Funny fact, Josh Jacobs two best weeks so far were weeks I was going against him. Not saying I'm cursed. Not saying I'm not.

After my post, I saw that my opponent had a pretty crappy week and Roquan Smith (IDP league) may help me get win number 2, WOOT!

Won my 2nd week of pickem this week thanks to the Vikings! Lots of close games I won by 1/2 a point including on the Hopkins Hail Mary and Chubb running out of bounds at the 1 vs. Houston.

I always used to load up on tackling machines like Ray Lewis and Eric Turner. When we used play with IDP, I had Urlacher against the Cardinals. He had 19 tackles and a forced fumble. It was the game where Dennis Green flipped out in the post game. We all still laugh about how many points he put up that night.

Funny note, I never even watched it. When the Cards got that big lead, I went to do something else!

When I saw I had the 1st pick in my FF league this year I was so excited. Ended up being the beginning of a lost season for me. Looks like I will get just the 3 games out of Run CMC. So in a way my 1st pick was the 10th and final pick of the 2nd round. That was Drake.
Granted I made some mistakes that led to being currently 7th out of 10 in scoring but having the 3rd most points scored against me does not help.

Dude, I had prime placement. 7th pick in a 10 man league (2 guys dropped out due to not wanting to play during the effed up covid season). Lamar Jackson fell to me in a superflex, idp league! Yahoo rated me as the only A draft (I always take these ratings with a grain of salt). Am now 2-9 and assured of the number 1 pick next year. I absolutely hate having a top 4 pick. A late pick I can deal with. Even the last pick gives you back to back picks in the first 13 (assuming a 12 team draft) The first pick though? Ugh! Oh well.
Like you though, I had the most points scored against me. Can't even compete like that.

Yea for me the sweet spot is like 4-6. You get a top guy in 1st and basically only wait around 10 picks between picking again. Making picks back to back is nice but I prefer a space between them. That way you can see if a position is on a run and see if you should take a top tier guy at that position before they are gone. Most QB and TE but still. I mean you should wait till later for them unless it is one of the top 2-3. But even in runs among RB or WR you know if you should scoop one up before it is too late. Unlike back to back picks and then waiting a min of 18 picks before you can pick again.

It's not unheard of for a QB to pop off for 50 points or more! The scoring is totally skewed to high scoring games! But yeah, with normal scoring settings, QB's don't usually go until late second into the third.

This year someone took Jackson in 1st. Then others went in late 3rd and in 4th. I waited to first pick in 7th and got Watson.
