LEGENDARY CHRONICLES WRESTLING
No Turning Back Tour (card #141) 03.Jul.26 Xcel Energy Center, St. Paul, MN
JACKIE FARGO def. Yusuf Ismail (w/ Henry Irslinger) via pinfall at 8:52. - Fargo pinned Ismail following an ATOMIC DROP. -- Tokens: Fargo 4 - Ismail 1 - Irslinger's presence caused enough distractions for Ismail to repeatedly break the rules. When the referee turned to reprimand to reprimand Irslinger for his behavior, Fargo seized the moment and struck Ismail with a turnbuckle wrench.
FRANK DALTON & SCOTT CASEY def. Bobby Eaton & Dennis Condrey (w/ Randy Rose) via pinfall at 5:39. - Casey pinned Eaton following a reverse neckbreaker. -- Tokens: Dalton 4 - Eaton 1 - After being trapped in the wrong corner, Dalton managed to fight his way out of trouble and make a hot tag. With a series of rapid fire strikes, Casey stunned Condrey and then took out Rose when he tried to disrupt the match. Riding the momentum, he dropped Eaton for a thrilling comeback victory.
ED LEWIS & JOHN PESEK (w/ Henry Irslinger) def. Don Curtis & The Destroyer via pinfall at 8:10. - Lewis pinned Destroyer with a STRANGLER'S HEADLOCK. -- Tokens: Curtis 5, Destroyer 5 - Irsliner's crew kicked things off by jumping their opponents before the opening bell. Curtis and Destroyer offered plenty of resistance, but their lack of coordination as a team cost them dearly. It was a disappointing debut for Curtis, who was hoping to establish himself against a pair of very dangerous individuals.
TINA MORETTI def. Joyce Grable via pinfall at 6:04. - Moretti pinned Grable with a counter sunset flip off the ropes while hooking the tights. -- Tokens: Moretti 2 - Grable came into this match hoping to get revenge against Moretti for eliminating her from the Star Spangled Rumble earlier this month. Moretti intimidated the referee into making a controversial call that allowed her to steal an important win.
LCW Universal Cruiserweight Championship Match JIM LONDOS def. Danny Hodge via submission at 26:39. - Londos finished Hodge with a short-arm scissors. -- Tokens: Londos 4 - Hodge 9 - Each man pushed the other to the limit in this marathon encounter. Hodge started to lose his footing as Londos transitioned from one punishing hold to the next with flawless efficiency. Londos delivered a crotch lift and slam that left Hodge in a vulnerable position for a dramatic finish. JIM LONDOS won the LCW Universal Cruiserweight Championship.
WILLIAM MULDOON def. George Hackenschmidt via count-out at 13:28. - Hackenschmidt was counted out after Muldoon crushed him with a side suplex onto the apron. -- Tokens: Hackenschmidt 5 - While Hackenschmidt struggled to catch his breath, Henry Irslinger appeared to offer Muldoon a place with his elite crew. Muldoon refused, prompting Irslinger to simply shake his head in apparent resignation. With a cocky grin, Irslinger stated that Muldoon had made a poor choice. Ed Lewis and John Pesek arrived, but Irslinger instructed them to stand down for the present time.
OX BAKER, MASKED SUPERSTAR & STAN HANSEN (w/ Paul Ellering) def. Baron von Raschke, Killer Kowalski & Larry Zbyszko via pinfall at 6:04. - Superstar pinned Kowalski following a SWINGING NECKBREAKER. -- Tokens: Kowalski 5 - Quick thinking by Ellering helped his Legion of Doom avoid a prematch sneak attack by their opponents. Cornering Kowalski, the trio executed a merciless assault to secure their triumph. Disgusted by what he perceived as failure, Baron convinced Zbyszko to abandon Kowalski to his fate.
NICK BOCKWINKEL (w/ Francine) def. Bruiser Brody via submission at 4:51. - Bockwinkel finished Brody with a BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER. -- Tokens: Brody 2 - Brody tried to take Bockwinkel's head off with a running big boot and missed the mark, getting tangled in the ropes in the process. Capitalizing on the situation, Bockwinkel clipped the knee of the Star Spangled Rumble winner on his way to reclaiming a piece of his former glory. - After showering her client with praise, Francine was confronted by Nora Greenwald. The newcomer scolded Francine's shallow personality and condemned her for being a poor role model. Francine offered to meet Greenwald in the ring to discuss their different views.

What a match between Londos and Hodge. Couldnβt expect anything less from those two. Congrats to the new champ! What an amazing run by Hodge, tho.
Fargo, wily as ever, eking out that win in the opening contest popped me. Love stuff like that.
Dalton & Casey get comeuppance in the Midnights but you canβt be too disappointed as Eaton & Condrey can easily keep their heat.
Lewis & Pesek are always a tough duo.
And Bockwinkel gets the win over Brody after a costly miscue. Too bad. Thought Brody would have a shot.
Great stuff! Whatβs next?

Hodge (who has held the cruiserweight belt for a combined total of 278 days) displayed unbelievable fortitude, but Londos was determined to prove that it was his time to shine. Fargo is always a lot of fun and I'm thinking he might forge a temporary alliance with Hackenschmidt and Muldoon to battle Irsliner's crew... An unusual blending of philosophies, to be sure. Plenty planned for the immediate future... Heroes Cup winners, Mad Dog Vachon & Ray Stevens will challenge Bob Orton Jr & Ted DiBiase for the tag straps... Abdullah the Butcher gets a title rematch against the Great One inside a steel cage... And we'll see if Macho Man can continue his undefeated streak that has reached almost a full year in game time. Always appreciate the awesome feedback, my friend... Many thanks!

I picked Brody as he is my National Champ in my on again/off again SCP Legends fed...Bockwinkle is a tough cookie! Greenwald showing up?!?! Nice touch sir! Despite the disappointing loss, Brody still has a shot at the LCW Universal Heavyweight title in the bank as a result of winning this year's Star Spangled Rumble... Bockwinkel will probably try to parlay this victory into an opportunity of his own. I've been wanting to introduce Greenwald for awhile now and having her pick a fight with Francine seemed a decent way to bring her into the mix. Always appreciate the continued interest and kind words, my friend... Many thanks!

I'll always enjoy Molly Holly regardless of the name. Midnight definitely needs to regroup. Enjoying all the vintage cards in action. Losing to Dalton & Casey does not help the standing of the Midnighters... They will need to rebound quickly because there are lots of other teams that will soon be looking for places of prominence on the roster. In the next game year, I might try something a little different with the vintage guys by giving them a dedicated brand... We'll see how that pans out. Thanks for always taking the time to check out the action, my friend... A pleasure seeing you in the stands!
