LEGENDARY CHRONICLES WRESTLING
POWERTRIP 1.7 (card #142) 03.Jul.29 LCW TrueVision Network
DYNAMITE KID def. Johnny Saint via pinfall at 10:44. - Dynamite pinned Saint following a DIVING HEAD BUTT. -- Tokens: Dynamite 1 - Saint 3
* Pre-match interview w/ Gordon Solie: Bob Roop * "He's establishing control, no doubt about that." Roop immediately expressed anger towards Jerry Brisco, blaming him for J.J. Dillon being forced to leave the company. Brisco arrived to offer his response and a wild brawl erupted. Gaining the upper hand, Brisco tossed Roop into the ring and the referee started the match.
BOB ROOP def. Jerry Brisco via pinfall at 8:09. - Roop pinned Brisco following a suplex. -- Tokens: Roop 3 - Brisco 1 - Brisco was on fire until a surprise appearance by Gorilla Monsoon caused him to stumble. After formally introducing his new ally, Roop warned the Brisco brothers that even though the Cavaliers were no longer together, payback was coming.
Malia Hosaka & Susan Green vs. Judy Martin & Leilani Kai resulted in a draw at 20:00. - This match ended when the time limit expired. -- Tokens: Hosaka 1, Green 3 - Martin 3, Kai 5 - Despite being more experienced as a team, Martin and Kai had difficulty working as a cohesive unit.
* Post-match interview w/ Gordon Solie: Leilani Kai * "Get your filthy hands off of me!" Instead of addressing the obvious problems with her tag partner, Kai focused on her upcoming shot at the LCW Universal Ladies Championship. She was interrupted by Judy Martin, who claimed that Kai had cheated in order to win the recent Star Spangled Rumble. Indicating that she did not want to argue, Kai turned to leave and Martin nailed her with a cheap shot. Laying into Kai with a series of kicks, Martin continued the assault until security pulled her away.
No Holds Barred Match DON MURACO def. Jimmy Snuka via pinfall at 3:21. - Muraco pinned Snuka with an Asiatic Spike. -- Tokens: Snuka 3 - This highly anticipated grudge match between former tag partners wound up being little more than a one-sided beatdown. Muraco attacked Snuka prior to the opening bell, bashing him repeatedly with a steel chair in order to grab the win.

Nice win by Roop there. Glamour Girls need to straighten things out. Shame Muraco and Snuka was a beatdown. Yeah, I had much higher hopes for Muraco vs. Snuka... The dice just had other plans this time around... Fortunately, this feud still has some juice and we haven't seen the last of these two squaring off. Leilani and Judy are a great team, but jealousy has reared its ugly head... How will this affect Kai as she prepares for her upcoming title shot? And how will Martin follow up that heinous attack on her former partner? Very pleased you enjoyed this latest episode, my friend... Many thanks for staying tuned!

Absolutely stoked to see Don Muraco get the better of Jimmy Snuka. I'm hoping for bigger things from Muraco in LCW. I really like the tension between Jerry Brisco-Bob Roop as well as Leilani Kai-Judy Martin. Both of those could be great feuds.
Nick Bockwinkel over Bruiser Brody via submission was huge, and a shocker. I think I actually had that Kowalski-Von Raschke-Zbyszko team on one of my recent shows. Pretty funny. Last but not least, congrats to Jim Londos on his LCW Cruiserweight title win over Danny Hodge and what an epic match that was.

Last but not least, congrats to Jim Londos on his LCW Cruiserweight title win over Danny Hodge and what an epic match that was. Breaking up Muraco & Snuka was not an easy decision since I was having so much fun booking them as my own version of the Islanders... But, I think it was the natural progression of their story... Jerry B vs. Roop should make a great rivalry... And I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of impact Monsoon makes in that angle... No doubt, Jerry's older brother, Jack, will be getting involved in this one as well. The Glamour Girls split is the traditional tale of jealousy rearing its ugly head... Kai earned a title shot by winning the women's Star Spangled Rumble and beating her own tag team partner in the final stage was obviously not going to sit well with Martin... Should be interesting to play out since Kai will receive that shot at WrestleRave which will take place in early September of my fed's calendar. As you've stated, Bock beating Brody was certainly not what I anticipated... Especially with Brody being the winner of the men's Star Spangled Rumble... With Francine whispering in his ear, I'm sure that Bock will find a way to manipulate this scenario to his benefit. Glad that you enjoyed that title match between Hodge and Londos... It was definitely memorable and for that reason, I'm pretty sure an immediate rematch is called for... The Kowalski / Baron / Zbyszko was also fun while it lasted... However, I'm really excited to see what happens now that Baron has apparently turned his back on Kowalski while Zbyszko appears to be remaining loyal to Baron. Your feedback is always a great pleasure to read, my friend... Many thanks for staying tuned!

