
The Fantastics beat Hammer & Sickle (Boris Zhukov and Ivan Koloff) by pinfall when Bobby Fulton pinned Ivan Koloff after a cross body block. (1 star)
The Fantastics speed was too much for the Russians. They used frequent tags and double team moves to control the match. They hit both of their double team finishers but Ivan kicked out. When Bobby hit the cross body Boris tried to make the save but was cut off by Tommy. The fans were very happy with the results.
Announcement of two new matches for the SuperBrawl PPV. Lou Thesz will be defending the NWA World Championship title. Also the Midnight Express will defend their WCW World Tag Team Championship against a team from NJPW. The actual opponents will be announced next week.
David Taylor beat Stan Lane by pinfall after a British Suplex. (1 star)
Stan went to management and asked for a single match. Could this be the end of the Heavenly Bodies? Either way Stan probably questioned his request. As the match started Stan went toward David who rolled out of the ring. Stan chased him around the ring a couple times and once he followed David into the ring David went to work and dominated the action.
Standing in the ring is James Cornette.
James Cornette: Well it's time. Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, stand up and put your hands together. Here are the Rock-n-Roll Xpress.
The fans go wild as one of their favorites is returning. But the roar quickly dims as the Jumbotron says "Rock-n-Roll Xpress" and it is not Ricky Morton or Robert Gibson who come out. Instead it's a young tag team dressed in fashion like the R-n-R. It is the team from NWA:TNA known as Generation Me. The brothers Matt and Nick Jackson. It seems Cornette pulled a fast one on the fans. The brothers join Cornette in the ring.
James Cornette: All right boys. It's time for your first match under my world class level management. Make me proud boys.
Rock-n-Roll Xpress w/James Cornette beat Samoan Swat Team by pinfall when Nick pinned Alofa following a 450 Splash. (2 stars)
It was almost a bad debut for Xpress. SST had Matt in trouble. It looked like the match would be over quickly but James hit Alofa with his tennis racket. From there it was all Xpress. A few double team and single finishers before Nick finally got the win.
Harley Race beat Killer Kowalski in a US Championship match by pinfall with a Piledriver to retain the title. (2 stars)
Kowalski started hot and looked like he might win the title but Race fought back and defended his title successfully.
ECW Chaos
Necros Butcher beat Al Snow by pinfall following a Choose Death. (2 stars)
Necro was rolling early and stunned Al with a series of headbutts. Later Al fought back and went for a headbutt. After one he went and got Head and used it to deliver more headbutts. He then tossed Necro out of the ring and tried flinging himself over the top rope onto Necro but Necro just caught him. Soon after Necro finished Al off.
We see Raven sitting in a dark corner of the arena.
Raven: They say to understand a man you need to walk a mile in his shoes. But I have walked so many paths in my life. Many thru dark valleys, some thru the fires of Hell. So someone would have to walk 100 miles. At a minimum. The question I now pose to myself is what is next. I should be ECW World Champion. Do I go after the new champion One Man Gang? Do I go after the man who laid him out, Samoa Joe? Or do I go after the man Joe speaks of, this he that is coming? I must search my soul for the answer. The one thing I know is whichever path I take will lead to the same place...the World title. Quote the Raven...NEVERMORE!!!
Chris Sabin beat Marshe Rockett by pinfall after a Cradle Shock. (2 stars)
Rockett hit his finisher early but couldn't put Chris away. Chris fought back, used a superkick to set Rockett up and hit one of his finishers to pick up the W.
A promo from Taz and Bill Alfonso about how Taz deserves a World title shot.
Kenny King w/Rhett Titus beat Wolfie D w/JC Ice via pinfall with a Coronation. (1 star)
This was the single version of an ongoing rivalry between All Night Express and The Streets. King was rolling as he kept hitting his finisher. When it looked like Wolfie would not be able to kick out finally JC Ice jumped on the apron to distract the ref. Titus pulled him off and the two men brawled. King wasn't going to waste time and he his Coronation one more time and got the three count.
New ECW World Champion One Man Gang makes his way down to the ring.
