04.Jul.02 - FOREVER FREEDOM from the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC will be the final event for Legendary Chronicles Wrestling. The company is transitioning to a worldwide territorial system known as the Global Pro Wrestling Alliance.
The existing roster will receive appropriate recognition with many immediately going to work in Sunrise Coast Wrestling, one of the flagship promotions in the newly established alliance.
Stay tuned for more news as quickly as it becomes available!

Awesome news of the GPWA! Definitely looking forward to more news about the alliance and seeing your take on the territory system! It's been a long time since I've done a soft reboot on one of my feds, but that is exactly what I'm attempting here... The GPWA will exist in the same "universe" as LCW, even though everything else will essentially be reset to Day One as far as history goes. One thing that I want to point out is that I'm going to start off by actually running just a single promotion that exists within the territorial alliance... At the same time, I will attempt to build up some history for the alliance itself by running one-off matches with the champions as well as some other touring attractions. Hopefully, this will all make sense as things progress... I will most likely start a new thread when the GPWA takes over... Looking forward to seeing all my friends and fellow promoters on the other side! |

- With an opening round victory over the former champion already under his belt, the fans were confident that their favorite would deliver a repeat performance. Their faith was rewarded as Rocca advanced to the tournament final in dynamic fashion.

GORGEOUS GEORGE (w/ Cherie Dupre) def. Dynamite Kid via DQ at 2:11.- Dynamite was disqualified when he shoved the referee.
- The unexpected arrival of Buddy Rogers, who was forced to surrender the LCW Universal Cruiserweight Championship due to an injury suffered at Dynamite's hands, caused a distruption just moments after the opening bell. Dynamite greeted Rogers with harsh words, leading to an angry dispute out on the floor. When the referee tried to intervene, Dynamite bumped him into the rails. George was delighted to receive the gift of this effortless outcome.
ILIO DIPAOLO & JOHNNY VALENTINE def. Bob Roop & Gorilla Monsoon via pinfall at 13:55.
- DiPaolo pinned Monsoon after an AIRPLANE SPIN. -- Tokens: DiPaolo 1 - Monson 1
- This new rivalry continued to pick up steam as both teams struggled to gain leverage in this hard fought exchange.
LCW Universal Tag Team Championship Match
JACK & JERRY BRISCO def. Greg Valentine & Terry Gordy (w/ Jimmy Hart) via submission at 17:34.
- Jack finished Valentine with a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. -- Tokens: JackB 2, JerryB 1 - Valentine 3, Gordy 1
- Not even Hart's constant interruptions could stop the Briscos. The current champions were eager to bounce back from their disappointing run during the Heroes Cup series and they relied on formidable teamwork to accomplish this goal. Minor friction seemed to develop within the Hart Foundation as Valentine took exception with Gordy's failure to make the save. Hart managed to smooth things over, but also realized that it might be prudent to make some organizational changes.
Jack & Jerry Brisco retained the LCW Universal Tag Team Championship for a successful version four title defense.

The Briscoe Brothers beat two men who take a lot to change gears, but can take a lot of abuse, add in Hart & it could have been new champs. what I want to see is Dem Boys from ROH jump the barricade and have a Briscoe Brothers face off. LCW continues to show greatness
