It looks like Carolina is planning on playing Run CMC down the stretch if he is healthy. I would love that. I can win my last game of the year and be a favorite in the Consolation Playoffs. Not the same as being league champ but finishing 5th is better than 8th.
I went up against a guy who had Derrick Henry this past week. I had Noah Fant who caught the ONLY catch in Denver's game and had a D that got -3 points. Yet I still won by almost 20 points. Had 2nd best score this week and that was without Run CMC. Man what this season COULD have been if he had remained healthy all year.

I'm assured of the first pick in next years draft. This was such a horse$##! year. Between fantasy and Da Bears "being who we thought they were", what an ugly year. At least the Bulls cleaned house and I can be optimistic about the NBA coming up. And Notre Dame is rolling.

Clinched a playoff spot at 7-5 and not in the running for a bye, so I am prepping for week 14 this week.

Well I clinched a spot in the consolation playoff bracket. Looks like I will end the regular season in 8th out of 10. But I will be hard to beat come playoffs due to Run CMC coming back. So I might finish 5th.

I finally took a W in the pick 'em pool so I'm happy about that. Otherwise, next year has to be better.

I'm glad to still be in a tie for the top spot in the pick'em pool for the year still. 4 weeks to go! In fantasy I won the weekly high this week despite not even needing the win to be in the playoffs. Good momentum though. I'm the #4 seed and looks like I'll be favored by more than 10 points in round one. Trying to claim my 4th super bowl title in the 23 year history of my league. I had the best team last year and jobbed out in the Super Bowl, which I completely blame on me being on a cruise during week 16 and not being able to watch any games. Thats not an excuse this year, because where the hell am I going this year? |