One Man Gang: Unhinged should have been a great night for me. At the end of the PPV after winning this (he holds the title belt up) I should have celebrated. I did not get too. Why? Because that bitch Samoa Joe attacked me from behind. Then he ran his mouth about some "he" that is on his way. Well I want some answers. So Joe, get your punk ass out here.
OMG paces the ring till Joe finally comes out and enters the ring.
One Man Gang: You keep talking about some man that is coming. Well tell us. Who is he? When is he coming?
Samoa Joe stares at Gang and gets a sly grin on his face. Then slowly raises an arm and points toward the entrance. After a pause familiar music plays and out comes a familiar face. A man not seen in ECW in two years. SHANE DOUGLAS. He is all cocky smile and attitude. He looks behind him and the sexy Francine walks out and puts her hands on his shoulders and kisses his cheek. One Man Gang just glares at him as the show ends.

February week 2, year 1
WWE Raw
Virgil over Hillbilly Jim by submission with a Cobra Clutch. (3 stars)
The big man had the early advantage due to his power. However Virgil showed grit and fought back. He pulled off the upset with the Cobra Clutch.
We see Vince McMahon standing in the ring. Vince: Recently WWF signed the hottest tag team from the indies. The most sought after free agents. A couple daredevils that excite fans everywhere they go. Put your hands together for Jeff and Matt Hardy, The Hardyz.
The brothers come out to a loud pop. This is a big signing for sure. They slap hands with fans as they make their way to the ring. They finally get in the ring and shake hands with Vince. Then over the speakers a loud "What a rush!" and out walk the WWE Tag Team champions, LOD.
Hawk: Well, well well. What do we have here. A couple pencil necked geeks. They come in with all kinds of fanfare like they are all that. I bet you two want a shot at these belts huh. What do ya think Animal?
Animal: I say we squash these bugs before they infest the place. What better place than WrestleMania. We can show the world who the best tag team is. It's not a couple boys but the two red meat eating, butt kicking, son of a guns with the belts. The Legion Of Doom. See you boys at WrestleMania. Reserve your hospital beds now to beat the rush.
Blackjack Mulligan beat Marty Jannetty by submission with his Clawhold finisher. (3 stars)
In a classic matchup of power against speed. Blackjack was in control the first couple minutes then Marty was all over him. Marty used hit and run to wear down the big hoss. It looked like we'd see the second upset of the night when Blackjack slapped on the Clawhold and Marty could not escape.
Blackjack Mulligan: Bobo Brazil, I still haven't got a response from you. Will you face me and WrestleMania or not?
The Titantron comes on and we see Bobo.
Bobo Brazil: You want me in a Bunkhouse match? Fine. I will see you at WrestleMania and I promise you this. I will be the last thing you see that night.
New Age Outlaws over The Sheepherders by pinfall when Billy Gunn pinned Luke Williams after a Famouser. (1 star)
The Outlaws attacked The Sheepherders before the bell and tossed Butch out. They looked pissed about something. As the bell rang Road Dogg worked Luke over and almost got a quick pin. He tagged Billy in who attacked Luke with no mercy and hit his finisher for the win.
Road Dogg Jesse James: Yo LOD. Me and the Bad Ass Billy Gunn see you are throwing out title shots and feeling indestructible. We have unfinished business with you. So how about adding us to this title match. Let's make it a Triple Threat at WrestleMania.
Ted DiBiase over Bret Hart in a WWF Intercontinental Championship match by pinfall after a fist drop to win the title. (2 stars)
After a couple minutes of back and forth Ted put Bret in the Figure Four. Bret reversed it. Soon Ted applied it again and this time Bret got a rope break. It appeared Ted pulled something out of his trunks and placed it in his glove. He went to the second rope and dropped a fist on Bret. A cover and Bret made no attempt to kick out. We have a new IC champ.
WCW Nitro
This is the last Monday Night Nitro before the SuperBrawl PPV. We find out the names of the two mysterious opponents at the PPV. Midnight Express will face the IWGP Tag Team Champions from NJPW Steve "Dr Death" Williams and Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy as The Miracle Violence Connection. Only the WCW Tag Team Championship will be on the line. Meanwhile Lou Thesz will defend the NWA World title against former two time British National Champion, Nigel McGuinness.
