Man, the end of the tour comes, and we get some great action as a result. The Vachons fight it out & then “hug it out”, so to speak. I like what you did there. Makes sense and works for the two of them, reinforcing their unpredictable “we’ll fight anyone” nature.
Fargo and Koloff could still get some mileage if that’s the plan, but if not, this marks a suitable end to their feud.
Stevens & Bockwinkel will always be an easy choice for promoters to shoot to the too and once there, they’ll definitely capitalize in the chances given.
As, Buddy Rogers, your mouth may have gotten the best of you in this one, but I have a feeling it won’t be long before he racks up some wins.
Kowalski is the monster of the mountain and it may take a lot for him to be removed. I was surprised. I really thought Valentine would bounce back.
Looking forward to the next tour!

Street vs Saint is always fun. Bock and Stevens will prove tough to beat and Kowalski remains on a major roll. As his name implies, Kowalski is simply KILLING it! Things took a rather unexpected turn after he won that non-title bout against Valentine... Planning to put together a few booking notes before the next tour that will kinda summarize how that went down. Saint did very well during the initial title tournament, but kinda dropped off after that... We'll see if that encounter with Street evolves into anything further. Truly appreciate the continued interest, my friend... Many thanks!

A lot happened on that tour finale and I'm going to take a little time to analyze the results and figure out where everything is heading... In the past, I've had a tendency to rush into things and I don't want to book myself into any corners... I'm interested to see if Kowalski, Bockwinkel & Stevens can carry the gold for awhile... Now that the roster has developed a bit, a lot more thought will be needed when selecting future challengers. Truly pleased that you're enjoying the ride, my friend... Many thanks for staying tuned!

LEGENDARY CHRONICLES WRESTLING
BOOKING NOTEBOOK
- The inaugural LCW Universal Heavyweight Champion, Bobo Brazil, remains on hiatus heading into the next tour. His temporary leave of absence was really the only way I could explain him dropping the title so soon.
- At first, I was going to run a program between Johnny Valentine and Nick Bockwinkel for the LCW Universal Heavyweight title while trying to move Jackie Fargo & Killer Kowalski into the top contenders spot for the tag belts. However, Killer Kowalski took me a little by surprise when he defeated Valentine in a non-title match. Then he had that monster performance on the second last card, overcoming the odds to eliminate three opponents in the Team Survivor Challenge. At this point, I decided that Kowalski had more than earned a title shot.
- Moving Kowalski into the main title picture meant that I needed to re-work my other angles. Bockwinkel & Stevens naturally became the next to challenge Race & Hennig for the tag belts. This left Ivan Koloff and Jackie Fargo as the odd men out. Fortunately, I was able to play off Fargo being disqualified while battling Koloff in the Team Survivor Challenge. This led to the Russian Chain match between them on the tour finale. I'm not expecting that particular rivalry to continue, but who knows?
- Buddy Rogers and Lou Thesz finally returned to action after being absent since the initial LCW Universal Heavyweight title tournament. I put this match together at the last minute because I felt the fans deserved another match after the opener (The Destroyer & Tiger Conway Sr vs. Gorgeous George & The Spoiler) resulted in a no contest. Expecting these two will gradually move up the rankings and possibly into title contention during the next tour.
- I treated the Triple Threat involving the Vachons and The Crusher as a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure style of outcome. IF either Vachon had ended the match by beating the other, it would have led to a rivalry between them. However, since Butcher pinned The Crusher, I decided to have the brothers put aside their differences when the fight was over.
- Angelo Poffo & Bob Armstrong were exiled following their loss to Abdullah the Butcher & Bull Curry. Honestly, I would have been happy with this contest going either way. That being said, Abdullah & Curry are undefeated in tag team competition. Maybe we'll see them take a run at the champions in the near future.
- Based on real-life chronology, I anticipate the following individuals will make their debut at some point during the upcoming tour: Sheepherders (Butch Miller and Luke Williams were close enough that I will bring them in together), Wild Bill White, Jimmy Valiant, Ox Baker, Frank Dalton, Blackjack Mulligan, Bobby Heenan, Johnny Valiant and Nikolai Volkoff. It should be noted that I have not yet introduced anyone from the Tragos/Thesz HoF set - Just recently obtained this and thinking I might use a special event to bring them all in together (with the exception of Dan Severn, who didn't debut until much later than the rest).
- Here are my Unofficial Rankings at the conclusion of the tour... I decided that each wrestler would only be ranked as an individual OR as part of a tag team... Not both.
LCW Universal Heavyweight Champion: Killer Kowalski 1. Johnny Valentine 2. Ivan Koloff 3. The Destroyer 4. Pampero Firpo 5. Gorgeous George 6. Lou Thesz 7. Adrian Street 8. Jackie Fargo 9. Lou Albano 10. Joe Blanchard
LCW Universal Tag Team Champions: Nick Bockwinkel & Ray Stevens 1. Harley Race & Larry Hennig 2. Abdullah the Butcher & Bull Curry 3. Red Bastien & The Crusher 4. Butcher & Mad Dog Vachon 5. Billy Red Lyons & Johnny Saint

