Not quite official yet, but barring some extremely crazy crazy outcomes, I am 2-0 and have the high score for my 14 team league for both weeks. My first year ever doing just 1 league, and luckily its off to a good start. I'd rather have those high scores in the playoffs, but I hope the trend can continue.

I have a question that is not FF related but it is NFL related. Has anyone noticed that after some scores and/or big plays the networks use a camera that gives the players the look of video game players? It seems to make the background out of focus and gives the players a shine or something that makes me think of players in Madden. Looks like a cartoon of the guy. Not sure if is a computer altered photo or something. Certainly an odd change this year. I have even noticed it when showing the side line reporter sometimes. I really think it is done to look like Madden. To kind of blend real football with video game football. |

UGH!!! Run CMC is out with an injury again. I swear if I play FF next year and if I get the 1st pick again I am passing on him. Either I am a curse for him or he is a curse for me. All I know is there is a lot of cursing going on right now.

What a crazy ride this week has been. Based on projected points I was a slight favorite then Thursday happened. Having Run CMC go down with only 5 points killed me. I was a big underdog. As Sunday early games started my players were flat. I had drafted Justin Herbert as my QB1 but he had been meh first couple weeks. I know everyone was high on him going into this week but I thought a road game against a mad KC would be tough and sat him. Then he went off. My back up started in the afternoon games and began by going 1-6 on passes. I thought I really messed up. Then Stafford got it into gear and shined. I thought he out scored Justin but Justin had a 2pt play I missed so he had a slight lead over Stafford. So with my team done and my opponent having CeeDee Lamb on MNF I am calling a win for me. I might have jinked myself but with Lamb needing 43.05 points to beat me I feel confident. If I was told before the week started I would have 5 points from CMC, 2 points from TJ and 5.3 from Woods I would have thought I lost and lost bad. As is I might end up with the 3rd highest score this week.

This is not FF related but I did not want to start a thread just for this. This is an ESPN headline on their site that MAYBE could have been worded better. Then again maybe it was just me that read it wrong the first time.

My opponent this week lost CMC, so despite him having the 2nd highest total points in the league, I am a 66% favorite. So far so good. |

I've been where he was being the 2nd best one week and losing. The Browns D is a bit of an issue with me. I picked them up for 2nd week and they didn't do much so I dropped them then they go do that last week. Oh well. |

Well my guys are sucking for the most part this week. Gonna lose. When it is all done I will have to see if sitting Cordarrelle Patterson cost me the W. He is over 20 points...in the first half. Yikes. I will put him in the line-up next week which means he will not do much I am sure.
