This was such a great talk among friends. I know it happens in other sports, but doesn't wrestling just lend itself to sitting around and talking about wrestling? BUT what is really great about this episode is talking about the Waterloo Hall. There are a lot of things I'm irritated about what will be known as the lost summer of 2020, but having the Hall of Fame weekend cancelled makes it just the worst. Obviously I understand, but doesn't change the fact this is one of the things I most look forward to more than anything all year. Hopefully, we'll get back to normal next year.. and for all of you who have never been, believe the gang when they say how up close and personal you get to these veterans. Everyone should consider going next year!
Now for my own comment on one of the members in the set and regular at the Hall Weekend: The Baron is one of my all time favorite wrestlers and one of my first memories of pro-wrestling (sitting on my grandfather's lap watching as this terrifying bald crazy man squished some other guy's head!) So, getting to meet this sweet old guy was a dream come true. Also to get the claw applied to my own now bald head was absolutely fantastic. (I have photo evidence you can survive, though he will make it look real vicious for a photo.) To now have an official card of him is great.
Thanks guys for another great episode. Keep them coming.

Thanks for the kind words, iowaoaks! I missed seeing you this summer at the HOF in Waterloo. I look forward to getting Baron's autograph on his card next summer!

Listened to the first and half of the second episode (and the promo) while on my run this morning. Great stuff! Cannot wait to listen to the rest and am very much looking forward to hearing more. I LOVE that you reached out to Mark Ashby. His passion and creativity is sorely missed so I’m glad he’s given his blessing. Now you just got to get him on the show! Great work to all.

Good job with episode two! I especially enjoyed hearing the stories from various Hall of Fame events. I live just 80 miles south of Waterloo, so when the world returns to a more normal state, I'll have to look into attending the next one.

I listened to the new episode tonight while getting some work done. I especially enjoyed the review of each card in the Tragos-Thesz set. And yes, me, cman, and pikemojo did eat Juicy Lucys in Minneapolis last year, one of the best burgers I have ever eaten.

Sounds like we need a new board area where fans have easy access to all the great podcasts in the community. Great work, everybody!