LEGENDARY CHRONICLES WRESTLING
Acceleration Tour (card #143) 03.Aug.01 Moda Center, Portland, OR
EVAN LEWIS def. George Steele via submission at 2:50. - Lewis finished Steele with a STRANGLEHOLD. -- Tokens: George 1 - Steele required medical attention as a result of Lewis applying too much pressure against his windpipe. There was some debate regarding whether or not this was intentional. <Steele injured for 1 card.>
ADRIAN ADONIS def. Jim Brunzell via pinfall at 7:36. - Adonis pinned Brunzell following a flying head scissors. -- Tokens: Adonis 1 - Brunzell 1 - Brunzell was returning from a recent injury and delivered a high flying performance that captured the support of the fans. The acrobatics did not impress Adonis, who managed to steal a tainted win by bracing his feet against the turnbuckles for extra leverage.
THE CRUSHER def. Tully Blanchard via submission at 4:21. - Crusher finished Blanchard <snake eyes> with a bear hug. -- Tokens: n/a - An attempted post-match sneak attack by Adrian Adonis was thwarted by Jim Brunzell. A wild brawl erupted, adding immediate heat to the fresh rivalry between these two teams.
LOU THESZ def. Scott Irwin via pinfall at 1:10. - Thesz pinned Irwin following a GRECO-ROMAN BACKDROP. -- Tokens: n/a - Irwin was more interested in calling out Bull Curry than concentrating on the task at hand, allowing Thesz to secure a virtually unopposed victory.
LCW Universal Tag Team Championship Match BOB ORTON JR & TED DIBIASE def. Mad Dog Vachon & Ray Stevens via DQ at 7:14. - Vachon was disqualified for hitting DiBiase with an atomic drop onto the ringside guardrail. -- Tokens: DiBiase 2 - This challengers opened strong, but grew impatient with the referee's overbearing nature in this heated exchange. It was a disappointing outcome for the Heroes Cup winners, who claimed that Orton and DiBiase were not worthy of holding the gold. Bob Orton Jr & Ted DiBiase retained the LCW Universal Tag Team Championship for a successful version three title defense.
FRANK GOTCH def. Bull Curry via submission at 9:34. - Gotch finished Curry <snake eyes> with a GOTCH TOEHOLD. -- Tokens: Gotch 4 - Curry 1 - Curry narrowly avoided disqualification as he repeatedly pushed the envelope in this hard hitting affair. Relying on his technical prowess, Gotch mounted a miraculous comeback. - Scott Irwin rushed the ring and blindsided Curry after the bell. As Curry tried to crawl away, Irwin made a gesture that indicated he was going to stomp his victim with his steel toed boot. Curry reached into his tights and produced a set of brass knuckles, prompting Irwin to make a swift exit.
FABULOUS MOOLAH def. Candi Divine via pinfall at 13:47. - Moolah pinned Divine with a JACKKNIFE CRADLE. -- Tokens: Moolah 4 - Divine 4 - Determined to get revenge for her elimination from the Star Spangled Rumble last month, Moolah used every trick in her well stocked repertoire to beat one of her most prominent rivals. Divine was visibly frustrated as she has yet to score a single victory against Moolah in head-to-head competition.
GREAT GAMA & RANDY SAVAGE def. Abdullah the Butcher (w/ Rock Riddle) & Ivan Koloff via pinfall at 6:09. - Savage pinned Koloff following a flying axe handle. -- Tokens: Koloff 1 - With their respective title shots coming up later in the month, Abdullah and Koloff were a little too impulsive with their combined endeavor. Gama pitched Abdullah over the top rope and sent him crashing into Riddle out on the floor, leaving Koloff to face an effective double team by the champions.
