Bruiser Brody & Jimmy Snuka are on fire in the Omega Bracket. Cool to see the Kangaroos on top of the Alpha Bracket but they have three teams close to them right now. I'm looking forward to seeing how all of this plays out my friend.

Bruiser Brody & Jimmy Snuka are on fire in the Omega Bracket. Cool to see the Kangaroos on top of the Alpha Bracket but they have three teams close to them right now. I'm looking forward to seeing how all of this plays out my friend. At this point in time, I would say that Brody & Snuka are considered the favorites to win the Cup... But, we certainly can't discount the other talented teams (looking at the 'Roos in particular) that also qualify for the tournament taking place at the Forever Freedom supercard... - Condrey pinned Volkoff after a FACE FIRST LEG SWEEP. -- Tokens: Condrey 2 - Volkoff 5
- Rose became a major factor when he pulled Baron off the apron and rammed him into the rails. Eaton and Condrey double teamed Volkoff while the referee was distracted by the commotion.
Heroes Cup Series - Alpha Bracket
FIT FINLAY & SCOTT IRWIN def. Thunderbolt Patterson & Tiger Conway Sr via count-out at 7:15.
- Conway was counted out after Irwin hit a big boot that sent him head first into a corner post. -- Tokens: Irwin 2 - Conway 2

BOBO BRAZIL & KILLER KOWALSKI def. Doug Somers & Mike McCord via submission at 14:43.
- Brazil finished Somers with a bear hug. -- Tokens: Brazil 1, Kowalski 1 - Somers 3, McCord 4
- Needing a win to guarantee their place in the Heroes Cup tournament, Brazil and Kowalski hammered their opponents with everything in their well stocked arsenal. Somers and McCord refused to go down without a fight, but it was not enough.

JACKIE FARGO & THE CRUSHER def. Bob Orton Jr & Don Muraco (w/ Rock Riddle) via pinfall at 13:17.
- Crusher pinned Orton after a CRUSHER BOLO. -- Tokens: Orton 5, Muraco 4
- Not even Riddle's involvement could prevent this deliberate onslaught as Fargo and Crusher paved their path into the Heroes Cup tournament at Forever Freedom.
TED DIBIASE def. Adrian Adonis via pinfall at 5:25.
- DiBiase pinned Adonis after a LOADED GLOVE. -- Tokens: Adonis 4
- Realizing that the winner of this contest would be pushed into immediate contention for the LCW Universal Heavyweight Championship, both men were eager to emerge triumphant. Adonis arrogantly pointed out that he had already beaten DiBiase on two earlier occasions and would have no problem doing it again. Unimpressed by his opponent's demeanor, DiBiase sent a clear message by unloading on Adonis to claim an important victory.
Heroes Cup Series - Omega Bracket
MAD DOG VACHON & RAY STEVENS def. Bruiser Brody & Jimmy Snuka via DQ at 3:00.
- Snuka was disqualified when he put Vachon through a table with a diving splash from the apron. -- Tokens: Vachon 1
- In a match that would have very little bearing on the upcoming tournament, Brody and Snuka further established themselves as a team that deserved to be feared.
LCW Universal Heavyweight Championship Match
LOU THESZ def. Masked Superstar (w/ Paul Ellering) via pinfall at 4:38.
- Thesz pinned Superstar after a THESZ PRESS. -- Tokens: Superstar 1
- Clever interference by Ellering only delayed the inevitable. Thesz went to work on Superstar with a relentless series of holds and high impact maneuvers.
Lou Thesz retained the LCW Universal Heavyweight Championship for a successful version seven title defense.
Heroes Cup Series - Alpha Bracket
AL COSTELLO & ROY HEFFERNAN (w/ Red Berry) def. Jack & Jerry Brisco via pinfall at 10:52.
- Heffernan pinned Jerry <snake eyes> after a Kangaroo Kick. -- Tokens: Costello 1 - JackB 2, JerryB 1
- This was a hard hitting encounter with high stakes as the Briscos were on the verge of being knocked out of the Heroes Cup tournament while the Kangaroos were looking to clinch an opening round bye. Harassment by Berry pulled Jack out of position just as Jerry was reaching for a much needed tag. Jack was furious with himself for failing his younger brother and decided to feed his emotions by attacking Heffernan after the bell. A wild brawl erupted and security was needed to restore order. Berry told the Briscos that the Kangaroos would be coming after the tag belts very soon and Jack replied that he was looking forward to the rematch.

As much as I enjoy Tn'T, it's gonna take some luck for them to make the semifinals. A colossal announcement re. the future of my LOW fed is coming later today (or maybe tomorrow)... And things will NEVER EVER be the SAME AGAIN! |
