Swarm's PWI Monday Night Wars Fed Year End Awards.

WRESTLER OF THE YEAR -
Brock Lesnar - Won the WWF title then took it to the NWA where he still holds and defends it. Beat Sting for the NWA title. Was team captain at Survivor Series in a losing effort.
Sting - Was NWA Champion all year with an impressive tour of Japan. Won the IWGP Title from Hiroshi Tanahashi. Lost the title to Brock Lesnar in October. Made his WWF debut in November at Survivor Series where he was eliminated by Kawada.
Great Muta - Defeated Dusty Rhodes for the NWA US Title and has had a stranglehold on it all year. Won successful feuds versus both Dusty Rhodes and Nikita Koloff. Was a survivor on team Dibiase at Survivor Series.
Bruno Sammartino - Started slow losing a feud versus Steve Austin then went on a tear. Won a 20 man battle royal to earn a WWF Title shot then won the belt beating Andre the Giant. Defended the title versus Steve Austin in October. Captained a winning team at Survivor Series.
Andre the Giant - Lost only once all year (to Bruno Sammartino). Won a feud versus Hulk Hogan. Became WWF Champion winning the vacant title in an 8 man tournament when Brock left for the NWA.
TAG TEAM OF THE YEAR -
Brothers of Destruction - Reigning, defending WWF Tag Team Champions. Captained and won at Survivor Series. Undefeated.
Stan Hansen & Bruiser Brody - hijacked Wrestle Mania as hired guns of Ted Dibiase. Debuted in the NWA and soon won the tag team titles from the Road Warriors. Still champs today after beating Vader and Sid in a steel cage in October.
Steiner Brothers - Won the NWA US tag titles in an 8 team tournament. Defended against Pentagon Jr. and Fenix then Vampiro/Hugh Morris. Undefeated in tag matches. Only loss came at the Survivor Series where they were eliminated by the Road Warriors.
Road Warriors - Original NWA Tag Champs. Lost the belts to Hansen & Brody. Disappeared from the NWA. Popped up in the indies beating the BDK in CHIKARA and the Briscoe Brothers in ROH. Toured Japan and went unbeaten there too. Shocked the world showing up in the WWF where they have signed a long term deal with Vince McMahon. Survived at Survivor Series in their WWF debut.
FED OF THE YEAR -
NWA - Ted Dibiase left the WWF after a dispute over his spot in the Royal Rumble after losing and failing to win the WWF title. He bought the NWA and immediately declared war on the WWF. Dibiase signed WWF Champion Brock Lesnar, who showed up on NITRO the night after Wrestlemania. Dibiase also signed Curt Hennig and Bret Hart away from the WWF. The NWA lost 1-3 at Survivor Series, but owner Ted Dibiase was successful in his match captaining his team to victory.
WWF - Had an awesome Wrestle Mania then saw their champ leave for the NWA w the title. Crowned a new champion on RAW in an 8 man tournament (Andre). Sent Hulk Hogan to win back the WWF title at Parade of Champions where he lost. Regained ground beating the NWA 3-1 at Survivor Series.
ROOKIE OF THE YEAR -
Many new young faces made their debut in 2020. Vote for the best.
Kerry Von Erich - Beat Gino Hernandez in the finals to win the WCCW title. Defended versus Ric Flair in Texas and won. Wrestled on TBS versus Maddog Buzz Sawyer and won his NWA debut.
Jackknife/Blade Machismo - Not much yet in terms of star power wins but their impact in the WWF has been huge early. Each won squash matches in singles before uniting. Beat up Roddy Piper and destroyed Piper's Pit. Broke Bob Orton's arm. Formed the nWo and declared war on the WWF. Added John Cena as the third man at Survivor Series. Attacked and injured the Ultimate Warrior.
AJ Styles - Has only wrestled on WWF Superstars so far, but he looks phenomenal. Won a feud versus Marty Jannetty. Could be in the title mix in 2021.
RUSH - Lost in the finals to Juventud Guerrera (his only loss). Won the NWA Cruiserweight title from Juvi and has defended it successfully since. Was a survivor on Team Dibiase at Survivor Series.
BRISCO BROTHERS - Jack and Jerry showed up in the NWA where they were confronted by the Briscoe Brothers. Jack and Jerry threw down the challenge for a best of 7 series loser leaves town feud. They currently lead that series 3-1.
