Missing Link def. Boris Zhukov
After some back and forth action, the Link stopped Costello in his tracks with a move off the ropes. Zhukov landed the headbutt for the pin. An all-out hardcore match then ensued. The Link battered Boris with chairs and headbutts for the win.
D'Lo Brown & One Man Gang def. J.D. Michaels & Frank Gotch
One Man Gang def. D'Lo Brown
This one saw one wrestler from each of the four major companies. Solid action all around that ended when D'Lo forced Michaels to give it up. The Gang and D'Lo turned in a very good singles contest. The Gang landed the 747 Splash to end this one.
George Steele & Fritz Von Goering def. Justin Credible & Adam Pearce
Fritz Von Goering def. George Steele
Things looked good for ECW tag team champion Pearce and Credible. The match degenerated into a brawl, then Von Goering used his backbreaker. The Animal's knee and headbutt finished off Pearce. Steele and Von Goering went back and forth until Fritz took over and a pair of backbreakers ended it.
Dan Severn & Bob Orton Jr. def. Ox Baker & Eddie Kingston
Bob Orton Jr. def. Dan Severn
WWC Universal champion Ox Baker's run on wins came to an end. Baker and Severn were stiff with the shots and fighting on the floor. Orton Jr. came in with Kingston down and superplexed him for the win. Ox Baker made Kingston pay for losing the match and beat on him all the way to the back. Severn and Orton went at it until Orton capitalized quickly to hit the superplex for the win.
Tom Prichard & John Pesek def. Larry Zbyszko & Geeto Mongol
John Pesek def. Tom Prichard
Heenan Family member Larry Zbyszko looked good, and Geeto played his part by dishing out some punishment before tagging out again. Pesek also was on top of his game and went to work on Zbyszko with finisher after finisher until getting the submission. Pesek then completely killed Prichard (5 coins).
Rikidozan & Bob Orton Sr. def. Red Bastien & French Angel
Bob Orton Sr. def. Rikidozan
Another really good tag match. Bastien showcased all his talents but went down to the mighty chops of Rikidozan. Then Orton Sr. was a machine and relentless with his offense. Rikidozan stayed alive but Orton pulled off the upset win with the piledriver.
Dennis Condrey & Curt Hennig def. Destroyer & Buff Bagwell
Curt Hennig def. Dennis Condrey
The U.S. champ Destroyer joined up with World TV champion Buff Bagwell against the former U.S. title holder Curt Hennig and one-half of the Midnight Express Dennis Condrey. Hennig did almost all of the work against their opponents. After keeping the Destroyer down he took out Bagwell with a sleeper. Hennig continued his attack on Condrey and won with a dropkick.
Bob Roop & Trent Acid def. Jimmy Snuka & Drake Younger
Bob Roop def. Trent Acid
Roop and Acid worked great together and were able to concentrate on Younger. They dished it out and Younger took it all before falling to a Blue Thunder Bomb from Acid. Roop dominated Acid and won with a gut wrench backbreaker.
Konnan & Mike Quackenbush def. Nigel McGuinness & Gorgeous George
Mike Quackenbush def. Konnan
Real nice action all around here. Quackenbush's Quackendriver was all it took to put Gorgeous George down for three. Quack and Konnan went at it and a palm strike gave Quackenbush the big win to stay alive.
Masked Superstar II & Brutus Beefcake def. Hillbilly Jim & Koko B. Ware
Masked Superstar II def. Brutus Beefcake
The big masked man and Hillbilly Jim went right at each other as they are familiar from matches in ICW. Masked Superstar II took care of Koko B. Ware with a backbreaker. Beefcake gave the big man a real good fight but couldn't continue after the backbreaker.
Scotty Vortekz & Necro Butcher def. Paul London & Ricky Landell
Scotty Vortekz def. Necro Butcher
The team of Landell and London looked good on paper. In this one Landell never made a tag and was totally beaten down by Necro Butcher. Vortekz and Necro turned in a stellar contest and it was Vortekz pulling out the win with a cyclone kick.
Chris Candido & Nick Bockwinkel def. Al Snow & Brian Kendrick
Nick Bockwinkel def. Chris Candido
Bockwinkel was in the match a long time and did not fair very well. Candido picked things up and downed Kendrick with the Blond Bomb. Candido then hung right with Bockwinkel but went down to the sleeper.
Greg Valentine & Antonio Inoki def. Mountie & Mil Mascaras
Greg Valentien def. Antonio Inoki
World champion Mil Mascaras didn't like his partner, but the Mountie was there to watch his back during the match. Mascaras was in all sorts of trouble but held on. Inoki nailed the Mountie with an enzuigiri for the pin. From there the Hammer and Inoki tore the place down with an awesome match. It was Lou Albano on the outside that helped Valentine be able to get the figure four applied to pull off the win.
Road Dogg & Jimmy Jacobs def. Johnny Valentine & Ilio DiPaolo
Jimmy Jacobs def. Road Dogg
Jacobs and one-half of the I-C tag champs worked well as a team. It took a long time to win the tag portion of the bout. Jacobs was covered in blood and made DiPaolo look the same after using the spike for the pin. Jacobs and the Road Dogg then went at it and Jacobs emerged the winner after the End Time.
Stan Lane & Brad Armstrong def. Jimmy Valiant & Hawk
Stan Lane def. Brad Armstrong
Lane and Armstrong made a pretty nice looking team. Hawk dominated when he was in the ring. Lane nailed Valiant with the Superkick. Lane used the Midnight Lariat and then the Superkick to beat Armstrong.
Bryan Danielson & Billy Red Lyons def. Sheik & Andre the Giant

This may have been the best match of the tournament so far. The Sheik and Andre grudgingly got along enough to compete, while Lyons and Danielson were non-stop motion and controlled most of the bout. The Giant spent time down but not out, as did the Sheik. Lyons finally beat the Sheik with the Figure Four. The Sheik and Andre fought each other to the back. Then Lyons and Danielson went all out to stay alive. Danielson showed incredible toughness but went down to the sleeper (Danielson 6 coins).
