A really good match here as the teams went back and forth. Bob Armstrong took the beating early. Brad carried the team for awhile. Iron Mike took the win with a top rope knee drop on Brad Armstrong.

DIBIASES def. THE AXE ATTACK
A great win for Ted and Mike DiBiase over the U.S. tag team champions. The Axe did little to nothing, then Curt Hennig took the bulk of the punishment. The Million $ Man wouldn't let him out of the sleeper until it was all over.

Day 6
Semifinals
VALENTINES def. THE AXE ATTACK by C.O.
A great match that went quite a long time. Greg and Johnny really dominated the U.S. tag team champions. The first time the match went outside. Johnny piledrove Larry Hennig on the concrete floor and he was counted out of the ring.
SHEIK & SABU def. VACHONS
Mad Dog and the Butcher really controlled the match but came up short. The Sheik stabbed Butcher with a foreign object and scored the pinfall.
ORTONS def. VALIANTS
Jimmy and Johnny stayed alive but that was about it. The Ortons were all over the Valiants. Orton Sr. forced Johnny to submit with a stepover toe hold.
YOUNG BUCKS def. ARMSTRONGS
Bob and Brad dominated but the Bucks found an opening and capitalized. A catapult double dropkick then the More bang for your Buck put Bob Armstrong down for good.
LOVE BROTHERS def. BRISCOES
A lot of high-flying action. The Love Brothers made the save after the Doomsday Device. Mark Briscoe took several finishers before going down for the count.
DIBIASES def. HILLBILLIES
A really good match as Jim and Luke were down most of the match and kept coming back. Jim missed a corner charge and Ted DiBiase scored the pin (Jim and Luke 3 coins each).
Finals
VALENTINES def. SHEIK & SABU
A wild final match of the tournament. Most of it spent on the outside. All four went toe to toe. Johnny Valentine hit Sabu a couple times with the atomic skullcrusher and then the sleeper ended the match.
Last year Greg Valentine won the Family Feud. This year the father-son team win the tournament.

STREET FIGHT MATCH[/U] Pepper Gomez & Ilio DiPaolo vs. Konnan & Buddy Rose
The Foreign Legion have been raising havoc in Puerto Rico and Mexico. Now they are looking to make a mark in ICW. Gomez and DiPaolo are just two of the many names that have gotten in Konnan's way as they look for a measure of revenge in this one.
SINGAPORE CANE MATCH[/u] Sandman vs. One Man Gang
Kevin Sullivan started his Army of Darkness with the One Man Gang. The Sandman was the first victim and he aims to start taking them out one at a time, starting with the Gang.
WEAPON'S MATCH[/U] Bob Orton Jr. vs. The Mountie
The Mountie put the shock stick on Orton Jr. in the NAWA. Orton looks to take out the Canadian so his dad won't have to.
TORNADO STREET FIGHT MATCH[/u] The Axe Attack vs. Masked Superstar I & II
These teams have been going at it for a long time in the USWA. The U.S. tag belts are gone, replaced by the North American titles. Both these teams want to get rid of the other before going after the gold.
ELIMINATION MATCH[/u] Bill Dundee, Jerry Lynn, Killer Bees vs. Hot Stuff Incorporated.
Eddie Gilbert's new team is only two weeks old, but has a lot of enemies. Dundee has rounded up everybody with a beef to battle it out with Gilbert, Rick Rude, Val Venis and Buff Bagwell.

Thesz said he wanted to teach the Turk a wrestling lesson for his being choked out on NAWA Outburst. The Turk just wants to choke Thesz out again.

Two of the top teams in the world today will have to stay in the ring to see who is the best.
TABLE MATCH[/u] Bruiser Brody vs. Killer Kowalski
Brody hit ICW with authority by taking the Intercontinental title from Kowalski. The title won't be on the line, but hostilities developed real fast between these two and Kowalski is looking to put Brody out of action.
LAST MAN STANDING MATCH[/u] Steve Williams vs. Terry Gordy
The former tag team have pounded on each other non-stop since the split. Two of the toughest out there will go at it for a long time to see who can't go anymore.
HELL IN A CELL[/u] Bobo Brazil vs. The Sheik
These two have a long and storied history of trying to kill each other. One of them just may succeed in this match.

