With one week left, I'm guaranteed either a 1 or 2 seed. Which means I'm going to have a first round loss because that's just the way it works!

Meanwhile I am over here sinking faster than the Titanic. I have two weeks left and sliding out of the main playoffs for top 4 teams. Right now, I am tied with two teams for 4th but have them beat on points. Unfortunately, this week I get to play the team in 2nd. Then next week it is the team in 1st. So, yea, losing record and consolation playoffs for me this year. Odds are I should win that. I'm number five, I'm number five, I'm number five. |

Sitting at 11-2 and play the last place team this week. 2nd place team is 10-3 and plays the #3 team. Even if I lose and he wins, he needs to score 185 more points than me. Pretty sure I have the #1 seed and only bye in the playoffs locked up.
So now I am basically waiting 2 weeks for my next meaningful game. The semifinals start the first night I start holiday vacation and the Super bowl ends the night before I go back to work. So basically I will be a nervous wreck about football my whole vacation. Love it!

Sitting at 11-2 and play the last place team this week. 2nd place team is 10-3 and plays the #3 team. Even if I lose and he wins, he needs to score 185 more points than me. Pretty sure I have the #1 seed and only bye in the playoffs locked up. So now I am basically waiting 2 weeks for my next meaningful game. We did have an 8 team playoff when our league was 16 teams. But in my opinion you should never have more than half the league in your playoffs. If you have a 12 team league then really it should be no more than a 6 team playoff IMO. My league is 14 teams, with a 7 team playoff. |

I definitely made some costly start sits down the stretch but its a $25 league so I’m not too pressed. In my big money leagues I locked up a playoff spot in both leagues. In 1 of the leagues the rules seemed odd at 1st but now I appreciate them. 2 teams get in on record. 2 teams get in on points scored. You start the playoffs with your weekly average score and whoever has the highest point total at the end of the 3 week playoff wins the league. The best team wins, not the luckiest. |

Good luck! i start the playoffs of my 10 team-6 teams in playoffs and I play a 6-7 team this week. Missed the bye by 15 points. I definitely made some costly start sits down the stretch but its a $25 league so I’m not too pressed. In my big money leagues I locked up a playoff spot in both leagues. Some guys in my league have been asking to move to a similar playoff qualifying process. I dont care for it. I would be up for a league where you play everyone each week and the top records go to a playoff where the top scorers each week survive, so its less on luck of matchup and more on the better team. Oh and for a 10 team league (which is too small IMO) I like the format of 4 playoff teams with 2 weeks each playoff matchup. 6 is still more than half the league. |

So, I was mistaken. I played the 1st place team this week and have the 2nd place team next week. I got a big fat goose egg from McLaurin and only 0.90 from Schultz. So as expected it looks like I am going to win. I hold a slim .38 point lead with his team done while I still have Sony Michel left tomorrow night. So, as long as Michel does not get negative points I should win. That means a guaranteed winning season. I MIGHT still slip into the regular playoffs. Seriously, fantasy football makes about as much sense as Steiner math. Oh, I won thanks to my D (Dallas, 22) and K (Joseph, 13).