LEGENDARY CHRONICLES WRESTLING
True Believers Tour (card #14) 01.May.05 - PPG Paints Arena, Pittsburgh, PA
BILL WHITE def. Kenny Jay via pinfall at 1:33. - White finished Jay with a RUNNING POWERSLAM. This was a great debut for White even though the quality of opposition left something to be desired. -- Tokens: Jay 2
SHEEPHERDERS: BUTCH MILLER & LUKE WILLIAMS def. Joe Blanchard & Mike DiBiase via pinfall at 8:14. - Miller & Williams finished DiBiase with an illegal double team assault while the referee was busy escorting Blanchard back to the apron after he broke up a near fall. Relying on sheer brutality, the Sheepherders bounced back from a few close calls for an impressive debut victory. -- Tokens: Williams 1 - DiBiase 5
THE SPOILER def. Tiger Conway Sr. via submission at 1:26. - Spoiler finished Conway with a BIONIC CLAW (0). These two men were scheduled to compete in a tag team contest on the last card that never took place because Spoiler attacked Conway's partner, The Destroyer, before the match. Spoiler made short work of Conway and made a few insulting remarks about The Destroyer while making his exit. -- Tokens: Conway 1
BUDDY ROGERS def. Johnny Saint via pinfall at 4:15. - Rogers finished Saint with an atomic drop. It was apparent that Rogers was still in a foul mood following his loss to Lou Thesz on the last card and he jumped Saint before the opening bell. Saint offered some token resistance, but Rogers was relentless and had no reservations about using a few cheap tactics to maintain the advantage. With his arm raised in triumph, Rogers made a grand proclamation. 'To a nicer guy, it could not have happened.' -- Tokens: Saint 3
THE DESTROYER def. Gorgeous George (w/ Cherie Dupre) via submission at 2:29. - Destroyer finished George with a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. This was the second match on the card pitting two competitors against each other that were supposed to face off in tag team action on the last card. That match was ruled a no contest due to The Spoiler's prematch assault against Destroyer and he was looking for some kind of resolution. After claiming a decisive victory, Destroyer promised to track down Spoiler and make him regret his choice of enemy. -- Tokens: n/a
LCW Universal Tag Team Championship Match HARLEY RACE & LARRY HENNIG def. Nick Bockwinkel & Ray Stevens via pinfall at 11:33. - Hennig finished Bockwinkel with a turnbuckle squash. There was some controversy regarding the manner in which Bockwinkel and Stevens won the tag belts on the last card, leading to this immediate rematch being signed. Race and Hennig patiently chipped away at Bockwinkel and Stevens while making certain they were unable to employ any underhanded tricks. -- Tokens: Hennig 1 - Bockwinkel 4, Stevens 2 HARLEY RACE & LARRY HENNIG won the LCW Universal Tag Team Championship. (2)
LOU THESZ def. Ivan Koloff via pinfall at 5:46. - Thesz finished Koloff with a GRECO-ROMAN BACKDROP. This was the rematch that Thesz had wanted ever since losing to Koloff during the opening round of the LCW Universal Heavyweight Championship tournament. He did not squander the opportunity to even the score. Since both men won high profile contests on the finale of the last tour, a rubber match was announced for the next show and the winner would place himself directly in line for a title shot. -- Tokens: Thesz 1
JOHNNY VALENTINE, RED BASTIEN & THE CRUSHER def. Killer Kowalski, Butcher & Mad Dog Vachon via pinfall at 8:54. - Crusher finished Butcher with a high risk leg drop from the top rope. With his chance to regain the LCW Universal Heavyweight Champion coming up on the next show, Valentine wanted to get his hands on Kowalski. However, his desire paled in comparison to Crusher's need to redeem himself for the continuous string of setbacks he had suffered at the hands of the Vachon brothers. With solid cooperation, Valentine and Crusher both received an acceptable amount of satisfaction. Wanting to ensure a decisive conclusion to their upcoming battle, Valentine dared Kowalski to defend the title inside a steel cage. Kowalski accepted the challenge. -- Tokens: Valentine 1, Bastien 2, Crusher 1 - Butcher 1

Bockwinkel and Stevens may be a great tag team but Race and Hennig are killers! Great to see them get the belts back! It was a super fun match to play as well... Race & Hennig put in a lot of work to regain those belts... Don't think Bockwinkel & Stevens will get a rematch straight out of the gate though... Gonna see if any other teams can step up... Totally appreciate the awesome feedback, my friend... Many thanks!

And the tag titles hot potato immediately. Nice to see White and Jay in action. Kenny Jay tried to get something going, but Wild Bill wasn't having it... HA! If I keep pitting Race & Hennig against Bockwinkel & Stevens, I fear the game of hot potato may continue... Gonna try to work up a few angles in the tag team division, so we can see more than just those two teams competing against each other for the gold. Always appreciate the continued interest, my friend... Many thanks for staying tuned!