PAIN & PUNISHMENT East Rutherford, NJ May 17, 2119
STREET FIGHT MATCH[/U] PEPPER GOMEZ & ILIO DIPAOLO def. KONNAN & BUDDY ROSE
This long-standing feud went all over Mexico and Puerto Rico. Ilio laid Konnan out with a massive chair shot. Later it was Konnna choking out Gomez with a rope out on the floor. The end came with a wrestling move off the ropes with Gomez pinning Konnan.
SINGAPORE CANE MATCH[/u] SANDMAN def. ONE MAN GANG
Kevin Sullivan's charge the One Man Gang never got hold of the Sandman to use his size and power. The Sandman blasted the Gang with the cane coming off the top rope. A DDT put him down for the three. Sandman got a shot in on Sullivan with the cane after the match.
WEAPON'S MATCH[/U] THE MOUNTIE def. BOB ORTON JR.
This one didn't take long. They each took turns with one weapon or another, but the Mountie knocked Orton out cold with a sledgehammer, then used the Shock Stick before taking the pin.
TORNADO STREET FIGHT MATCH[/u] THE AXE ATTACK def. MASKED SUPERSTAR I & II
An all-out brawl the entire match with everyone in and out of the ring at the same time. Both teams dished out plenty of damage, but Larry landed the Axe on Masked Superstar for the three count.
ELIMINATION MATCH[/u] BILL DUNDEE, JERRY LYNN, KILLER BEES def. HOT STUFF INCORPORATED
A fast start to the match as Buff Bagwell quickly had Jerry Lynn in trouble. The Buff Blockbuster took Lynn out early in the match.
The second fall went for a very long time with Gilbert's team controlling the action. Brunzell took a lot of damage but then Dundee and Blair carried the load. Brunzell nearly put Bagwell away but the save was made. The Bees double teamed Bagwell to even the match at three on three.
Right after that Dundee hit the superstar bomb and pinned Gilbert before anyone could get in the ring.
More back and forth action followed. Venis stopped the count on Rude but the Bees double teamed the Ravishing One for the pinfall.
April Hunter at ringside was able to help Venis for a short time, but Dundee was on a roll and won with the Indian Deathlock.
BEST 2/3 FALLS[/u] LOU THESZ def. THE TERRIBLE TURK, 2-0
Prior to the match, Thesz was informed this was also a no-disqualification contest, to which he was not happy about. Thesz controlled the action in the first fall. The Turk kicked out of the Greco-Roman backdrop but not the Thesz press. An awesome second fall as the Turk came back to seriously damage the ribs of Thesz. The two went back and forth. Thesz survived the Stranglehold and came out on top with the Thesz press (4 coins each).
LUMBERJACK MATCH[/u] NEW AGE OUTLAWS def. MIDNIGHT EXPRESS
A great match up with plenty of near falls. The Midnight Express destroyed Billy Gunn at the start. After the Rocket Launcher Road Dogg came in the ring. Stan Lane superkicked Gunn twice and Road Dogg came in again. Lane was tossed outside and Don Muraco delivered the Hawaiian Hammer on the floor, then rolled him back in for Road Dogg to make the cover.
TABLE MATCH[/u] KILLER KOWALSKI def. BRUISER BRODY
What carnage this match wrought. Toe to toe these two tried to smash each other into the tables. Brody finally got the upperhand and put a hurting on the I-C champ. Things were out of control and Kowalski regained the advantage. Kowalski came off the top rope, driving the knee into Brody and crushing him thru the tables for the pinfall.
LAST MAN STANDING MATCH[/u] STEVE WILLIAMS def. TERRY GORDY
The former tag team partners turned it up a notch in this all-out battle. The two might have spent more time on the floor trying to hurt each other than in the ring. A dead even match as neither wanted to see the other standing at the end, but Dr. Death emerged victorious this time with one final Oklahoma Stampede.
HELL IN A CELL[/u] THE SHEIK def. BOBO BRAZIL
These two were willing to pay a high price to get their hands on each other. That price was the diabolical Hell in a Cell steel cage. Non-stop they went smashing each other into the cage. The Sheik threw the fire again and Bobo Brazil was done.

What an awesome show, Ty, and in my home state too. Kowalski vs. Brody, Doc vs. Gordy, and Sheik vs. Bobo sounded great. Nice also to see Lou Thesz get some revenge on The Terrible Turk.
