If you run/ran an Impossible Tournament who was your first winner or who has been your most prolific winner?

Monolith has won my Impossible Tournament twice in the four years I have held it (2127 - 2130). He won the first and second year, but has not placed in the finals since.
In my fed, it was originally called the Omega Memorial Classic Tournament, then in 2128, the name changed to The Tournament. And finally, in 2129, the name settled on Impossible Tournament due to Monolith saying the year prior that it would be impossible for anyone to defeat him in the tournament. In both 2127 and 2128, Monolith went 3-0 in the finals.
My other IT winners were Harbinger (2-1 in the finals) in 2129 and Bex (3-0 in the finals) in 2130

Great thread!
Past winners: 2087 - Wolf 2088 - Massif 2089 - Star Warrior 2120 - Havoc 2121 - MONOLITH 2122 - Disaster 2123 - MONOLITH 2124 - Swarm 2125 - Endgame 2126 - Aethran Overmaster 2127 - Havoc 2128 - Tauran 2129 - Thantos 2130 - Prime Colonizer 2131 - MONOLITH 2132 - Wolf 2133 - Shayne 2134 - Godsend 2135 - Chaos Supreme
MONOLITH is the only guy to win it 3 times.
Havoc and Wolf have won it twice each.
The tournament has been dominated by Gladiators and Animen who together have won 11/19 Impossible Tournaments.

Impossible Tournament ? Never held one . How do they work ? I'ts a giant round robin tournament. Usually involving 16 wrestlers. There are 4 brackets of 4 wrestlers each. Each bracket holds it's own round-robin tournament and then the winners hold a final round-robin. A lot of people play where the top title is on the line throughout the tournament. so if the champ loses a match, the winner is the new champion. At least until he loses later in the tournament.

I believe AOM and Perfect Specimen have won it twice each. No one else has won it more than once but some day I may go old school and run it each year from 87 on.

I was thinking of doing the exact same - Just running a standalone I.T. for each year that is currently available online... Might start once I finish posting my Best of COTG Tournament of Champions... Fun times!

I’ve never ran one, but the thread has inspired me to run 1 with the 16 greatest wrestlers in the history of my fed. A big thing is my fed is who is the GOAT? Guys are constantly trying to up their resume and enter the discussion or end the discussion. This will Settle this GOAT thing once and for all.

I have yet to run it, but I am 99% positive that I will be debuting it in 2128 (my current) as my year end event.
Really looking forward to it!
(I am going to add it to my ToC lineup as well.)

I've never run one (seems complicated lol) But I suppose I've never been a round robin kind of guy I'll stick with best of seven series like the NHL does to see who wins the Stanley Cup
