It's kinda odd, while I was still on active duty I never considered myself a "Veteran". I always felt a "Veteran" was someone who had retired or separated, but that is not the case. However, now that I am retired I gladly accept the title of "Veteran". I am honored to have served with my Brothers and Sisters in Arms.
