Really solid teams for the most part. Will be interested to see who comes out on top. Mad Dog & the Crippler is the only repeat entrant from last year's competition... Which is kinda cool because they actually won the Cup... I've got my fingers crossed for the Kangaroos - really hope they deliver a strong showing... Would also like Midnight Express to fare well... The dice will tell the tale!

LEGENDARY CHRONICLES WRESTLING
Halo Of Fire 2.4 (card #202) 04.May.23 LCW TrueVision Network
ILIO DIPAOLO def. Ox Baker via pinfall at 7:46. - DiPaolo pinned Baker after an AIRPLANE SPIN. -- Tokens: DiPaolo 2 - Although Baker dished out some hard hitting offense, DiPaolo endured the punishment and mounted a dynamic comeback. Ted DiBiase made a surprise appearance after the bell to remind Baker of their unfinished business. Picking up Baker's bullwhip, DiBiase cracked it across his back several times.
Four Corners Elimination Match IDA MAE MARTINEZ def. Jazz, Judy Martin and Beverly Shade via elimination at 14:48. - Order of elimination: 1. Shade (1 token) eliminated by Martin via pinfall at 8:10. Martin pinned Shade after a POWERBOMB. 2. Martin (4 tokens) eliminated by Jazz via submission at 13:22. Jazz finished Martin with a Southern Comfort. 3. Jazz (2 tokens) eliminated by Martinez (1 token) via pinfall at 14:48. Martinez pinned Jazz after a DROPKICK. - As soon as Martin was taken out, Martinez saw her chance. Offering Jazz no time to assume a defensive position, she executed a high impact combination that would guarantee her some real consideration for a future title shot.
DICK HUTTON, AL COSTELLO & ROY HEFFERNAN (w/ Red Berry) def. Adrian Adonis, Butch Miller & Luke Williams via pinfall at 14:05. - Costello pinned Adonis after teaming with Heffernan to deliver a BOOMERANG. -- Tokens: Costello 1 - Adonis 4, Williams 2 - Even though the Kangaroos were actually responsible for injuring Adonis during a recent post-match incident, he seemed to place the blame on Hutton for not assisting him at the time. Using this knowledge, Hutton devised a devious strategy. He baited Adonis into a corner and then moved aside, so Costello and Heffernan could unleash a vicious double team assault.
* In the Hot Seat w/ Bill Apter: Johnny Valentine * The former LCW Universal Heavyweight Champion was in the process of discussing his return to the company following a hiatus of eighteen months when he was attacked by Gorilla Monsoon. A wild brawl erupted and security was needed to pull the two men apart. Monsoon stated that Valentine made a huge mistake by interrupting something that did not involve him, causing an injury to Bob Roop in the process. It was announced that a showdown between Valentine and Monsoon would take place on the final card of the Under The Wire tour.
LCW Universal Ladies Championship Match MILDRED BURKE def. Joyce Grable via submission at 8:24. - Burke finished Grable with an ALLIGATOR CLUTCH. -- Tokens: Grable 3 - Taking her time to avoid any mistakes, Burke used patient wear down tactics to remain one step ahead for this entire match. Grable acknowledged Burke's ability by graciously shaking her hand after the bell. Mildred Burke retained the LCW Universal Ladies Championship for a successful version two title defense.

Nice Kangaroos win and Burke being dominant. I'm stoked that the 'Roos are remaining hot... I feared they might fall prey to the same curse that Midnight Express experienced upon their arrival... Fortunately, that could not be further from what is happening. Burke's first title reign lasted over 100 days... Would love to see her beat that personal record. Always appreciate the input, my friend... Many thanks!

oh I think they do...and then do exactly the opposite most of the time. I guess we need those little buggers though... Otherwise, it wouldn't be much of a game... We'd just all be sitting around, coming up with predetermined results in our imagination... Oh, snap!