Kevin Sullivan over Finlay by pinfall after a Double Foot Stomp. (1 star)
Finlay was in control for most of the match. Things turned the second time he threw Kevin out of the ring. The first time he waited for Kevin to get back in but this time he went out after Kevin. A brutal brawl and Kevin rolled Finlay in. He quickly hit his finisher and got the pin.
James Cornette is in the locker room when Midnight Express walk in.
Dennis Condrey: James what is this crap with the "Rock-n-Roll Xpress". We ran the real ones out of WCW and then you bring in these young punks to pretend to be them. What's going on?
James Cornette: I'm just expanding my stable. They are still young but they will be great one day.
Bobby Eaton: Yea well just remember who the champs are. We are the ones that make you money.
Midnight Express walks off while James seems amused.
Rock-n-Roll Xpress w/James Cornette over Armstrongs by pinfall when Matt pinned Bob after a moonsault. (1 star)
Bob's age was showing as Matt and Nick used frequent tags and their speed to stay two steps ahead of him. He kicked out of a few pin attempts but was finally pinned.
Bryan Danielson is tapping his wrists as he prepared for the main event tonight. Ric Flair walks in.
Ric Flair: I just wanted to wish you luck in your match tonight and in your title match at the PPV.
Bryan Danielson: (gets up and walks past Ric stopping only to speak over his shoulder) I don't need luck old man. That's the difference between you and me.
Tommy Rich beat Masked Superstar by pinfall following an elbow smash. (1 star)
A look at the card for the SuperBrawl PPV. Including a recently added match.
- Buddy Rogers vs Bryan Danielson for the WCW World Championship.
- Midnight Express vs MVC for the WCW World Tag Team Championship.
- Lou Thesz vs Nigel McGuinness for the NWA World Championship.
- Super Crazy vs Missing Link.
- Rock-n-Roll Xpress vs Heavenly Bodies. - Kevin Sullivan vs Finlay.
Bryan Danielson beat Tracy Smothers via submission with Cattle Mutilation. (2 stars)
A good warm up match for Bryan as he had little trouble.
ECW Chaos
The Grappler beat Tommy Dreamer by pinfall after a Loaded Boot. (1 star)
In a bit of an upset The Grappler won. He was pounding on Tommy then stomped his foot before kicking Tommy and making the cover. After Jerry Lynn came running out and tried to tell the ref that he thought The Grappler loaded his boot.
A video showing stock footage of people fighting and rioting. A voice over "Violence is getting worse and worse. No place more so than in ECW. It is time for someone to stand up to the violence. To stomp it out. So they are coming. They will battle the violence. They are...The Saints."
The Streets beat The Mongols by pinfall when Wolfie D pinned Bepo Mongol after a flying face slam. (2 stars)
The Mongols were dominating most of the action. Things changed when Bepo was chasing Wolfie D around the ring and JC Ice hit him with a hubcap. The Streets worked Bepo over and soon had the victory.
Soon as the match was over All Night Express came flying down the entrance ramp and started fighting with The Streets. They ended up brawling into the back.
ECW World Champion is in the ring.
One Man Gang: So Shane Douglas has decided to return to ECW. He wants my title. Well why don't you come down here Shane and we have a non title match. See if you have what it takes to beat me.
The music for Shane plays and he comes out with Francine and Samoa Joe. They stop by the entrance.
Shane Douglas: I'd love nothing more than to come down there and put you in your place. But my ECW contract isn't finalized quite yet so I'm not cleared to wrestle. However my man Samoa Joe is. How about you wrestle him?
One Man Gang: Fine by me. Send him down.
One Man Gang beat Samoa Joe w/Shane Douglas and Francine in a non title match by DQ. (2 stars)
The champ was controlling the action. Things went to the floor and the men viciously brawled. The ref was letting it go. Once Shane got involved and started beating on One Man Gang the ref decided that was enough. It meant a rare DQ in ECW.
One Man Gang grabbed a chair and swung it keeping Shane and Joe at bay. He slowly backed his way up the ramp when someone came running out from the back and leveled him from behind. It is Chris Candido. He smiles at Shane and walks over toward him. Shane, Joe and Chris point and laugh at Gang. Then they look into the camera and each man hold up a hand with three fingers, middle to pinkie, up in the air.
